O Aston Matin DBX pode ser o primeiro SUV do mundo a ter um modo de drift. O sistema, presente em modelos como Mercedes-AMG E63 S e Ford Focus RS. O novo modelo da Aston está perto de ser lançado e chegou a ter um protótipo circulando no último Festival de Goodwood, na Inglaterra. A marca não chegou a confirmar que o DBX terá o sistema, mas o gerente geral de dinâmica veicular da marca, Ian Hartley, em entrevista ao portal inglês Car Advice.

Segundo o executivo, ele teria sido muito favorável ao modo drift, mas não chegou a confirmar se o DBX o terá. Caso queira instalar o sistema num SUV, a marca terá que lidar com a física. Como o modelo tem centro de gravidade bem mais alto, permitir que ele escorregue demais lateralmente pode ser perigoso. A manobra pode resultar num capotamento.

Em todo caso, os protótipos vem mostrando que o DBX será bem baixo em relação a outros SUVs. Isso pode dar ao modelo vantagens dinâmicas, e possibilitar o inédito modo drift.

Aston tem motor AMG

A Aston Martin ainda não deu detalhes sobre o que estará sob o capô do modelo. Provavelmente será o V8 de 4,0 litros biturbo fornecido pela Mercedes-AMG. Um V12 poderá chegar num segundo momento. Com ou sem modo drift, é esperado que o DBX tenha desempenho para fazer frente à cúpula dos SUVs de alto luxo. São modelos como Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga e Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

Hartley: her brother is very high needs and doesn't usually respond well to sound but the first time she played her flute for him during a school break he reacted with happy flappy hands and wouldn't let her do anything else for the duration of the break

Percy: gosh he's just the sweetest best friend I could have made for Beth which is very funny because he's based on a Sim I created while playing as Beth in The Sims 4 and Sim Percy had randomized with the evil and mean traits XD

the Robins are easy - they get robin wings, probably different types of robin for each of them tho; Indian robin for Ricki, flame robin for Jessie, American robin for Tiff, Rufous-tailed robin for Dami

Brie gets gray myotis bat wings (the patterning looks vaguely kevlar-y to me lol)
