yo has anyone else ever wondered why Kitty is so terrified of the jabberwock? like, in "a wonderlandiful world" girl literally gets goosebumps at any mention of it. also in "once upon a time" the narrator said that one time they merely said the word "jabberwock" and kitty went invisible for hours

Cool. I am here to just talk about the EAH part of this. I actually created this in order for people to feel safe about sharing their opinions. If they're being an asshole, I will either delete the confession, tell them off myself, or let the community tell them off for me. This fandom has been full of toxicity since before I made this blog. Hell, some of my friends were getting death threats because of their opinions about EAH since before I made this blog. Claiming that my existence is causing all of this is disingenuous. Maybe look at the people literally talking over people of color. Maybe look at the amount of people who are fascist apologists. This mindset is honestly less productive than the existence of my blog.

I genuinely dislike confessional fandom accounts. They give an open door to unwanted toxicity because you're practically giving them permission to be honest with their "opinions" and takes.

A fandom that does this a lot is The Sun and Moon Show. Many confession accounts allow people to express how toxic they are. Not only are these accounts where you will find the worst part of fandoms, but they genuinely bring toxicity to peaceful fandoms like the Ever After High on recently.

I genuinely think these types of accounts don't need to exist and only ruin hope for others. I left the SAMS fandom because of this toxicity brought specifically by these accounts! I don't think the owners of these accounts do this out of malice, they clearly have no intention of bringing toxicity.

But it's the fact that they result in people being bullied, receiving death threats, being accused of prejudices like homophobia and racism, and being scared away from the fandom, that really makes me dislike the concept of these types of accounts.

I know this isn't going to stop, I just wanted to talk about it because it genuinely bothers me.

Sometimes late at night i think about that one fic i started writing about red x wolf and how their daughters see whats love suposed to be like trou their marriage but i didnt know that if you leave draft untached for more them 30 days it get deleted and now its lost....

I would love an ever after high reboot they could add so many things but also I don't want it because i would hear people whine oh this isn't the same, they changed this or whatever..

bunnistair's been said by some to be kinda bland, a little too predictable, too boring. and while i kinda agree, i think the best way to make a ship more interesting is to give it a bit more angst. consider this: in the original story, alice always leaves wonderland. she wakes up from her dream, unsure if wonderland, with all its nonsense, was ever real or if it was just a figment of her imagination. in the eah world, of course it's real, but alice still has to leave. though she did fall in love with wonderland's wonder and magic and charm and riddles, she still had to climb back up that rabbit hole. because she had her family to go back to, her life to return to.

with this, alistair knows that he has to leave wonderland one day too. so he approaches his crush with bunny with so much gusto. he wants to spend all his time with her and confess his love before he has to leave. he wants to dive in 100%. but bunny approaches her own crush the total opposite way. she's hesitant to confront her love for allister because she knows how the story ends. alistair would have to leave and she doesn't know if she can deal with the heartbreak of him being gone from her life. she's convinces herself to never love at all instead of experiencing a love so great and wonderful and then losing it.

@eah-confessions has declared today side character appreciation day! If I had a week and we weren't in the middle of moving, I'd do at LEAST a few more art pieces, but I HAD to make a shoutout to the actual best teacher at Ever After High: Professor Jack-Be-Nimble

If you didn't read the books you may not know this, but Jack is an AMAZING teacher! You can see in his webisode with Cedar that instead of trying to force her to do something she CAN'T do, which is the usual approach at EAH, he immediately offers her an alternate solution to the assignment that achieves exactly the same goal. And Cedar also feels comfortable talking to him about it, which isn't something we see with most other teachers!

But the real star of the show for me is his one-scene wonder in Unfairest of Them All, which shows he really does care about his students and takes the opportunity to help them whenever he can. Behold his skulking lesson:

(For reference, he spends the whole lesson disappearing and reappearing around the room while Raven attempts to have a very sensitive texting conversation with Cerise. Instead of reprimanding her, he helps her out, and she continues to use his advice throughout the books).

Version without the shading so you can see my man better! I changed the embroidery on his vest to look like candlesticks, but he's otherwise exactly the same. Also, I get more attached to Raven's design everytime I draw her. It's actually just so perfect for her.

The "Raven was selfish too" people are the same type of people that would say "Black people can be racist towards white people".

even after everyone started dancing wonderland style she still kept dancing the way she did at the start
