I have so many ideas already and not enough time to work on all of them... but lately an old idea has resurfaced in my memory..

Fullmetal Ed: This has been in my brain for 10 years, it plays out very similarly to the halloween special. Ed has graduated from reading comics to reading manga! He’s picked up a series called “Fullmetal Alchemist” and he’s very excited because the main character has the same name as him! While Edd and Eddy are stopping by to visit him, he receives a package! It’s a cosplay jacket of Edward Elric’s coat! Ed dons the bright red jacket and immediately his mind slips into fantasy land. All of a sudden, he finds himself in the world of fullmetal alchemist, and he, Edward Elric, must go on a quest to find his brother! 

He sees all of the eene characters as different fma characters, and they all get roped into Ed’s shenanigans for better or worse. Edd deduces the only way to pull him out of this trance is to play along with his charade and find this mysterious brother. In the end, they end up building an alphonse replica out of cardboard lol.

The characters Ed sees go as follows:

He sees Eddy as the homunculus, Greed

He sees Edd as Winfry, much to Edd’s embarrassment to roleplay as the love interest lmao

Jimmy is wrath (they have an eye-bandage which is really the only reason Ed sees them as that particular homunculus.)

I can definitely see funny gags where Ed is actually using alchemy to create things from nothing, which confuses the hell out of Edd.

Okay, get ready Daniel, you know how this goes

1) I doubt R!Tord knows about Hilarson, or if he does, i doubt he's aware of the bond Tom and him had. How would he react knowing that Tom held him so dear and close to his heart, let alone that he skimmed through his years-old dairy (that maybe he still has on? I bet Tord would die to read the parts with Tom mentioned)

2) What would R!Tord do if, after Toms capture he found out that Tom has a partner? A love life? He doesnt know who they are, where they are, in what country and how serious it is, he has no leads, he only knows that Tom is determined enough to endure any type of torture and will keep his mouth shut.

3) so about that ask of Tom disappearing (before the war ) and Tord ruling, more empty than ever.

What would he do, if he found out that someone killed Tom, but only after YEARS of having ruled the world. Years of being empty, he's a lot older, maybe tired, probably bored and one of his search teams somehow finds his remains. What would he do if he found the murderer?

4) so lets say, Tom's murdered right? Does it matter how he was murdered? I mean, would R!Tord treat the person more or less horribly, had he found out Tom suffered a lot while dying, mayhaps was tortured to death- or does he not care at all and only cares that he's dead?

5) R!Tord dies. Tom kills Tord, hooray, what does he do after that? Can he really find peace? With Edd and Matt?

6) RTord dies after tom kills him, but Matt and Edd are also dead, can Tom live on happily still?

7) Stay question, because im feeling generous today ^^ Does AK like anime? I want to think that Tord drags them in comicdoms, maybe begs to do team cosplays, like dress up from the same anime. I can picture them doing a full out Spy family cosplay, and for some reason i feel like Tom would be Loid and Tord Yor

8) idk if you've answered this, but when Matt and Tom were in a relationship for like, a week, back in their teenager years. Did Tord know? How was he coping?

9) How do you feel about someone making fan works, of your fan work. Like what if someone made a oneshot, based on regimen (they've given u credits, ofc)

Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Also theres something so amazing about R!Tom having to pretend to be in a relationship with S!Tord and battling with his emotions and bodily functions, so wholesome, i needed this (meanwhile Stay Tom keeps suffering (o´Д`)=з)

HAHAHAHA Alright bud here we go: 1) Well at this point, he wouldn't matter much. Hilarson is dead and gone and it's not like Tom can do anything about that. So it's whatever, but he'll do his best to ensure Tom focuses on the present more. (Unfortunately, Tom does not have Hilarson's journal anymore. It was left behind.)

2.) :) 3.) It's your standard execution, but it would be a lot slower. Though I doubt Tord will be able to feel much of anything even if he watches them die. I'm pretty sure by this point he'll be a very hollow version of himself. After all that power tripping, violence, and domination, all he's left with is a cold, grey, broken world. He has everything he could ever want. But, now he faces a void. And there is nothing. There is nothing. 4.) He cares a lot about everything that happened to Tom. How he died won't really matter to how he'll treat the murderer, if it was a fast or slow death, he won't let the perpetrator die in peace, for daring to take the only colour he'd ever had in his life, the only thing that made things fun, the only person he could call an equal. 7.) AAAAAAAAA That's so cute! Though I think AK will be neutral when it comes to anime, he much prefers more western animation like all the old cartoons Man of Action used to produce. (I bet he'd be into Megas XLR lmao) But he humors his dad when he drags him over to show him the classics, so despite not being a huge fan of it, AK is pretty up to date with anime and anime culture. AND YOU'RE RIGHT, Tom is Loid, Tord is Yor, and he will ROCK THE SHIT out of that dress. Their family cosplay is super accurate bc Tord is a dork and he knows how to make clothes (remember one of his hobbies is doll customization lmao) 8) Matt and Tom dated for about 5 months when they were teens! And ofc Tord knew bc they were super obnoxious about being a happy gay couple (Not that they weren't obnoxiously affectionate when they were just best friends, now they just get to kiss a lot.), and this made him super depressed and jealous (although he didn't know he was jealous.) And more or less exacerbated his shut-in weeb tendencies, which Edd had to deal with by dragging him out of his house to hang out with them some more (or at least with just him, since Edd would notice that Tord is pining after Tom.) How was he coping? Badly, could've resulted in him being an incel like RTord with all of the 'nice guys finish last' or 'Im always in the friendzone boo hoo' but luckily Edd is there to make him stop before he gets redpilled. 9.) I'd be really flustered but I wouldn't mind ahahaha, as long as credit is given I guess. ALSO YEAH FAKE MARRIAGE EXCEPT ITS WITH THE ALT VERSION OF YOUR ENEMY/EX FRIEND/EX-MAYBE-LOVER?? The Legacy of Teen Titans (2003)

It’s been 19 years and three iterations since Teen Titans premiered on Cartoon Network. A show that not only stayed alive for 5 seasons while fighting for time against greats like Ed, Edd, n Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, but thrived. Now in 2023, what does all of that mean?

Was Teen Titans the greatest show of all time? Was it even good, or were we just young?

Before I begin I want to offer a warning that this is NOT a debate about Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!.

One thing for certain, is this show was ahead of its time, and maybe even still is to this day. While there were a slew of shows that relied on nonsensical humor, and devoid of any storyline that wasn’t contained to a single episode (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), they managed to deliver a captivating story every season.

This doesn’t mean they didn’t use cheap gags, or childish jokes, they absolutely did. However, it was supplemental, it was hardly ever the sell of the show. It wasn’t why most people watched. 

It’s easy to say something you loved was better than the rest, maybe you’re blinded by nostalgia and your dedication to your memories. Or you don’t want to feel like you wasted your time watching. So what exactly did they do, and why was it so good?

Teen Titans managed to create a team of 5 young teenagers with their own unique abilities and personalities that played off each other very well. They’re almost like the Breakfast Club with powers. A jock, weirdo, pretty girl, nerd, and bad boy… or beast boy.

What I’m saying is they were relatable. They were misfits who came together to create a place where they were no longer misfits. They were a team. 

The show was also aware of its social responsibility . There is a great interaction in episode 45, “Troq”, in which Starfire tells Cyborg, “There will always be people who say mean words because you are different. Sometimes their minds cannot be changed. But there are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. Those are the people whose words truly matter”. As much as people love to believe that the world is a different place, it’s not always, and in 2005 this was a bold statement in a children’s show. 

Not only that, but they didn’t make a joke of it. It was serious and engaging, and it had an emotional toll on you and the characters. It was incredibly applicable, whether you personally interpret it about race, sexuality, or gender. The best part was how easy it was to understand as a child. It didn’t use big words that most young children wouldn’t know, it just told you to be nice to people who are different.

I think if you look back on this show it’s easy to remember how good it was, and still is. There’s a reason why you can still find remnants of this show scattered across the Internet. Whether it’s somebody with a Beast Boy or Red X profile picture, a Raven cosplay going viral on Instagram, or fan art on Tumblr. 

The show was that good.

Even today, the 17th anniversary of the final episode, the internet celebrates an amazing show that was a staple of Cartoon Network's early 2000s lineup. Teen Titans will continue to live on for years to come and it’s legacy will only continue to grow stronger.

-Edd doesn't really have a diagnosed illness. He had body issues for a while. Ate a lot. Gets kinda anxious sometimes, but nothing his therapist tries digging into to find deeper meaning.

-but he's been with the gang for so long that he's kinda the mom of the group.

- "Tom! Tord! Did you take your meds??" "What??" "Your Paxil and Divaproex! Come take it!" "In a minute!" "Not in a minute! Come take it now!"

-Has the big mom purse thing stuffed with sensory toys for Everybody and has a lingering suspicion that Tord had ADHD

-tries to get Tom to stop drinking cause it lessens the effects of his medication.

-if you have a mental illness, he's probably got something in his bag for it.

-CLING.

-Never wanna leave your side baby

-He heavy. The hot kind (which probably doesn't give you much information cause any kind of heavy can be the hot kind)

- he's like a bean bag

- purposefully leaves his hoodie around for you to take.

- loves cooking and your terrible at it.

-does art commissions as a job and it's fun but sucks cause it's mostly hentai and gets very few good commercial jobs

Tord

-He's got the BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) since last night, I've been looking into some illnesses and this fits very well.

-i genuinely believe that Tord didn't leave with the intent to raise an army. He really did go to the big city to become a mechanic/big time engineer.

-one of my theories is that he left before anyone else could leave him, since some people with BPD have an intense fear of abandonment.

- And they tend to have rocky relationships and these symptoms get intense the younger you are.

-Tom and Tord were best friends when they grew up. Even dated for a little bit before things got rocky. Mostly Tord having aquired feelings that Tom would begin to hate him or become cruel, which lead to a large falling out between them.

-he's got speration anxiety, but after coming back to get his giant robot (and then proceeding to Chicken out) he keeps it at bay and stays silent, seeing as some of the group hasn't forgiven him for leaving.

- if he's having Abandonment Paranoia, he'll stress in silence.

-he also happens to be very impulsive, seeing as he made the last minute decision to leave the red army after seeing his friends once more, the same symptom that cause him to switch his passion for creating to world domination.

- might have ADHD: likes fidget toys and is constantly in movement. Also has a difficult time trying to focus on things he hates.

-he likes things that go 'click'

-back in middle school, he had two ball magnets that were meant for the fridge but took them everywhere because they attracted to each other and made a good noise.

-he likes when you wear dangly jewelry

-will take your dangle bracelets and jingle them around

- Don't like being alone but constantly locks himself in his room to work on commissions for machines

- machines mostly include automated cosplay, specific contraptions like automatics doggy doors, and sometimes even prosthetics.

-sharp canines. He looks like a puppy. Or a cat, whichever you prefer.

Tom

-Avoidant Personality Disorder

-but in a really weird way.

- tried to combat his shyness with alcohol. No one will bother him if he looks like a drunken slob, right?

- oversensitive to criticism (mostly from Tord) tries to fight it with aggression

-also has ADHD so he's a little all over the place.

-can stare at a wall for hours and keep himself entertained.

Ravenclaw Archetypes

As much fun as it can be to sort ourselves into Hogwarts Houses, not everyone fits to their house traits the same way. Not all Gryffindors are reckless, not all Hufflepuffs are hard-working, not all Ravenclaws are oddballs, and not all Slytherins are cunning. So, I’m here to go through the different archetypes of people and characters who fit into Hogwarts Houses in different ways. This time, I’ll be covering my secondary house as a proud Slytherclaw, so let’s see what kind of nerd you are. And you can flex your Slytherin Pride [here] by pegging what Archetype of Slytherin you are.

The Nerd:

The first thing we think of when we hear Ravenclaw, Nerds are walking encyclopedias with a treasure trove of facts and information. They tend to study because they enjoy learning. For them, school was fun, and the library is an important place. If the burning of the Library of Alexandria angers you, welcome home ya nerd.

The Geek:

Nerds know facts, Geeks know pop culture. If you know what year the first issue of Superman comics was written, you’ve found your label. A geek lives for cosplay, fandom, conventions, shipping, fanfiction, and memorabilia. And they are not Nerds. Nerds and Geeks are different, but can overlap. However, you don’t have to know book smarts to be a Geek.

The Bookworm:

Not all Ravenclaws are brainiacs. The Bookworm has a love for reading that is not directly tethered to book smarts. For this archetype, reading is a relaxing hobby.  It is often a trait among introverts, especially as a way to decompress, and they also tend be loners who prefer their quiet alone time.

The Valedictorian:

Expect this archetype to have the highest grades, to be part of every club or organization, and has probably run for class president. A Ravenclaw with an undercurrent of Slytherin, they are ambitious in their intellectual pursuits. The main thing keeping them out of Slytherin house is their love of learning and knowledge which overshadows their ambition to achieve.

The Advocate:

Just as the Valedictorian has elements of Slytherin, the Advocate has elements of Gryffindor. The advocate champions the rights of the underdog, stands up to hypocrisy, and points out logical fallacies in any argument. They hold up the light of truth and knowledge to combat ignorance and prejudice through their insight and knowledge.

The Dreamer:

The Hufflepuff among Ravenclaws, The Dreamer is a Ravenclaw who believes in the inherit goodness of the world. These Ravenclaws may be seen as overly optimistic and naive, but this just speaks to Ravenclaw House’s knack for marching to its own beat, and standing out in a way that shows the house’s unique and open-minded world view.

The Scientist:

Typically the standard “brain” of a team in fiction, most team brains tend to be nerdy in math and/or science, such as Pidge, Edd, and Entrapta. The Scientist is invested in scientific endeavors. They seek knowledge, but can easily be warped into the Mad Scientist, as characters like Lord Orochimaru, Rick Sanchez, and Shou Tucker cross the moral line as they perform inhuman experiments in pursuit of knowledge. They tend to value logic and the scientific approach, and will seek out evidence and statistics to reach a conclusion.

The Investigator:

Those who thirst for answers, The Investigator’s interest in knowledge is directly impacted by a desire to know and understand more. However, unlike the Scientist that may use this knowledge for personal gain, The Investigator prefers exposing the truth and uncovering the facts. They love cracking codes, solving riddles, unearthing secrets, and exposing the truth.

The Adult:

Ravenclaw is a house associated with wisdom, and with wisdom comes maturity, responsibility, and leadership. Expect these people to be mom friends and dad friends, offering advice, taking care of others, and typically being mature for their age, and wise beyond their years. They behave like an adult, even from an early age. They may get a bad wrap for being boring instead of young and reckless, but they are also sensitive, stable, and trustworthy.

The Creative:

Ravenclaws tend to think outside the box, and that wild imagination and intelligence tends to leak out as writing, painting, dancing, acting, and any other creative endeavor. Even those who lack the talent to be an artist themselves can still fall under this archetype if they appreciate and value the arts and creative acts.

The Unconventional:

Ravenclaw is known for being a little odd. Ravenclaws revel in their unusual eccentricities. They’re fine marching to the beat of their own drum. A bit of a nutty genius, artists like Salvadore Dali, David Bowie, and Mozart are known for being unusual. Entire artistic movements like cubism, avant guarde, and club kid fashion follow this zany mindset.

The Cloudcuckoolander:

Separate from the Unconventional, the Cloudcuckoolander is someone whose mind is a strange and unusual thing to outsiders. They come off as almost being detached from reality, their head in the clouds, and seeming odd in their mannerisms. People tend to treat them as delusional or crazy, but they show themselves to be strangely insightful into others.

I hope this breakdown helps to highlight that Ravenclaws come in many different shapes and sizes, and no two Ravenclaws need necessarily be alike. If you’re a proud Ravenclaw and I missed some traits, let me know so I can keep this list updated.

okay here’s what i remember from THE CON

i can’t remember if the ticket was cheap or pricey. i don’t know why. i wanna say it was more expensive or of equal value to a bigger con and i justified it to my parents and myself because it was the first one. but i went because i thought the idea of a con that was centered on the various fandoms popular on this site at the time was a genuinely neat idea. i also thought, okay let me just go because it’s another one to attend.

i should note: that have been to a lot conventions in my time. i’ve been to acen twice i think? i’ve been to nebkon twice. sadly i have never been to c2e2 or flashback chicago (which i may never get to go to now whoops) and i’ve been to wizard world chicago i wanna say 4 times?

now at these cons (mostly wizard world) these fandoms aren’t as present. in fact, the main demo of that con was adult to middle age to older visitors as well as families, so usually teens and young adults would find each other at this con (whether planned ahead or by accident there) and freak the fuck out over our cosplays or mutual love of whatever.

so because of this again the idea of a t.umblr con was exciting to me, even though i was already at the end of being interested in those fandoms (as i’m sure most people were at the time)

okay so first, this con was far. wizard world and acen are held at the rosemont convention center which while kind of far from where i live, is accessible by train via downtown or via one of chicago’s big airports. i always got a ride though which with summer traffic, took forever. so much like that this con was a journey away.

the hotel the con choose i remember thinking it seemed new, but it was far from where i lived which inpacted the amount of time i spent at the con and the decision to only go two days (i didn’t return the last day because it was a shit show)

i went to this con by myself because i think at this point i had already had a falling out with my friend who i went to cons in the area with (she did not attend that i know of). i wore two cosplays that i had made already for other things, gwen stacy and america chavez. this would have been the ideal place for me to cosplay something more niche, but i just didn’t care that much about it. maybe i didn’t think it was worth it at the time since it wasn’t going to be a big con.

so i get there and there’s no long line to get my badge in fact i don’t even remember a line at all. which, for me, was bizarre. every con i’ve been to before had huge lines even on off hours to get badges. but whatever. i cant remember if where i got my badge was in the the same room as where the ball pit was or not. but yes, i did go into the ball pit and i was silly in it with some other people because

idk you see a ball pit you go in the ball pit? in hindsight i know it’s not acceptable to have this at a con, but shit i guess i was high on life at the time. someone took a pic of me in the pit, but i have never seen it.

i remember seeing some very impressive cosplays at this con. i also bought some really great art in the dealers room which was small. (here’s the artist. also this was nonfandom art. i don’t remember buying anything else from anyone because i don’t think i saw anything i liked/could afford) there was no unlicensed night vale merch sold here that i remember, but i do remember receiving free unlicsenced night vale like pamphlets from a random vendor and also  there was a vendor who was giving away a large piece of night vale fan art with a purchase of over something dollars i dont remember.

panels: i don’t remember there being many panels or even very interesting panels. panels i remember going to include: bisexuality in media/bisexuality representation (which was put on by the bisexualbooks tumblr), ask an avenger (which was put on by various marvel cosplayers), and a panel that was about female characters in supernatural (i was a spn stan back in the day jsyk).

the bi one was good. i remember it being the most like a panel that you’d go to at a larger convention. they had slides and info and they took questions and had several speakers.

the avengers one was what we’d call today “cringey” but it was cute. it was exactly what it sounds like. avengers cosplayers sat up on a stage answering questions in character. i believe that all the cosplayers had rp and/or ask blogs which is why they were chosen.

the supernatural panel was, like the bi one, complete with slides and various speakers, but from what i remember it was mostly going down the list of female characters in the show. i remember from the fandom that there a good chunk of people who love the characters, but they’re often killed off or abandoned and this is something a lot of fans did have gripes with. this is gonna sound fake when i say it, but this did happen, we got to charlie and someone said “yeah i like charlie she’s cool because she’s a lesbian but she doesn’t act like one like she’s still feminine” and i spoke up and said “well yeah it’s cool she’s a lesbian, but what do you mean she doesn’t act like one. like queer female character shouldn’t have to be feminine to be seen as good rep.” and people clapped. i know that sounds fake, but please believe me because this is a setting where people are inclined to clap when they agree with statements. people clapped at others too.

i also attended the costume contest, the night vale panel, and the meet and greet with doug jones.

the contest was fine. there was one individual at this con who i can’t name because i didnt know their name, but they cosplayed as ed from edd ed and eddy and they were in character the whole time to the point of discomfort. it wasn’t just for the contest i found myself in a cards against humanity game that they were in and it was even there and it was weird.

then the night vale panel happened and ooooooooohhhh boy

this was the most filled room in the whole con. a main reason i went to this con was to see them and im pretty sure this was everyone’s main reason to go. i known someone from other cons who came from florida to see this. (fun fact: we were mutuals on various platforms and had hung out at various cons and i knew their name, but they could not remember mine and i thought that was bogus so i ghosted them. dont know if i was justified in that but whatever)

so here we all were waiting. for over an hour. during this time people talked and i remember someone cosplaying the glow cloud went up and down the isle with a little glow cloud baby in a stroller and we all laughed and cheered. people started playing card games. we kept busy. for me though.

this was one of the most boring cons i’ve been to honestly. i’m having trouble remember a lot of it and that’s because i went solo. i had no friends there. i cosplayed gwen from like the 60s and this was before spidey joined the mcu and before itsv was a thing so spidey was basically an niche fandom (i was active in the tasm and dane deha.an fandoms at this time and the latter became toxic as fuck but that’s a whole other story) or something older comic fans liked.

my other cosplay was america chavez from young avengers which never got that popular either (though kate bishop and kid loki where more recognized, but for their connection to bigger marvel names). so it wasn’t like other cons where my cosplay was an ice breaker and i could join groups. i was alone.

so a lot of the con for that reason was awkward and waiting for night vale was like being the person texting in the corner at a distant relative’s party because they know no one.

so they finally come on stage to say that night vale will not be performing and people went ballistic people were shouting and the person said “we have doug jones in the next hall you should go over to that” and someone yelled “WE DON’T WANT TO SEE HIM”

i went to see doug jones and i was previously unaware of what his name was but i knew who he was. he talked about his work and acting process and did a meet and greet after. mr. jones was a delight and i’m wondering how they even got him there in the first place. he was leagues above this. 

i had to leave the con early that day to go to my brother’s football game, but i believe that was the night they “protested” at the con and i kept seeing on tumblr that it was cancelled. i decided not to go back the next day because i was unsure of what was happening and because it was too far.

and the rest is history. i’m sure i went to other panels, but i can’t remember them. i do remember going into the room where they were watching pacific rim, but it was on a shitty projection screen and i wanted to go to a panel instead.

it’s shitty what happened with the con. and a lot of the unrest came from literal teens who were cheated from money who didn’t know how to act, but all the responsibility goes to the people who organized it poorly. The concept of a tu.mblr con i don’t think should have been inherently bad. i think it would have been cool to have a con that focused on more niche interests. but shouldn’t have been as big as they wanted it to be for the first go.

anyway that’s most of what i can remember. it’s kind of blur because i spent most of it by myself and there wasn’t much to do so i didn’t even spend the whole day there.

quite frankly, i’m glad i wasn’t there when they started singing les mis because i have no idea how i would have acted.

{How To Dress Similarly To Your Favorite Cartoon Characters Pt.2 (Using Five Examples!)}

Hello there!

     My name is Arabella but you can call me Arry, if it’s easier. I don’t know about you but I basically grew up on cartoons. I watched Cartoon Network all day and I used to get so much inspiration from cartoon characters that probably followed me into my older years. Personality and fashion-wise. Have you ever wanted to dress similar to one of your favorite cartoon characters yet not wanting to look like a cosplay or costume? Well, you’ve come to the right gal because that is exactly what I am going to be helping you with but before I get onto the five examples, we must go over some basic knowledge. Fashion can say a lot about a character, especially in cartoons where the clothes rarely change. It has to be iconic yet true to the personality being demonstrated in some sense. Five things go into analyzing and copying a cartoon characters style: 1) Color Palette 2) Aesthetic 3) Overall Impression 4) Fashion Items 5) How It Shapes Their Personality? These are five things we are going to keep in mind during our five examples. Let’s invade this topic.

(Nazz)

   Nazz from Ed Edd n’ Eddy is probably one of the easiest old cartoon characters to make modern. Especially since her style has come back into trend with layering. Now I didn't grow up with Ed Edd n’ Eddy because my mother was fearful that I would develop behavior similar to the boys. But whenever I did see images of it or short scenes, I loved Nazz’s fashion (next to Marie’s). Starting with the first thing to think about when recreating a style of any cartoon character, color palette. A color palette is quite important especially when it comes to cartoon characters because these colors can be forever associated with this character. Nazz’s color palette includes black, white, denim, red, and occasionally green. These colors are great because they can go great with each other and makes a strong color palette. Nazz’s aesthetic is a mixture between Girl Next Door and Tomboy. She has boyish elements that allows her to be ‘one of the boys’ yet she also has a fun, flirty girly side. The third thing to consider is the overall impression of their clothes to the world around them. Now this may seem odd but this is worth consideration because it depends on how you want to be taken. As people judge upon appearances and your clothes can say a lot about you. Nazz’s overall impression and how it makes people see her is that Nazz is seen as very attractive and everyone wants to hang out with her. She’s the female character that has a lot of friends and is overall popular and kind. She isn’t the stereotypical mean girl despite dressing nice and being friends with a lot of people. She breaks that stereotype and shows that you can be cool yet nice. The fourth thing to consider is fashion items, unless you are planning on copying Nazz’s style piece by piece. It is great to really observe it and take pieces of it that may fit into her character yet is good for everyday use and not a cosplay. Remember, it’s all about inspiration. With Nazz, I recommend for tops, basic plain color shirts, crop tops, ringer tees, cropped sweaters, and cami tops. For bottoms, high waisted shorts, basic jeans or ripped jeans, flared jeans, and pleated skirts. For shoes, sneakers like Vans or Converse. For accessories, a quirky pair of sunglasses. And last but not least, the fifth thing to consider is how does her clothes shape her personality? Nazz’s clothes shape her personality in a sense of how she wants to look good. Nazz is very particular on how she looks and despite being confident, is upset if she looks anything but good. Her appearance is very important to her. It shapes her personality in how she likes hanging out with boys more so over girls in the show and is seen as one of the boys due to how her clothes aren’t overly feminine. She’s a great beginner choice for people who want to try this out.

(Mandy)

   Ah yes, the girl I aspired to be when I was younger and probably scared my mother some more. Mandy from Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. This is a fun character because her outfit… is completely different from her personality. She wears a pink flower dress, mary-janes and a headband. She looks like an innocent, girly girl but Mandy is evil. She’s a good type of evil but is still evil. Mandy’s color palette depends on where you want to take from it but I gathered white, black, pale pink, pale blue & pale yellow (counting the flower) and purple (her eyeshadow, at times). But if I was going to dress similarly, I would just do white, black and pale pink as the other colors are mere colors compared to those main three. Mandy doesn’t exactly have an aesthetic instead I guess she would be gothic with pink and a sort of doll-like quality. Mandy’s overall impression is that people mistake her for being sweet and innocent although her parents are terrified of her, everyone is mostly terrified of her. A grim reaper is terrified of her. Her clothes are deceiving but everyone knows that she is a very unhappy person due to her constant frown which was even in there inside the womb. Now onto the fun part, clothing choices. For jackets, I would suggest something like a Lazy Oaf jacket style (like their chore jackets) and oversized cardigans. For tops, mock necks, crop tops, layered shirts with a mock-neck under a shirt. Also pinafore dresses and a-line dresses. For bottoms, high-waisted shorts and pleated skirts. For shoes, mary-janes or sneakers. And for accessories, always have a headband on and maybe some skeleton or creepy accessories like a coffin backpack. Mandy’s clothing shapes her personality in a way for humor, she’s this scary person who can almost be a villain yet edges on being an anti-hero at most. It’s complete satire that she looks sweet and innocent with a gothic personality. So have fun with it because if anything, she shows that it’s not what is on the outside that counts after all. There’s a very creepy personality behind that color of pink.

(Sam Manson)

     Another favorite female character of mine. Okay, let’s say… that you don’t like pink or want to be a secret Goth. There is plenty of gothic female characters to choose from. But one of my favorites has always been Sam Manson from Danny Phantom. I mean, I loved that show in general. And I loved Sam’s design, even though I wasn’t allowed to wear crop-tops til I turned 18. Her color palette is purple, green, black. You’ve noticed that cartoon characters always seem to have a simple color palette. And of course, Sam’s aesthetic is gothic, even though she could also be eco-goth since I remember an episode of her wanting to save the Earth and becoming a vegetarian. For fashion choices, hm. For jackets, I feel like she would wear hoodies, oversized black denim jackets, and long coats or even a varsity jacket. For tops, crop-tops, band tees, mock-necks, muscle tees, fishnet tops and sheer tops with something underneath. If she wore a dress, it would probably be black and an a-line, once again with a mock-neck. For bottoms, plaid skirts, checkered shirts, pleated skirts, ripped jeans with fishnets underneath, high-waisted shorts. For shoes, Doc Martens, sneakers, mary-janes and platforms. For accessories, knee-high socks, fishnets, tights, chokers, patches and enamel pins, belt, and a cool backpack. Sam’s overall impression is kind of hard to sum up in a small summary since Danny Phantom is so complex so I recommend watching the show to get a better idea but it’s never really brought up as a main point in her character how she dresses. She’s a great gothic character for inspiration though.

(Valhallen)

   Okay now the first three characters and five characters of my last post were all girls. For those, who may not know Valhallen is a male character from “Justice Friends” which originated as a short from “Dexter’s Laboratory”, are you following me? Let’s say you’re a dude or you want to dress similar to a dude character. Valhallen is a great character to start with as he is a very simple character to modernized because you don’t even really have to go off his sense of style to dress similar to him. His color palette consists of black, yellow, and silver. Pretty simple. His aesthetic is kind of surfer mixed with metalhead mixed with Nordic god. He was created to be a parody of Thor. Which he succeeds greatly with. What is the overall impression of Valhallen? Well, he is quite a ladies man. He is definitely seen as the more attractive member. Valhallen doesn’t have much of an overall impression except the fact that the ladies love him from all realms and he is a fan favorite character. Onto the fun part! Fashion items. Now I chose Valhallen, because no offense but he does have a feminine touch on clothing that can easily be feminized. The dude wears a midriff. For jackets, denim jackets would suit, perhaps with patches of your favorite metal bands or enamel pins. For tops, crop-tops, midriffs, band tees, muscle tees, fishnet or sheer tops with something underneath, cropped camis. Don’t be afraid to show a lot of skin on your upper body. For bottoms, ripped jeans, basic jeans, high waisted shorts, bell bottoms. For shoes, knee high boots. For accessories, headpieces, fingerless gloves, studded jewelry, spiked belts. How does his clothes shape his personality? Well, he’s The Viking God of Rock. He has to look the part and this is basic metalhead fashion with God twists similar to Thor. He’s a goofy character who is hilariously rad and doesn’t take himself too seriously and his clothes show that. He’s less out there than Major Glory but can stand out more than The Infraggable Krunk. He’s obviously the more free-spirited one who isn’t afraid to be himself.

(Judy Jetson)

    Here is what I like to call expert mode because unlike the other four who have easily modernized looks. Judy is from the future yet has a vintage twist. Her clothes are not something a typical teenager or young adult would wear in this day and age. I mean, someone who isn’t as weird as me. So you have to kind of reinvent her and make her suit your taste yet keep elements about her that are amazing and what makes her lovely. Judy’s color palette is pale pink, red (in some lighting), darker pink, white and black. If anyone asks you about a known fact of me… I love pink with red and pink with black. I also love pink on pink. And Judy Jetson has two of my favorite pinks where it’s not Barbie Pink or Too Pink. The overall impression of Judy, well she’s seen as the teenage girl of the future. She’s boy-crazy, fun, has exciting hobbies, can be quite moody and sassy. She loves dancing, attends high school and spends her evening listening to her favorite boy bands. Parts of Judy have travelled into the future as I related to her a lot when I was sixteen. And still do! She can get out of hand sometimes and I feel like all girls do, even into early adult years. I’ve had my moments where I have overreacted. Onto fashion items! Now, with Judy, as I said before, you are going to have to reimagine outfits for her. With jackets, I suggest fit and flare, perhaps long jackets, something to show off the figure however. With tops, crop-tops, mock necks, fitted tops, fun bodysuits, sheer tops, about anything that is cool. With bottoms, flared skirts or pleated skirts, mini skirts, high-waisted shorts, suspender pants, pants or jeans. For dresses, pinafores, figure hugging, a-line. For shoes, sneakers, flats, boots, platforms. A tip for seeming more futuristic is adding in color palette fitting metallics and holographic. For accessories, tights, knee high socks, circle purses, star shaped things, hair bows, headbands, funky sunglasses, vintage gloves, roller-skates if you skate.  How does Judy’s clothes shape her personality? Well, her outfit is very youthful compared to her mother’s. She has more of a spark and quirky sense. Her clothes really show that she is bubbly and charismatic. She is out of this world. Something that I feel like girls should be more confident to try to be. To be unapologetically themselves. Just because her outfit isn’t exactly the future creators in the 60s were thinking of. It doesn’t mean that we can’t carry traits into this world.

While we do get a lot of positive feedback, we do have to deal with the dEDD-heads of the fandom occasionally. We deal with this not only in the comic but with our cosplays as well. This particular user had spammed us with lots of hate comments on the amino. And seeing how they could not resist continuing to read our comic despite how much they obviously hated it, we took it upon ourselves to block them. 

We are a comic that intends to remind people why they loved Eddsworld in the first place. We are not better than anyone else in the fandom. We all have, at some point or another, been charmed into loving stories about a bunch of moron friends going on crazy adventures together. 

Its actually fascinating to us. These dEDD-heads seem to consider themselves to be fans of the series despite trying to constantly stop Edd’s world from spinning. If you have issues with the Eddsworld fandom, how about you make something and contribute to it. Why don’t you MAKE it better instead of bitching and moaning about how awful it is all the time. 

Luckily its gotten to a point where its more annoying than anything else. Like having to swat at a mosquito every so often. Small, annoying, sometimes makes you itch, contributes nothing good to the world, but can be easily squashed. Let this be a warning to you, we do not tolerate dEDD-heads and we will ban them

Don’t let dEDD-heads stop this world from spinning. There are many talented and amazing people who have been inspired by the work Edd left behind. Don’t let mediocre people place themselves upon a pedestal just to point and gripe at others who are creating and learning. Learn from those who actually make things and have the knowledge to give. Don’t let miserable people stop you. Keep growing.

Hiya!! My intro~

Hiya, this is just an introduction post, since it’s my first. This is just to get all the basic things out of the way, so, where to start?

My name is Emily, but I go by Emm. My two favorite video game series are The Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem, I also like Splatoon and Xenoblade. Lol, nerd. I LOVE food, which you could tell by looking at me, I have been told watching me eat is equivalent to a horror movie! LOL!! Speaking of which I’m not too fond of horror films, I’m more of an action film or a sappy romance comedy kind of girl. I am an anime fan, I do cosplay, but not as often as I’d like too. I adore cats, especially my Mew Mew, you’ll see lots of her later trust me.

I’m going to be a freshman in college this year, I plan on majoring in Environmental Engineering. As you will find I am very passionate about the Environment, I’m one of those RRR junkies. You know Reduce, Reuse and Recyle. Lol. But really it’s important, I don’t want the world to be ruined for someone that isn’t even born yet because the people today are ignorant, not all of them but a lot of them.

My family is kind of small, I have my mother and father, thankfully. An elder and younger sister, making me the middle child. :| And some other distant family, we don’t talk much. My mother is the chatty one. Lol, I don’t inherit that, at all! I’m very introverted and I don’t really talk all that much in person to be honest, unless like I’m REALLY comfortable.

Literature, I love it! I love poems especially! I like getting lost in them, I like how they flow together, they’re like a song, without the need of voice or an instrument. They paint their own story, they’re so full of color or bleak if that’s what the author indented, and often are really deep. I am a HIGHLY emotional person. I don’t know why? I’m just really REALLY sensitive, I’m frequently crying for like no reason?? I dunno what’s wrong with me. Lol #crybaby

Music, omg so music is a really big part of my life and of me as a human being. I listen to lots of varieties of music, including pop, k-pop, j-pop, smooth jazz, R&B, metal, alternative, and my favorite rock. I love a nice raspy voice and soulful lyrics and a tempo that makes me want to dance. Music is supposed to tug on your heart I think, it’s supposed to make you feel it, like your veins are a staff and your blood flowing through them is the notes that your heart will sing. Your legs and arms move to the beat. Banging of the head and swinging of the hair is also nessary. Lol.

My boo~❤️❤️❤️ ok so I don’t want to be that girl, but I’m totally obsessed with my boo bear~ His name is James and his height is dreamy and his eyes are summer tree green. ❤️❤️ He is so kind and gentle and won’t be afraid to show me his emotional side, sooo cute! He is protective but not overly so, he can clean and cook and do everything! Not to mention he helps me with EVERYTHING, and it’s gotten to the point to where I can’t live without him. Lol, kind of sad I guess?? But I don’t care, I love him and I know he loves me. He is also so supportive, I was super scared about going into engineering because it’s a male dominated industry and I’m not the best at math, and I thought it was all math. But with his help I’m doing it and getting an A in two out of three classes, I have a B in the other one. That’s right three classes!!! I’m in my senior year of high school and decided to do engineering, my credits were high enough that I could be an early graduate but I decided to stay. I’m taking IED (introduction to engineering), POE (Principles of engineering), and EDD (Engineering Design and Development). And I LOVE it! Actually in my EDD class it’s self led, where we actually go through the whole engineering process and all that good stuff and make an actual product. My partner, which happens to be one of my besties, and I are working on a new bra design. I might make some posts about that but I don’t really want too because this is the internet and I don’t want anyone to steal our idea. I mean this is a whole year of work! It’s a whole school year project.

Anyways, this has gone on long enough, longer than I wanted. If you happen to have any questions, or just want to talk, hit me up!! Also I’m sorry for how many times I said “lol” throughout this post. ^^’ oopsie!
