💗: what or who inspired you to edit?

tldr bc i rant under the cut: my friend mino was the first in like 2021, then lavendergalactic inspired me to pick it back up !!

OKOKOK SO I first started editing around 2021-ish because a mutual of mine (mino aka mini-minokawa aka editcore) was an editor, and I thought it seemed fun !! I think I got to 60 followers before deleting the blog cause around this time i started using tiktok which demotivated me from basically all my hobbies. it wasn't until about 2023 that i came back to tumblr, and saw that during that time mino had deactivated. I was super sad, and as a way to honor her i started up a new edit blog, that being this one (I changed the blogs original name to edit-corner as a sort of homage). i got real demotivated around january tho, so i stopped editing until june bc of lavendergalactic's editing event !! i had been following them for some time and really really liked their stuff, and i decided an event would be the perfect way to start up this hobby again !!
