The Lonely Shore Devlog #3

Happy Wednesday!

We're so close to 100k I can feel it. Despite having a bit of a rough go at it recently I've been able to get a ton of writing done. Most recently I took a fairly linear scene and decided to split it into two distinct branching paths. It's landed me a lot more work, but I think it'll be much more fun this way.

I've been giving the structure of the first big update a lot of thought, and I'm pretty sure I've settled on a decision. Unless something changes, I'm planning on releasing the first half of chapter one as its own update once it's completely written and edited. This means an update should come sooner rather than later...though I'm not ready to put an exact date on anything quite yet. I'm super excited to share what I've got brewing!

The first half of chapter one will include the MC waking up wherever they chose to stay and interacting with their host, a ~mystery scene~ that includes some spookiness that I'll keep under wraps, and then the MC will get the chance to grab breakfast, meet Beck and Perri, and learn a bit more about the town.

My ultimate goal is to get something published by the end of February--though, once again, nothing is set in stone! I hope everyone's doing well~

Here's my first playlist for 2024, it's not gonna be a monthly thing, just once i have 40 tracks i like, then i will share it.
