No one knows shit about Blackbeard and that's why.

To be honest I don't blame Taika for completely giving up from learning anything about the real Blackbeard and making him his own, new character.He was right, you can't find shit about him.

Was his last name teach? Or maybe it was thetch? Or was it Thatch? Or he made it all up? What was his name? We think it was Edward, but was it? That's what he told other pirates that he TOTALLY trusted.

What did he look like? He was scary as fuck, that's all we know. Oh, and he had black beard.

He was not gay for stede bonnet, but he was helping some lame ass loser for no reason and was taking care of him and his ship when he was injured. Oh, and he probably robbed a whole city looking for a medicine, that was probably for Stede. So maybe he was gay.

Oh and he most probably was born in Bristol. But no one he knows tbh. He had a mother. And he had a father (maybe even a step father)( one of them died, and the other one was killed by Ed, or maybe he wasn't).

He somehow got to the Caribbeans. And became a pirate. But that's all we know, basing on a fanfic some dude that we totally can't trust wrote in the 1700's.

Btw, the "sex scene" was fucking perfect. They probably knew they couldn't top anything from the fan-fictions or headcanons, so just the wall slam, the passionate kiss and then

shirtless Stede closing the curtains while Ed looks at him expectantly and tenderly from the bed, waiting... Just perfect. ♥️🤌

And yeah, given that Ed wanted to take it slow, it was too fast. Stede needed to feel something else after killing a man, and Ed gave in to love and lust (this tiny fucking little nod he gives Stede makes me feral). But I honestly think that Ed needed it anyway, because otherwise his mind would still be clouded with two things. This way he could finally clearly see what else he wanted. And it had been coming a long time... They needed it to blow up once.
