hi hi !! i was wondering if you could maybe make an imagine of snufkin from moominvalley as a caregiver, like tucking a regressor into bed (sry its rly weird lol, u totally dont have to do it)

Ahh not weird at all! Snufkin is such a comfort character of mine and this was a lot of fun to write. I hope you like it ^-^

Cg!Snufkin, little!reader imagine ~

It's been a day of adventure in Moominvalley, as it often is, and the cold evening air is soothing on your skin. Snufkin sits beside you, crafting a tune to mirror the light of the stars on his harmonica.

You sway with the sound letting it surround you like a blanket, and Snufkin turns to face you, a smile tugging at the sides of his instrument.

Easy as anything, the music shifts in nature, and the sound of a familiar lullaby has you pouting in realisation.

"There there, little one," Snufkin's lilting voice hushes, song paused for now. "The day must come to an end eventually for a new one to begin."

He reaches over, soother in his hand like magic, and places it in your mouth. You can feel your shoulders drop almost instantly, eyes going droopy as the day's exhaustion finally catches up with you.

Snufkin uses the opportunity to clear things away for the evening, extinguishing the fire last and quickly making his way beside you as he catches you shiver.

"Come, my little explorer, it's warmer inside."

Gentle as ever, he guides you into the tent. The starlight from outside filters through the mossy walls, casting a green glow on the space that reminds you of sunshine through a tree canopy. Chuckling at your enamoured expression, Snufkin settles you down against soft blankets and pillows that Moominmamma may or may not have added to when she noticed your penchant for feeling small before bed.

Snufkin takes one of the blankets, a colourful, quilted thing, and drapes it across your shoulders.

"There," He says. "Snug as a bug."

You giggle pulling the blanket in tighter around you.

"Now, if I tell you a story, do you promise to try to sleep?" Snufkin asks, raising an eyebrow. You hum an affirmative and he nods, leaning back against the pillows and tucking you in next to him.

"It was a cold night on the lonely mountains..."

And as Snufkin's voice recites stories of long-gone Winters, you feel yourself drifting off to sleep. Carried by melodic words, and ready to dream of great mountains, and starry skies.

In a cozy coffee shop, I sat sipping tea, When in walked Wilbur, a sight to see. He had a certain charm, a twinkle in his eye, And a smile that could light up the sky.

We struck up a conversation, and I confessed, My love for a band that I couldn't forget. He listened intently, his heart afire, As I raved about their melodic desire.

But then he dropped a bombshell, oh so grand, "I'm in that band, I'm the lead man." My jaw dropped, my heart skipped a beat, For I had never expected this sweet treat.

He fell in love with me, oh so fast, Because of my genuine reaction at last. He saw the passion in my eyes, And knew that I was the one who'd make him rise.

So we sat there, in that cozy space, Talking music, love, and endless grace. And as we parted ways, he took my hand, And whispered, "I hope you come see my band."

Your sock size

Women's socks. I don't know. I'm a 7 - 7.5 US Women's shoe. I just go to the sock aisle and buy women's socks. Or, if there are sizes listed, whatever includes my shoe size.

Your thoughts on tea

I like tea very much. I prefer coffee, but once the cold times roll around, I drink almost as much tea as coffee. I prefer black teas and my absolute favorite is Tazo's Awake English Breakfast. As with my coffee, no sugar, only cream.

I'm pretty tolerant to caffeine now, so I actually drink tea in the evenings when I want to calm down! 🤣

But it's lovely when I have sweet things. I like coffee and milk with my baked goods, but there is something nice about a cup of strong tea and cookies for desert. mmmm. cozy.

Also. Coffee goes in my Haunted Mansion mug, but tea goes in my dala horse mug. This is important because the HM mug is black and the dala horse one is white. I like the alchemy of watching the tea steep and prefer to see the color of it as it browns so I know when to take the bag out before it gets too bitter.

I also make mini-pots of loose tea. I am working through a black tea called Grandma's Apple Pie that has dried apples and cinnamon and spices in it. It is my all-time favorite, but the local tea shop that made it went out of business during pandemic and I'm trying to stretch out my last tin.... sigh.

I am in an earring phase at the moment and have a lot of faves. I'm pretty particular because I have high nickel sensitivity.

I get a lot of my best stuff from my favorite local gift shop that deals in local artmakers:

That black one is actually one of a favorite pair but I lost one when I was in Orlando last May 😩 so I pair it with a sword and moon I found at Spirit Halloween.

Speaking of Spirit Halloween, I picked up these shinies...which I will wear year round because that's my jam:

Yes, those are little blood-splattered mirror knives with jewel blood droplets. eeeee

And sometimes I wanna go all elegant like, so here are some of my favorites in my gold section:

Oh! And if I wanna keep it dainty...animal studs!

(Hard to see, but those are gold origami fox heads, rose gold antlers, and silver origami bunnies. I got them at an art sale in Brooklyn.)

And I often troll Etsy for lovely things, like these asymetrical starburst and celestial pairs:

I keep them bundled with a third post because I have a double piercing in my right ear. (There used to be three there, but I let the highest one close.)

But having three spots for earrings means I have room for my absolutely favorite set...I wear Asoka's lightsabers in my right and the Darksaber in my left:

I will never ever get over how high quality these are and I love them so much and can't recommend them enough. (You can find them here...they're sold individually so you can mix and match!)

Tokoyami and his s/o going on a midnight walk (feat. Dark shadow)

Pairing: Tokoyami Fumikage x gn!Reader 

Warnings: None :) just some soft Tokoyami hcs with an added nuzzle from Dark Shadow 🌑❤

🌑 You and Fumi were cuddling in a nest of blankets when he shyly asked if you wanted to go on a nightime walk with him, Quickly explaining that it was so dark shadow could stretch out without breaking something within the house.

🌑 Of course, you, loving your bird boy, agreed with a bright smile. Tokoyami wont tell you, but every time you smile like that, he surpresses a little happy chirp. Dark shadow totally snitches when he isn’t paying attention.

🌑 Tokoyami bundled up in a comfy looking bomber jacket, a soft scarf wrapped around his neck. He then helps you into your coat, making sure you have your fluffy mittens so your hands aren’t cold, and pulls a beanie over your head, despite any little protests that might slip from your lips.

🌑 He may seem passive at times, but Tokoyami will never fail to dote on you like a mama bird, he only wants to make you the happiest you can be.

🌑 After he tripple checked to make sure you were warm enough, you and Fumi walked out the door of your apartment, locking the door and quietly making your way down to the elevators, and towards the front entrance.

🌑 The streets were quiet, Tokoyami spent a lot of his time, patients, and hero-work money on finding a nice place in the city near his agency and in a low crime area. Though, if something did happen, he would be able to handle it just fine.

🌑 As you two went down the street, hand in mitten-covered hand, Tokoyami gave dark shadow permission to roam “free”. Dark shadow flew out of Tokoyami’s back quite enthusiastically, he loved when you two would go on these walks.

🌑 Of course, to prevent dark shadow from taking control of Tokoyami, you all walked along a sidewalk with a fair amount of streetlamps.

🌑 You two happened upon a bench after a while of walking, without asking, you and Tokoyami sat down, huddling close for warmth.

🌑 Small conversation was made between the two of you, mostly about the stars and how bright the cream-colored moon was, but not much had to be said. You two were a quiet couple, the one who made the most noise was probably dark shadow, he kind of acted like the excited puppy of the little family you two created. Besides talk of distant suns, there were little compliments and praises exchanged in between kisses and beak nuzzles. Fumi nipped at your cheek gently before muttering a quiet “I adore you, my dove”.

🌑 Dark shadow butted in before you could respond, the poor thing getting too jealous of his companion getting all the love. Smiling up at him, you motioned for him to float down, resting your mitten on his transparent cheek when he is face to face with you and Tokoyami.

🌑 You nuzzled his ghostly form, giving him the love he desired, your other hand being occupied with Tokoyami’s hand, his head nuzzled into your neck lovingly. Both of your boys, attached at the back, and you couldn’t love them both more than you do now.

🌑 The sweet moment was cut short by a sudden harsh gust of that wind blew in your direction, sending intense shivers down your spine, and causing your nose and cheeks to go red with the cold.

🌑 Tokoyami, being the attentive birdy he is, decided it is time to go back home to the warmth.

🌑 You two rushed home, too jostled by the cold to take your time and enjoy the night sky any longer. Giggling, you ran ahead and scrambled to grab the cold handle of the apartment building’s door and throwing it open for both of you.

🌑 Once in the comfort of your apartment, you two stripped of your extra layers, and, with enough begging, dark shadow was given permission to stay out as long as he promised to behave (really like a puppy, huh).

🌑 You and Tokoyami changed into cozy pjs, before preparing some calming tea and cuddling into your enormous collection of heated blankets, falling asleep together, Dark shadow nuzzled between you two comfortably.

3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?) 

Wednesday usually has a hard time falling asleep so she’ll do pretty much anything if it will help.  Watch vids until she crashes, check.  Read until she can’t keep her eyes open, check.  Cuddle with Pyp, her pyjak, check.  Her favourite thing to do though is to look through all the pictures she’s taken on her omni-tool and re-read old messages from Reyes.

17. Are they easily embarrassed?

Not really.  She’s pretty shameless. 

18. What embarrasses them?

When Scott starts pulling out old stories from when they were kids, or when Jaal takes her to spend time with his family and everyone is so open with their feelings, or when anyone starts talking to her about having kids.

38. What memory do they revisit the most often?

It might not seem like a very exciting memory, but there was this cozy Saturday morning that she and Reyes spent just lazing in bed and talking.  It was so perfect and sweet and it always puts a smile on her face.

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you? 

Yeah I think we would get along pretty well.  Wednesday’s a lot more outgoing than I am and she’d probably get me into trouble, but that might be fun.  Plus our humour is pretty similar.
