Murdering the boss 😂 What'd he do?

He had the fucking audacity to ask me to only apply for part-time jobs and then he would match my hours. He said that knowing full well he can’t even do that right now, and he regularly gives shifts away to other employees whose pay is lower than mine. He thinks I’m too dumb to realize that’s what he’s doing.

I left work an hour early because I was so mad, and a bunch of other shit went wrong, too. I knew if I stayed I would have lost my cool.

So, yes, I contemplated murder.

incapable of keeping my thought to myself atm so have some more headcanons. effie makes an incredible fuss of prim whenever she sees her because she knows how important she is to katniss (and also because she’s cute as a button). she brings toys for buttercup, flower pins for her hair, she listens enraptured every time she speaks. one day katniss walks past a room and sees prim talking animatedly, with a smile so wide, she lurks just the other side of the doorway to eaves drop. ‘and they might try and tell you that you cannot do that because you’re a girl’ she hears effie say ‘but you must not listen to them, girls can do anything boys can do; just look at your sister’. katniss finds this as charming as she finds effie slipping her sister sweets, but effie crucified herself for encouraging prim to train as a healer. she never finds the courage to tell katniss and blames herself for the rest of her life.

❄️: Talk about a unique trait or aspect of your favorite OC. Have they been living rent-free in your brain? It’s time to talk about them!

My favorite OC right now is Jas Lane, and yes, she has been living rent-free in my brain for months. What sets her apart from my other OCs is how unpredictable she is. Jas doesn't have a filter, doesn't think of the consequences, and just jumps headfirst into things. That's very different from the characters I usually create, but it's such a liberating character type to write.

🔥: What type of scene are you most comfortable writing? Emotional, action, dialogue-heavy?

I am the self-proclaimed Queen of Fluff, so obviously fluffy scenes are the ones I'm most comfortable with. Bonus points if the scene has plenty of dialogue, too.

🥶: What’s been the most difficult scene for you to write?

Any scene that contains smut. I get so flustered when I write it I often can't get myself to finish it, which is why I've never posted any. I find action scenes difficult to write, too.

🛷: How has your writing process changed this year? Or are you going to try anything new in your process in 2023?

I think I've been honing my craft this year. For the first time, I have put a lot of thought into my writing style, and really looking at areas where I need to improve. I paid more attention to the editing process and being conscious of word choice. I'm getting comfortable asking people for their opinions and feedback before posting something, which is something I struggle with because of rejection sensitivity. I want to continue to build on these changes next year.
