I had these gba and gbc emulators on my phone so I thought I'd pick up a visual novel for it. Already finished one of the endings in shinpi no sekai el-hazard and it was so fun.
Didn't know it had an anime and only realised that after my friend pointed out the CGs look like anime screenshots lol. The plot was solid and I liked majority of the characters though trying to figure out what the fuck you need to do in chapter 5 was not my favorite.
LOWKEY REGRET GOING FOR RUNE'S ENDING FIRST IDK
Also I saw someone complaining about the translation which I understand but imo it made it more hilarious and I liked how dumb it was sometimes.
( Kikuko Inoue is a prolific voice actress appearing in many many popular series with some of her most notable roles in Ah! My Goddess as Belldandy, Ranma 1/2 as Kasumi, El Hazard as Rune Venus, Sailor Moon as Aluminum Siren, Chobits as Chitose along with roles in FMA, CCS, Inuyasha, precure and many, many more)
Anime recs? Well, there's a LOT of 90s anime with a plot comprised of "The universe gives a dweeb some bitches out of pity." I think you'd really enjoy them. Specifically you.
