ice phoenix and former prince of a destroyed kingdom meant to be a sanctuary for non-human entities (such as mythical and other supernatural beings) that wanted to also eventually welcome humans (long story short: shit happened and this never came to be)

outwardly cold and aloof; inwardly soft and cares quite a bit. gender af and has an air of melancholy to him. he was actually playful and mischievous as a kid...losing everything does that to you

cain

literally Just a Dude (at first). first human to enter the kingdom described above as a trial to see if other humans can be welcomed. winds up falling in love with alex. dies due to the Shit that Happened and becomes the next iteration of death (so not human anymore)

really bitter and cynical as a kid; comes to be a shitposting loser as death down the line. also really hot

remember the part about cain dying? yeah he kinda does that again, sorry- (as for how death dies...that's a long story. dw he does come back in the end!!)

kinda-not-really cain's kid (sorta) and is the next iteration of death after the deities kill cain (time to be determined, as are all my oc-related things). has a...rough and difficult start, but is welcomed after things get settled!

very sweet, doesnt understand the world all that much, but is doing his best! very forgiving, probably hard to make angry (will probably cry over getting mad tbh). also doted on a lot (esp by his older brother figure)

btw if you want to see what they look like, i have a group photo of the oc gang (including a friend's oc and uh. goro akechi SDKGHDSKGSH [who is the older brother figure mentioned above with leon]) as my tumblr header (mobile)! alex is the blue haired boss bitch, cain's the sunglasses-wearing black haired dumb of ass (affectionate), and leon is the beaming baby boy sitting on the sofa arm

We’re all so far from our hometowns. But we’ve gone through so much together, and built a strong, loving bond with each other.

Reno / Irena : relatively responsible and adept, especially with training and physical ability. usually the first one if not Mikaela to turn in paperwork. initially Nikola was skeptical about him being a mercenary and all, but upon seeing his dedication and skill she let him join the Knights. he plants a lot of flowers and even has a small garden in Ereve. Nikola also enjoys drinking tea with him

Mikaela / Mihile : has a very strong loyalty and devotion to the Emperor. always gets work done, typically the one who stays up with Nikola at ungodly hours to finish papers together. at first Nikola couldnt see the potential that Cepheus claimed Mikaela to have, but she was indeed proven wrong when she turned out to be the most devoted Knight. gets one of the highest pays out of the others

Echo / Eckhart : very quiet and sometimes hard to read , though Nikola knows she’s probably thinking about sleeping or work-related issues. actually very loyal to Cepheus despite not saying many words about it. Nikola and Echo’s meeting was quite wild, and not many people know how their first encounter went except the Knights and Emperor. constantly steals and eats Hawkeye’s cakes

Ozwald / Oz : has a contagious smile and energy. he’s caught up with trends and unfortunately tends to go along with Hawkeye’s weird shenanigans, but does get work done. has a positive attitude no matter what the situation is, giving Nikola just a tiny bit of hope. like some other Knights, Nikola underestimated and doubted Oz but stood corrected in the end. he is very good friends with Cepheus, often taking him out to eat sweets or play with tinos

Hawkeye : very wild and rowdy, and her occasional irresponsibility makes Nikola sometimes question if she’s taking her position seriously. even so, she gets most work done, and a large percentage of her students pass her class and exceed standards. during their first meeting, even Cepheus had second thoughts about Hawkeye but she did prove to be very capable and loyal to their cause. half of her paycheck is for cooking and baking supplies for some odd reason

Omg I actually think they were both somewhat nervous on their first official date. At that point they’d gone on casual coffee dates before, but somewhere between then and their first date they both realized they were in love with each other. Cue Ludwig’s heart stopping when he sees Francis in a handsome suit, and Francis’ face flushing everytime Ludwig smiles or laughs.

Uhh, if I’m going to pick just one, it’s the color red. I don’t think there’s a particular reason? It’s just been my favorite color for as long as I can remember.

I don’t play often these days because of work but it’s probably Touken Ranbu. XD

3. Who would you not want to be stuck in an elevator with?

I don’t want to mention real life people so let’s use BSD characters. I don’t want to be stuck in an elevator with Alexander Pushkin. XDD

Ahh, yes, I do draw and write. And I sing but unfortunately can’t play any instruments. I like to play badminton, maybe volleyball too, but there hasn’t been an opportunity to do so recently.

Math.

Everything from Kajiura Yuki.

7. Last time you slept?

Uhh... half a day ago. A quick nap in public transportation, in the middle of traffic.

90% of my songs are fandom music (a better sounding term for anime/movie music), my gallery is populated with fanart, and why do I think I chose my (way more socially acceptable looking and convenient due to privacy reasons) doggo instead of me? C’me here you hug-needing person.

I would like to be a criminal lawyer, forensics investigator or as a paediatrics doctor working in a terminally ill ward for kids. 2. Pick your favourite book(s) and short explanations as to why. George Orwell’s short story Lamb to the Slaughter.  Its really crude, vile, and truly represents the selfishness of us humans and how delusional we can be. George Orwell’s 1984 I remember there were people comparing this to trump and what not about ‘ooh George Orwell predicted the future’  I think the book is really thought provoking and George Orwell wrote it beautifully, writing about what it is to be like living in a dystopian future and it takes a lot because in the time when he wrote it people usually thought about very how do you say it... unrealistic?  3. What is your favourite genre of music? Why? If I have to choose one it will have to be Classical. I love how mellow it is. How smooth it is. Pop songs have lyrics that you can hear to understand how deep it is. But with classical, you can feel the emotion instead of it being said to you. It gives off a nice feel I guess. 4. What are important qualities you look for in friends? No possessiveness. Please. I’ve had my share of possessive people in the past and it's really horrible. I didn’t have control of my own life. They will constantly guilt trip you and make you do what they want for them. They want to constantly know what you are doing in your life and when you reject them they go crazy but YOU DONT YOU CANT you CANT reject them.  Philosophical, insightful, existentialist  I love to talk about these at times when I'm feeling it. Talking about it for miles and miles. And because of these, i think it makes them wiser.  5. What would be your ideal day? lying down on a mattress with a room that's painted like space. With my favourite podcast playing beside me.  6. Would you rather spend your day with a large group of people or a small one? small one, large groups attract too much attention and talking to that many people is emotionally draining.

7. If for one day, you could do anything at all, not restricted by laws nor physics, nor space time reality or general logic, what would you spend your day doing? I would love to float in space talking to space probes about football of the future ;^) 8. What type of person do you think you are?

 I try to understand the situation and don’t jump to conclusions. I don’t find myself to be hypocritical but I can be an asshole if you push the wrong buttons. Oh yeah, I’m also a huge crybaby :V 9. If you could gain any talent in the world, what would it be? being hardworking there's a Chinese saying that goes “Learning leads you to the mountain of knowledge, but hard work leads you to the endless ocean of learning.” 10. If you could lose a certain aspect of yourself, whether it be in terms of appearance, behavior or mentality, what aspect would you choose and why? Laziness. I cannot reach my goals like that. 11. If you could sacrifice all your happiness for someone else you know, would you? No. I wouldn't. If the person I know is an asshole who I want to make them suffer. But even if it was for a person i know, I’ll only give them a fraction. To cut it short. No. I’m a selfish human, my happiness is above all! c: ((il prolly make the questions later on so eh))
