@rachalixie - a sun and a moon,, this fic reminds me of anny because of the way minho takes care of reader in it, just the quiet comfort of being next to them and reminding them that, while things might not get better now, they will eventually. i get the same comforting aura from anny in their replies to their asks/the comfort fics they write, very gentle and reassuring!!!

renjun (yellowCard) : he doesn't needs a backup, he's going to NU >:( ; yeah he only watches 2000 romcoms or barbie movies and nothing in between and elle woods influenced him so much so that he chose law as his major and is now in his second year(no he didn't follow his ex to the uni!!/srs). has known mark since high school. claims to be good at debates, but no one knows if it's true. is the mom friend and is overprotective of his children. made hyuck take english literature as an elective course just to make sure mark doesn't sleep through his classes. very loving, very appreciative in general and knows sailor's music but doesn't like how his friend focuses his energy more on defending someone, who probably has her company to deal with everything, online - instead of talking to actual people irl.

jaemin (imaej) : used to accompany mark to sailor pift's concert in their freshmen year, and that's how he became a fan(he's what twitter stans call a ✨casual stan✨). made his twitter account only to drag mark on the tl but ended up advertising his photography skills. pretended to be Mark's lawyer in front of his English professor to get him out of detention back in high school and that's when he decided he should do law and con people (haha /j haha unless ☺️).

hyuck (fullsums) : has known mark ever since elementary school. is the biggest barbie : life in a dreamhouse enthusiast. majoring in business studies from NU!! has turned his major into his entire personality. was a literature kid back in high school, and everyone expected him to either choose literature OR environmental studies but shocked everyone by choosing business. was really happy when renjun asked him if he could choose literature as an elective to make sure mark doesn't doses off during lectures, but shh!! everyone believes renjun made him decide on his elective, and he lets it remain that way.

yangyang (yangsquared) : met renjun in his freshman year of college through a mutual friend, and since then, renjun, mark, hyuck, and jaemin have been his ride or die. is a film major in NU!! can and WILL use the actual conversation between his friends in his scripts. mean girls enthusiast, his favorite was gretchen because she was so fetch!! is y/n's distant cousin, but they don't meet up often because of very different majors, which is why his friends have no idea that he's related to you in any way.

Ok im a teeensy bit late to Heartstopper s2 coming out (no pun intended) but i just binged the whole thing and Wow.

After s1 last year I had really high expectations for season two and it did NOT disappoint

I tried not to keep it too spoilery lol ⬇️

First of all the recap was really enjoyable with all the cast members and i watched the whole thing even though i was all caught up. Usually recaps are just a bunch of important scenes from the last season but i really liked what they did!

After last season i really did want to see more of the side characters, Issac in particular. I feel like season 1 mostly focused of the relationship between Nick and Charlie but season 2 had all these side storylines that gave so much more depth to the side characters.

One of my favourites was Imogen getting explored more with her friendship with Nick and her relationship with Ben. In season 1 i didnt really care for her, but now i think she's definitely one of my top three characters, the others being Elle and Darcy

And can we talk about Darcy?? The ending of episode 9 and throughout 10 they showed how her relationship with her mum was.

I think it was really important to show that because Heartstopper is a show about queerness, and while i love that all if not most of the other characters have supportive parents, it's important to show that not every queer experience has that. I didn't, and i really empathized with Darcy right then.

Another thing about Darcy, the birthday present she gave Tara was actually iconic. Love that for her <3

And Charlie's parents make an appearance

Charlie's parents' reaction to him telling them about Nick was kind of surprising tbh, i thought they'd be more happy for him.

Im so glad his family got to meet Nick's, and that scene where Nick told off his dad really just. Hit in the heart. He really doesn't give a fuck anymore and that's amazing.

It was also really satisfying to see Tori kick David for saying that stuff about Charlie lol

I loved the scene of Tara's birthday. It just felt really fun. And Nick gathering the courage to come out to everyone!! It got a bit awkward, but I'm really proud of him for that <3

Elle and Tao have happened!! I really loved seeing Elle so happy and successful, getting accepted to Lambert. When she came out in her prom dress she looked so pretty i just wanted to go into the screen and hug her. It's just so liberating to see another trans person so happy. My dysphoria's been really bad lately, mostly because of me being sent to a religious school. It's comforting to know i might be her one day. Seeing trans rep on screen is just. Fuck i love her sm.

That last scene had me crying actual tears. I don't wanna say too much bc im trying not to spoil too much!! But wow. That hit so much harder than any seasin finale ive seen before, except maybe The Good Place. Im so happy to see Charlie overcome all his past traumas and be so happy. Because I used to do that too. And i can really resonate with Charlie, because I also got past that. And those last few frames dude??? Fuck. Yes. I've come to love Charlie so much. And i just. Yeah.

I could go on abt Heartstopper forever lol. I hope s2 hits the media as hard as s1 did. And season 3 is official!!! September 2024, only a year from now. The actors have done amazing, and im so looking forward to s3!!!

• this is perhaps the one sinful pairing shaggy supports, thanks to he and ell bonding through their mutual suffering. in fact they bond so much that elliot makes shaggy her man of honor!

• scarlet is 100000% thrilled about elliot and lyra getting married! she is less thrilled that john is around (somehow - she's not really sure where he fits into this, quite). this is also because scarlet has never spent more than maybe an hour in lyra's presence, and this is on purpose. she is determined to make sure they have the most beautiful wedding and will spare not a single cent.

• it's a gigantic ceremony. like, gigantic. every single woman scarlet is frenemies with down in weyfield is invited so they can see how beautiful her daughter and daughter-in-law are (and how elaborate the wedding is).

• ell asks lyra a minimum of 25 times the day before if she just wants to elope? doesn't that seem better? wouldn't she just....rather.....elope? alas, they go through with the ceremony (which is lovely) and scarlet is completed toasted for the ENTIRE duration.

• i think i'd actually like to put ell in a suit. maybe a blush-pink suit. hair up in a pony. i imagine lyra would want something a bit more elaborate than her usual garb BUT still well within her usual taste!

🗡️ TWO AND A HALF VAMPIRES: lavinia x astraia x serana

• there's no initial ceremony. it's just determined one day by astraia that both serana and liv are her wives. this goes unmentioned for an extremely long time in which she does not run this by liv NOR serana, because she never introduces herself or them to people except on a rare occasion.

• when they DO realize that astraia has been introducing them as her wives, they decide that they have to do SOMETHING. there has to be SOME kind of ceremony. astraia hates this. bureaucracy? pomp and circumstance? it's not her Style(TM)

• however, she does not put up a fuss when serana and liv decide to get wedding bands made and their "ceremony" is taking a fortnight off of doing jobs. okay, maybe she fusses a little bit. but straia is secretly pleased with the idea of picking out bands for her girls, and spends hours agonizing over the designs.

• in the week that they spend not doing jobs, they spend most of it in the volos family estate in solitude. in fact, astraia probably looks like she's not enjoying herself at all, until she cracks a smile one (1) time in the morning when she gets to wake up with her smoking hot wives.

• astraia offers to let them legally change their last name to volos if they want. she does not ask her parents if this is alright. in fact, she doesn't tell them anything! at all! there is a pile of letters from them sitting unanswered. she uses them as kindling to light the fire when she painstakingly prepares a Wedding Breakfast for her girls 💘
