Le mie aspettative per Blue Bettle erano pari a zero ma devo dire che mi ha sorpreso totalmente. Mi ha fatto ridere,mi ha fatto piangere parecchio,mi sono piacute le scene d'azione anche se non sono state tantissime. Sinceramente non conoscevo questo personaggio DC ma devo dire che il film è fatto davvero bene ed è davvero piacevole. I personaggi sono azzeccatissssimi e credetemi li amerete tanto quanto li ho amati io. Per dire ho preferito centomila volte questo a Flash per il quale avevo un aspettativa enorme vista l'attesa. Comunque ve lo straconsiglio. Voi lo avete visto? Che ne pensate?

Esta es una de esas películas que mientras más se añeja, mejor se pone y nunca cansa ante la vista. #ArnoldSchwarzenegger tenía 40 años de edad cuando protagonizó en el 1987 #Predator , film dirigido por #JohnMcTiernan que marcó tendencias en el cine de acción y ciencia ficción. El film estuvo nominado al Oscar como Mejores Efectos Visuales y contó con una composición musical de #AlanSilvestri que aún hoy día es de las originales creaciones más impactantes. #kevinPeterHall hizo el papel del #Predator y del piloto del helicóptero después de que #jeanclaudevandamme rechazó el papel por diferencias creativas y porque el traje era muy pesado. Este film originó 3 secuelas y una actualmente en filmación ( #thepredator) , así como 2 spin-offs junto a la criatura de #Alien . Este film repleto de testosteronas y adrenalina, fue co-protagonizado por #carlweathers #BillDuke #JesseVentura #elpidiacarrillo #SonnyLandham #RichardChavez y #ShaneBlack , este último actualmente director de la secuela en filmación. Este clásico se hizo con US$15 millones y recaudó en todo el mundo $98.2 millones, aunque su principal valor es su calidad en realización, concebida para un film de acción veraniego, pero que se convirtió en uno de los favoritos de culto. Es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos.

With the writer’s and actors strike going on, it makes me sad that with Blue beetle coming out this month, Angel Manuel Soto (the director), Xolo Maridueña, and the rest of the entire cast of Blue beetle won’t be able to promote or see the success of the movie if it does well. What I mean by this is because this is the first superhero movie to not only have a predominately Latino and Indigenous cast (minus Susan Sarandon), but the movie also has Angel Manuel Soto who is taking the lead as the director, and also Xolo Maridueña who is going to be the first Latin American actor to be the first Latino actor to be the lead in a live action superhero movie and even be centered on the promotional pictures for once. (Yes, I’m aware that Miles morales was the first Latin American superhero to be the lead in a superhero movie and to be on a poster, but Into the Spiderverse is animation and Blue beetle is live action and in live action superhero movies, Latin American people have been stereotyped which is a conversation for another day).

Anyway, as someone who is a huge advocate for Latin American representation and a comic book fan, I hope that the people in my community show up for blue beetle just like we did for Black panther 2. Support the actors and writers during this strike and let’s hope they all reach a fair deal and the studio CEO’s realize that they should pay their writer’s and actors, and they don’t have to rely on AI anymore. 🙏🏽🇲🇽🤎
