you may have heard, notices that look like this are going out across government agencies

please spam DEIAtruth@opm.gov with as much nonsense as you can find, if you don’t feel safe doing that yourself feel free to reply to this post with suggestions of who send you the most frequent spam

if they’re putting a ten day time limit on ratting out your colleagues, filling that inbox with junk I think genuinely could really make that hard for them and is worth the (very minor) effort

Teenage me used to write exclusively in my email (unhinged behavior tbh) because it had a good search system and also because I was sending my writing to friends.

Anyways, I’ve been trying to archive these hundreds of emails into a Scrivener file because I don’t trust my email at all. It’s been slow going because I keep getting distracted by reading them. And rereading these has been a TRIP.

I fucking hate multifactor authentication.Not only am i now obliged to have a smartphone nearby at all times when working, which is distracting,but now the damn thing broke and i can neither login nor register a new device under my account because the link will be sent to my smartphone...which is broken.Fucking useless.

also is it just me or is tying access to basic services to a single fairly fragile device in our age of planned obsolescence fucking stupid?

all i want is to check my schedule and where i need to be on Monday.

silly thought but maybe to prevent you from getting overwhelmed, perhaps you could have someone else help you organize the mailbox and filter unwanted content.
