Pssst! You! Yeah you! Do you want an OC or just a straight up Cameo in my webcomic?
Well look no further! Because we’re doing BLIMPS AWAY!!AIRSHIP SERVICES OC AND READER CAMEOS!!!
So essentially this idea came to me when I decided that I didn’t want to make up a gazillian designs for backround characters, and figured, Hey! It’s a good cameo opportunity!!

So essentially here’s what I do; I’ll section it into parts.
OC CAMEOS
OC cameos will go on the Blimps Away!!Walls of shame!! In the form of BANNED posters! Your OC gets LITERALLY BANNED FROM A FICTIONAL AIRSHIP AND AIRBUSSING COMPANY!!
Now, some guidelines.
So due to the nature of the lore, I ask for human Oc’s or Oc’s that look like only! You should submit the OC to me through one of the previous contacts I listed!
You should provide:
-A refrence photo of your little guy (Include colour swatches please!!)
-A name for them in case I have to zoom in on the BA!!AS wall of shame
-And (optional) why they got banned!!
If I do add your OC to a future panel of the comic, I will do my very best to reply and let you know!! NOTE THAT ALL OCS SHOULD BE SFW!!
READER CAMEOS
These ones are VERRRY similar to OC cameos! However, you, the reader, would appear in a crowd scene! Some people might even get a one off line! That bits only a maybe though.
Anyways! For this, in place of an oc reference sheet, I ask for one of the below methods in submitting your very own cameo:
NOTE - My one rule is that your cameo character MUST be a human or at least look like a human!!Again, same reason as I ask for OC’s to look like humans, it’s lore reasons! I also ask for colour swatches if you submit a reference drawing!

How i built a private client space with sitenear.
As a freelance graphic designer, I’ve always wanted to create a special, invite-only website just for my clients and professional connections. I wanted a place where I could share custom designs, get feedback, and offer exclusive resources without sending endless emails or using complicated sharing tools.
The problem? I'm a designer, not a web developer. I spent forever searching for something that was easy to use but still looked professional. Most platforms were either too technical or too basic for what I needed.
Then I found sitenear.com—and wow, what a game-changer! It gave me exactly what I needed: a simple way to build a professional-looking client space without any coding. What once seemed impossible suddenly became doable in just a few hours.
Now I have a sleek, professional online space where my clients can access their designs, and get exclusive resources. If you're also struggling to create something similar, let me walk you through how SiteNear helped me build my dream client portal.
Step 1: Setting Up My Client Portal
Getting started was super easy. After signing up with my email, I was ready to create my site.
I simply clicked the “+” (Add Site) button in the top right corner :
Then I filled in a few basic details :
Site Name : “Exclusive Design Hub by Hitesh M” . Description : A brief explanation of what my site offers. Select Site Location : I selected the location for my business so clients can find me on the map using the site locator.
Step 2: Making It My Own
I just created a space where my clients can get :
- Access to premium materials they can’t find elsewhere - Special promotions and limited-time offers - Priority booking for urgent projects - Direct communication with me
What I love most about SiteNear is how flexible it is. The sections are represented as categories or features. You can organize your site however you want using categories and features—no tech skills needed! There is no learning curve—anyone can use it instantly.
2.1 Creating My "Specials" Section
As a graphic designer, I rename the "Features" tab as "Specials" to better showcase what I offer. You can name yours whatever makes sense for your business.
In my Specials section, I highlight :
Limited-Time Discounts & Promotions - Exclusive deals just for members Premium Materials & Resources - Design assets and templates not available elsewhere Priority Access & VIP Services - Faster turnaround and dedicated support
Adding these was simple :
Click on the "Specials" tab
Click "Add New Item".
Enter a title, e.g.“Limited-Time Discounts & Promotions” and description.
Click "Submit"
2.2 Organizing with Categories
To help clients find what they need quickly, I created clear categories :
Graphic Design Services - Resources, tools, and templates for stunning visuals Website Design Services - Strategies and assets for building engaging sites Visual Identity & Branding - Logos, guidelines, and marketing materials
Creating categories is just as easy :
Click on the "Categories" section
Select "Add New Category"
Enter your category name and description
Click "Submit"
The updates are visible to clients automatically when I add new content, ensuring they never miss out on new resources or opportunities.
2.3 Adding Content to Categories
Inside each category, I can add specific resources.
Open the category
Click "Add New Item"
Add content like design templates, branding guides, or project timelines
Click "Submit"
Step 3. Inviting My Clients
The final step was inviting my clients to this private space.
As long as I don't "launch" the site, it stays private and only accessible to people I invite. This is perfect for a client portal!
3.1 Adding Client One by One
Go to "Access Control" in the Site Menu
Enter a client's email or phone number
Click "Search"
4. Review the results and click Discard to remove any that aren't my clients. 5. Click "Add All to Site"
3.2 Uploading Users in Bulk
I could also upload multiple users at once. Click "Upload Users" to select a spreadsheet with their contact details and import them into the system.
Once added, Clients can instantly access all the premium resources I’ve created for them! ✅ Now, any update I made on the Exclusive Design Hub website will be visible to them in no time.

Foundry Fabrications Has a New Home!
Hey folks! I am incredibly excited to announce the launch of something I’ve been working on the last couple of weeks: Foundry Fabrications now has a dedicated website!
For a long time, I’ve wanted a place away from Tumblr that I can call my own, where I can make all of my content easily accessible for everyone, and that can grow and change alongside me. A long time ago, I tried something like that, but it didn’t go well for a multitude of reason. Mistakes were made during that transition that I don’t intend to make again.
The new site will now be my main base of operations going forward, but I’m not going to outright abandon Tumblr like I did before, and Patreon isn’t going anywhere either. As some of you maybe saw, I have the new site set up to automatically send new posts here when I post them, so you’ll all still be kept in the loop should you decide to just stay here and not engage with it, which is totally understandable. And I still plan to check in every once in a while and make posts that are relevant to the platform should I need or want to, as well as respond to comments or questions when they happen.
Speaking of being kept in the loop, something the new site allows me to do is newsletters. Anyone who subscribes to it (which is free) will be notified by email when something new goes live. Eventually down the line I’d like to add more too it like TTRPG news or other content I want to shout out, stuff like that.
The site itself right now is nothing fancy, though I put a lot of work into making it as professional and user-friendly as I can. I’ve no experience in web design and a lot of it was existing templates I tweaked to suit my needs, as I do, so whether I accomplished that is up to y’all. The main goal was to make it easy to find a piece of content one might be looking for, or easily browse everything to see what I’ve made thus far, and that was easy do to with automatic categorization and a search function. It’s basic, but it works.
Because God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished, I have a lot of plans for ways to upgrade the site with new features, various integrations, and ways to monetize my work. Gotta keep the lights and pay for the domain and service somehow. Initially, that means ads, but I’ll be looking into ways to remove them for regular supporters and I bet most of you use adblockers anyway, which I totally get, no judgement here.
