1) Apollo would SLAUGHTER everybody on this poll because He Is The Queer Rep and

2) Nico is very very popular and the poll would be rigged if I put him in, giving him a very unfair advantage over Every Other Very Very Good Queer Rep we have here.

Also, I understand Will Solace is Bisexual in TSATS- however, in as few words as possible, there are so many retcons in TSATS that contradicted canon, so I do not see TSATS as canon. Reasons why are a whole essay that I do not want to write.

Because of this, I still see Will as Gay, as do many others in this fandom. There is absolutely no disrespect intended from this-remember, this is a fictional book series about fictional characters. We are allowed to interpret characters in different ways, and I just so happen to interpret Will as Gay.

Please do not get upset over this, all character interpretations are just as valid as yours. Thank you.

Leo calling Jo mom is just so special. Like this is a boy who adored his mother more than anything and then lost her at young age, completely believing it was his fault entirely. Since then he’d pretty much swore off the idea of family, running away from each and every foster home due to his horrible experiences and never expressing his true feelings to even his closest friends because he just felt so worthless that the only way he could contribute to the group was by sacrificing himself because he, as a person, was not good enough to just simply be wanted and loved. Then he felt comfortable enough to just call Jo mom in passing?? Sobbing

MORE VAMPIRE AU: Meg is a regular human child who Apollo is certain has got to be a werewolf but no she’s just Like That but hey now she’s got friends!! Nero bullied her into collecting blood for him WHICH IS SO HORRIBLE AND NOT TRAUMATISING AT ALLLLL (this is a serious point of conflict between Meg and Apollo. The fact that he needs blood and she at first is like “yeah of course I completely get it (in the same way Nero manipulated her into thinking collecting blood for him is necessary)” and then is like “actually um this makes me really really nervous. Because that was a Bad Thing and this thing reminds me of That Thing and now I don’t know what’s right at all and it’s really scary.”) Commodus ends up as part of Nero’s (actually Python’s but shhhhh) vampire gang and he does Not want to be there but he’d rather go back to Apollo than admit that he’d rather be with Apollo than be here. He’s very VERY in denial.

Emmie was dying when Apollo found her and he decided to turn her into a vampire out of love and respect for Rhoeo. Then she joined Artemis’ were gang and looks SUPER funky as she’s now both vampire and a were-thing. Then one day she met Jo (ran away from an actual gang, in hiding as a mechanic now) who fell in love with her on account of her being Super Weird and Emmie decided to leave everything to live with Jo. Given the closeness usually held between vampires and the vampires they turn, Apollo is salty that Emmie just Left. But is trying to logic himself with knowing that he would have loved to do the same a long time ago. This salt quickly crumbles when he sees how happy she is with her wife and is revealed (to himself, everyone already knew) to just be his gnawing jealousy.

I think one of the reasons Meg's actually allowed to act like a child while other characters her age from the other rrverse series weren't as much is because ToA has a lot more important adult characters than the previous series did.

Because of the massive age gap between Apollo and Meg, Meg doesn't have to act like a grown up. Although he's a dumbass and Meg's servant, Apollo is still the adult of the duo and takes most "grown up" responsibilities away from Meg, as well as just being there to support her and giving her a shoulder to cry on. Emmie and Jo are two important characters who take in and protect kids. Luguselwa is a mother figure to Meg and her siblings. Piper's dad is the one to comfort her after the Burning Maze incident. Dionysus even helps the campers (at least Nico's) mental health for once. It makes sense to have a lot of good older characters in the books to contrast with the terrible parental figures, like Nero and Zeus, and show that there are adults who the kids can rely on. This isn't even mentioning Sally and Paul who we already knew were amazing

And then after we’ve cried over “say hello to the sun and stars for me” he hits us with an entire series about people breaking out of the narrative where the protagonist is the god of prophecy.

Can we take a moment and appreciate how Jo and Emmie in TOA foster Leo after losing his family so many times due to being a demigod is just *chiefs kiss* best found family trope.

Cuz not only is Jo a professional mechanic witch leo can relate too and bond with, Emmie is kind and treats him with such love that Leo deserves, Lityerses too. And I will always always ALWAYS claim til this day him and lit are brothers and lit feels so bad for what he had done in the past and helps leo mourn over Jason (telling him how he stabbed commodus and trying his best to be there for leo)

RRVerse Fandom, Please Hear Me Out...

Message to the wider Riordanverse fandom:

Please correctly tag your fanfics with the correct fandom tags.

I am getting tired of seeing non-Apollo fics cluttering up the Trials of Apollo tag (such as Percy/Annabeth. like. what. they're barely in ToA. why are they there.). If your fanfic does not deal with Apollo, Meg McCaffrey, or the story of ToA or the consequences of it, please do not tag it as such.

I have seen fics tagged as ToA and not even have the MC, Apollo, tagged as part of the cast. So please. I am begging you. Please stop. You have the Percy Jackson & the Olympians - All Media Types, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, AND The Heroes of Olympus tags.

Solangelo writers, you now have the Sun and the Star tag, as well as the All Media Types one. Unless it happens during or alongside something to do with Apollo & his story, please refrain from tagging it as ToA.

And no. I do not think just being Solangelo should qualify all Solangelo fics to be tagged as ToA. If anything, they should be The Sun and The Star tag or even The Heroes of Olympus tag because that's when it all began! However, if, say, it's during The Hidden Oracle or takes place in the ToA timeframe then sure! ToA tag it!

But if it's just like an AU or something that only focuses on Solangelo? Then please don't. It's not ToA then.

This is what the ToA tag looks like btw:

I know, Nico, Will, and Percy are all popular characters, but COME ON. This is Apollo's tag, please give him this! It's so hard to find fics I want to read because it's so cluttered! Apollo's not even in the top three most-tagged characters in his own fandom tag.😒

And look at the gap between the number of fics Apollo's in compared to Percy! A 354 gap! And there's 1,616 gap between Apollo and Nico! And I can say with certainty that not all of those fics Percy - and even Nico and Will - are in are related to ToA.

Meg McCaffrey, the second MC of the series, is not even on the board. And she's a very close second MC.

And trust me. I know a bunch of these fics have nothing to do with ToA. I have scoured the tag many times and have figured that out.

So please, please, please leave The Trials of Apollo tag be unless you are writing for The Trials of Apollo. We are our own fandom and frankly, it's getting annoying having to shuffle through a bunch of fics that have nothing to do with ToA just to find ones we want to read.

Fic authors, it would be such a big help if you could remove the ToA tag from your fic if it doesn't have anything to do with ToA. I know you want your fic to be seen, and use a bunch of tags to do so, but this really inconveniences the ToA fans who just want to read about our favorite loser god and his gremlin adopted sister. ☹️

I actually don’t think the one of Jo and emmie is bad I just couldn’t be bothered finishing it. Also been practicing shapes and colours in character design and applied it to my favourite duos. Idk I think they work.

Leo stood in front of his burnt house in despair. He spent months building it and now it's in complete ashes. There was nothing left - he checked - because of the stupid Chimera attack. He could try to rebuild it but that would take more time, more energy on a house he's wanted since forever. Another few years collecting the money for the same materials as before to rebuild it. Another few years... Hasn't he waited enough? Hasn't he worked hard enough?

Isn't it obvious? Haven't you learned by now? You'll never be enough. Everything and everyone you love will always leave. He sobbed, not bothering to stop himself. It felt pointless to try again. He worked so hard for nothing. Everything he does always amounts to nothing if he's not sacrificing himself. It only works if it's for someone else.

He fell to his knees crying into his hands. He thought of telling someone but remembered he had no one. He ran away after everything. Calypso broke up with him, Jason was dead, everyone else ignored him completely or didn't know how to handle him. He wanted to start a new life. He knew he was better off alone, that Nemesis was right. He was alone and he always will be. No matter how much he missed Piper. And Hazel. And Frank and Nico and Annabeth and Percy and Reyna and Jo and Emmi... But reminded himself of what Nemesis said every time he feels that way.

When he stopped crying the moon was out and, remembering his bed was gone, just fell asleep right there.

"Leo?" Thalia asked and the boy groaned.

"Oh my Gods, it is you!" She yelled and he sat up rubbing his eyes. When his vision cleared he groaned again, this time in exasperation. Of course.

"What the hell?! Where have you been?! We've been looking everywhere for you!" She yelled pointing and accusatory finger at him. He just pushed it away and glared.

"Obviously not, since it took you this long to find me." He said and she scoffed. "Gods, I forgot how selfish you were. You run off without telling anyone, and when we find you your only thinking about your dam self!"

"Maybe I'm not and you only think that because you're mad at me. For some reason, I don't know why you even care. Piper, Hazel, Nico, and the rest understandable, but you? We were never close."

"Doesn't mean I don't care." Leo laughed out loud.

"Yeah, right. I was weird back then, your attitude back then was understandable, I don't care if you like me or not." Thalia sighed her expression softening.

"Leo, if anyone understands being a runaway, it's me. Whether you ran away because you were scared, or because you felt alone, or thought you didn't belong there, we looked because we care. Even if you don't believe it." Leo sat there pondering her words. Then he glared.

"CPS says the same thing. 'We wanna help' and they never do." He said. He took a breath. "You shouldn't be worried. I'm fine. I'm an adult, I can take care of myself."

"You're 19."

"Legally, an adult. I have a job, looking for a house-"

"Yeah, sleeping on grass by a giant pile of ash is totally normal for a house."

"I'm not trying to convince you to come back. I joined The Huntress' for a reason, but just... visit? Piper really misses you."

"And as soon as she sees me again, I'm dead."

Thalia snickered. "Probably." Leo smiled at the thought.

"Just... think about it? At least?" She asked and he didn't answer before she left. He looked back at the pile of ash that was his house and sighed.

And its great that Leo found a home after so long.

But I always think...

What about Harley?

Harley worked so hard to get his brother back, and then when Leo comes back he just leaves and finds a new family?

Imagine how heartbroken he is

So I dislike the fact that Leo leaves camp to go live at the WayStation.

And im not even going to get into Caleo
