if I could’ve added one gravity falls episode, I’d of added a house of leaves one. It would’ve worked so good. I’ve said this before.

I know the target audience wouldn’t understand it, but like 10 years later, amphibia got to have a Midsommar episode. So I see no reason why Gravity Falls shouldn’t’ve Gotten a House of Leaves episode.

here is my concept.

(2nd half of season 1)

Dipper got lost going to the bathroom. He swears to Mabel that the bathroom moved. Mabel isn’t sure, but she sure has noticed that the Shack is weird. So Dipper and Mabel set out to make a map of the mystery shack (classic Boredom activity. Mabel adds glitter).

that’s when dipper notices it. The Quarter Inch. The mystery shack is a quarter inch bigger inside than it is outside. This drives dipper insane. He and Mabel take it to Stan. Stan doesn’t care — it’s not enough for the Tourists to notice. So dipper and Mabel bring Soos and Wendy along to investigate themselves.

they eventually realise that the shack seems to have generated an extra room. Soos makes a joke about it being his new break room. It’s a dark dark hallway, that goes much farther than reasonable.

Stan sees this as the perfect new Tourist Attraction. The 16 minute hallway! However, he bans Dipper and Mabel from it (he is scared it might reveal the basement). Dipper is FUMING. Mabel thinks the hallway is creepy anyway, but when dipper decides that he is going to explore it in the middle of the night, of COURSE she joins him! So they sneak in (with Waddles), get lost. Of course, Stan doesn’t notice for a while (sleep deprivation).

the twins go through horror shenanigans, walking down a staircase, until they discover that the hallway shifting house is actually a result of these strange magic creatures. Likr shoe elves, but for houses. They’ve infested the mystery shack and are constantly rebuilding the different hallways. That endless hallway? It’s cus they’ve been building it out as people explored it. Also they’re REALLY ugly. Like SUPER ugly. Like something ran them over and gave them rabies.

Mabel convinced the ugly elves to move out of the shack and make escape rooms instead. Cue montage of dipper and Mabel helping these ugly little guys to set up a legal business in gravity falls. The escape room is a hit! And all of the weird mystery shack shape shifting is reverted back to normal, just as Stan is about to show the hallway to the tourists.

Stan crashes out at the disappearing hallway. The tourists demand refunds. Stan runs off with their money.

dipper and Mabel return home, and Mabel decides to actually measure out the shack.

somehow though, it’s still a quarter inch bigger on the inside…

She tears up the map, declaring that Maths is stupid anyway!

So for fun I’ve been coming up with Classic episode ideas that (when I have the time) I’ll try to write out in full as actual scripts to experiment with style and improve my writing!

So far I have four episodes:

The Hightail and the Thunderbird -

A former air force buddy of Scott’s put himself in mortal peril as he pushes an experimental craft to the limit to prove once and for all who is faster.

Lady Penelope is forced out of her comfort zone when she must pretend to be a renowned scientist to investigate mysterious deaths in the Swiss alps.

When a police chase ends in disaster, International Rescue is called in to save the day - but as details unfold from those involved, a question arises: who is to blame for the destruction?

Hair's breadth from death -

When Jeff Tracy is captured by The Hood, it’s a race against time to find him as International Rescue is faced with an ultimatum - surrender the Thunderbirds, or their father’s life?

SMILING CRITTERS SHOW CONCEPT EPISODE #4 IS DOGGONE CRAZY! There's a lot to unpack here...!

This one is more of like an experiment I wanted to do focusing on the Critters' dynamic towards each other. As the tired multi-tasking leader DogDay, as much as he loves helping his friends, eventually succumbs to burning out, he gets encouraged to lean more into the "wild side", and becomes a "real dog" for while. His friends would approve of this change at first.. until DogDay's new alt overstays its welcome as he becomes more dog-like and gradually pushes everyone's limits. The others then plot to revert their beloved pup friend back to normal. (The joke is that he was ALWAYS normal, just acting like a real dog, causing them to realize at the end that they could've just ASKED him to stop. 😂)

Tldr, basically its a fun traditional one-shot episode that comedically pushes the characters' behaviors and relationships, but ultimately ties around the lesson of respect, patience, and taking needed breaks.

Also shoutout to those who have dogs. I currently don't own one, but I absolutely LOVE them, and this concept was idealized purely for fun! 🐶

Also @misscookiezdoodleposts and I were FINALLY considering producing more content with these sort of premises in mind but starting little by little, like with shorts, so be mindful of that I guess. 😅

And THAT was almost the first half of my entire first season of our list of episodes concepts! Which means that...

Yeah, there's a LOT more of this! I don't really know when I'll cover this second half (perhaps all in one post)... but please let me know if you like these posts, I will definitely continue, and maybe we all can get this series to see it's true potential!

If the Smiling Critters premiered its own TV Show!

This was done last year, and is correlated with the post I made about my creative concepts for episodes on said show (the Anniversary thing). One of the very first is "Up A Tree" where the Critters find CatNap at the very top of a very high tree and tries to rescue him when really doesn't need saving. Pretty basic stuff, but I feel that there would be some real funny moments within that little plot.

That was a little sneak peek of that idea, and the rest are blurred just to capture interest! (tho I have to collect all the data I wrote on my old phone to not lose anything that would destroy the whole purpose of me doing this...🥲)
