What's the vibe you're getting off of these recent things that happened in the Kaylor world? Do you think we're heading towards a public reunion of sorts or it's just regular koincidences they coordinate before bigger stunts?

(just for the record, i don’t think bearding and koincidences have some essential link wherein one is done for the purpose of counterbalancing the other. i think it’s closer to bearding being a part of their daily lives in a way which affords a sense of safety from within which they might feel more comfortable to express themselves (clown around). ultimately, it’s a big reason why people beard, the sense of safety, and i think that framing it as “stunts” counteracted by what are essentially received as gifts, or offerings in anticipation of them, unnecessarily inserts fans into the equation of the rhythm of their daily lives, which i feel makes things emotionally taxing for a lot of people, imo, okay, off my soap box..)

i think in essence this month has at the very least been another step in a long through-line of moments that has opened up the potential to reintroduce karlie into taylor’s friend group, which would be a next milestone.

but i don’t have a timeline for that.. and things could always change. even if i somehow knew one or had a good idea of a timeline, it ultimately might not work out, so, I wouldn’t want to place bets on it or get people to expect it or in the habit of expecting it. it’ll happen if and when it’s best for them, and i trust them on deciding the timing since they hold all the information.

my other more funny answer would be that, it’s not lotto ticket time yet (10 18 20 25) so i’m not expecting anything soon! but again, i really didn’t have a clue that karlie was going to go to eras (well… until about a week before) so, things can always happen unannounced!

as for what else it could be, i feel like this could just as easily be fun surprises for the lead up to rep tv, for example!

i have not put that much thought into it most of them get to old age and pass away peacefully by age might throw in a few accidents and tragedies for the angst lmao can you imagine john dying before he had a chance to properly mend his relationship with jack again

micah is one of the earlier ones to die either poor health choices (smoking, alcohol, cholesterol take your pick) or actually pissing off the wrong guy and just getting shot again (my real otp is micah x a bullet). while a lot of the gang weren't necessarily surprised or upset when he goes he was still kind of part of the modern gang? they still invited him to things? like going through dying only to reawaken in modern era is a hell of a bonding experience and micah did actually change slightly for the better after losing whatever sense of power and control he felt being an outlaw in canon era.

also getting to know micah hearing more of his campfire stories and offhanded comments about his past a lot of the boys came to appreciate yeah micah is an ass who is responsible for the bad choices he made but it could have easily been any one of them in his place. especially arthur, who has a similarly toxic and abusive relationship with bio father, who was also an outlaw and no doubt would have raised him identically to how micah's father raised him if he had the chance, really came to acknowledge that he could have easily become as awful as micah if not for the few good people he had in his life. they might as well have grown up in the same house, except one went out the front door and one went out the back.

it is an appropriately somber affair even though no one can think of a nice thing to say about him but bill does step forward to offer a few words 'well, er, micah was a bastard. a right, unpleasant, genuinely evil bastard at times... but y'know there were some good times too. he and arthur saved my life in rhodes, long time ago now. s'pose we were buddies at the end of the day. and - and i ain't here to defend him - but maybe in another life where he wasn't as fucked in the head, we could've been proper friends. think i would've liked that'

a lot of fans thought she was really quiet, and that was her main personality trait for awhile

and well, they werent exactly wrong but thats all she was to them lol

she tried her very best not to get on sns during this whole era because she knew people would be upset that she was the only girl in an all boy group

but sometimes she didn't even have to, instead getting mail from those who didn't like her or the times when some were bold enough to say it to her face

the older members tried to shield her from it as much as they could but sometimes it couldn’t be helped

however she did have some fans! she had three fansites from the start which made her glad bc she didn't want to be embarrassed and not have any ... unlike the others DLDFN

she wasn't very comfortable dancing in her skirt but she figured she'd just have to deal with it

especially because the stylists wouldn't let her wear shorts like the boys sigh

but nct dream and red velvet's promotions clashed this era!! she got to see her red velvet unnies more which was probably the most excited nctzens had seen her yet

red velvet made her sing some of russian roulette btw

fans went crazy bc they knew she was supposed to debut in red velvet

she also got to meet blackpink!! her and nari became really close despite the age difference, she also really liked jennie but overall she just really enjoyed their presence

and none of them judged her for being in a group full of boys 😌

when exo won first place during lotto louder and made nct stay on stage😭

oh she was so red she couldnt help it she was the biggest exol

she tried to stay away from lay, kai and chanyeol aka her biases 💀 and then she’d get to the other members and panic cause lbr … so she went and hid behind doyoung lol

she thinks its so funny in the contrast of outfits n concept when she sees a throwback vid on her sns

she loved being on the hoverboards though

she found them so cool

and was very glad she never fell off of them in public

she still has her hoverboard btw

she was mostly around mark or jaemin during this era while they were out in public

thus starting the ships from the shipper fans

overall she was just very glad to be debuting finally but she wasn't happy about how fans were treating her

she could do boy group dances just as well

and her voice actually did fit in well with the boys, too

thats why they put her in nct dream

ngl although she knew, deep down in her heart she deserved to be there and that she was put in dream for a reason, she was still a 16 year old girl who was hurt at the insults hurled at her

so of course the hate got to her

debut was not really kind to her honestly

but she always almost always had her members by her side!! <3
