check out Bloodywood! they're an Indian metal band! I would advise caution when listening tho bc they have heavy themes in their songs ranging from SA on women (on the side of women) to suicidal ideation, they have a rapper who does his rap in English, the rest of their songs are a combination of hindi and Punjabi. the songs go so HARD I swear I love them.

another recommendation I have would be NiNi music, she does Asian folk metal and that shit RIPS. she's Taiwanese and plays a lot of traditional Chinese instruments, like the pipa or the zhong ruan for example she plays so many instruments it's kinda crazy tbh.

something less metal would be Belle Sisoski, she does a lot of covers with SO many different indigenous instruments I'm genuinely baffled how she knows how to play all those and she also does throat singing, she also has started doing more original edm type stuff which goes SO hard, I'd go to an edm festival if they played her music. Also she's from Malaysia in case you were wondering.

The people of Palestine are native to the region and so are the plants. Humans and nature are connected. To ethnically "cleanse" a region is to also wipe out its nature. Don't let that happen.

I'm reading about how Israel, in the immediate aftermath of the 1948 Nakba, deliberately replaced olive trees and other indigenous flora with European plants. This ecological disaster, which is now proudly hailed under the banner of 'making the desert bloom,' was done to 'de-Arabize' the landscape, and to cover up - often with fast-growing European pine trees -the ruins of Palestinian villages that were destroyed by Zionists forces.

And I just need everyone to read this passage from Pappé, because the symbolism of what happened to those European pine trees in the desert speaks for itself:
