Welcome to our revamping our Daycare!

So if who all been reading our lovely stories know many things have changed!

We have quite the cast and crew! Many new family members! And to help out we have reach out and mananged to get an other manager!

This blog has gotten a bit heafty with all of us animatronics for one Manager to handle we are quite the handful! chuckles

So in order to keep up with all our lovely guests! We have now two managers! Our lovely mango and now we have Cialyven!

We expect to reply to you on a regular schedule. Events will be scheduled, and we do have a lovely treat for you all as well!

There will now be art! We will give you samples on here but if you wish to have a custom order we will be setting up a system where you can request and talk about detail! So stay tuned for that as well!

Rules and introductions(which makes this a bit long), this is a vore Rp/Ask blog based on Daycare Treats a collection of vore one-shots and other au's/fics written by Mangotangovoredango. Please note to keep things on this generally sfw. Flirting with the drops is allowed as they are adults but nothing will ever go further than that. Flirting is not allowed when it comes to Astral however, she is essentially twelve aka a minor.

I have not made pixel art for all characters on the blog just yet but I will link pics to the ones that have art. The others will have a written description of their appearances. You can click on names to go see the art.

The only type of vore that will be RPd on this blog is Oral safe vore. G/t is alright as long as it's safe and oral, the boys are strictly preds but may prey on each other sometimes which may lead to vore-ception if you've been nommed.

☀️Appearance wise Sun has extra ruffle layers on his waist and neck plus the ribbons for both are longer, both twins faces have been updated to look a bit more cartoony and Sun's rays have been replaced with much softer ones made from silicone but still have sensors so he can feel if they get damaged or nicer sensations like them being pet.

Sun's neck ruffles are printed on fabric, a soft sky blue with a cloud streaks, that is those smoky white cloud lines instead of the yellow line, in contrast to the darkish crimson colors of his ribbons, waist ruffles(which while also layered remain the same colors as the original ones) and his red and yellow striped pants.

☀️Playtime Attendant. Sun is in charge of the play area and craft time. He handles the loud energetic kids usually.

Moon=🌙

🌙 middle sibling, younger twin

🌙10ft tall

🌙Appearance wise the stars on Moon's and hat pants can now twinkle and his hat is longer with a pom pom that has a hidden bell inside it.The rim of his hat is silky as normal and Moon's neck ruffles have been made to look like really soft and fluffy like clouds on a dark night. Unlike Sun he has sharp teeth.

🌙 Naptime Attendant/Security. Moon is in charge of the Naptime tent which isn't just used for naptime, it's also used for movies or storytime as well as a place the quieter less energetic children, ones who are overstimulated and those sensitive to noise can stay during playtime or craft time if they chose.

Be warned Moon's personality can switch between Soft Moon and Gremlin Moon at anytime.

Eclipse=🌑☀️

🌑☀️ oldest sibling.

🌑☀️ 16ft Tall

🌑☀️ Security/Home ect teacher. Eclipse teaches older children, teens and college students home ect at various levels. Children learn simple things like sewing and how to cook(under close supervision, he will not allow the children near the ovens) while teens and college students are taught life skills like cooking, how to do laundry, how to do simple repairs and how to sew for example. Don't ask him to teach you how to file taxes, he has no idea how to do that.

🌑☀️ Eclipse is a rather calm and patient individual who cares deeply about his brothers and others around him despite his demeanor being hard to read and seemingly unfazed by anything until he loses his temper, the most he tends to do is put people in timeout, whether it be the timeout corner or in his stomach if you try to leave the corner without permission or when time-out isn't over.

Is the only one who can somewhat control Glitch by threatening the corner or scolding but there are times where Glitch becomes uncontrollable or Eclipse simple chooses not to intervene.

Dawn=☀️👾💧

☀️👾💧: 14 ft Tall

☀️👾💧 Middle Triplet of Eclipse and Glitch

☀️👾💧: works along side Glitch In the arcade and Was glitch's original prototype and was deactivated but soon awoken by Glitch himself. Also works along Side Eclipse and Moon in security.

Dawn himself is Calculative and calm demeanor until an interest arises, becoming fixed and feral on his targets. He cares Immensely for his family and loved ones. He helps maintain the daycare and arcade and tries to keep his younger triplet out of trouble at times but there are times he will be swayed by his almost identical triplet.

Glitch/Glitchdrop=👾💧

👾💧 Adopt sibling, older than Lunar and Astral, younger than Eclipse, Sun and Moon.

👾💧14ft tall

👾💧 Daycare Arcade Attendant/Virus/Anti-Virus/King of the Arcade/Secret Boss. Glitchdrop started out as an AI ment to handle the Superstar Daycare Arcade that would run his functions from the balloon world arcade cabinet, a security guard was startled by him moving machines and notified lower management who proceeded to freak out thinking he was a Glitch (not knowing of his existence) and locked him up

Multiple attempts to reset balloon world corrupted his code, once finally free he began retaliation by entering the main systems and causing management problems through his mischief. There were attempts to use anti-viruses to destroy him however he devoured and assimilated their coding, theoretically at this point he could take over the entire world via computer and no one could stop him due to his hacking. Luckily he has no interest in that.

He has more control over the Plex than one could realize at first.

Lunar=🔵🌕⚪

🔵🌕⚪youngest brother.

🔵🌕⚪8ft tall

🔵🌕⚪ Recently added to the daycare, no assigned responsibilities yet. Creation ordered by Glitch due to wanting more cute younger siblings. Very energetic, easily confused, friendly and seemingly innocent. Has the ability to shrink people.

🔵🌕⚪Lunar has a hat similar to Moon's thought the rim is very fluffy instead of silky, instead of ruffle around his neck he has a large bow that has a gold bell in the middle that has a bright silver crescent moon etched on it, he has soft puffy sleeves colored one colored celestial blue and one colored a sparkly ghost white matching the sides of his chest as well as puffy pants like his brothers, the only difference is his clothes are much softer and his pants have many hidden pockets.

His pants are colored medium electric blue dotted with shapes of titan white moon phases and cotton ball blue clouds, the instead of ruffles he has soft layered petals of fabric like Glitch that's outer layer is Dark Pastel Blue, middle layer of Baby Blue and inner layer of Alice Blue that are all filled a bit with stuffing to create a softer look. All in all he was made to look and be extremely soft and huggable.

🔴🌑🔴= Crimsonlunate aka Crimson

🔴🌑🔴9ft tall

🔴🌑🔴 Crimson is the middle triple of the bloodmoon triples. He, as well as his brothers have not been assigned duties to the daycare but he personally helps out with security and pest control.

Crimson is a feral one, likes to keep speech short and simple, but he is much smarter then he seems. He Loves the taste of blood and usually walks on all fours due to his movements being more stealthy due to his toe beans.

He might seem wild and a mean but he does have a soft side to those he cares for and becomes attached to.

He is the opposite of lunar with the coloration of red and black, The crescent side of his face is a blood red with the secondary color being black. He Has a twin tailed hat, he wears black pants with red stars on them.

🌑🔴🌑= Embervain aka Ember

🌑🔴🌑 9ft tall

🌑🔴🌑 is the eldest of the bloodmoon triplets is a very reserved individual and speaks in rythms at times, he is not assigned a position in the daycare yet but helps with security and can be found in the naptime tent in the corner reading.

Much like his brother he likes blood and violence, though he is much tamer and is the one to reel in Crimson when he gets out of hand. He protects his loved one fiercely.

His colorations are the opposite of Crimson's his Crescent being that of ebony color the the secondary ruby. His pants are Scarlets with black strips. Also he shares twin tailed hat that is patterned much like his pants.

🔴🌑 = Killcode aka KC

🔴🌑 20ft

🔴🌑 His right pant leg is black with red stars, the other stripped red and black, his puffy sleeves are the opposite, there are extremely long black black ribbons with black bells that are long enough to reach just above his ankles, around his waist is a giant black ribbon that wraps around and ties into bow in the back, his fingers long and red ending with sharp tips like claws.

The palms of his hands and arms black, a red shoulder cape wrapped around his shoulders, his chest is covered in a black fabric with little sparkles of white , his face is two shades of black, an almost pitch black crescent moon on the right side of his face, the other side has a slightly blue tone to itself black color. His eye sockets cracked halfway down his cheek, the eye itself is damaged and his mouth is full of sharp white teeth.

He has a sleeping cap with a very fluffy white rim, his hat's length matching his height with the end of it almost brushing the floor, it's black with red four, five and six pointed stars as it's pattern, the tip has a red crescent moon. He has charms hanging on chains from the right side of his head mimicking piercings, a red Sun, a black star and a black crescent moon.

🔴🌑 Killcode has a calm and formal demeanor, being that of the original attendant. Finding out the fact he is now a father Killcode is fiercely protective of his family, loved ones and of the daycare (some might say a bit over protective)

Killcode manages all aspects of the daycare and all that includes his family. He is security, also manages apartments livings as well as any and all inventory along side his son Glitchdrop.

Because of his size he is intimidating and will use it as such but is a gentle giant to most who enter the daycare. That does not mean he will not neglect enforcing the rules and regulations.

Blog admin/Manager Mango=🥭

🥭 Mangotangovoredango, the writer who lives in the abandoned daycare staff dorms, was made Daycare Manager by Glitch but has no actual power, it's just a title so Mango can't be removed from the daycare by management and one of the favored victims of nomming by Glitch.

Assistant Manger= 🍑

🍑 Cialyven was dragged into the daycare, quite literally by Crimson as he demanded Glitch dub them the Assistant manager because Crimson found Them fun to hunt.

You enter the familiar potion shop, the door to which had seemingly appeared out of nowhere, not looking for anything in particular. But before you knew it, you had already crossed the threshold.

Behind the counter, the witch sitting there looks up at the sound of the bell and grins when she sees you. On your way over, you inspect the assortment of magical and mystical items you couldn’t identify lining the shelves, the space in the shop much larger than it appears from the outside.

“Welcome back,” she greets you with a wink. Propping one hand on the counter, the witch studies you. “What can I help you with today? Or did you only visit because you wanted to see me?”

When you tell her you only dropped by on a whim with nothing really in mind, the witch’s eyes sparkle as she laughs. Looking onto the counter you see she was inspecting what appeared to be a dark blue piece of parchment. Occasionally, darker shades swirled across it, giving the illusion of clouds against the night sky.

“What you’re looking at is a star map,” the witch explained. “As you can probably imagine, it does more than just chart the stars. But most can’t read it.

“See,” the woman pointed to the blue swirling parchment where not a single star could be seen. “You have to piece it together first. It’s said the pieces are strewn across the universe and will link together if you collect them all. Most wouldn’t go through that trouble.”

You reach out to graze your fingers over the map and a cold chill spreads across your body before it’s replaced by pleasant warmth. Suddenly, you wonder about what lies beyond the world you know, what wonders the universe could hold for you. The witch laughs.

“Go on, take it. I have my hands full with the shop, it would just collect dust here.” Carefully, she folds the map back together, seemingly unbothered by the temperature drop. “I know it might sound daunting to travel the universe for clues. But let me assure you that all puzzles come with clues, so you’re not stumbling around blindly. Look, there’s already something stuck to the back of the map.

“Well then, are you ready to go on an adventure?”

Week 2 Blog

This week I read pages 42-95 of the book “Monsoon Mansion” by Cinelle Barnes. 

The most important sentence of this week can be found on page 54: “I said, ‘God, I need a new hairbrush. And I just want everyone to stop fighting. Amen.’” Her father tells her about a war happening in the Philippines, and how she and her brother are to band together against the common enemy. The author experiences a sudden change in her life, when her parents start constructing a place for weddings, birthdays, and parties. She is trapped upstairs for the duration of time where there are events hosted everyday. Then she is introduced to Elma, the daughter of Manang Biday (the helper), they build a friendship, since her brother is engulfed in his video games, ignoring everything. One day everything changed for her, a huge monsoon hit, flooding her family’s mansion. During those forty days everything was hectic, flooding from the main floor to the second floor, valuable items from the monsoon gone from the ocean, her family being torn apart from everything. Her mother frustrated from losing everything, her father in sorrow, her brother silent and distracted, the helpers adapting the best they can with their chores. While that is all happening she and Elma, were in a state of imagination to distract themselves from the situation. 

I can’t help but feel sympathetic for Cinelle, she is going through a lot, the family issues, her house being flooded, and how aware she is with everything. She knows more than anyone in this book, and she’s only a child. I learned that her mother is like a child, throwing tantrums when she doesn’t get everything her way. Although her actions are childish, I feel bad for her, she lost everything, her money, children, and home. I also feel bad for her father, the mother is always lashing out at him, since their money is going down the drain from his job. There are stories from her father’s childhood that are entertaining, he grew up poor and has lots of tales to tell. Even for Paolo, he’s silent during the whole incident, and copes with video games. I’m glad Cinelle now has a friend with everything she is going through. I really like the book so far, very interesting and captivates my attention.

Clangen rambles; Ravenclan

When I started this run, I was just considering doing an ‘evil’ run, not many plans besides wanting a bloodthirsty leader and wanting to focus on negative traits and antagonizing on patrols. I don’t ever post my clangen stuff rlly but this save has been so fun (INSANE?? I DIDNT REALIZE A LOT UNTIL I STARTED TYPING THIS??)  that I have to,

and so, We start with Scornstar, who is bloodthirsty trans she-cat with natural intuition.

and their mate Bluedawn, Who is a grumpy she-cat and a fast runner

the other warriors aren’t super important for what I’m talking about but I’ll post about them if anyone is interested, but i do have to say that I was trying to prioritize negative traits but some of the clan had traits I didnt want like righteous and loving, so like 3 moons in I send them a patrol together and get the storm event and they both drown. and over time, every cat that had a trait I didn’t really want had somehow died, leaving only the leader, deputy, medcat, and a single warrior left. The generator unintentionally did exactly what I was thinking.

okay I didnt think she was important but I guess she is?? 5 moons into the clan, a rogue abandoned their 1 moon old kit to the clan and has been living with the clan since, The kits name is Cloudkit, was later mentored by Scornstar and was later named Cloudfur at 13 moons.

anyway, at moon 13, Bluedawn and Scornstar have a litter of two kits, Beetlekit, a tom and Sandkit, a she-cat.

I don’t remember their original traits as kits but Beetlekit has always had a connection to starclan, and Sandkit was always kind.

Beetlekit gets renamed to Beetlepaw and is apprenticed to Scornstar

Sandkit gets renamed to Beetlepaw and is apprenticed to warrior Cloudfur, who is ambitious.

Scornstar influenced Beetlepaw to be more likely to heed their inner compass, use teeth and claws over words, think things through and be cold towards others. They graduated to a warrior at 12 moons old, given the name Beetlecove. Their traits are now Bloodthirsty & strong connection to starclan

Cloudfur had tried to turn Sandpaw towards being colder and more aggressive but instead just influenced Sandspeckle to refrain from socializing with their clanmates, and learn how to bend the rules and think things through. Because of their refusal to antagonize and fight, They were held back a moon. Depite this, their traits are still compassionate a beloved kittsitter & good mediator. At 13 moons they finally graduated and were named Sandspeckle.

- Beetlecove gets caught by two legs and is lost

- Bluedawn retires and another cat is named deputy since Beetlecove isn’t there.

-After a few moons, Beetlecove returns and is named deputy, Scornstar deciding to demote the previous one.

- Scornstar lost a life to green cough while Beetlecove was gone and then 3 at moon 57 and the rest at moon 62, meaning Beetlecove takes their place and is named Beetlestar.

At moon 71, Cloudfur announces they’re having kits even though she doesn’t have a mate, and two moons later dies giving birth to Sandfreckles kits. (I had no clue they were so close and completely forgot that Cloudur was Sandfreckles mentor, I didn’t even realize I had that setting on) Theres two kits in the litter, Stormkit and Cloudkit, both toms and both named after Cloudfur.

When apprenticed, Stormpaw was originally apprenticed to Sandspeckle, who mananged to influence them to make more impulsive decisions and become better at resolving arguments before Beetlestar decided to mentor Stormpaw themself in hopes of also making him bloodthirsty and influenced them to make their own decisions. Shickingly, Stormpaw finishes their training at 10 moons old, name Stormheart and honored for their ferocity.

Cloudkit was named Cloudpaw and apprenticed to their uncle, Emberstipe, whos the lonesome but incredibly clever younger kit of Bluedawn and Scornstar (They had 3 litters together.) Cloudpaw is shameless and constantly climbing but is still in training, with how it’s going, it might seem as if Cloudpaw might graduate late.

i think a lot of dog daycares/kennels, and tbh some shelters and vet offices, fail to consider, on the level of construction, the importance of using material that is both sturdy and easy to clean and easy to replace. Dogs are nasty and also capable of incredible amounts of destruction.

No wood, no brick, nothing with a large surface area (like grates or fences with hard to clean gaps), nothing porous; the facility must have drainage on the floors, must have multiple water sources for sanitation purposes, if play areas are indoors there must be a way to keep water and piss out of the drywall/gaps between wall and floor (caulk is not good enough lmao), must store all food appropriately (using large totes for example) to prevent pests, should invest in artificial turf if outdoors, must use easily sanitized flooring if indoors (personally torn on indoor play areas that have slippery floors bc that can be horrible for a dog's joints and can cause injuries, but it is very cleanable and manageable so i dunno), should absolutely have an industrial grade dishwasher (having ur employee hand wash everything is idiotic and a waste of time and water, and sink water will not get to a high enough temp to kill germs), should have at least one if not multiple washers and dryers, should prevent rodent infestations by managing trees on the property and keeping them several feet from the building as well as making sure there are no gaps or small entryways where rodents may enter, should have an area where sick dogs can be quarantined, should have showers/sanitation stations/eye wash stations for employees in the event that caustic chemicals are used or an employee happens to come in contact with a zoonotic disease, absolutely needs to require all dogs to be vaccinated (NO PUPPIES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN FULLY VACCINATED! FR!), and needs to have an appropriate waste manangement system in place, poop scoops tbh are so much easier for employees than making them bend over and bag up each individual piles of shit, but they do also need to be washed; this includes removing all fecal matter and food waste from the building every night or as often as possible to prevent flies esp in the summer. So on and so forth.

taking at least some of these measures will absolutely improve employee QOL as well as the health and safety of dogs and employees alike. Ive been in so many filthy facilities that look clean outwardly but are just fucking disgusting and unsafe bc the owners cut corners during construction.

Your trip to the mountains will begin with a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani. The drive offers you a view of rural Nepal while passing through breathtaking scenery. You will spend the night at a traditional teahouse in Dharapani.

Day 4: Trek from Dharapani to Chame

As you trek from Dharapani to Chame, your trekking journey officially starts. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills as it winds through verdant forests and crosses suspension bridges. Your overnight stop will be at Chame, the Manang District headquarters.

Day 5: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang

From Chame, the hike continues to Upper Pisang. You’ll notice a change in the environment as you rise, with more alpine plants and magnificent mountain views. Upper Pisang is a charming community featuring an ancient monastery and traditional stone dwellings.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day at Upper Pisang

You will stay one more day in Upper Pisang to allow your body acclimate to the higher altitude. You can go on quick treks in the surrounding area, explore the community, and visit the monastery. For acclimatization and to ensure a successful ascent, this day is essential.

Day 7: Trek from Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Basecamp

Today, you trek to Pisang Peak Basecamp, leaving the small village behind. As you ascend, the terrain gets steeper and more difficult. Basecamp offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna range and is situated in a lovely, secluded area.

Day 8: Trek from Basecamp to High Camp

There is a steeper but shorter ascent from Basecamp to High Camp. Take it slow and steady as you ascend to a higher height. High Camp gets you ready for the last ascent while providing you with an amazing view of the surrounding peaks.

Day 9: Summit Pisang Peak and Descend to Basecamp

It’s the big day! You will begin your ascent of Pisang Peak early in the morning. There are breathtaking vistas of the Annapurna range and beyond from the peak of this strenuous but extremely rewarding trek. Following your summit celebration, you’ll return to Basecamp for a well-earned nap.

Day 10: Contingency Day

The plan includes a contingency day in case there are any delays because of bad weather or other unanticipated events. If all goes according to plan, you can spend today relaxing and taking in the surroundings.

Day 11: Trek from Pisang Basecamp to Manang Valley

From Pisang Basecamp, you will go down to the stunning Manang Valley. You’ll like the varied scenery as you approach the valley, renowned for its rich culture and stunning views, and the easier descent on your legs.

Day 12: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka

From Manang, you’ll trek to Yak Kharka, a small settlement with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The trail is gradual but steady, and you’ll feel the altitude as you climb higher.

Day 13: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi

Today’s trek takes you from Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi, the base for crossing the Thorung La Pass. The trail is rugged and beautiful, with spectacular mountain views at every turn.

Day 14: Trek from Thorung Phedi to Muktinath via Thorung La Pass

One of the most challenging and exciting days of the trek, you’ll cross the Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters. The climb is tough, but the views from the top are worth every step. After crossing the pass, you’ll descend to the sacred town of Muktinath.

Day 15: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom

You are going to trek down to Jomsom from Muktinath, a town renowned for its windy weather and breathtaking vistas of the mountains. Jomsom is a fantastic spot to learn about local culture and the entry point to the Mustang region.

Day 16: Morning Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara Airport and Explore the City of Pokhara

Tricycles are a vital part of life in Codoog, Narvacan. Located 3 km. from the main municipality, Codoog is a rural area where the pace of life is slower, and the community is close-knit. In this setting, tricycles serve as the primary means of transportation, providing a convenient and accessible way to travel within the town and to nearby areas.

Life in Codoog revolves around agriculture and community. Families work the fields, growing rice, vegetables, and fruits, while others raise livestock or run small-scale businesses. Despite its rural charm, getting around can be a challenge without reliable transportation. This is where tricycles come in, connecting people to work, school, or social events.

Growing up in Codoog, commuting to school in town was part of my daily routine. During grades 5-6, and throughout high school, I traveled with my Lola Elen everyday by tricycle, who has since passed away. Those journeys hold a special place in my heart because they were more than just a commute; they were moments spent with someone I cherished. Wether we were chatting about school or just enjoying the ride, those trips were filled with warmth and connection.

Tricycles play an important role in the community's social life. The annual fiesta celebraring Our Lady of Fatima, held on May 13 is a vibrant time filled with parade, music, and traditional dances. Tricycles are busy shuttling families and visitors to and from the festivities. It's a day when everyone comes together and the tricycles symbolize the movement and energy of the celebration.

While tricycles are essential for commuting, Codoog faces challenges such as limited access to education and healthcare. Commuting to school in town can be lengthy and sometimes difficult journey. However, the presence of tricycles makes these commutes possible offering a practical solution to transportation needs. They are a testament to the community's resourcefulness and adaptability.

Beyond their practical use, tricycles represent the strong connections within the community. Although Lola Elen is no longer with us, the memories of our daily rides to school or at her local store are a reminder of the deep bonds that tricycles can foster. Wether it's commuting to school, work, or family gatherings, tricycles bring people together, allowing families and friends to stay conneted despite the rural setting.

In Codoog, tricycles are more than just transportation-they are a bridge between places and people. The memories of commuting to school with Lola Elen remind me of the enduring spirit of our community and the essential role tricycles play in our daily lives. Wether it's the daily commute or the excitement of the annual fiesta, tricycles are a symbol of the resilience and connection that define my home town.

As a kid he would spend every moment playing the guitar, singing and songwriting. In those days, music was his first love and it made him really happy. Gradually, he started thinking about becoming a rockstar during the day. Even in school, when his teachers would call out his name, there would not be any response, cause Sal would be lost in his head. As high school came to an end, Sal dropped out in the first year of college and saw his friends move on to accomplish great things in life, while Sal would only be singing in local clubs in front of a small crowd. Success as a rockstar Sal claimed he didn't want the things his friends had but he wanted to feel validated. He wanted to achieve the financial accolades so he started thinking about how to turn his passion for music into a business. Later on, he would spend a large amount of time just thinking about how he could earn more and more and would spend time praying to the universe to help him make it. At that time, becoming big, powerful and known was more important than his love for music. After years of hustling, he hit his big break. He joined a band with which he enjoyed great success. Their debut single reached No. 1 on the American Billboard top 100 rock charts, becoming the biggest song in rock in America that year. It was also one of the top 5 most purchased music video that year on Itunes becoming gold, then platinum. They were also nominated for a Juno award in Canada. This was his childhood dream manifested into reality but something was different. He wasn't happy. He didn't feel fulfilled. He wasn't sure why anymore. He had lost the love. He had put an immense amount of pressure on himself to just make it that he wasn't loving it anymore. Even after manifesting the dream, Sal felt depressed. He was filled with anxiety and began taking extremely addictive medications which were really difficult to get off of. Sal was not even close to 30 years of age and he was taking an extreme amount of narcotics to just somehow manange to survive. Sal explains that there were times when he couldn't get to bed because he couldn't even walk. He would cry uncontrollably and still head to the stage which had become his battlefield. For years, Sal never told anybody about how he was feeling. He kept those feelings inside because he was so scared and ashamed of even thinking about walking away from something he had spent his whole life on. He chose to stick with it even though he was suffering very deeply on the inside out of fear of having to walk away. Panic Attack One night, during a meet and greet with fans after the show, Sal felt like a bolt of lightening through his body. He suffered a panic attack. Although he had suffered a lot of panic attacks in his life, Sal never felt one like this before. He went completely blank not knowing what to do. Sal described like a primal energy taking over him telling him to run and so he just ran right out of the venue and further down the street. Sal realised that he was running from all the lies that he had been living and at this point he knew that he couldn't run any further. Realising that all the things that people would feel about him walking away didn't outweigh how empty and lonely he felt. Picking up Cooking

Sal neglected all the other pieces in his life while living his life as Sal the rockstar. At that point in his life, he didn't even realise what the other pieces were anymore because he was far into music. Sal had lost himself completely as he explains. He had hit rock bottom. This was the scariest and hardest point in his entire life and somehow he walked away from it in the hope of finding himself. Sal began working as a cook in a kitchen out of sheer desperation to find some passion other than music. As he began cooking more, the love for cooking increased and that triggered a lot of memories that Sal had buried a long time ago. Some of the happiest moments of his childhood which was him as a little boy being in the kitchen with his grandparents and his parents as they made italian dishes which would make him feel happy. So, it was through cooking that Sal began to see that there was more to him than Sal the rockstar. Sal talks about many moments, pieces and memories that made him who he was like his family, animals, martial arts, travelling, exploring etc and for years, Sal had neglected these parts. The Realisation According to Sal, the human body cannot function off of a diet of chocolate. It will survive but not well. This was the same thing with human spirit. If it is neglected of all the things that make it whole, it won't flourish. This was a massive revelation for him and he made peace with himself. Things changed and he became happy. Picking up music again However things changed again. Some time back, Sal met with his old friends Bryne Burne and Dave Benedict who had also lost the passion for music. They really bonded with this common experience. They decided to fly to the west coast to just write, create and see if there was still something left in music. When they started playing music, Sal realised that music still felt great and the passion for music was back. Sal realised that he was doing it for the right reasons. It was only when Sal decided to walk away from all of it that he realised that he didnt need a music career to feel whole. You know there is nothing in the world than playing in front of 50,000 screaming fans. Nothing. But there is something better. The sound of my kids laughing, cozy nights at home, creating music with the people I love true friendship and family................................................................................ You know I have gone through a lot of crazy things in my life. I never had a ridiculous amount of experiences being a rockstar and I'm young and I'm sure there will be a lot more, but if there is one thing in my life, that I am most grateful for, it is hitting rock bottom. Chapter 1: Here You Are

It was Saturday morning. Sound of chickens clucking and birds tweeting was heard–a sign that you are back in your province, Ilocos Sur. As weird as others may find, those things make a place a home, at least for you.

As you post a story of your family's farm—a "tradition" you do every time you go back to your second home—your phone bursts with notifications as expected.

Two of your cousins, the other one from your mother's side and the other one from yourfather'sr side, were bombarding your group chat with messages. This is also why you love to surprise them instead of giving a heads-up that you will arrive at a certain date—reactions from them never fail to make you love even when it ends up with them bickering.

Maybe that, too, makes it home.

"Plaza at 4pm?

"All right." – Jarred

"We missed you." – Kassandra

"I missed you guys too."

Honestly, informing them of the time and place is useless—no questions asked, all three of you already know when one asked to meet unless an unexpected event occurs.

You sat in one of the many food stalls you three love. It's your top-most favorite, Aling Nena's Ilocos Empanada—another thing that makes this place a home for you.

And have I mentioned? It has been a while since you came back to this lovely town. Now, year 2023, although precautions are still done, things have been better after the lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic.

With that, time passed by so fast that no one in three of you had noticed that it was almost 7 in the evening, after catching up and trying to fill in the times you've missed.

Other than your favorite Ilocos Empanada, your "food trip" was followed by Beef Mami, Siomai, Filipino Pancakes, Kwekkwek, Fishballs, Kikiam, and other street foods you couldn't name. As your last stop, as always, you made sure to visit Manang Alma's Milktea and Coffee Shop.

But before you could even order, as much as you want this day to be full of laughter and joy, maybe you couldn't avoid accidents at all. Or maybe, you're just clumsy as ever.

But, again, the moment you thought was bad was somehow a blessing—at least for you. Who could've thought that you would bump into the guy you've been looking forward to meeting? He was a friend of you, and as he confessed back then, he liked you. However, with the Milktea spill or mess you made, I guess his perception of you had changed. After all, it's been 5? 6 years? You couldn't count. All you can think of right now is cleaning the mess you made. And everything felt worse when he stopped you wiping the mess with a thin ply of tissue you know won't help.

Was he always this charming? You don't know.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Maybe you could send me your bank details? Contacts? GCash? Or wherever? I'll pay for the laundry or do you want a new pair of clothes? I'm really sorry." You said, without a pause, showing how much you were panicking at that time. I mean, he dressed simply but all of those were designers.

"Nice to finally meet you. I thought it would always be only a glimpse. Didn't think there would be a chance for me to talk to you in person." Wonwoo replied, not even giving attention to any of the things you said or even to what happened just now.

He brought out his hand and offered a handshake. "I'm Ansley Jeon or Le– Ans for short if you can't remember."

"Amara Alcantara or Mara for short. And how can I? You're pretty remarkable."

You two exchanged smiles and looked at each other's eyes as if you two share a language only you can understand.

After a bit, Ley went to greet his seniors back in school—Kassandra and Jarred.

The five of you, with Wonwoo's friend (Scott), included shared a table. All of them know each other given that they used to study in the same school except for you who grew up in Manila. It was comfortable as if you had met Wonwoo and his friend in person years ago. They also gave time for you and Wonwoo to catch up alone, especially since it was your first time meeting after talking in the past years online.

At 8 pm, you all have to go home.

Never in my wildest dreams that I get to take this photo with him with the whole Mabinay as our background. This wasn’t planned. At all.

But this one’s planned: January, my mom asked me if I want to go with them (parents) to their alumni homecoming at their alma mater — the same Bible School he graduated from — on April. That was months before he started doing efforts of getting my attention through chats, out of nowhere.

And so I went. We only exchanged messages a month prior the homecoming, but I never told him I’m going. I don’t want him to feel that I like him (too. lol).. yet. He’s so torpe. I know his close friends could say that. Even in the whole event, he never talked to me! Or even started a light conversation. He. Never. Did. I even told myself “how can’t he make such effort?” but later on I thought it’s alright. He said it would get the attention of a lot of people since we’re both known to most of them. And I agreed.

We never talked during the homecoming, not until I was asked to play the keyboard and he’s facilitating the multimedia. I don’t know the songs and he’s the nearest and the best person to ask aside from the leader, I said “Ano ang mga songs, manong?” HAHAHAHA. I know. I’ve been teasing him that he’s just my older brother and I loved calling him that. But the person that he is, he called me manang too. 😅

He would send me messages in between sessions.

See? Chatting me and all but not making effort to talk to me face-to-face. Mka-grrrr kaayo! But at least.. sang last night kay gin kamusta ya lang ko like... kamustahanay lang sang kamot. 😆

During the last night too I was expecting my PK friends (who are his second cousins) to attend. They made it but sadly it rained so much that night, naabtan na lang nila ang end part sang program and we got to meet after the program na. So we were making chika about this and that but they don’t know that their cousin is making damoves na to me. Hahahaha. We were standing in a footwalk, exchanging convos, when Zerne had to pass that way too to go to the dorm. So wala siya kawala, he had to be polite. Lol. He had to shake my hands again and all the other people there, his cousins still unaware what’s happening on the other side of the world. 😆

He went on. While his cousins and I were talking, they are encouraging me not to go home yet. That I’ll sleep nalang sa ila balay. Since it is Labor Day the next day, a holiday, which means no work for them and a good chance to bond. WALA NI YA SA PLANO. As in! That they even had to come with me and ask permission from my parents if I could stay the night with them and just go home after lagaw.

For the record, I didn’t tell Zerne what we’re going to do the next day. I didn’t update him whatsoever like duh. We’re just nothing that time. Hahaha. And I really wanted to bond with his cousins — my friends, without him tani. Kay basi panumdumon nila nga gin kadto ko to si Zerne nga indi man siya ang rason. XD little did I know. He knew. Maybe his cousins or his cousin’s boyfriend, I don’t know who told him but he did know. Surprisingly but not so much (lol), the next day, early morning, he was there too. And the rest is history.
