(which is to say that I noticed it before but this time I actually paid attention) and realised that I recognised it as the one from Blaine's grandfather's room in the hospice:

Nature morte aux instruments de musique, globe et livres (c.1690-1695). Evert Collier (Dutch, 1640-1707). Oil on canvas.
This still life subtly evokes human ambitions. The voluminous globe in the center deals with power and glory, reinforced by a trumpet of fame. But these vain quests are tempered by the details carefully scattered throughout the canvas and modulating the message. The trumpet has a split while the violin has a broken chord, illustrating these quests of success sometimes vain. In the same way the tenor score evokes time passing, and the fleeting pleasures of life. The Latin phrase "Haec mea voluptas" [”This is my pleasure"] insists on the futility of very personal earthly joys.
