Finally, here's Evice! Or rather, Es Cade, or rather rather, the guy who was literally censored in my Nintendo Power player's guide. I appreciate that even with being a for-profit walkthrough they took the time to not spoil this plot twist, even if it does kinda come outta nowhere in the no-foreshadowing-whatsoever sense aside from maaaaybe Nascour first being introduced walking out of the mayor's house hehe.

And with the boss of the Cipher Syndicate drawn, the Colosseum series is done! With that out of the way, there's gonna be another break and then you can probably guess what game's next. Yup, it'll be Pokemon XD!

I'm gonna go ahead and say that if you are an atheist and swayed by Joshua Graham to be religious I think you have very reactionary reasons to be atheist in the first place

And the truth comes out! Phenac's Mayor turned out to be behind Cipher all along...! I am of two minds about this, and have always been.

On the one hand, it is cool that there is a twist at all and a followup battle to Nascour's. It's really fun from a gameplay standpoint, if very dickish since you have been battling nonstop for five battles now... but from a story standpoint it's kind of... nothing? We didn't really interact with Es Cade enough for it to be shocking, so all it kinda ends up doing is undercuting Nascour's presence as a villain we've been seeing for most of the game.

Speaking of the battle itself, though, yeah that was a tough one for sure. I knew we had to rush as soon as I saw him whip out Slaking and Slowking for the good ol' Skill Swap-Truant combo. Luckily, Lux critted Slaking to death after Evice wasted a turn using X Attack on not only Slaking but Slowking too, for some puzzling reason. That and the fact that we got Shadow Tyranitar on the first ball ensured the match wasn't as bad as it could have been, and it still wiped half my team.

After beating him, the entourage of Duking, Silva, Eagun and the officers from Pyrite arrived at the scene to help us out.

Due to the incident, Admin Eldes has been reprimanded and is now banned from drinking at Cipher parties. Master Greevil and Admin Ardos declined to comment.

Direct action from Ho-Oh! Does it come from nowhere? Yeah. Is it cheesy? Yeah. Is it awesome regardless? Fuck yeah.

There are still things to do in the postgame, like rematching the Cipher and Snagem bosses, the new boss at the Deep Colosseum, as well as snagging the rest of the Shadow Pokémon, but to be honest even those don't amount to much. I think I can play that in my own time and close out the liveblog here.

This was another game I've wanted to play in full for a loooooong time and I'm glad I finally took the plunge. I really enjoyed my time in the Orre region :)

The sequel, of course, is next!

Entei! Guest starring Wes and his -eons from Pokemon Colosseum!

Wes, Willie, and Rui were very important to the recovery of Entei, Raikou, and Suicune respectively. I imagine that the process of making a shadow pokemon, it corrupts the Pokemon's nature or personality.

Entei's gentle nature became violent and threatening. Wes was vital to braving Entei's frightening displays.

Raikou's love of running caused him to become lethargic and uncooperative. Willie would lead Raikou across the desert of Orre with a teaser toy on the back of his bike.

Suicune's adaptable and serene personality becomes closed off and rigid, making Wes and Willie scratch their heads until Rui is able to read a sliver of a crack into Suicune's heart to see what they feel and how to meet their needs.

Ho-oh was deeply moved by their efforts to purify the beasts, and found it necessary to thwart Evice's escape at the end of Colosseum. The trio then recieved Ho-oh's favor- three Rainbow Wings -to mark them Ho-oh's Rainbow Heroes of Orre.

I saw it all unfold on Twitter yesterday. But I checked out Justine's post because you mentioned it.

Ryan and Oliver really do watch Buddie edits and send them to each other. :)

As for that TikTok video? 0_°

Oh to be a fly on the wall to see Ryan's reaction to that. XD LOL!

Love this for us though.

I'm not saying that all of this is 'evicence' or 'proof' of Buddie happening, but in my opinion it is a very huge and big hint into the right direction. Neither Ryan nor Oliver have ever been so blatantly obvious as this before.

Do with that what you will. It's only a fan's opinion, so it really doesn't count for much. LOL!
