*ahem* cue the elyse myers intro
What’s it like being married to the ✨real-life✨ Gary Rennell?
Great question. I would love to tell you.
My husband builds RC cars but not just any RC cars, oh no. He builds the heavy machinery RC cars. This man quite literally loves excavators so much he made little trailers for his little RC semi trucks to pull his little RC excavators. He’s obsessed with excavators the way Gary is obsessed with cranes, y’all.
You know what he did? The man brought home a dump truck load of dirt and put it next to my house outside my bedroom window.
A. TRUCK. LOAD.
So he could literally dig with his little machinery. And he built a mini trailer for his lawn mower to load his RCs on to drive to the dirt pile.
In conclusion, my headcanon for Gary now is he builds RC Cranes in his spare time.
Thank you.

Lyre Musical Instruments and How They Have Been Used in the Past

The lyre is an ancient musical instrument first documented in the Ancient Greek and Persian cultures. "lyre" is derived from the Greek word luros, which means "a harp." The lyre has been used in a variety of ways throughout history. This article will explore how the lyre has been used in the past and what it looks like today. We will also discuss some of its different variations throughout history and where you can find one today. The Lyre: A Brief History Lyres had existed for thousands of years, with evidence of their existence dating back to around 4,000 B.C., when they were used as ceremonial instruments in Ancient Greece.
What Is a Lyre and the Difference between it and a Harp?
The lyre and the harp are two-stringed instruments from the same family. Though there is a difference between the two, they share many similarities. The lyres' strings are horsehair, while harps' strings are nylon or gut. The lyre is played with a bow and has only seven strings. This makes it easier to play than the harp, which must be plucked by hand.
Famous Lyres in History: The King David's Lyre
King David's Lyre is considered one of the earliest known stringed instruments in history. The King David's Lyre, or "King David's Harp" as it is sometimes known, is a lyre found in King David's tomb during excavations at Jerusalem by Charles Warren in 1867. It was made from wood and had three strings. It is dated to around 1000 BC, making it one of the earliest known stringed instruments in history.
Famous Lyres in Popular Culture: The Game of Thrones Theme-Lute
The "Game of Thrones" theme-lute is played by Arya Stark in the television series. It was given to her by Jon Snow as a gift. Arya Stark plays this instrument in the TV show while singing the "Bear and Maiden Fair" song.
The History, Uses, and Importance of the Lyre as a Musical Instrument
The lyre is a stringed instrument that was first made in Mesopotamia around 3000 BC. rc airplanes for sale has been used in many different cultures around the world for many different purposes. The Lyre is one of the oldest musical instruments still in use today. It is believed to have originated in Mesopotamia, but it has also been found throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. The earliest evidence of the lyre comes from ancient Egyptian paintings and carvings dating back to 3000 BC. The Lyre has a long history of being used as an instrument and an emblem of power or status.
How the Lyre Came to be and Why It's Important
The lyre is an instrument originally made from the rib of a large animal. It is essential because it was the first stringed instrument that helped create music. The lyre can be traced back to 7000 BC when the first lutes were made in Mesopotamia. The earliest evidence of a lute-like instrument comes from the Sumerian civilization around 3400 BC, where they would carve animal ribs to create a resonator for strings. The Sumerians used these instruments for religious ceremonies and celebrations. As time went on, people began adding more strings to their lyres to make them sound better and provide more variety in their music. Eventually, these new instruments became known as harps and guitars.
Lyres in Ancient Greece
Lyres were a popular instrument in Ancient Greece, with many variations. It is believed that they have been around since the Bronze Age. The most common type of lyre in Ancient Greece was called a kithara. This lyre had a single row of strings and was played with the fingers. The earliest evidence for this instrument comes from pottery and paintings from the Bronze Age, but it is not clear what type of lyre it was at that time. One hypothesis is that it might have been an early form of the kithara, which would make it one of the oldest instruments still in use today. Another popular form of lyre in Ancient Greece was called a barbiton or baryton.
Lyres in Ancient Rome
Lyres were used in ancient Rome. They were typically made of wood and had a broad, flat soundboard. The lyre strings were made of animal gut or metal wire, and they would be plucked with the fingernails or a plectrum. Lyres were first mentioned in Homer's Iliad as an accompaniment to singing and dancing.
What is the Modern Value of the Lyre?
The Lyre is a Greek instrument that has been around for centuries. It is believed to have originated in Mesopotamia and was later adopted by the Greeks. The Lyre is an ancient instrument, but it still has modern value today. The lyre has had an impact on the world today, and will continue to have an impact in the future.
