"This can't be good," you mutter as Sehun excitedly leads you to your parking lot where he's parked his voguish Ferrari F8.

"Ta-da!" the boy proudly takes his hands off your eyes to reveal a very glossy, very sexy car.

"You got it detailed!?" you stand over the hood in awe, flashing your phone light against the car's clean finish.

"Yeah, do you wanna go out for a ride?"

"A ride!? Where? It's almost midnight," you scoff.

"So? We'll go to Junmyeon's place. He won't care," he says as he eagerly opens your side of the door for you.

You hesitantly hop inside, seeing as how your boyfriend was too excited to drive around with you to wait until another day.

It was, in fact, a better time to drive around right now than doing so in broad daylight. There'd be less risks of having any cameras on you, and Junmyeon would have to let you both into his place whether he liked it or not, so why not?

"Drive safely, though," you lean over the middle compartment and place a hand against Sehun's cheek, turning him to face you as you planted a gentle kiss against his lips.

"Don't worry," he giggles, "your safety is my priority."

Not more than ten minutes later, you find yourself in the middle of an otherwise empty highway, and Sehun is slowly increasing the speed of the car.

"Sehun," you clutch your seat belt and grab the side of the car, "you're going...so...FAST!!"

Sehun smirks, bringing the car to almost 100 MPH.

The loud sound of the car's raging engine fills the highway as the boy excitedly swerves to the farthest left lane, the fast lane. He passes a few cars as they honk at him angrily, but he seems to be very comfortable and in-control behind the wheel.

"SEHUN!!"

You shriek in fright and excitement as the boisterous boy laughs at you, but eventually he slows the car back down to the speed limit.

"Sehun, you're so annoying," you say, turning your knees and body away from him.

"C'mon, I'm a good driver," he smirks, turning to you. You instead cross your arms and ignore him.

"You don't trust my driving?" he reaches over and places a hand gently against your thigh, and you really can't ignore him when he's this gentle.

"You worry me when you drive like that," you say, placing your hands above his. "Just be safe."

"Fine, I won't do that anymore," he says, placing his hand over yours and bringing them both on top of the gear shift.

"You know," you say, turning sharply towards him, "you drove like that a little too comfortably. What have you been doing with this car in your free time!?"

He smirks and bites his lower lip, turning his attention to the road in front of him.

"Sehun!"

"Alright, okay, I admit, I like driving fast," he says slyly.

"Yeah, I almost didn't notice," you roll your eyes. "What's the fastest you've gone, anyway?"

"Only 130 MPH," he says, almost defeated.

"SEHUN!!!"

He giggled some more and wraps his hand tight around yours.

"I won't drive fast again," he says.

"You better promise me that!"

The boy smiles, not saying anything.

"Promise me!"

"I promise I won't drive stupidly fast," he says, blowing you a kiss.

At the very least, deep deep down, he loved you enough to mean it.

How getting drunk with Exo be like (my opinion)

Minseok: 10/10

He likes a good drink, and he will be down to drink with you. It will be a Saturday night when you suggested to go for a drink and he agreed. You guys went to your favorite spot and ordered a few drinks, with Minseok Drinking is always fun, but he will be the responsible one between you both. He will make sure you are safe and comfortable and will not let you off his sight.

Junmyeon: 10/10

With Junmyeon, it will be kind of hard. He will want to stay sober so he can take care of you, especially if it’s somewhere public. But if it’s at home, he might get lost a little. He will have a few glasses of wine or beer depending on his mood. He will still take care of you and make sure you don’t do something stupid. He will also make sure you don’t throw up on yourself.

Yixing: 8/10

He will be down to drink with you; he will also be a sad, clingy drunk who will probably sit down in a corner looking confused. Well, you drunkly talk to him; he will also get sleepy, so you will have to take care of him. When he’s drunk, he will tell anyone who hears him about his eight brothers and how cool they are; he might show them his favorite Exo dance.

Baekhyun: 6/10

He was the one who came to your place with drinks. He was stressed from work, so he wanted to "relax.” At first, he’s acting normal, but then he will get super sad and cry about god know what. He will also get mad and try to leave your place, saying he should go. You will have to seat him down because he's acting up.

Jongdae: 100000/10

His a chill drunk, he will start to sing out of nowhere and will show off his good singing skills. He will also be giggling about nothing, then get up from his seat and start to dance and sing. His just a really happy drunk, you will not get bored with him.

Chanyeol: -2000/10

At first, it’s all jokes and games. He will be laughing and joking. He will be doing a happy dance and singing in a funny way, but then he will do a 360-degree turn and be a crying mess. He will want to be held. He will be said about the most stupid thing ever. He is really a sad drunk, so if you're getting drunk with him, you will need to hug him and make sure he knows his loved.

Kyungsoo: 2/10

He's not much of a drinker, but when he gets quiet drunk, he will sit down and judge the shit out of people. He will look like he’s angry, but he’s just drunk. He will also talk in a low voice and get annoyed at everything and everyone.

His a happy drunk he will be singing, dancing, jumping, you name it he will also be hugging you every few seconds he will show off his dance and singing skills he will also make you dance with him will laugh at you if you do a dance move wrong he might be drunk but even so he’s still a great dancer and will make fun of you for not dancing like him

He will be talkative when drunk and will talk about his dog and his hyungs. He will also be a show-off; he will show how much his hyungs spoiled him and will make fun of you if you do anything stupid or if you talk nonsense. i think, fundamentally, all of them would try to reassure you somehow, like in their own way.

minseok: he would keep his hand attached to yours under the table, caressing your knuckles to make you feel less nervous. he would also ask his parents to go easy on you, as he knows how shy you can be.

junmyeon: whenever his parents aren't looking, he would lean in and whisper how well you're doing, besides giving you a kiss or two on your cheek. when you have to talk to his parents, answering questions or just being polite, junmyeon has the biggest smile on his face.

yixing: he lets his parents know that you're shy beforehand, so they won't pressure you in any type of way. he rarely presents a girlfriend to his parents, so when he does they know it's because that person means a lot to yixing - and the last thing he wants is for his parents to go all "are you the future mother of our grandchildren?" on you.

baekhyun: he tries to comfort you through physical touch as well, either is by resting a hand on your thigh or just being really, really close to you. he speaks about his mom with such love, i really think she might be a great person who can tell when someone's getting shy, so you can also count on her to make you feel better.

jongdae: his smiles are the only thing you need to know you're doing fine. like junmyeon, he would take his time to tell you to not worry, that his parents are loving you - which they truly were. he would also laugh a little bit harder at your jokes, just to make you win extra points with his parents.

chanyeol: i mean, have you seen him? have you seen his sister and mom? there's no way that family is making you feel uncomfortable. in fact, if chanyeol lets them know in advance that you're shy, his mom might even suggest you meet yoora first, and then her and his dad. but through it all, chanyeol has an arm around your shoulders and fingers brushing your arm.

kyungsoo: he can be quite shy himself, so he would ask his parents to please, just play it cool. he doesn't touch you or whatever, but he does give you little smiles from time to time. he also doesn't let his parents try any trick on you, which means that if any of them asks you something that might make you uncomfortable, he's more than ready to just say "mom/dad, don't". he respects your boundaries.

jongin: he tells you a million times that there's no reason for you to be that shy around his mom and sisters. having their approval over you means a lot to jongin, so he does everything he can to make you comfortable and talkative towards his family - he might even ask his mom to tell you embarrassing stories from his childhood, so you'll laugh and maybe loosen yourself a little bit.

sehun: similar to jongin, but their parents will tell you embarrassing stories about him on their own. he makes sure you're okay every minute, silently asking you if you wanna go home. he loves you to the point that, if you regret marking that dinner with his parents, he'll just excuse the two of you and mark it again in the future.

(This is really just a future reference for me when writing fics to keep things at least somewhat consistent and while thinking about this I had some fic ideas so hopefully I'll remember when I come back to this lol)

Anyway, a couple word before we start:

Some of these are based on the stuff that’s shown in MVs or that were mentioned in official contents, some are just me fucking around

Because of who I am as a person, I imagine the X-EXOs would all have stronger powers than EXOs - as in the powers they share would be stronger (e.g. no limit in how much amount of water X-EXO Suho can create before getting tired) and they’d have some skills EXOs just don’t have

Suho / Suhø

Power: Water

Water creation & manipulation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - He can create water and manipulation it’s shape, move it and stuff - It’s canon that in Obsession, Suho drains water from Suhø’s body so that’s another way they could use their power - maybe on smaller scale to cause some health issues - By manipulation the surface tension, they could make it possible to walk on water I suppose - Maybe this could also do with increasing/decreasing humidity in the air if they wanted to make their job easier and just synthesize water from moisture in the air? - Adding to that ^ (I guess) it’s also canon that part of what they could do is make rain - Manipulation of liquids based on their water content - the higher it is, the easier it would be

Weakness: Dry areas

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Water breathing - Listen, I’m just putting this here on the off-chance that I get to write something with EXO fighting against X-EXO because I want the angst of Suho drowning despite his power literally being water

Liquids manipulation - And since blood is and the liquids in human body are mostly water… perhaps some leverage over movements of a person, not enough to order them around, but maybe enough to make it a bit of a challenge to disobey his wishes (just to make it fun)

Xiumin / Xiūmin

Power: Frost

Ice creation and manipulation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - So that’s freezing stuff and people, but also creating ice out of nothing, moving it around, shattering it into smaller pieces and all that - Moving objects covered in ice (but only if it doesn’t shatter under the weight of the moved object)

Can create hail and snow storms

Lowering temperature - Idk if this is canon or not tbh, but why not, seems logical 

Weakness: Hot areas

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Frost resistance - Again, purely for angst purposes lol

Power boost if he freezes someone to death - That can be healing faster, getting stronger for a limited period of time etc.

Lay / Yïxing

Power: Healing

Healing - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - Healing himself, others, living things through touch (physical injuries and diseases only, not mental illness - Can heal either completely or just partly - Regeneration takes a toll on a body so the beings he helps are exhausted afterwards based on how much healing he does

Enhanced self-regeneration

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Immortality - Not completely immortal, but basically yeah... really hard to kill - more so than regular Lay, his healing would be faster, he doesn’t age

Overhealing - You know what happens when the cells don’t grow as they’re supposed to despite cell growth being important for regeneration…

Reverse healing - He can cause all sorts of damage to alive beings through touch - cause bruising, cuts, break bones, speed up aging of the organism - Can cause injuries and some types of disease but not stuff like the flu, covid etc.

Lifesteal

Baekhyun / Baëkhyun

Power: Light

Light creation & reduction - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - He can create balls of light in the mvs but let’s say he can produce light on a larger scale as well and reduce it, make it disappear - Can blast light - He can light up his own body as well

Illusions - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned.

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Light manipulation - He can manipulate the intensity and colors of light, meaning he could remove colors from the world - Enhanced abilities - can limit the disappearance of light and all of the above to a certain target aka person

Sharper senses - Other than sight, he’d have sharper senses since he’s used to living without his sight when he gets rid of light - And as a little side note for future me to consider: Baëkhyun being more sensitive to touch

Chen / Chën

Power: Thunder

Electricity creation and manipulation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - He can create sparks of electricity at will, I suppose he could use to attack or overload electronics, use them without being plugged in etc.

Lightning - According to the official mvs, he can also bring storms and lightning, probably manipulate it as well

Weather manipulation - canon - can cause storms, hail and “other various weather phenomena” - immune to any and all weather conditions

Magnetic field creation

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Conducting (or not) electricity through his body

Physiological changes - look I’m not a doctor but according to one Film Theory, you could erase someone’s memories by using electricity on their brain and that’s a great power to have for angst purposes so… - also a lot of stuff in the human body depends on some form of electricity so he could have a lot of fun with that

Chanyeol / Chanyeøl

Power: Fire

Fire creation and manipulation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - Can either set things on fire or just create balls of fire regardless of the conditions (e.g. lack of oxygen wouldn’t be a problem), envelop his body in fire etc., move the flames as he wishes - or he can extinguish them

Fire resistance

Rising temperature - Idk if this is canon or not tbh, but why not, seems logical 

Weakness: Cold areas

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Enhanced fire skills - He can create fire that cannot be extinguished by anyone but him - Can manipulate the temperature and color of his own flames

Fire and heat resistance

Power boost if he burns someone to death - That can be healing faster, getting stronger for a limited period of time etc.

Power: Force

Superior physical strength - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned.

Force - Also canon - He can manipulate object like he’s using telekinesis, lift them with invisible force, crush them, throw them, make them fly - Can manipulation mass, shape, form - He can also change gravity - make it stronger, lighter, so he could potentially make himself levitate and fly (sort of and it’d take quite a lot of effort and concentration I suppose)

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Force fields

Enhanced stamina and durability(?) - Enhanced stamina + can harder his body so he cannot be harmed, reinforced bones, his skin is harder to cut and get through - If hit, can use the power of the impact to enhance his own attack but it has to be done immediately

Kai / Kāi

Power: Teleportation

Teleportation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - Can also teleport other people, objects and energy from one place to another

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Enhanced control  - can delay the teleportation for a second or less - can teleport just a part of the thing - either with damage or without → people can live without being harmed if i.e. only their arm is ported

Sehun / Sehůn

Power: Wind

Wind creation and manipulation - Pretty self-explanatory, also canon as far as official lore is concerned. - Can create breeze or a tornado, can change the direction and strength of blowing wind and use it to change trajectory of object in the air - Can enhance hearing and sense of smell through bringing scents and sounds closer to him - for himself or others

X-EXO exclusive abilities:

Air manipulation  - can manipulate but not really change (i.e. add or subtract elements) the content of the air - so he can make certain area of air more oxygen-rich by making another less oxygenated, can manipulate the air itself (create vacuum, decrease or increase volume), air resistance 

Levitation - can levitate and fly using the strength of the wind/air but it takes a lot of effort and practice

HELLO, I haven't received an EXO request in a while! I'm so excited. This one is pretty long so I hope you enjoy it!

“I can’t do this anymore”, Baekhyun yelled as he slammed his fist down on the counter. You were separated by the kitchen island in his apartment. The two of you had been fighting for weeks over anything and everything. You knew it was stress. He had been booked and busy and so had you. Though you had an apartment of your own, the two of you spent the majority of your time at his place. So the past few weeks between your busy schedules consisting of studio sessions, photoshoots and variety show appearances, you would come home late, crawl into his bed regardless if he was home or not. 

For a little background, you had been together for three years. You met Baekhyun backstage at an award show. You had been in a successful group at the time and had just gone solo. You remembered being a nervous wreck that night as you were waiting backstage ro start your performance. He had been waiting with the rest of his members for their own performance, and had been subtly watching you from across the room. It sounded cliche but that was the truth. And although he knew of you, he had never spoken to you but he could tell you were nervous and needed some reassurance. So he stood up, put his hands in the pockets of his dress pants and started to slowly make his way over to you. The thing was, you had been so lost in your own thoughts that you hadn’t even noticed that he was now hovering over you as you sat on the edge of the bench in the waiting area. He took notice of how distracted you were so he cleared his throat in an effort to get your attention, which fortunately for him worked. You looked up, startled to see him standing over you. At first you thought he needed to get past you, so you scooted away and ushered with your arms for him to walk past you. Though all that did was make him laugh and motion no with his hands before he sat down next to you. 

“I can tell you’re nervous”, he said, his voice soothing, you felt yourself relax a bit as you stared into his eyes. “You have nothing to worry about, you have a beautiful voice and your songs are good. I can’t go anywhere without hearing them, people love you.” You shyly thanked him but shook your head no. 

“Thank you for trying to cheer me up but everyone who already went on has a better set than me, I think I’ll be the underwhelming performer of the night.” To that he looked at you with confusion. It was that kind of Are you serious? look.

“I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion, but you’re wrong. I know you’ll do great. And by the way, we all get nervous, it doesn't matter how many times you’ve performed, or if you’re in a group or alone, it’s always nerve-racking, but you’re here for a reason. That reason is because you can sing.”, Baekhyun said as he playfully nudged you before standing up. But before he went back to his group, he looked back at you and gave you a wink. Not going to lie, he made you blush. And he did reassure you because 15 minutes later you were on stage and you killed it. The next day all you saw on the news was praise. And later that night you exchanged phone numbers with Baekhyun and the rest was history. 

It was great for almost all of your relationship but since Baekhyun had been having problems with his company and was planning on leaving, things had become a little tense. For the first two years you had kept things private. But at the start of your third year together you both had come to the conclusion that you were sick of hiding and wanted to go public, so you did. It was rough the first few weeks and the headlines were brutal. You had never had much heat in your career, the only negative press you had ever received up until that point was your group’s disbandment. Especially since your solo career had done so well, some people claimed you sabotaged the group. It hurt, mainly because it wasn’t true, but you had survived it. And the same went for your relationship. Some people were mad, but you both survived it. But now you were getting nervous. It seemed like you and Baekhyun had been moving towards a breakup. But that was the last thing you wanted. But right now, you weren’t so sure you knew what Baekhyun wanted. 

Your voice quivered, “W-what do you mean you can’t do this anymore”, tears welled up in your eyes but you refused to let them fall, you had to show him that you were confident, confident that this phase of your relationship would pass. 

“Y/n, I can’t keep doing this. WE can’t keep doing this. The constant fighting. I come home, we talk and an hour later something sets one of us off.”, you knew he had a point. You looked at him from across the counter. He had dark circles under his eyes, which weren’t from you, but the stress from work, but the unstable homelife probably wasn’t helping, you had to admit. His hair was disheveled and he was wearing a baggy t-shirt. 

It was 12 in the morning and you should’ve been asleep but as the two of you had been laying in bed an hour ago, just as you were starting to drift off, Baekhyun told you as he held you in his arms, half asleep, that he had to go overseas for two months for a new project. You sat straight up from the shock of the news and your eyes that were fighting to say open a minute ago were now bugging out. 

“I’m sorry what”, you snapped. “You just came back from filming something in L.A? Now you’re leaving again. I think I’ve seen you maybe a handful of times this year. And I can’t remember the last time we went on a date.” His response? A sigh. You couldn’t believe it. He was acting like you were crazy and that just made you angrier. So now you’re here, standing across from him, an hour later. And though you hadn’t looked in a mirror, your own appearance mimicked his. You had eyebags to match his, your hair looked like a hairbrush hadn’t been through it in days even though you had just brushed it that morning, you were in your sweatpants and one of his shirts. You both looked stressed. You had your own problems too. Your album had been delayed another three months and your fans, though very loyal to you, not to mention protective, were starting to get impatient considering this was the second delay of your comeback. 

You felt like he didn’t care. And that he wasn’t the same man from three years ago that came up to you in the waiting area and reassured you despite the fact he didn’t have to. 

You took a sharp inhale, tears blurring your vision, you knew you were reaching your breaking point. Something had to change. “So…what do you want to do? Breakup? Take a break? Go to bed and talk about it in the morning?”, you were throwing out as many possibilities as you could, though you hated the first two options, you knew you had to consider them at this point. Baekhyun leaned against the counter behind him. He looked down at the floor for a long while before he looked back up at you. He said nothing, just pursed his lips. Because you knew him so well, you had gotten your answer. You swallowed hard and tried to stop the tears from falling. He came over to you, kissed your forehead and pulled you into his embrace. You breathed him in, melting in his arms. You knew this was the last time you’d have him all to yourself. To feel safe and secure. 

The next morning you packed your stuff up, he drove you to your apartment, came in and got his own things he had left at your place and got ready to leave. 

The two of you stood in the doorway, just looking at each other. Sadness evident on both of your faces. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on your lips. You couldn’t bring yourself to hate him, even after the countless fights. You loved him too much. 

Turns out the three month delay had turned into a sixth month delay of your album. You and Baekhyun had decided to wait a month before announcing the split. The last time you contacted him was over text right after the breakup. You had asked if you should tell your company or not, to which he said he thought you should wait. You were sure why he wanted to hold off on a split announcement. And a small part of you hoped it was because any day now he’d be at your door, a hysterical mess and take back the breakup. But to your dismay that never happened. Between losing the life of your life to a bunch of petty fights and frustrations from your jobs, the stress of the album delays and rerecordings and scrapings of songs had amounted to you falling ill. All the stress you had been under had actually made you physically sick. So you laid low, didn;t really go out and just loathed in your self-pity. It wasn’t until a friend of yours had shown up at your apartment one day and talked some sense back into you. A month later you were officially back. You had your ‘mask’ on, pretending to be strong. Luckily you had recovered fully and you could at least prove to the world that you were healthy. Your long overdue album had reached the top of the charts, everything was going well and your schedule was booked up again. You had work back in your life to fill the void in your heart. But you knew that only one man could truly fill the empty space. And that was life for a few weeks. It wasn’t until you had gone on a talk show and had been asked about those few months you were on hiatus that you finally revealed you had been sick. That your body had been put under too much stress. The interviewer gasped as you nodded. Though you weren’t the biggest fan of oversharing, it did feel good to know that your fans were aware of why you had been gone for so long. All of the support rolled in online. Things were starting to look positive again. 

But everything changed the night the interview aired on TV. You heard a knock on your door. You had been sitting on your couch, scrolling through your phone. The time read 9:08. You were hesitant to even approach your door, but when you looked at the front door camera, you felt your heart race increase. There he was. Baekhyun. You immediately unlocked the door. It swung open and he looked down at you, eyes full of concern. 

“Baekhyun? What are you doing here”, you asked as you stepped aside to let him in. But he stood in the same spot outside of the door. 

“I had no idea you had gotten sick. Why didn’t you call me?”, he asked as he reached for your hands. You looked down for a second. 

“I thought we weren’t on speaking terms anymore”, you whispered. 

“I think the whole breakup thing was a bad idea. I miss you”, he said as his hand caressed your cheek. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him. You felt tears well up in your eyes, you had been holding it in, just how much you had missed him. He still had bags under his eyes. “Have you been sleeping well”, you asked, concern was laced into your question. 

“Is it obvious?”, he responded. You laughed as you brushed a strand of hair out of his eyes. 

“No more fights.” you stated. 

“No more fights”, he repeated. 

“I love you” you said simultaneously.
