experimental doodle inspired by the weirdness of death.
there is lots of stuff happening here these days.

Little doodle of a Deathsong bc I’m thinking about how much more interesting it would be if the Deathsong was a jack of all trades in a sense with it’s luring mechanic. Like, would it be unreasonable to assume that it would be unlikely all they eat is other dragons? The island seemed pretty devoid of any dragons besides the thunderdrums and the victims that were trapped. They would most likely not be able to eat for varying periods of time once they drain up the dragon population on the island or in the surrounding area.
I think it would be cool if the Deathsong was adaptable, able to learn new tunes that hit the right frequency with other life to lure them in like sheep or even humans. Maybe they already are able to do that and I missed that info somewhere.
But I’m just thinking abt how much more interesting that RTTE episode would be if, upon noticing foreign prey( the riders ) in its territory, it fools around with trying out new tunes to lure them in and eventually succeeding( which would lead to the Thunderdrum saving the day like it was originally ). It would give a reason for Hiccup trapping the Deathsong in the cave system ( even if it still isn’t a moral thing to do ) to ensure they can escape the island safely.

The drawings from the poll all shaded in! I was surprised that the last one got the most votes, but then again, it had the most Zim, and you can't go wrong with that. I actually drew those from some pin up poses I found on pinterest. I just really like him as a cute "unassuming human." I really wanted to do the other zim one too, so I did! (it was the runner up so I guess I have an excuse :P)
