Men Behind Closed Doors: Stories For Survival is a film that takes an unflinching look at the lives of men who have endured domestic violence at the hands of women, a topic that remains shrouded in stigma and silence.
With an unconventional recording and editing style, Men Behind Closed Doors presents the harrowing experiences of male survivors, providing them a platform to share their stories of survival and resilience. The documentary also features insights from leading therapists and experts in the field, offering a comprehensive analysis of the psychological and societal impacts of domestic violence against men.

Fotogramas grabados en piedra The anthology film "Fotogramas grabados en piedra" (the English title is "Frames Etched in Stone") premiered on the 27th October 2023 at the first edition of Beija Flor: muestra de cine fílmico y cintas magnéticas. The screening took place at the Museo Antropológico y Arqueológico ex Casa Martínez in Corrientes.
It was later screened on the 25th of November at the "Gran Paternal 12" event. Said screening took place at artist's Paula Pellejero's workshop in the Paternal neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
On march 9, the film was screened at the "Film Exhibition E/02" event, held at Al borde llama in the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
"Frames Etched in Stone" is composed by 7 films I made on Super 8 film between 2018 and 2023. Said films explore different film theories and experimental techniques. Five of these films were previously exhibited as individual films (La Señal Cósimca, PUEDO VER TODO MENOS MIS OJOS, Movimiento Browniano parte 2, Cine serrucho and Cine bisagra) whereas the two remaining ones (Cine oro and Cine timer) were premiered as a part of the anthology.

1min_Teaser_Where the snow-fed Rio del Llano met the edge of the desert from Maria Magnusson on Vimeo.
(2023 Length: 04:56 min) Is a location-specific film, in 2019 I visited the geographical location, Pear blossom Highway in California which is near the Antelope Valley (the armpit of California). A place also known as The Socialist Ruins. Here, Job Harriman, a socialist lawyer who ran for Vice President of the United States, Governor of California and Mayor of Los Angeles, founded in 1914 the cooperative colony - Llano del Rio which means plain by the river and the colony flourished for four years between 1914 to 1918. The cooperative Llano del Rio was a pioneer in agriculture with alfalfa, corn and pear cultivation, among others, and has named the highway - Pear blossom Highway. I have filmed with a Bolex camera and 16 mm black and white high contrast 3378 Kodak film and which I have then painted by hand with ink directly on the emulsion. The film is inspired by Robert Kinmont's photographic series My Favorite Dirt Roads (1969). The sound collage here is also based on Delia Derbyshire's radio program for the BBC - Inventions for Radio Dreams from 1964, but here the people talk about how they dream about a specific place and describe what the landscape looks like in this place.
