It was a normal afternoon, the sunset slowley appearing on the new york sky, the cars driving home from work with honks and beeps, people walking on streets while gossiping, meanwhile under the ground in a abounded train station were the 2 sunset brothers, training, next to them a bit chalk board that showed their points. It was 6-1. Yea Mikey was in bad luck, not in his normal surroundings and mindset, while Raph was determined to set Mikey on his training mood and by that he started teasing him.

When Raph got another point he teased.

Yelled Mikey before using nunchucks (I think that's the name?-) and using their chains to wrapp around Raph and getting him stuck in the orange web of chains. Mikey walked up with his serious expresion before smirking and raising his finger, he started tickling Raphs neck while Raph didn't expect this.

Chapter 8 Spellbound part 2

We all grunt as a block of ice come's right for the castle and sitcks to said castle.

"They're boarding us! We must break free! Steer us at my command!" Merlin yells to us.

"I'm on it!" Douxie says as he runs up to the top of the castle.

Steve then screams. "All of a sudden, flying castles aren't so cool!"

Blinky then screams as he is trying to hold onto Jim. "Master Jim!" Blinky then screams.

"Blinky!" Arrrgh yells.

Blinky then screams as he's holding Jim.

Arrrgh then growls as he grabs Blinky and Jim.

"Have you found the staff?" Blinky question-yelled.

"I'm on it!" Archie yells back.

Arrrgh Then grunts. "Got you, Jim!"

Merlin then grunts as he all most fell. "These foes' powers are beyond us!"

Then I heard a voice I never thought I would here again and it made a small tear roll down my cheek but I wiped it away before anyone could see.

I then heard and seen more shadow mephits comeing down colloms of ice which I never thought I would see again.

"We've got to protect Jim! I'm not losing him again!" Claire says.

"Feel the wrath of the hammer!" Toby yells.

I don't know why or how but I blacked out for a little from my mind going everyway. 'Why where they here? Did they find me? Why don't they listen to what I say? There mind is flawed. I need them to see reason.'

I then woke again to screaming and me holding someones hand I looked up to see Douxie holding my hand and me holding Claire's with her holding Steve's hand as were hanging onto the castle from a colome.

"Jim! Jim!" Claire yells from below us I then see a giant rift in time and I though of only one thing.'Merlin what were you thinking!'

"What do we do, man?" Steve questioned paniced.

"Trust me!" Douxie says as he is about to let go of the colome.

"Don't you dare!" I say as he almost lets go.

We all started screaming as we all fell. Well It was manly Claire, Douxie and Steve, I was just wondering where we are at the moment.

Steve then screams as were all srounded by knights.

A/N: It's my first time writing something like this. With what's going on in Colombia, I needed a way to relay what's happening. This is based on my own experience as well as a variety of testimonies from the protests going on.

This is gonna be long, but I need to do it in one go.

You've been dating Kara for a few months now, when the bulk of the protests started. They have been going on throughout the country, as the current administration kept making terrible decisions in favor of the political elites, while getting an increased pushback from the people. The final blow was a new tax reform that would increase taxes for the middle class, creating greater inequality and the rich to become richer.

You started out as a small-time journalist at CatCo, but slowly you made your way up and now are one of the top political journalist and columnist. However, recently you've been more involved in activism and actually organizing protests in National City.

It was difficult at the beginning, since you felt you had to cover the protest with an unbiased look, but after what you've seen...you took a break from reporting and actually got involved in organizing, deciding to take a sabbatical as to not tarnish your reputation as a journalist. Now, you formed part of a Human Rights brigade in charged of looking out for those protesting on the streets and those who get arrested by the police, as there had been reports that the police were making young protesters disappear without a trace.

Tonight you left early because you had promised Kara that you'll be at game night. You knocked the door tiredly after yet another day of tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets, but you really wanted to see Kara and just be with your friends, trying to cope with how fucked up everything was at the moment.

The door opened to reveal your gorgeous girlfriend with an empathetic expresion on her face.

"Hey baby!" Kara greeted excitedly and hugging you tight.

"Hi Kara" you said quietly into her neck with a small smile on your face. Your girlfriend really could make you feel better with just a small gesture...it was just amazing.

"I'm so glad you could make it" Kara replied, pulling away to let you in.

"Me too, I really needed this." you said, coming into her place and leaving your make-shift shield, helmet, gasmask, and backpack near the door.

"Oh look who it is!" Nia said giving you a smile. You notice that the TV was on, apparently on the news channel covering today's protest. People were still out there, but your mates were keeping watch.

"Sorry I was late guys" you sat down next to Lena, who was getting the Scrabble board ready.

"Don't worry about it, today seem like a difficult day." Alex said a bit tightly.

You were about to reply, but Kara beat you to it.

"Okay, let's play!" She said sitting on the floor between your legs after she gave you a glass of your favorite wine. Leave it to Kara to just know how to make you feel better.

"Get ready to get your ass kicked Danvers." you smirked to Alex.

While you loved Kara so much, your relationship with her sister was a bit strenous as well with her friends, but not because they were bad people of anything. However, as you got more involved in activism, you realized not only how wrong the system was, but more importantly that those in power would do anything to keep it. The problem was that both the Danvers sisters and their friends worked for said government and were part of the system that had been killing, injuring and disappearing people for weeks now.

This is why you chose not to talk about that particular topic, and mentioned very little of your work to your friends, which made things a bit easier. What surprised you however, was the fact that even when they would still defend the government and law enforcement, they did started to see and pay atention to what was actually going on a bit more critically than before.

"And the reign of terror continues!" Kara said as she put in a word that honeslty no one was very sure actually existed, giving her an even greater advantage.

"Oh come on...how is that even a word!" Kelly said laughing at Kara's antics.

You kept playing probably until 1am, when the guys finally dicided it was time to put an end to Kara's reign of Scrabble terror.

You helped Kara put things away and got ready for bed. You immediately looked for her comforting arms, resting your head on her chest.

"You know...I've been thinking." Kara whispered after a while.

"Yeah..." you lifted your head a little to see Kara frowning, as if trying to find the right words to say.

"We were talking with Lena about getting more coverage of the people on the streets."

It takes a few seconds for you to realize what she's trying to say.

"Oh..." you opened your eyes a little. "You mean you wanna cover the protests."

"Yeah, I mean...you're always saying how we actually need to see things for ourselves and not from the news, and what better way than to be on the ground....with you."

"Kara...I'm not sure." you replied, trying to collect your thoughts. "I mean, I think it's a good idea...but if you're gonna do this, you can't turn into supergirl."

"Why not?" Kara asked, looking at you, knowing how easily the streets have turned almost into a war zone. "Y/N if the police is as violent as you say it is, then you guys will need all the help you can get."

"Kara..." you know that what she's saying actually make sense, but the reality is much more complicated. "Please just trust me on this. Under no circumstance you can be Supergirl out there. You'll understand once you start talking to the people." you reasoned with her.

It's been a few days since both you and your girlfriend talked about the protests. You knew that Kara wanted to cover from the streets, but unfortunately Supergirl business got in the way and prevented her from doing so.

Fortunately the past few days the chaos had died down a bit and protesters were able to get a bit of a breather...specially after National City's Pride. But now, tensions were at an all-time high after a human rights organization released an gut-punching report on the countless of abuses from the police and armed forces. You were getting all your gear ready because you know today was gonna be difficult. You packed extra bandages, water, baking soda, among other supplies. It was gonna be a long day.

Then you got the call. Kara had lost her powers fighting something. Solar-flared they call it.

Immediately you left your place and got to the DEO in record time. They already knew you, and while most of the people working there didn't agree with your opinions on the social unrest, they still cared about you...or at least that's what you thought. You saw Kara sitting on a gurney at the medbay. She looked ok, but...human.

"Kara! Are you alright love?" You asked having only eyes for your girlfriend.

"Hey baby...I'm fine." She replied. "Just, you know...human for a few hours."

"I'm glad." you smiled back, then turning to Alex. "Can I take her home?"

"Yeah, she doesn't have any injuries that we need to be concerned about."

"Thanks, Alex." you took Kara's hand. "Come on, I promise we'll get some potstickers on the way."

"Actually Y/N..." Kara stopped you. "Isn't there a major protest today?"

"Uh...yes? Why?" you asked, not sure where she was going.

"Well...I'm human, and you said that we needed to experience what you guys are going through out there...what better way than as a human?"

"No." "Absolutely not." both you and Alex say at the same time.

"Why not?" Kara crossed her arms lifting an eyebrow. "You don't have any powers Y/N and yet you put yourself at risk every day"

"Kara, you're not used to this..."

"Plus, you're too important." Alex complemented, and you simply nodded.

"No. That's crap and you know it." your girlfriend looked more determined than ever, which meant that there was no convincing her. "I'm going."

The Freedom of Expression Ep 25 - Installation of statue kneeling in apology to comfort women statue.

K: Hi, this is Dir en grey's Kaoru starting this week's episode of The Freedom of Expression. Joe san, Tasai san, welcome. Well, this show..im sure the viewers will realise this, but this show has a super low budget.

J, T: Hahaha

J: You're admitting that? Finally?

T: You noticed slightly.

K: Um, we usually record three episodes at once, but for the first one, it takes ages to get the recording started.

T: Hahaha

K: Like, (*imitates trying to fix equipment*) 'Huhh?', 'Oh, come on!'

J: Thats right.

K: They can't get the setup sorted at all, and we three are always just sat here waiting.

J: Yeah, I mean, its getting there, but it does take a while.

K: I mean, look at this! There isn't even a mic stand! You have to place it directly on the desk, and its fallen over how many times since just then!?

J: Its a rare sight these days.

T: For sure.

K: Well, anyway, this kind of analogue is what we have..

J: Yes, yes...let's get on with it and put our hearts into it.

K: Yes, lets do it. Um, also, today..we're recoding this on August 2nd..

J: Yes, and..

K: Tomorrow! Well, really its only in about ten more hours. Well, its on here too...(*gestures to board set up on the desk featuring new single info*)...Dir en grey's new single "Ochita koto no aru sora" will be released.

K: Well, its a digital release...(*mic falls over*) ..Look!

J: Oh, that. That was quick!

T: Amazing, it happened like magic!

K: Hahaha

J: Its like it was trying to.

K: Its because I touched the desk. Anyway, the single will have been released. I'd like everyone to listen if they can.

J: But its the first digital release for Dir, right?

K: Yeah, the first digital only release.

J: Digital only, yeah...as a result of the effect of corona.

K: Well, when we first announced it, stores were trying to implement self-restraint and stuff, so people wouldn't be able to order copies in store, and we didn't know how long this would go on. There would be people who would have to go directly to the store to pick it up, so in order to get it to everyone who wanted to hear it, we thought we should release it digitally. So its only digital.

J: Is this like a message from the band that you are still gonna release material even in times like these?

K: Yeah, like, we could have waited until we were able to release it with packaging, like postponed it without announcing it, and just released it after everything had calmed down, but as a band, we thought that keeping active, and making new material will give is that link to the future. So we decided to release. 

J: The message is just recieving the song, right? I think its really important that the band stays active, so thats the basic message, right? Of course we want everyone to have a good listen to the song.

T: It was cool.

K: Oh, did you listen already?

J: I've listened too.

K: Oh, thank you.

T: The B-side was also cool.

K: Thank you. Ok, well, for today's theme, can I ask you Joe?

J: Yes, well its this news, it appeared in the news at the end of July. In the north east of South Korea, in the province of Gangwon-do, there is a place called Pyeongchang. Its been reported that in the S.Korean Botanical Garden there, a statue seemingly imitating Prime minister Abe kneeling in apology in front of a comfort women statue, has been installed. So, this has become news. After this was reported, Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga said at a press conference on the 28th of July, 'We have not confirmed any actual connection', as well as, 'Its unforgivable in terms of diplomatic relations', and other such strong comments. On the other hand, the S.Korean foreign ministry made the general statement that, 'There is a need to consider international relations in terms of foreign leaders'. They do not support the installation of the statue, but did not outline any specific counter-measures against it. Appearing as a commentator on a TV talk show, lawyer Hideki Yashiro pointed out his opinion that as it gets publicity, being in the Botanical Gardens where the public are free to enter, the statue cannot be viewed in the same way as a private garden installation. He pointed out that failing to intervene when an action to damage diplomatic relations takes place in such a facility, is seen as if its the state's own view, and that the government refusing get involved due to the land being privately owned is unforgivable. Well, this really is 'Freedom of Expression'. The owner of the Garden used his own money to make the statue, but internationally it can been seen as quite offensive. This has become quite a talking point in Japan and online, and similarly, it also has in S.Korea too. Those who think that Japan should be made to apologize, and those who think this is bad timing and could end up worsening relations futher. Even in S.Korea people are split about it in this way. This is the news.

T: I see

J: This is a difficult issue, isn't it.

T: It is difficult. 

J: In what way should we consider this issue? How do you see this news, Kaoru?

K: Hmm, its extraordinary isn't it?

T: Absolutely...but this place Pyeongchang, it was in the news during the Pyeongchang Olympics. There were those 'Bullet Men' statues put up all over, depicting the perfect male form. It became news, like, is this art? What is this? So, this is also in Pyeongchang, so I wondered whether its just Pyeongchang culture or something?

J: Saying like, Pyeongchang makes a lot of statues?

T: Yeah.???*1

J: I see. But the head of this garden created this with his own money, surely there isn't much of a sense of it being art. Persisting with creating this message and putting it in the botanical gardens, doesn't necessarily mean it was made by the state, and I think it would be quite difficult for them to order the removal of the statue. Saying 'You have to remove it', even though it was built with private money, would be quite difficult. But on the Japanese side, Suga san was saying in regards to diplomatic relations 'Why are they deliberately making our country's Abe kneel in submission like that? Well, Suga has said that if this is true, it would have a severe effect on Japanese/S. Korean relations. He's making quite strong comments about this, but I think this may be a performance on Suga's part to maintain support for the increasingly unpopular Abe administration, by criticising S.Korea. He's moving away from freedom of expression to try and maintain his own popularity. So when you ask 'what is the core of this problem?', as soon as it blows up like this online, it becomes difficult to tell. There was a similar occurrence at the Aichi Triennale, and it also blew up online then too. Before you could really get to the bottom of the question of freedom of expresion, it kept on blowning up into completely different issues.

T: Yeah.

J: First it was all about Tsuda Daisuke's blonde hair.... This type of thing came up at this kind of time again, and I somehow thought it would've been better if a proper debate had been able to take place. Well, because there various ways to feel about this.

T: But in the end, I think this will end up hurting S.Korea, cause I know there are various opinions about this, but if they really want Abe or Japan to apologize, if they do it in this way, it may cause a gap to open up between the two sides. I don't think they've thought about it that far.

J: I see.

T: Conversely, it won't end up with any national benefit to the S.Korean people. It seems like it might hold back progress.

K: Well, but..

Kami: Uh..Isn't this quite subtle?

J: Mm, whats your view, Kami?

Kami: In my view, well, Japan and S.Korea don't have a great relationship, do they?

J: Yeh, they don't. Relations are continuing to worsen.

Kami: Because state promises were not kept, thats natural. I agree, that promises should be kept, that goes without saying. But the kneeling statue is probably Abe, right?

T: Well, yeh.

Kami: I think Abe has a lot to apologize for to the Japanese people too.

T: I see

J: Ahh

Kami: But no-one gets angry about that. Breaking promises is sickening, but like, its probably Abe kneeling on the ground right? If this was the Emporor, the symbol of Japan, that would be really bad, wouldn't it? It would be making a fool of all Japanese.

T: I see

Kami: But its Abe, isn't it? Haha.

J: You're really coming down from above today aren't you, Kami?

K: He's really emphasising this, isn't he?

J: He is.

Kami: But all those lies about the Sakura Party, giving money to his friends, using tax money to do it...

T: I see, I see.

Kami: Doing that type of thing, really, he should apologize for it to the Japanese people, I think.

T: I see.

K: But I bet if Kami was invited to the Sakura Party, he would go.

J: He would.

K: He'd recieve money and stuff..he'd go.

Kami: Of course I'd go.

J, K, T: Hahaha

Kami: I'd do the V-sign and get a photo together.

J: They do say that these kind of fence-sitters are unprincipled. He said he was affable! Next time Im asked, I'll say Im affable.

*mic falls off desk*  Ahh, eventually!..The mic just naturally falling here. Essentially, I think he does have things to apologize for to his citizens. And Suga san at the press conference, for sure, there is the problem of how this case will affect international relations, but in regards to the anger of the citizens of this country, he should apologize for things that are slightly different. He should make time for it.

T: Well, there is that too.

J: I started to want to say that. Kami's anger is also quite right.

K: Oh yeh, as for our conversation, I just wanted to go back to what we spoke about previously, in our live broadcast before, we wanted people to ask things to Kami.

The Mystery Research Club

AKA: It was time to give my TW OCs a proper introduction.

Deep in the halls of Night Raven College, on the most intricated place, you’ll find an unknown club. A club that hides away from the most glamorous clubs. A club that was disbanded until a new group of students brought it back to life. This is the Mystery Research Club.

Like the name will tell you, this club consists on investigating mysteries and archiving them. That’s right, they don’t actually SOLVE any of them, just gather information. However, members are welcome to solve any case if they please.

One of the new funders and current president. It’s pretty obvious she competes with Reappina, but she would never admit such a thing. Despite her appearence, she’s actually pretty level headed and prefers using democracy and the power of the masses to solve problems. However, she’s not above using some persuasion to gain her goals.

A very intimidating individual not only for her muscles, but also for her connections. Back at her home, she leads a quite feared gang, which has some members at NRC. The club can enjoy of the protection of these people. Suha also like to inculcate her values into the groups she leads. She strongly belives that you need to gain your possitions and despises nepotism.

Her Unique Magic, “Hidden Treasure”, is one of the responsables of the club’s security. Hidden Treasure  creates a golden coat thas able to seal anything. The seal’s can range from a simple conteiner to a small house. Despite it’s color, it isn’t gold but a tougher material, as the coat is nearly undestructible. Aside from this, Suha isn’t particulary skilled with magic. However, she compensates most of the lack of magic ability with her brute force.  

She seems to have a somewhat tacky taste, with an obsession with golden things.

Reappina Delroy

The second deputy along Suha and one of the new funders. She mostly posses as some kind of secretary and is a great listener. But she’s also known to be a huge diva and can show some really nasty behaiviour.

She prefers the land over the sea and wishes to become famous and travel around the world. Currently, is somewhat famous on teather circles for reviews and song covers.

She has a childhood friend named Benedict who she met when they both moved from their origin land to the Sea of Corals. He has declined to be in the club but would come from time to time to drop stuff.

Her Unique Magic “Negation Bubbles” is specially usefull for gaining information. It creates bubbles that are able to isolate sounds and record them and can be used to silence others.The only way to deactivate them it’s either she vanishing them or using a more destructive magic to destroy them. Like Suha, she isn’t that great in magic and neither cares.

With “ Breath of Life “  Dahlia is able to give, take and store vital energy from other beings. For now, it only seems to work with plants and technology, but she’s experimenting with celular regeneration. She can´t to give energy to things that are uncapable of working. Out of all the members, she’s the most powerful on the magical field.

One of the club’s most important members. This is due to 1) her family’s influence, and 2) actually trying to solve cases. Her most important case, however, is breaking the family curse that will turn her into a pig. 

Besides the club,  she has to deal with the responsabilities as a heir to an Earl. She’s kinda infamous for having some bad blood with her dorm leader.

Despite it’s name, “Soupy Love” is actually one of the most destructive magic’s. It releases potent clouds of a strange red dust that erodes magic. Other effects of this dust go from numbing senses to fatal injuries. Due to it’s impredictable behavior, she uses an item, the Pepper Grinder, to have better control of it. It’s one of the few Magic’s able to dissolve “Hidden Treasure” or “Negation Bubbles”

The “Why Are You Even Here?” member.  She mostly uses the club as an excuse to gain information of others. Another reason seem to be her amusement of Grenetine.

She has one of the most troublesome magic’s;  “Eye for an eye” makes any attack received will be returned with the double of damage. However, a side effect is that the more damage, the more bloodthirsty she becomes. Thankfully for everyone, this ability is sealed on her mouth guard named Anti Mouth Guard. Whenever she puts it on, it realeases the magic.

Rumour says that she gets paid to watch over the second prince.

If there’s one thing she good at, that would be arts. She also seems to be fond of grotesque or broken plushies.

Her new favorite hobby is to tease Calamaria due to an extremely obvious chrush.

“Practical Swindler” is able to recongnise any magical item, how it to use it, secondary effects and, most importantly, how to steal it. The whole complete analysis takes up to five minutes but a simple one may take up to two. For some reason, she seems allergic to control types of magic (mind control, love spells, etc).

You can watch this program here Notes before reading: If you haven’t watched any of the programs or you are not familiar at all with The Freedom of the Expresion, you will be a bit lost because they make some references to previous programs. The program has sudden edited cuts, that’s why the topic changes suddenly without any introduction. This program was previously a radio show with about 70 episodes from 2015 to 2016. You can find most of them in youtube.

For parts with subs, I tried to do a literal translation but for parts without subs I felt more confident summarizing it as translating one by one got confusing and too long. I skipped some bits and lots of “hahaha” and “sou desu ne”.  Be aware that at some parts, their talk is really random.

Feel free to correct me if you spot any mistake or any confusing as they are talking so casually and relaxed that it’s hard to get some parts.

Joe: That’s is, yes…. but it’s not a feeling, I think that it’s certainly something we did (laughs)

Kaoru: It looks like that right?

Kaoru: About Freedom of Expression….

God: Wait, Wait, Wait, Wait…

Kaoru: Yes? Yes?

God: Well…God has come down….

Joe: Ah, it’s God (laughs)

Kaoru: By himself…. (laughs) I thought about if he would come here in case it came down…

Joe: Usually it does! If you call him, god will come down (laughs) A god that comes down by himself at his own convenience.

Kaoru: Was that stance made before? Before I guess he should be preserved a bit more…

Joe: It can’t be helped that he comes out….

God: It’s because I’m off night duty.

Kaoru: He did that before right?

Joe: Still having a night shift job? Are you really a God?

Kaoru: It’s been a long time, right?

God: That is…well…it’s seasonal…

Joe: This season is the night shift season?

God: No, it’s not like that…

Tasai: You did a job that paid 1000 yen per hour….

God: That is, that is…But the hourly wage was raised a little! You can say it’s like a holiday break…. the income has decreased (tears)

Joe/Tasai: Yes

*Before getting into the main topic, Kaoru asks Tasai about a person who was with Bishibashi. It seems to be someone called Hiranabe who “it’s like a beast” according to Tasai. Then, Joe proceeds to tell a strange story (I think about this Hiranabe person?) *

Joe: When some celebrity passes away, he would call me and ask, “was this person your acquaintance?”. When I reply, “I barely knew them”, he suddenly hangs the phone (laughs)

Tasai: That’s mean

Joe: He is a mean person!

Tasai: That Hiranabe has finally been promoted by the director…

Joe: Eh? What is he now?

Tasai: Board member….

Joe is shocked while Kaoru asks if that it’s ok.

Kaoru: I want to find news that have been attracting attention under the concept of Freedom of Expression…

*The topic is about Haruna Fuka, internet personality, former child actress. She seems to have a twitter account since she was just 9 years old (she is now 19) and she has used SNS to be open and vocal about several social topics. The topic now is that she filed a lawsuit against someone who slandered her in the net. It seems that someone posted that “her parents failed/ are a failure” and she and her mother filed a lawsuit asking for economic compensation. It seems that also some of her personal information was leaked. The discussion of the topic is mostly about the “price of fame” and how it can’t be helped that being famous you are exposed to this kind of things. Joe states discuss “at which point it becomes defamation” and it is not freedom of expression in SNS. He says that it might be difficult to draw a legal line online, but if that it’s not done, it can’t be helped that it gets worse. Then he asks Kaoru what he thinks about it, and he says:

Kaoru: Like, for example people write in SNS like they were talking with their friends in a room…. it’s better not to look at it (what people says) right?

Joe is like “But it’s real people, right?” and then ask if Kaoru searches himself and Kaoru says he doesn’t but he hears it from the staff that checks it so he kind of knows.

Tasai: When you are in the show business, from 100 opinions, 98 or 99 are good ones, but when there is one nasty/hateful one, it really comes through your eyes and hurts your heart.

Joe asks him as a Tokyo sports journalist. Tasai mentions how you can report it (I think?) like you can inform a legal corporation. Then, Joe again makes the million-dollar question.

Joe: How far it’s ok to guarantee the freedom of expression for tweeting? I think it’s a difficult thing.

Kaoru: Tweeting is about expressing yourself, right?

Joe: Of course, originally.

Joe adds that tweeting has an influence in things. He says that nowadays in Japan is like a hot water boiler when a topic comes out. He understands it especially for important topics, but he thinks that it’s just complaining and not trying to solve anything at all. Later, Kaoru says that it can be helped that you focus on the bad sides, even if, as Tasai said before there are 99 good things and just one bad. They go back to the Haruna Fuka topic and mention some extra information about her lawsuit.

Joe: I made an Instagram account for myself and most of the times when social things are done at The Dave Fromm Show! YouTube Channel and the topic is raised, my followers decrease…Finely, they decrease. They are going up and when the channel is updated next week, each time that is updated, they decrease. Treating with social topics….

They discuss again about Fuka. Joe says something about young people complaining mostly in SNS and at some point, he is like “when I say young people, it feels like we are old” and they laugh, and he adds that it feels like there are 3 taboo topics: 1. Gender discussions 2. Political discussions and 3. Things that we hate to talk about but we have to talk about.

Around 13:05, God is back.

Joe: What do you think about it, God?

Kaoru: Is God there?

God: You know, God keeps being slandered right?

Everyone laughs.

God: Like God’s liar, even if I tell God there is nothing that he can do…. they even say that there is no God!…

Joe: I see, you are denied…

God: If you care about those things, you lose…

Joe: I see, do you search for yourself, God?

God: I do!

Everyone laughs.

God: There is only those things when I do research

Joe:  Surprisingly, God knows how to handle SNS really well…

God: I do!

Tasai: God is amazing…

Joe: Does God use Iphone as one would expect?

God: I have two

Tasai: He owns two!

Joe: God has two (laughs) *makes gesture on having one phone in each hand* That’s so cool

God: It is! It is! I don’t use them while I’m working though…

Tasai: You signed a contract (laughs)

Joe: He is God, right? (laughs) I don’t know if this God is amazing or not…

God: If you care about those things, you lose!......It’s better to be hated than being indifferent!

Kaoru ask God about playing video games for an hour and God answers that its good that there are so many kids that are good with games? The answer seems to let Kaoru and Joe a bit confused. God adds that it’s better to become good with games quickly, which Kaoru replies jokingly with something like “if you are not good, it’s better not to play them?” and God replies “it’s better, it’s better”.  

God: It’s like playing during a whole day and not being able to clear the game.

Kaoru: Because it’s a waste of time, right?

They talk about it a bit more.

Joe: Well, due to night shift, there is a feeling of tiredness right?

Kaoru: we are tired too. We were told to finish early

Joe: Sure! (laughs)

Kaoru: We have to make it interesting right?

God: I heard it was interesting…

Joe: Oh thank you!

They comment that they are being praised by God.

God: You can’t say that God is a liar!

Tasai: Please write that it was interesting in your SNS.

God: Yes, yes.

Joe: Please do it…

God: I’m pretending to be a human in SNS, so they don’t know I’m God…

Kaoru: It was the first program of The Freedom of Expression…how was it?

Joe: Doing the program after a long time feels fresh…

Kaoru/Tasai: That’s it!

Joe/Tasai: I’m happy…

Kaoru: Well…. mmm…. we started it with that feeling (laughs)…..but this time there is a only camera, right? This background with nothing on it…. if a a lot of people watch us…at this place…

Joe: A little more…

Kaoru: The number of cameras might increase…

Joe: Oohhh…

Kaoru: I don’t know how much Joe’s fee for appearance will be…

Joe: Eh? Is that so? (sweats) Today’s fee is written here…

Kaoru: It might be lower…

Okay so these posts.

1. Luka is now kind of in the "squad" presumably after the party in the Agreste mansion, since I don't think Alya, Alix and Rose would be so warm around him if the only interaction they had was listening to him play some music, and marinette liking him (plus he's juleka's brother but she doesn't mention him, like, at all. ever.)

2. Alya seems more on board with Lukanette now, since she took an obvious picture of them together, where it's clear that Luka is staring at marinette fondly + with her face expresion like that. Maybe because of Puppeteer 2.0 & Adrien liking another girl? I imagine Marinette would've told Alya about that..

3. Alya is also photographing inside the cinema, which, isnt that illegal?

4. Luka and Marinette are sitting at the far end of the seats. You know, the worst seats for seeing the movie? It's probably fine for marinette, since she knew she was tired & didn't care much, but Luka probably wasn't really interested in seeing the movie either, since he's looking at her even when she's asleep & chose the worst seat for actually seeing the movie. (Also, he's sitting at least two seats away from his sister (three if we assume Nino is next to Alya, since they're dating) but just happens to sit next to Marinette?)

Jolt drive reference for TFP

Name: Jolt Drive nicknames: Jolt, J.D, Stardust, Princess (she hates the following: kid, kiddo, Jojo ) faction: neutral (former), Autobot (alliance) Designation number: JD-16394-Ne age: late teens aprox. (18-19) gender: femme alt. mode: 2017 Corvette Z06 C7 family: Linear range (younger brother), Timewarp (carrier/mother), Wrecktrain (sire/father), Mirage/dino (cousin) theme song: "Ring of Fire" - Krewella Height: a head shorter than Bumblebee aprox. Weight: 1,600 kg aporox. personality: everyone who meets her, for some reason, says Jolt Drive reminds them of an anime girl, particularity one from the "Maho Shojo" genre. She's cheerful and has an optic for detail. She is know to have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD or Autism) which in some ways does affect her behavior. she can't pick up on metaphors straight away or if there is a social rule she doesn't know of involved in something. when she gets excited, she 'stims' by fanning her servos close to her face and bouncing. loud unexpected noises are her biggest issue. she cowers and covers her audio sensors when she hears a noise that overwhelms her. music at a certain volume, car revving and jet engines are completely fine. but sirens and chatter are a no. she's clever and intelligent and can pick up on certain patterns (like how a building might be structured). she's also a very good puzzle solver. she can't make decisions quickly so she often needs time to think. she always puts other needs before her own, which has lead her into trouble in the past. sometimes she puts on a childish demeanor to see if she can trust someone. she's also super fidgety. she's very creative. she loves drawing and designing and music. to break up her creative subjects in her education, she took chemistry which allows her to solve more issues. she can make links to other things but sometimes she makes mistakes. she is also very difficult to alterations in a routine that she always has to stick to and has issues concertinaing more that what should be required. she also hates being belittled. overall, she's someone who just want others to be happy, even if it means she'll be in danger herself. stats: Strength:6 Intelligence:9 Speed:3 Endurance:8 Rank:6 Courage:3 Firepower:5 Skill:4 Armor:1 weapons: -the 'Bellona' a light machete which she can use in close combat or for throwing when needed. it's a very old sort of thing, but she treasures it dearly as it was the first weapons she designed entirely. she even decorated it herself. she named it after the roman goddess of the chaos of war. the blade is lilac purple hard light and the handle is purple metal with magenta decals. - the 'Mars' a small dagger for emergencies. it's more like an army knife in how it retracts into the handle, so she uses it for when she needs to escape from something. she named it after the roman god of war. the blade is silver metal and the handle is purple metal with magenta decals - the 'Eris'  this is her blaster which transformers from her right arm. she uses it occasionally since she prefers the 'Bellona', but she has it around. of course she locks it away unless it's absolutely necessary. it only fires two bullets at the same time in the barrel.   - the 'Hermes' a weapon she's very rarely used. the blaster transforms from her left arm and can fire 6 bullets in the barrel.  it's heavy for her arm and too much fire power for her. thus she doesn't use it unless she needs to. - intelligence be very careful around jolt drive. her mid is as deadly as her weapons. she can recognize facial expressions and body language which can tell her if someone is lying. - her pigtails if jolt swings her pigtails hard enough, they can hit someone. backstory: Jolt drive was forged/born into a normal cybertronain family. she had a loving sire and carrier and younger brother. her extended family loved her too. they supported her a lot in her younger years. as time grew on she found out about her diagnosis of autism and how people also on the spectrum were being treated. She wanted that discrimination to end so she decided to take up a career that would make her famous to stop this stigma. Balancing her studies, she took up music and became an Iacon sensation. She was also a great student at the Iacon academy of arts. She studied design courses, taking up chemistry to balance out her creative studies. She was going well until an arson attack during a meeting she was attending would stop her in her tracks. She got caught under rubble which knocked her unconscious. she was very lucky to have made a loud enough scream for rescue crews to realise she was there. an apprentaice medic named Arborne save her life who she then became best friends with. she then weant on to being a famous cybertronian musician an gained lots of fans. she loved collaborating with other artists and everything seemed to be going well for her. that was short lived though. soon the war came and Iacon put a ban on entertainment in fears of propaganda spreading. Jolt Drive then started an aliiance of enetertainers taking shelter from the war. this was a faliure as the cybertronian concil thought she was going against them and threatended her with empurata. without having a source of income to help keep stuff running in the alliance and energon on the planet running low, they had no choice but to flee. the llaince, and jolt drive, fled cybertron to a different planet occupied by other neutrals. there, they settled and jolt started up her career again, until fate started to march back in. they were going to be discovered by undercover Iacon agents when the planet they were on was going to collide with a larger one. jolt flea to her ship but a malfunction occurred in which it locked early and no one else could get on board. trying to figure out how to get the locks to open again, she accidentally set a course for earth, stranding her friends. the distance put her in stasis before she crashed onto earth. she was discovered by autobots months after her crash. she had woken up and learned how to survive by herself on the supplies she had. the autobots offed her a second place to stay, aside from her ship and she agreed to an alliance to that team. on the condition she share her energon and doesn't give away their base to the decepticons. she agreed, mainly because she wanted some company. mirage was involved in that team and had renamed himself 'Dino' due to his fascination with Italy upon arriving to earth as well as to hide himself from a decepticon he once exposed who may be after him. jolt immediately recognized Dino and was thrilled to see her cousin again. this actually made jolt feel more comfortable with the autobots since she had a relative around if something were to happen to her. she explained that she lost all communication with her team because of how damaged the communications got upon impact. upon finding out that the alliance suffered the same when they tried to leave the planet, jolt made a promise to restart the allaince and honor it in the legacy of her (what she assumed to be) fallen friends. now, with her cousin, Dino and the help of the autobots, she's surviving the war and trying to create a safe heaven for the oppressed and disabled. but little does she know, her friends are alive and well and are looking for her. until she does, she's only got Dino and the autobots. as long as they're nice to her and respect her, she feels safe. extra: - she is a cancer (zodiac) - her 'birthday' in human time is 20th of July - her birthstone is a ruby - she is bilingual, knowing English and Italian - her 'fangs' don't resmble snake fangs. they actually resemble cat fangs - her gas mask is meant to resemble cat whiskers. the lights are the wiskers and the filter is the cat nose - her visor has many functions including analysing facial expresions, calculating routes, reading stats on a weapon, internet access and many more.

Some Final thoughts to inspire you,

When you start reading about these articles consider how these rights affect yourself and your community and the world at large.

One example would be article Article 4 ,

“ No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms. “

When you think about this article , our first thought is maybe the american slavery of African Americans and Native Americans. Beyond that historical content, how can we understand this article in present terms?

Think about human trafficking or drug trafficking which brings countless of individuals who are suffering through poverty from third world countries into different parts of the world. Think about child labor.

This situation is still happening in parts of the worls.

In India children are used in sweatshops for cheap labor.

In Africa child labor is used to mine diamonds and for chocolate plantations.

Watch the video below the talks about how that Hershey’s kiss and our snikers chocolate bar is made through the sweat of child labor. These children are abducted from their homes at an early age and kept in servitude until they either scape or can pay their way out.

Below is a newspaper report from 2019 about a truck which had over 39 bodies trafficked for the purpose of force labor in England.

As you saw in the The dark side of chocolate Documentary there is more to just buying a hershey’s bar of chocolate. How are we supporting through our purchases these humen rights violations ?

These are two examples of seeing one particular article beyond past historical association.

Article 9  and Article 6 are two circumstances that conjure past and present association. 

We witnessed last year the unjust death of George Floyd and so many other minorities who die at the hands of crooked law enforcement agents.

As you approach this assignment think of your duty as a citizen of the world.

How will you work towards a more just and fair society?

These articles offer us a template to live by.

As artist we have an obligation to engage in art that promotes peace and wellness beyond our boundaries.

Think about this as you create your artistic contribution for these rights.

Black and white story board

This project was strangly difficult. We didn’t have to work with colours yet the tone and contrast was difficult to balance itself even in just B&W. It was also difficult to create a dramatic look without making it too dark and hard to see the subject. Dramatic setting is subjective in a sense and additives such as facial expresions can also change a mood in a picture. I don’t have any professional lighting or stands so I just arranged a couple of lamps around my subject while I held a desk lamp in one hand and my camera in another. I also didn’t have a camera stand with me so it was a bit difficult to get a clear shot. I made sure to take pictures at nighttime and keep lights to a minimum as older films often look a bit creepy with the low light setting.
