You sipped the warm tea from your mug as you tried to calm your nerves. How were you going to tell Tom that you’re pregnant? He was a mobster. Not just any mobster. But the king. Surely he doesn’t want to be a father.

You nearly jumped as Tom entered the kitchen. He chuckled at your reaction. “Did I startle you, love?” he asked as he went over to greet you with a kiss.

You smiled. “Just a bit. Only because it’s so quiet. But that will change soon.”

Tom was about to speak but stopped, his brows furrowing. “What do you mean by that darling?”

You sat your mug down and laced your fingers with Tom’s, flattening his hands on your stomach. “I’m pregnant.” 

Tom froze. “Y-you’re pregnant?”

You smiled, nodding. “Yeah.”

Tom smiled back and picked you up, spinning you, making you laugh. “Tom!”

“Y/n! This is amazing! I can’t believe it!”

He sat you down, surprised by his reaction. “You mean you’re not upset?”

“No of course not, darling. Why would I be upset?”

“Well...I thought you wouldn’t be ready...I mean this wasn’t planned.”
