Playing fallout 4 far harbor now, and umm the way being a synth is handled there is absolutely a trans allegory.

Poor Nora. I sent this woman to The Island at level 2. She’s been one-shotted by everything’s on the island, had to run around knee-high in irradiated sea water to fight a legendary Mirelurk Queen, got high AF on Atom’s Spring, her only friend is a drunk peepaw, and she became an alcoholic several times. All before level 20.

But at least she got a fancy hat.
