She's like "hmm this white boy will perfectly serve my purpose and schemes" and she's so real for that

the way that luke tried so hard to get percy to join him in comparison to him plotting percy’s death via scorpion in the books is tbh so so good for story building. percy doesn’t understand luke’s motivations this early in the story so seeing luke beg percy and try to get him to understand is just so painful and makes the betrayal hit so much harder

I’m sorry but I just love that Poseidon was in the same shirt when he came to save Percy that he was when he talked to Sally. You can look into it as deep symbolism or smth but I just love the idea that the all powerful sea deity has like. three shirts. or that being thousands of years old he repeats clothing at all. sustainable king!!

At first, I was kinda mad about how the pjo show was making percy seem a little too perfect like during the lotus casino scene. But it just occurred to me that he was always like this. Percy was never dumb, he just thinks he is. In other words, percy in the books is an unreliable narrator.

The show displays his adventures in the third person and we see how smart and powerful he is. But in the books, percy's low self confidence results in him believing he is not enough.
