A subscription, but with precise rules
The French restaurant chain created in 1984, has recently offered a subscription to be able to eat every day. However, not all the dishes on the usual menu are offered there, the choice is limited. Indeed, for 35th per month (30th the first month), and for a 6-month commitment, you can have a pizza on a selection of 5 pizzas or two pasta dishes. In addition, the offer is strictly personal, so it is impossible to share it with a friend or family. It is also necessary to consume on the spot, the offer is not intended for takeaway meals.
A strategy for recovering from the health crisis

However, this initiative is not a first in the world of catering. Other restaurant chains like Tacos’ Bell in the United States have a $10 per month offer that includes a taco. The British chain Prêt A Manger also offers a subscription system including 5 drinks for a 25th per month (12.5th the first month).
A really profitable offer for the brand?
However, this offer leaves some perplexed as Bernard Boutboul, catering specialist at Gira Conseils on bfmtv, declares: “I don't see how it can be profitable at Del Arte. If I go there 2.5 times a week on average, the brand loses”. Indeed with an offer of a pizza for 30 days, for 35th per month, the profit margin seems slim. However, the brand relies on extras such as drinks, coffee or desserts, not included in the formula.

To conclude, the offer, which is currently only a test, is already available in 13 of the 200 restaurants of the brand. Like the restaurants of: Boulogne-Billancourt, Gennevilliers, Rennes or Lyon.
