i cant get over how i did not care about baobhan sith at all and then that reveal about her comes at the very end that reframes everything about her and now i just feel like crying whenever i think about her.

suddenly everything makes sense, how clumsy and inept her cruelty is, how easily manipulated by beryl she was, how the first time she and castoria met she was weirdly friendly. because that's the real her. because in that moment she didnt know castoria was her enemy she was just a stranger who treated her as an equal and baobhan sith naturally responded in kind. because baobhan sith is the kindest fairy. because even when told to be cruel her true nature slips out so easily.

The scene of Tristan last stand make me sad. I wish he was in the story just a little longer.

Oh, I get it. It's less like the Lostbelts are taking place in the Chaldea Matrix and more that Chaldea's computers, rayshiftimg and Olga-Marie's access to Astral Magic basically created a bunch of alternate timelines derived from simulations of alternate histories within the databanks of Chaldea?

LAPLACE, the cyber demon Marisbury created recorded everything transpiring in history. This also means it recorded the timelines that got pruned and its inhabitants. Lostbelts are the "what if" continuation to the "present" of those pruned histories generated by the Fantasy Tree which temporary pins them on the "Blank Texture" of the planet. "An invasion from fiction."

(You know Servants are data too, right? They are “information bands.” You summon or “download” a copy from the Throne of the Heroes as the main server. It’s the same, but on a bigger scale).

The rayshifting may be involved yet. And the Tabula Rasa itself is Chaldeas' simulated future (2117). As long as they remain Lostbelts, they are fantasy that will vanish with the tree, but they can evolve into Lostworlds and other legit histories if you pin the texture using the tree energy or other methods (Morgan extracted the tree energy to use her own method, Kirschtaria was creating/modding the texture to pin worldwide a new one that isn't 100% the Greek Lostbelt but uses it as a base).

It's creating history.

The million dollar question now is: was Chaldea's history after the Time Temple, real, or was also fantasy? See some clues over clues about this matter.

And yeah, that emotionless young Olga (who probably converted herself into the priestess) did this same thing in the Melty Blood manga crossover using Siamlin's and Atlas simulations, and she didn't need to be a Beast, so she can do that. She can turn simulations real, of sorts. In there a simulation of Chaldea where none of the incidents happen is implied to be real and there are no Servants (Da Vinci isn't around, but Roman, Olga, and Lev are).
