Huangdi for @fauxrishi​‘s TS4 Bachelorette!

Information under the cut because I got carried away.

Huangdi Luo, the Hidden Dragon Painter Aspiration || Goofball , Genius, Loves the Outdoors  26, Male (he/him)

The Kunlun Kingdom is far to the southeast, and is home to extensive rivers and flourishing trade ports. While it’s grip on southern waters is unrivaled, it is looking to expand trade relations with more countries in the west.  Denmark’s invitation for potential matchmaking couldn’t have come at a better time. The ruling Empress Tian, send word that her younger and only brother would be happy to attend.  Without asking of course.  The growing the kingdom’s strength takes first priority for her.   

Huandi would normally request his sister not to involve him in her trade diplomacy, but he has to admit that the picture of the pretty brunette the messenger showed him caught his eye...

- Ever since Huandi was born he’s been a little bit of a playful trickster, painting fake doors in the castle, greeting public officials with an orange smile in his mouth, and putting frogs in places where frogs shouldn’t be.  However as he grew older, he has had to take on more and more responsibility in the kingdom’s affairs.  Meaning less time for elaborate pranks, but the occasional bag of air on the state official’s chairs still surfaces from time to time.

-  Despite hailing from a long line of magical elves, Huandi actually doesn’t have much magic power.   The most he can do is sense other auras around him, but that’s it.  This lack of magic is a small insecurity within him, but he hasn’t yet encountered a situation where it truly bothered him.

- Just because Huandi is known as a prankster, doesn’t mean you should underestimate his ability to be a prince and strong leader.  Since he does not have magical powers, he poured himself into his daily studies in order to prove himself worthy of his role.  He strength lies in forming strategies of all kinds.  In fact, plans for improving the infrastructure and state of the kingdom are the only reason the council puts up with his jokes in all honesty.

- Huandi hates wearing his royal garments and will most likely be seen in western style clothes that some travelers wear as they pass through the city, much to his sister’s disapproval. 

 - Every now and he escapes the city, most likely without anyone knowing, to the enchanted mountains and forests in his land to paint and destress from busy castle life.  Painting is a hobby he continued from childhood, and he believes it important to help immortalize his feelings and surroundings at that very moment. 

-  He is a formidable martial artist and spear/staff wielder, but can’t sail a ship!  A surprising fact, considering the vast bodies of water near and in his kingdom.

 - He has a snaggletooth!

Being the oldest twin and the only male heir besides his sister, He grew up quite an intelligent , family involved/focused but sometimes a little arrogant and certainly an prodigy young man with a hell of a temper when provoked. Whether that’s from his sister and her usual pranks/arguments/squabbling or when the stress gets to much and he needs time to vent his frustration and anger.

Despite that he loves fencing,swordplay with his sister and their instructor and have both come to a point of mastering it as well as other hobbies such as violin,reading/writing, handiness, athletics mainly rock climbing,horseriding (he didn’t get those muscles from just being a lazy potato!) and playing the arts such as the piano, organ and violin!

He was once married young at the age of 15-16 years but unfortunately his young wife Marina and their child died in child birth. It’s been many years now  since he was wed and lost someone he did indeed treasure despite being so young and Marina’s health problems. But now he’s healed and wants to try again and with interest in the fiery Princess Kaye of Denmark.

Mischievous, fiery like her brother yet innocent Peyton, being the youngest of her older twin brother Colton certainly has lived a very interesting life as also named an heir besides her brother. She certainly doesn’t like those boring droll lessons kept up inside  on beautiful sunny days and most the time can be seen taking her studies in the royal gardens under the alcove/gazebo with her instructors or even just seen there alone or playing the violin/painting or merely just chatting or annoying her brother or even just spending time in his company doing something such as reading.

As the youngest she certainly has had her moments where she got away with certain thing by her instructors or parents like fashion choices or what she wants and needs turning her into a confident intelligent person despite her innocence that all young flowers share on the cusp of adult life’s experiences despite her clumsiness!

She loves her hobbies, as one can get quite bored in their large home no matter how beautiful it is mostly the same like her brother like fencing/swordplay, violin,reading/writing, playing the arts (such as the piano, organ and violin),horseriding and archery. She mastered archery when she was 13 years old due to her great eye and being naturally quick on her feet in training situations.

Despite her brother’s loss of marina, Peyton has only kissed a few boys she’s dated never really finding the right man for her due to she mostly thinks of the nobels she grew up as friends and much closer ones as family. (I mean how weird and awkward would it be if your best friend you thought as a brother had to marry you? Yuck!
