Summary: Lady Tremaine helps Adelaide dress for an important dinner with her husband, but the last thing she wants to think about is Adelaide showing off for him.

Lady Madonna Tremaine guided the laces through again and again, tightening gently along the way. As she continued on, her pulls on the delicate ribbon became stronger and stronger. At first, Adelaide said nothing, used to the tug and cinching the corset provided. It’s nothing she hadn’t dealt with before, but with Madonna's ever increasing fervor at lacing it, she was beginning to become uncomfortable.

"Mado—" she attempted, but another firm tug stopped the word short. "Madonna," she managed the next time. Another sharp tug and Adelaide became keenly aware of her ribs and the lack of space for her to take a proper breath. "Lady Tremaine, you’re hurting me," she cried out at last.

"And why shouldn’t I," she spat. "Putting on this thing of beauty for him. How dare you! These pretty things of yours should be for my eyes only."

"You know I don’t wear this for him. Not really. Only I must play my role until it’s time. I have to look innocent or they’ll take me away, and you wouldn’t want that any more than I."

Adelaide could sense Madonna still seething behind her, despite knowing that her words were the truth of the matter. If their plan was found out, it’s likely they’d both be hung. With one more strong and final pull on the laces, Adelaide lurched back, suffering for Madonna's jealousy. It wasn’t always like this, and there was far worse Adelaide had been made to endure than her lady's mood swings.

But now, she was starting to feel lightheaded. "I— I don’t feel so…good." By the time the last word left her mouth it was hardly more than a puff of air and Adelaide felt the edges of her vision going black. Then she was barely more than a heap on the floor.

Oops, too tight. Madonna loosened the ties enough for Adelaide's breath to return to her with less effort and gently moved her to the fainting couch a few feet away. If she’d been paying more attention she could have guided her there before she collapsed, but she’d been too caught up in her rage. When she came to, Madonna tucked some of her hair behind her ear and looked at her with tender apology. She never meant to hurt her. Adelaide knew that. It was just how she got sometimes.

A certain paragraph caught my attention in the recent Super Mario edition of TIME Magazine:

Considering game sales alone, the Mario video game franchise has sold more than 900 million units worldwide across more than 200 games, making it the best-selling video game franchise of all time. The primary Super Mario series has sold more than 495 million copies worldwide.

The article (Still Super After All These Years, by Courtney Mifsud Intreglia) clearly distinguishes the sales of the Mario video game franchise and the primary Super Mario series. And since an actual number was provided, this implies it's based on some list of games. Where did this number come from? Did the author source it from somewhere, or does TIME keep an official list of mainline Super Mario games? It's likely the former from what I've found, but the probable source does have some interesting inclusions! (Long post below the fold.)

I'm pretty sure this number comes from the Video Game Sales Fandom Wiki page for Mario:

This wiki does provide a list of sources, in the form of a table totalling to 497,719,019 unit sales. Where this is the top result when Googling "Super Mario series sales" I have little doubt this is the source of the TIME article's claim. (To cover my bases, I confirmed that the summary text in the wiki was updated in August 2024, so it pre-dates the TIME article's release in March 2025.)

So, what games does this wiki article include as part of the mainline Super Mario series? Full list incoming, followed by some inclusions I find notable:

how many Super Mario games are there (according to this specific wiki article)?

While each game is listed in its own line in the table, this doesn't necessarily mean the wiki is suggesting there are 59 distinct Super Mario games. The table groups reissues into 20 categories, which seems reasonable given that the goal is to count sales of specific versions. So, is it saying there are exactly 20 games? ...probably not.

It doesn't seem like every category is meant to represent a distinct game. (Why are Super Mario Lands 2 and 3 in the same category, but Super Mario Land is in its own category?) In any case, the final category includes the last 5 games on the above list. I really doubt anyone seriously thinks Super Mario Run and Super Mario Odyssey are the same game, and that both are reissues of a game called "Later games"

So, still no idea. Probably more than 20.

Notable inclusions and exclusions

The second item on the list, in the same category as Super Mario Bros. (NES, 1985) is Super Mario Bros (Game & Watch, 1986). Guess it's mainline after all!

Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. (2020) is not included, though, nor is the Super Mario Bros. Nelsonic Game Watch (1989).

This list includes Doki Doki Panic as its own game in the Super Mario Bros. 2 category. That's pretty fun.

Both Wario Land and Yoshi's Island are in there, though not any of the sequels in their respective sub-series.

New Super Mario Bros. U, U Deluxe, and New Super Luigi U are all included, but not New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U.

Looking through the edit history it appears that Super Mario Bros. Wonder was added to the list of mainline games on June 25, 2023, 117 days before it was released. (No sales data at that time, of course.) Fandom user MarioFanYT is more on the ball than whoever runs the official Mario website

Wait, why are there multiples of some games?

You might have noticed that some games are counted more than once in the above list. Super Mario 3D All-Stars shows up 4 times! This happens because the table places compilations of games into the categories for each game it contains, as well as in its own category. So 3D All-Stars is counted as part of the subtotals for Super Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and in its own row. Other compilations work similarly.

It seems weird to count each sale of 3D All-Stars as four separate game sales, but maybe the wiki accounts for that in the total. If that were the case, you'd expect the Grand Total to be less than the sum of the separate subtotals, and that is indeed the case.

Sum of subtotals: 515,759,019

Grand Total: 497,719,019

It looked like it might be removing the duplicates, but after looking at it myself in a spreadsheet I get a value of 438,669,019 sales when duplicates are removed. Digging a little deeper, I found a mistake in the wiki's subtotal for Super Mario 3D World, which sums the Wii U game's 5,880,000 with the Switch's 13,470,000 to get only 19,050,000, which loses 300k sales somewhere. This still doesn't account for the difference in my results, but suggests there may be other errors in the wiki's.

It's possible I've made a mistake somewhere, but I haven't been able to get that 497.7 million count with any changes to what I do or don't count as a duplicate.

Conclusions?

This post was originally going to be just a screenshot of the magazine article and a little blurb like "I wonder what games TIME Magazine considers to be mainline?" It's ballooned out from there a little bit. I'm not sure if there's any real conclusions to be drawn.

Should Courtney Mifsud Intreglia have put the same work into fact-checking that "495 million sales" number that I did, correcting it to "over 438 million"? Uh, no, definitely not. The rest of her article is a broad overview of Mario's cultural impact, and the precise sales figure is not relevant to the article's point. Besides, the idea of trying to define how many mainline Mario games have been sold requires defining how many mainline Mario games exist (which is senseless, 'cause there's no consensus) so any number in the article would have been subject to interpretation.

Do I have some call-to-action for the Video Game Sales Wiki? Not really. In general, I am not very invested in the accurate reporting of video game sales on a Fandom wiki. Maybe I'll edit the page myself if I still care by tomorrow. (By the way, the Super Mario Wiki article on Super Mario (franchise) cites a 330 million unit sales figure, but that's from a 2015 blog post by Nintendo so it would be out of date in 2025.)

Mostly, I'm just trying to document the rabbit hole I've been falling down for the last 5 hours or so today, and this blog seems like a good place to put it. I've been thinking of making more posts documenting "in the wild" lists of mainline Super Mario games, but it'll depend on whether there's enough out there that I find interesting enough to post. In any case, I probably won't be making many more posts of this length - sorry if you only followed for the daily timeline posts and weren't expecting a wall of text!

Hello! I have a question to ask because honestly i don't get it, maybe I'm dumb idk. I saw a lot of hate on twt for sefikura and these people always say that it's toxic (ok I get it) but they add even that cloud is 16 or mentally 16 and sephiroth is 20+ so, this ship is p3d0philic... at this point even cloti and clerith, I think even zakkura is problematic I DON'T REALLY GET IT

I think antis see sefikura and got jealous lol. Even tho it’s a crack yaoi ship, it’s pandered a lot by the devs.

The devs aren’t idiots. They know which part of the fd is active and still make content despite the long drought between OG-Comp and Comp-2015 trailer-2020 Remake launch. SC shippers are multishippers too so they fed not only SCs but some other ships as well with their content.

That being said, antis hating and hinging on it being problematic is nothing new. It’s the age old tactics to steer people away from shipping it. It could be due to either reasons below:

1. They’re in an “opposing” ship and they’re jealous that we got fed frequently. (Which is funny since sometimes SCs may also ship that ship bc Cloud hole supremacy)

2. They’re a natural spiteful hater that need to perform morality to feel better about themselves. Ped0 is a new take from them to justify hating SC.

Often times they’re ill informed, never played the games or payed attention. They also love taking details out of context to serve their narrative.

When Cloud was 16, Sephiroth treated him nicely much like any other subordinates. He looked out for Zack and Tifa during their mission as well. So are people shipping ST ped0 now too? Is an adult banned from interacting with a minor, even if said adult is protecting them from dangerous monsters?

Funnily enough, I encountered STs calling SCs ped0 or nasty. LOL girl get a mirror.

Another detail antis missed is that Cloud is actually aware during the times in the pod. In the OG, there were scratch marks on the tanks from both Zack and Cloud communicating with each other. So technically he still ages, but we don’t know the extent of mental damage one could have if they have almost 0 social interaction during puberty. So him “being mentally 16” at the beginning of OG is fanon.

A: Yes! Project CORALINE was originally founded for the purpose of promoting the founder's original story, Reliving Dead Memories, which has been in the works since 2015. While this is still partially the case, it has since expanded.

The vocal synthesis division has now been expanded with the purpose of helping others in the vocal synthesis sphere, by providing them a way to both publish and make their own vocal libraries! We offer the resources and funding to help make new ones possible.

However, we feel the need to state that we will not own any vocal synths, as we are primarily just a publisher now! The creator and voicer still retain full rights to their libraries, and are free to leave whenever they see fit. No one is forcing them to stay under us! The only vocal libraries that really count as being Project CORALINE property at the time of writing this are Sahimura Korarin, Ignatius Kadin and Mahalia Paz Kadin. Flora has zero say regarding voice banks that they have not created directly.

i'd been doing am H/B career rewatch over the holidays before they announced that they were stepping back and wanted to get back into it: 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 2015-16

Kaitlin & Jean-Luc's 3rd senior season, 2016-17 was the Midnight Blues/Hip Hop season - teams who can ride their edges can show that off in this pattern - they look smooth. Michael Buble Feeling Good is totally played out now, but idk if it was yet in 2016

their FD to Liszt's Liebestraum is gorgeous - it highlights how beautiful their flow and knees are and how musical and how detailed they can be. they unfortunately had a very rough skate at Nationals where both their twizzles and a lift were invalidated (and still came in 5th). she lost her balance in the transition between sets of twizzles, and from the way her knee is bloody after, it looks like she snagged on rough ice - just really unlucky. maybe because they ended the season this way, they kept this FD the following year, but for someone as hard on themselves as she is, i wonder if it kept her (and also the judges?) dwelling on what happened instead of starting with a clean slate 😢

they won a couple Challenger silver medals this season and were 6th and 4th at their GPs. they were having trouble moving up, but the teams who placed above them at NHK? VM, P/C and Capellini/Lanotte. i mean, it was a tough field

Homeopathic drugs have an unusual status in the United States. On the one hand, they are incorporated into the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) within the definition of “drug,” which specifically includes articles recognized in the official Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (a historical perspective can be found in this ScienceInsider article from 2015, when government scrutiny was beginning to increase). But on the other hand, there is growing consensus that the effectiveness of such products is not supported by scientific evidence and that they are, in many cases, mere placebos that do not actually treat the patient’s medical conditions; in the worst cases, they contain harmful ingredients that may cause serious injury.

This extraordinary dichotomy has led to both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in recent years issuing modernized enforcement policies related to homeopathic drugs. An FTC enforcement policy statement from late 2016 requires homeopathic products to be marketed with clear disclosures stating that, among other things, there is no scientific evidence that the products work (see our prior post on the FTC policy here). Then in 2019 FDA took action to withdraw a long-standing compliance policy guidance for homeopathic drugs and to simultaneously issue a significant number of Warning Letters to companies marketing such products in violation of the FD&C Act (our prior posts on those activities are here and here).

Most recently, FDA finalized its draft guidance on homeopathic drugs – first issued in draft form in 2017 and then revised in 2019 – to lay out for industry the agency’s approach to “prioritizing regulatory actions for homeopathic products posing the greatest risk to patients.” The final guidance document issued in December 2022 can be found here. FDA also appears to be moving aggressively on the enforcement priorities as five letters relating to violative homeopathic drug products have been posted to the agency’s public Warning letter database since the beginning of calendar year 2023, as compared to four for the entire previous year. The FTC also included homeopathic drug manufacturers and distributors in the list of advertisers that received notices in April 2023 that their advertising claims need to be backed up with appropriate and reliable forms of scientific evidence (see here). Taken together, it’s clear that the homeopathy industry remains under major scrutiny by federal regulators seeking to enforce their fundamental public safety mandates, whether they fall under the FD&C Act or the prohibition on deceptive advertising contained in the Federal Trade Commission Act. 

Perhaps more noteworthy and concerning for the homeopathy industry, however, is a Fall 2022 decision by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals to allow civil cases to proceed against two retail pharmacies under a plaintiff’s novel application of D.C.’s Consumer Protection Procedures Act. The plaintiff in both lawsuits is the Center for Inquiry (CFI), a nonprofit that states it is “dedicated to defending science and critical thinking in examining religion. CFI’s vision is a world in which evidence, science, and compassion – rather than superstition, pseudoscience, or prejudice – guide public policy.” As part of this mission, and among several other lawsuits it has initiated in the homeopathy space, CFI sued two retail pharmacies in the District of Columbia on the grounds that they were violating the local deceptive trade practice statute. The complaint alleged these violations arose through the pharmacies’ indirect representations that homeopathic drug products labeled as cough, cold, and flu treatments have the same characteristics and benefits as over-the-counter drug products formulated with traditional active ingredients. In particular, although the pharmacies didn’t make express promotional statements comparing the different product types, the plaintiff argued that they placed homeopathic products adjacent to their traditional counterparts on physical shelves and in online shopping results, thereby creating the misleading impression that the different products had comparable efficacy.

CFI’s complaints were dismissed at the trial court level for failure to state a claim upon which relief could be granted. The two cases were then consolidated for purposes of the plaintiff’s appeal to the D.C. Court of Appeals. On the question of whether a cognizable claim had been asserted (this post won’t discuss the separate question that the appellate court reviewed, which was whether CFI had standing to sue the defendants), a three-judge panel ruled on September 29, 2022 that “whether the complained-of practices have a tendency to mislead reasonable consumers is a jury question” – thereby reinstating the complaints and remanding the cases for factual development. In reaching its decision, the court determined that a defendant did not need to make verbal statements in order for a “representation” to exist and that actions could also fall within the scope of the deceptive trade practices statute. Therefore the various factual allegations in CFI’s complaints – for example that the pharmacies displayed homeopathic products next to “science-based” drug products and that signage in the stores indicated that the entire section contained products for “Cold, Cough & Flu Relief” – were sufficient at the pleading stage to survive a motion to dismiss. As of June 2023, the dockets for both of these CFI lawsuits are active and discovery appears to be ongoing, so they continue to bear watching for future resolution on the merits. 

This recent ruling from the D.C. Court of Appeals foreshadows the possibility that retailers may opt to stop carrying homeopathic products in their stores (both physical and online) if the risk of liability to their own businesses becomes too great. Between the tightening of FDA’s and FTC’s rules for the industry and the increasingly creative use of existing consumer protection statutes by legal advocates, we could be witnessing a slow-motion demise of direct-to-consumer-based homeopathic product marketing. Only time will tell how the industry evolves in response to these numerous and formidable headwinds.

Александр Прочухан, Константин Мамчур, Чеслав Пестюк и Крымов ответят за Questra holdings и Five Winds Asset Management. Чеслав Пестюк, Константин Мамчур, Александр Прочухан и Павел Крымов официально признаны организаторами финансовой пирамиды Questra holdings и Five Winds Asset Management.

Пестюк Чеслав Юрьевич, Павел Геннадиевич Крымов и Константин Мамчур создали на территории Украины мошенническую схему сбора денег через финансовую организацию «Квестра Холдинг». Организаторы финансовой пирамиды всячески пытаются показать, что это серьезная компания, которая ведет бизнес по покупке и продаже долговых обязательств, в том числе акций компаний, проводящих первичное размещение своих ценных бумаг на фондовой бирже (IPO). Впрочем, Five Winds Asset Management и Questra holdings являются обычными пирамидами. В чем уже признался один из организаторов Павел Крымов и мозг аферы — Александр Прочухан.

Причем по легенде аферистов, у Квестра Холдинг испанские корни. Вероятно именно на это ведутся жертвы мошенников, передавая под управление свои финансы.

У Испанской компании SFG Group, из которой якобы и выросла Квестра Холдинг, счет жизнедеятельности начинается еще с 2003 года. По проверке журналистами портала Незыгарь оказалось, что никакой SFG Group вообще не существовало. А Квестра Холдинг зарегистрирован на Британских виргинских островах летом 2015 года под регистрационным номером 1769610. У данных оффшоров (как и у многих) все стандартное: номинальные владельцы, нет уставного капитала, нет бухгалтерской отчетности, регуляции, контроля.

Хотя косвенно организаторы пирамиды действительно неким образом связаны с Испанией, зачастую наведываясь сюда на отдых. Здесь же обосновалась и Екатерина Левицкая, которая действительно работает в Испанском офисе Квестра Холдинг. Офис был открыт для составления договоров, отправки корреспонденции. Опять же для предъявления потенциальным жертвам факта того, что фирма работает, офис действительно имеется.

Помимо этого, офисы компании открываются и на территории Украины. Деньги жертв вкладываются в аферу через наличный расчет в офисах Константина Мамчука, который открыл их на Западной и Центральной Украине.

Афера принимает огромный масштаб, тем более потерявшие свои деньги вкладчики, не спешат заявлять о своих потерях. На фоне таких потерявших свои суммы имеются и те, кому деньги все-таки были возвращены, ведь чтобы афера могла принять вселенский масштаб, необходимо «прикармливать» некоторых участников, которые будут обоснованно выступать в защиту мошенников.

Активным участником мошеннической организации Квестра Холдинг является и Прочухан Александр, владелец химчистки в Виннице. По некоторым данным часть денег, полученных с помощью аферы, обналичивается через его ООО «БІЛА ЛІЛІЯ».

Все эти люди, сплотившиеся в организованную преступную группу, также возможно причастны и к другим подобным аферам. В частности называются — Финансовая пирамида Формула Денег, Золотое Сечение и FD Invest.

А вот и Чеслав Пестюк, Павел Крымов, Константин Мамчур и Александр Прочухан в другой афере «Золотое Сечение и Формула Денег»

Начнем с самого начала, Questra Holdings Inc (questra.es) компания с Испании или Украины? С учетом, что после создания и запуска аферы Questra Holdings Inc (questra.es) (грубо лето 2015 года), информация о том что первоначально компания называлась SFG Group и работает то с 2003 года, то с 2013 года — не подтверждена ничем, то есть официально можно считать ложью и обманом. Регистрация Questra Holdings Inc не находится в Испании, а следуя документам регистрация в самом простом и народном оффшоре — Британские виргинские острова, под номером регистрации 1769610. У данных оффшоров (как и у многих) все стандартное: номинальные владельцы, нет уставного капитала, нет бухгалтерской отчетности, регуляции, контроля.

Questra Holdings Inc не имеет регистрации в Испании, и не является Представительством Questra Holdings Inc BVI в Испании, по причине отсутствия вообще каких-либо документов. Банковский счет аферы Questra Holdings Inc тоже не находится в Испании, а находится в ещё одном оффшоре (Кипр), куда в 99% деньги вообще не попадают. Счет открывается за пару дней, стоимость счета 450 долларов США, требований даже минимальных нет, информацию о владельце можно получить только по решению суда Кипра.

Единственное, где украинские аферисты дали маху (в попытке показать крупный Trust Score счета, это указание страны владельца счета), который проверяется на бирже кредитов Perfect Money, E7165112 принадлежит стране Украина. То есть владелец счета, в профиле указал Украина, но никак не Испания.

Так же, одному из предполагаемых организаторов этой аферу — Константин Мамчур (о нем дательнее позже), по одному из конкурсов приходит смартфон, и увы не из Испании, а из … Киева. После упоминания этого, идет попытка оправдать посылку мол купили в стране проживания, но на телефоне стоит графировка Questra Holdings — что подобную «легенду» отметает как таковую (ТТН накладная за номером 59000129761402).

Есть информация, о связи этих организаторов с другими весьма похожими аферами, которые уже закрылись и успешно кинули своих инвесторов, сомнений это не вызывает так как виден опытный след мошенников со стажем, речь о таких как:

— Финансовая пирамида Формула Денег — находится в Списке Интернет мошенников (2012-2014 годы — formuladeneg2.com и formuladeneg.com)

— Золотое Сечение (Формула Денег 2.0) — находится в Списке Интернет мошенников, Украина — Винница

— FD Invest (fdinvest.net / oiltransinvest) — мошенники.

Все указывает на создание очередного мошеннического проекта, отзывы и анализ, старыми МММЩиками-мошенниками и аферистами, они же раскручивали и прошлые свои аферы, писали отзывы, завлекали население, такими как:

Сейчас его фамилия Пан Александр Николаевич и после десятков миллионов отмытых долларов на аферах Пан-Прочухан по информации портала Незыгарь открыл новые предприятия Mak Holding, SPANG Capital. Которые уже активно пиарит. С 2017 г. Александр Пан (Прочухан) — учредитель компании Mak Holding. С 2019 г. Прохучан с новой фамилией Пан — учредитель и директор SPANG Capital (инвестиции в региональную и европейскую недвижимость).

Закончив в 2007 году Винницкий финансово-экономический университет ВФЭУ, Александр принимает решение не только участвовать в финансовых пирамидах, но и стать организатором новых, которые принесут ему немалую прибыль в будущем.

Александр Пан (Прочухан) и его мошенничество

Придя в восторг от того, какую прибыль приносят преступные сетевые схемы их организаторам, он создает ряд собственных пирамид, находит подельников и на некоторые ключевые точки распределяет своих знакомых, друзей и даже родственников.

Пан Александр Николаевич — он же Прочухан или кто такие Константин Мамчур и Чеслав Конюх (Пестюк)?

Таким образом родились мошеннические финансовые структуры «Формула Денег», «Золотое Сечение», «Астрал Полет» и др. Украинцы Александр Прочухан, Константин Мамчур и белорус Чеслав Конюх (ранее имел фамилию Пестюк), а также их российский «коллега» Кравцев Станислав и казахстанский «партнер» Фанис Джураев стали соучастниками Александра Прочухана в таких проектах как «Формула Денег» и «Золотое Сечение».

На сегодняшний день известно, что на тот момент Пан (Прочухан) имел отношение более, чем к десяти финансовым пирамидам.

Именно такая наглая политика в изымании средств у инвесторов (в основном пенсионеры, инвалиды и матери-одиночки, которые поверили в быстрый с��особ заработка), сделала Александра Прочухана известным на территории стран СНГ и за их пределами.

В итоге все эти финансовые пирамиды, несмотря на их легальные прикрытия, были признаны мошенническими (поразительно, но уже забытое всеми «Золотое Сечение» до сих пор функционирует). Из-за такого разоблачения «доходы» Александра Прочухана начали стремительно снижаться. Так была создана Questra World и начался активный пиар структуры по всем возможным направлениям.

Участниками и обманутыми инвесторами всех этих мошеннических проектов, в том числе Questra World, AGAM, 5 Winds, QW Lianora Swiss Consulting, стали граждане не только Украины, России, Беларуси и Казахстана, но и жители Европы и даже Америки.

В 2017 году, весной, финансовые пирамиды прекратили выплату средств и, дабы, спасти свое положение, PR-отдел Questra World в Киеве, по приказам Александра Прочухана, не только занялся еще более активным и агрессивным пиаром, но и переводом стрелок и созданием лже-кампаний, обвиняющих в обмане не только людей, не имеющих вообще никакого отношения к Questra World, но и некоторые международные платежные системы, которые до 2017-2018 гг. вообще не знали о существовании всех этих преступных пирамид.

Но, что произошло с самим организатором Александром Прочуханом? Первым в попытке избежать ответственности и скрыться, стал его подельник Пестюк Чеслав Юрьевич, который после женитьбы изменил фамилию на Конюх, сменил белорусское гражданство на украинское и даже лишил себя отчества. Его примеру последовал и известный нам вор и преступник Александр Прочухан.

27 июля 2018 года им был получен новый идентификатор личности. Теперь фамилия этого человека – Пан. Дабы расследование было окончено и преступник, обокравший десятки тысяч человек, был привлечен к заслуженной им уголовной ответственности, нами были найдены самые точные сведения. Новый номер паспорта Александра Пана (Прочухана): 002127649. Паспорт был получен в Оболонском РО ГУГМС, в Киеве.

Разумным ли является шаг преступника по смене фамилии? Мы так не думаем, ведь, учитывая колоссальное количество врагов, обманутых людей и тех, кто желает посадить мошенника как можно скорее в тюрьму, каждое событие в жизни Пана-Прочухана рассматривается чуть ли не через микроскоп. По некоторым данным Александр Пан (Прочухан) не просто проживает в Киеве, но в буквальном смысле слова скрывается, прячется от правосудия, стараясь всеми силами уйти от него и избежать заслуженного наказания.

На сегодняшний день признание Александра Пана (Прочухана) преступником международного масштаба, а разоблачение его финансовых пирамид как мошеннических структур – стало всеобщим и тревогу бьют очень большое количество серьезный компаний, банков и надзорных органов многих стран. Полный запрет регуляторов многих стран мира работе и активности Александра Пана на их территории, делает известность мошенника воистину международной. Пирамиды Александра Пана (Прочухана) официально запрещены более, чем в 10 странах мира.

В структуры, запрещающие Прочухану работать, входят такие авторитетные компании как: Национальный Банк Бельгии, Управление финансовыми услугами и рынками FSMA, Австрийский надзорный орган, Контрольный орган Лихтенштейна FMA, Польский надзорный орган, Британский надзорный орган, Национальный Чешский и Словенский Банки, Федеральное управление финансового надзора Германии, Комиссия Ценных бумаг Малайзии, Финансовое управление Брунея-Даруссалама и многие другие.

Questra Holdings, Questra World и Atlantic Global Asset Management распространяют слухи о том, что они имеют разрешение вести свою деятельность в Бельгии и других странах Европы, однако это наглая ложь, ведь Национальный бельгийский банк наложил свой запрет.

Компания AGAM, по уверению мошенников зарегистрирована в Польше? Но, и это ложь, ведь районная прокуратура в Варшаве запрещает деятельность Прочухана на территории страны. Мошенники утверждают, что их пирамиды получили аккредитацию в Германии? Федеральное управление финансового надзора Германии отказало в лицензии мошенникам, так что это – тоже ложь.

Александр Николаевич Прочухан (ныне известный как Александр Пан) – известный аферист и создатель ряда финансовых пирамид, родившейся 13 марта 1985-го года в украинской Виннице.

Он и его постоянный партнер, Пестюк Чеслав Юрьевич, являются основателями таких мошеннических компаний, как Questra Holdings Inc, Questra World, Atlantic Global Asset Management, AGAM и еще ряда подобных организаций, целью которых являлось привлечение обманным путем денежных средств других граждан.

Суть всех этих скам-проектов схожа – после регистрации новый участник должен был отправить определенную сумму денег одному из людей, который зарегистрировался раньше его и стоит в пирамиде на более высокой ступени. После этого якобы начиналась формироваться цепочка инвесторов уже под данного человека, которому обещали получение значительной прибыли в очень сжатые сроки. Естественно, как и любая другая финансовая пирамида, основанная только на привлечении новых участников, все эти проекты давали возможность заработать только основным и первым инвесторам, остальные – оставались ни с чем.

МММ-2011

Карьера мошенника началась в 2011 году, когда он принимал участие в пирамиде МММ-2011. Проведя в структуре несколько месяцев, молодой человек поверил в себя, и решил создать клон МММ. Вкладчикам предлагались баснословные проценты и целая система бонусов, только вот, чтобы их получать, нужно было или приводить новых вкладчиков, или же делать депозиты от 50 долларов. Странно, но огромное количество людей не волновали источники доходов, им хватало рассказов про крутые инвестиции, а 45% месячного дохода быстро заставляли людей, привыкших брать в долг до зарплаты, снова занять, дабы вложиться в эту прекрасную пирамиду. Александр Прочухан был в МММ-2012 тысячником, ведь у него открыли вклады четыре тысячи наивных винничан. Схема стандартная для пирамид, денег никто так и не вернул.

Формула Денег

Основной проект Прочухана и Пестюка «Формула Денег» появился в конце 2012-ого года и уже с начала 2013-го началось активное привлечение людей, желающих быстро и без особых усилий заработать деньги. Пирамида прекратила свое существование в 2014-ом году. Большинство инвесторов так ничего и не получили. Вместо «Формулы Денег» та же команда мошенников начала создавать аналогичные аферы.

Questra Holdings Inc.

В 2013 году он и Пестюк Чеслав основали Questra Holdings Inc., которая имела массу дочерних предприятий. На всех видео шёл рассказ о том, что компания была зарегистрирована ещё в 2009 году, что за плечами уже 7 лет успешной работы, штат сотрудников увеличился с 10 до 150, а прибыль позволила открыть офис в Испании, который и стал её штаб квартирой.

Тут схема была ещё прозаичнее: кидала обещал около 60% прибыли в месяц. По его словам, Questra Holdings Inc имела специальный отдел, занимающийся отбором перспективных компаний, инвестиции в которые принесут вам деньги уже завтра. На этом этапе некоторых уже начало смущать то, что глава столь солидной компании лично в скайпе оформляет депозит каждого клиента, но Александр Прочухан сослался на то, что денег у него более чем достаточно, а сделать богаче других – его жизненное призвание. Стоит отметить, что во всех рекламных роликах фигурирует Феррари, которую он купил уже в Украине, на деньги, полученные от тех, кого он успел кинуть.

В 2018-ом году Александр Николаевич Прочухан следует примеру своего партнера, сменившего фамилию с Пестюк на Конюх (Пестюк Чеслав — Конюх Чеслав), получает новый украинский биометрический паспорт, где теперь он именуется как Пан Александр Николаевич.

i want to double back for a second and talk more about coal-tar dyes. they're actually still in use—in heavy use—and i'd bet cash money that most people reading this have used one in the last day.

have you ever dyed your hair with a box that tells you that you should do a patch test first, and it shouldn't be used for eyebrows or eyelashes? (so like...any hair dye out there?) congrats, that's made with coal-tar dye. it's mostly made from petroleum now, but it's the same stuff, and the name's stuck. (source)

so maybe you're like 'ok well actually, i hate hair dye,' which is fine. but do you eat processed food? do you eat candy? do you take medication? if you've ever looked at the ingredients, you've probably seen some food colourings on that list: blue 1, yellow 5, red 40, etc. (us names)

most of those are also coal-tar dyes (source), and they're regulated, tested, and approved by the fda as being safe for use in food, cosmetics, and medications. most of them are also approved by the various regulatory agencies in other countries, as well.

let's look at tartrazine, otherwise known as yellow 5, e102, and a bunch of other names, which is one of the more controversial dyes. you might think that means it's been disallowed, but you'd be entirely wrong! there's not a ton of evidence to support the controversies, and it's allowed in food (etc)...basically everywhere.

it's definitely legal in the us, uk, eu, anz, japan, and canada. it might be illegal in norway, but my toddler-level norwegian isn't good enough to go read food additive legislation, and the english-language sources i'm finding can all be traced back to an unsourced throwaway comment in a single article from 2015. not what i'd call the most robust evidence. but i'm willing to say it's probably illegal in norway.

food standards australia new zealand actually has a nice comparative chart showing the legal status of various fsanz-approved dyes in the us and eu. when the formal us name is 'fd+c no [#]' or 'd+c no [#]', they're probably coal-tar dyes. and they're considered safe for use by actually quite a large number of countries!

i know that 'coal-tar dye' sounds scary, and there are certainly plenty of ~wellness~ blogs on the internet that will tell you that it is. it's just dye, though. like most things, it'll fuck you up if you're unlucky enough to have an allergy to it, and if you decide to eat a tube of industrial dye you're in for a bad time, but a scary-sounding name isn't always a scary substance.

jumping immediately to 'haha these dresses will kill you' isn't showing great critical thinking skills, it's showing an unsettling willingness to jump to conclusions that feel good, even if there aren't facts to support those feelings. it's low stakes here, but it's also how a lot of disinformation works, and you're training yourself to believe it.
