we always talk about eddie hiding behind chris to tell buck how he really feels, but in moments where buck is really truly scared he does it too: "he doing okay?" "better than me" and "is he okay?" "i mean, still scared out of his mind, he's not the only one" and like ???? am i supposed to be normal about this

King of Anything by Sara Bareilles is an Eddie Diaz song...
Keep drinking coffee, stare me down across the table
While I look outside
So many things I'd say if only I were able
But I just keep quiet and count the cars that pass by
Who cares if you disagree?
You are not me
Who made you king of anything?
So you dare tell me who to be?
Who died and made you king of anything?
All my life I've tried to make everybody happy
While I just hurt and hide
Waiting for someone to tell me it's my turn to decide

I haven’t actually watched Fear-O-Phobia yet bc I didn’t have access to most of s5B but I’m starting it now and I did not know there were tarantulas involved, I have crippling arachnophobia and I think I’m going to get sick, I thought the weird pets would be snakes not spiders, oh my god

haha remember when buck literally broke down eddies door… and eddie let him in… eddie didnt scream at him to get out or leave him alone… and in the aftermath he didnt feel the need to apologize about seeing him like that… he only felt sorry that chris had to see it… because theres nobody eddie trusts more implicitly than buck…

We don't talk enough about Buck's face when he opens the door and sees Maddie. Like he saw her through the peephole, but he took a deep breath when the door opened because he is relieved that she’s real, not just a figment of his imagination. It’s just so pure, unencumbered, childlike energy. Not that he’s a child, but its just…pure. And then Maddie moves to pull away and Buck just folds his full-foot-taller self to fit into her neck like that will keep her from leaving again. And his nervous little stutter coming out because he doesn’t want to say the wrong thing and say that she looks good, because the signs were missed last time, but he also missed his big sister. And this is all in 30 seconds at most and is why I love Jennifer Love Hewitt and Oliver Stark together so much
