Girl they are mad about everything to the point they are now trying to discredit her experiences. No way she ate $4.99 meals cos she went to private schools and her dad won millions in lottery. Wasn't it just 2 years ago Dailymail was saying she grew up in "gang ridden" Compton, gleefully reporting how many times her parents filed for bankruptcy and how the sperm donor lost a lot of his winnings on shady deals. Now its her parents were rich okay! Cos she got private schooling.

I just saw that. Don’t these idiots ever get tired of their constant backtracking and revising of events? Meghan has never claimed to be living in poverty, nor has she ever said she was rich. Her family was middle class.

I don’t know how it was back when Meghan attended NU, but fedeal financial aid for students is all based on your family’s income ( even if you are entirely financially independent). As are admissions into work study programs and some scholarships. If Meghan qualified for some of those programs she wasn’t from a wealthy family.

She just said she saw how hard her parents worked, and that even going out to eat was a luxury, like it is for all working class and middle class families.

The argument about private schools is such BS. As if working families don’t prioritize things. For some that means sending their kids to the best schools, while cutting corners elsewhere.

Anyway I admire Meghan for using her platform to help other families, when I’m sure she knew these clowns would twist her words
