some time ago we talked about viv helping v on her healing journey (girlie cannot catch a break from being a babysitter even after she got johnny a body LMAO) and even though v never ends up at rehab (maybe that will change) it still fits pretty well.

V³ had a pretty big fight at one point. viv was always going to leave for arasaka but v never understood or accepted it. they argued for hours and when vincent didn't chose her side, v stormed off to go on a weeklong bender. when she returned the flat was empty, both her siblings had left -and betrayed her. naturally, viv also felt betrayed by her childhood friend, all she asked for was support but instead she got called a traitor. i like to imagine this song plays on the radio one day after their reunion

TO ME this is THE streetkid song but it hits hard especially in this universe. as i mentioned before V³ thinks they picked the right path, they aren't gonna be beat (and honestly vincent is the only one who succeeded). viv had a good run but then she got kicked from the corp, lost her newest best friend, DIED and now has a whole other person stuck in her skull. v was stubborn, was homeless for a bit and is overall in a bad way (but then again, that's the only way she knows how to live so it's not as bad TO HER)

V's band) naturally this fills her with pure rage and viv knows this isn't going to end well (babysitting time!) v knows exactly who did this and is hellbent on rectifying this (there is more but yall are gonna have to wait for the day i decide to write it lmao) As Above, So Below is the name of the job! it is a song that v wrote but only she knows about it. while viv wasn't a band member she was there for it's founding and a few first concerts, she filmed a lot of it and even ran the merch stand a bit

YES the song is about v not wanting to sign with a label and it is her final fuck you to the world of music. in reality that song is incredibly underproduced since by the time it was recorded the band had already broken up. v did ALL of it: singing, instruments, songwriting. editing magic made it come to life. depending on how it ends (yes there are multiple outcomes) viv will receive a shard with ALL of rotten's music, including THIS unreleased song and even some backstage footage from way back in the day when viv was still around.

one of the interesting things about having run a pjo askblog for 7 years is because i started it before TOA was even announced but after HoO, when TOA started coming out with each book i then had to start balancing the weird combos of pre-existing blog canon from before TOA, addressing new TOA canon/storylines as they were being published, the weird coincidences of askblog canon lining up perfectly with TOA canon, and the TOA canon decisions that I’m looking at and just saying “no, we’re not doing that”

so it ends up really weird, which i guess is fun because it means i get to tell a new unique story instead of just following TOA verbatim. and it also means i’ve had 6 years to plan out the plot of weird TOA canon-divergence but in a visual format, which is also weird and fun

You just came back from a party, disappointed and tired. You weren't drunk at all and that surprised your roommate - Ellie.

"Someone didn't have much fun, huh?" she laughed.

You look at her with an annoyed expression. She always teases you even though you hate it. She loves to hear about parties that didn't go well. She acts like she doesn't want you to have fun without her and you have no idea why.

"No." You simply say and shake your head as you take a seat on the sofa. As your eyes adjust to the dim light of the room, you can see her leaning back in her chair, casually lounging with a beer in her hand. The smile never leaves her face as she takes a long sip, clearly not concerned about your disposition.

"Mind if I take a sip? The alcohol back there was... I mean, it's pretty obvious how bad was it since I'm not completely wasted." Without waiting for an answer you stand up, take the glass from her hand, and feel a few big sips wash your throat.

She laughs again as you take a strong swig of her beer, your face contorting slightly from the bitter taste on your tongue. You set the glass back down on the table in front of her and sigh, not so subtly indicating she was right about you not having fun.

"You'd think they'd at least get some better stuff if they're gonna host a party." You comment, rubbing your forehead and stretching out on the sofa.

She shrugs as she takes back the glass and places it near her again. A sly smirk spreads across her face as she watches you, and you feel her eyes wandering around your body before meeting your gaze again.

"So," she starts, the tone of her voice indicating she's not interested in discussing the party or the alcohol, "what's wrong?"

You can feel her gaze on you a bit longer, and when you shift your head to look at her, you can see that she has turned around to face you directly. She's leaning back comfortably in her seat with her legs in a men-spread position, staring right back at you.

"Or am I just making things up in my head?" she asks with a smirk, as her eyes drift down to your chest and back up again.

Your cheeks flush, turning bright red. She has seen right through you, and you know it. Still, you refuse to allow the situation to make you feel weak. You lean on one arm, trying to hide your discomfort.

"Maybe I just had to deal with a few creeps, that's all." You respond, and your tone is as steady as you can keep it. You try not to look at her as you say this, but you can't help but notice how closely she is watching you. What did she think you were doing at this party?

She smirks again, shaking her head and taking another sip of her beer.

"Sure," she says. "creeps."

There was no point in arguing with her, and you know she won't drop it. Sighing again, you lean back into the sofa and look up at the ceiling.

"Fine," You give in, "a couple of guys tried hitting on me, but I wasn't interested."

But what's the difference between creeps and guys? These days - none.

She laughs softly, and you realize that you've probably made the situation worse.

She puts the beer glass down on the table, leaning forward slightly in her seat so she could face you directly.

"That happens," she says with a slight shrug. "But if I was there, they wouldn't even think about talking to you."

She stares directly at you as her words sink in, and you can feel your face flush as you turn away and back to the ceiling.

You sit there quietly for a few moments without looking back at her. You take a deep breath and rub your eyes, trying to settle down and compose yourself. You turn back to face her after another few seconds, and she's still sitting there with the same expression on her face, watching you quietly.

"Why's that?" You finally ask.

She raises one eyebrow and shrugs, a small smile playing around her lips.

"Because you'd be too busy talking to me."

You chuckle. "Yeah, like that would stop them. How arrogant of you to think I'd be so infatuated with you to ignore other people." You laugh, shifting so you can face her.

Ellie shrugs, smirking again and taking another sip of beer. "Sure you would." she chuckles.

You give her a smirk of your own, rolling your eyes and leaning back on the couch. "Whatever."

She chuckles again, shaking her head. "So you just didn't meet anyone that you liked?" she asks.

"No, nothing like that. Just a bad crowd." You shrug.

"What did they do wrong?" Ellie looks genuinely interested this time. She takes another sip of her beer, resting her head on the back of the couch as she listens intently to your reply. No matter how hard you try, you can't help but notice that her legs are still propped up towards you in a men-spread position. It's so close that your eyes almost instinctively dart down to her thighs for a brief moment.

"They were all so... I dunno, immature I guess," you answer, your voice trailing off slightly as you remember the scene from earlier.

She places the glass on the coffee table and sits next to you, on the couch. Ellie nods, listening carefully. "I get it," she says. "it's hard to find people who are on your level." She pauses for a moment before continuing, "But hey, at least you got to come home and hang out with me." She grins, nudging your arm playfully.

You roll your eyes but can't help but smile back. "Yeah, I guess that's true," you say, feeling a little better now that you're back in the comfort of your own home with your roommate by your side. "Can we stop talking about the party?" You ask, turning to face her. You can feel the heat rising in your cheeks as your eyes drift to her thighs again, unintentionally this time. The room is still dimly lit, which makes it even harder to maintain eye contact.

Ellie leans back again and stretches her arms towards you, causing her shirt to ride up a bit and revealing her abs that always attracted you. She doesn't seem to notice as she tilts her head back and looks up at the ceiling, breathing out a long breath. Her hair falls across her face, covering half her face in a messy but beautiful way.

"This weekend just wasn't it, yeah?" she sighs, finally noticing you staring. Your cheeks turn bright red as she smiles mischievously. "Or would you rather go back to looking at my thighs again?" she teases, playfully rolling her eyes.

Shit, so she saw me staring!, you think. "I... yeah, that wasn't a fun weekend." You stutter, ignoring her last words, hoping she'll drop that topic.

Ellie leans in closer, her expression changing from playful to serious almost immediately. She takes your hand and places it gently on her thigh.

"I know you're nervous," she says softly. Her eyes search your face, noticing your flushed cheeks. "Just relax. Let me help you forget about that awful party."

She looks at your hand and gives it a gentle squeeze, your fingers moving up and down her thigh, as a warm, tingly feeling settles in your stomach.

"Els, I..." You try to protest - you don't even know why, you want this to happen. Is it just stress? Even if so, you still don't move your hand away from where she placed it. And your attempt to protest doesn't succeed too - your words are cut off by Ellie's lips.

Ellie's hands slide up your body as she leans forward, her mouth pressing gently against yours. The heat in your stomach spreads throughout your body as warm, tingly sensations start to radiate throughout you. You feel Ellie's tongue slowly exploring your mouth as you both lean back into the sofa. Her tongue finds its way to your neck, slowly working its way downward to your chest. A gasp escapes your lips as your heart starts to beat even harder. Everything you know about Ellie begins to fade away as she gently bites at the skin on your neck.

Expanded Info for Black Sails Kink Meme 2024

Hi there!

Since there has been a sufficient amount of interest for this idea, let me explain a little further how I think this will work and general guidelines–

I’m encouraging as informal and low stress/pressure of an atmosphere as possible here. Back in The Day when LiveJournal Kink Memes were common, it was very typical to see a prompt put up and filled within an hour. It doesn’t have to be polished, it doesn’t have to make logistical sense, it just has to fill the prompt as best as you can, sexily! It’s supposed to be fun. A bunch of fun, raunchy kink and smut to roll around in as a fandom. 🥳 🥳

So yeah, first thing to expect, it’s basically ALL PWP (porn without plot). Not to say that someone can’t write a full plot epic if they like, do whatever you like, but in my experience, a 4am fugue state smut fill written in a sweaty haze is kind of, the spirit of the thing. We’re creating ficlets, snapshots, tasty treats of smut with as little pressure to make it in any way polished as possible. Please think of this as, hmmm, a little fun writing exercise you do before you go back to your Big Serious Work, if that helps. We are letting loose, we are having fun, we are being deliciously, joyously, unrepentantly filthy with it! The tagline for the event is: “Get High, Jerk Off Three Times, and Write Me a Warmup :DD”

It is helpful when submitting a prompt to give details that are important to you, and the prompt filler will do their best with it. <3 So, I suggest giving a ship specification up front, maybe a vague timeline (season 1, season 2, etc), and then the kinks you want to see with a short description. Sort of like the MaxAnne period sex I gave an example of above.

Logistics and Structure of Submissions–

I have created a sideblog called @blacksailskmeme through which, once submissions are live (it will be open to accept prompts hopefully in March 2024), you may submit ANON ASK PROMPTS. I will publish them with a number and a link to the collection. If you like one of the prompts, simply post it through the collection with its corresponding number and then that AO3 link to your fill will be reblogged underneath the original ask prompt.

Simple as that! 

Follow the Event Blog, or the tag #2024BSKMemeFills in order to keep tabs on when prompts are filled. 

This makes it very easy for me and yall both, as there is no claiming process to trouble ourselves with. As many fills as are written are allowed for each prompt, simply write whatever speaks to you and I’ll be able to track the fills by the notifs on the collection. :DD

um um um Tekken AU where Jun doesn't get got by Ogre and raises Jin, and also she helped iron things out among some of the Tekken 2 participants so she befriended them and they befriended each other, and in turn, their kids / grandkids became childhood besties. i have thoughts about this entire thing under the cut bc ive been rotating this au in my brain for so long LOL

in this AU, Jun doesn't get got by Ogre, so she's in Jin's life and he doesn't end up with Heihachi - but also Jun's presence helps clear up some of the stuff among the Tekken 2 participants so she becomes friends with Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Jinrei, Baek, and Michelle - probably would be on friendly terms with some others, but those are her main friend group

Jinrei and Lee help to hide Jin from Heihachi too, which is appreciated, but Jun largely moves around w Jin through his childhood, and Heihachi pays her no mind at all. they settle in Osaka near Asuka's part of the Kazama family tho, and everyone visits each other whenever they can - contributing to the kids becoming friends (will draw Asuka eventually)

Baek adopts Hwoarang when he's a lot younger for the sake of this AU, but also I think it adds an interesting thing bc haha he has to live with the guilt of killing his father but now HE is a father (((:

Uncle Lee is real to me. Uncle Lars would be real too, but I need to figure out where to fit him into the timeline, because he's actually around the same age as Forest????????

Okay so while I do art there's only so much my chronic pain ridden hands can produce and so animatics/animations aren't really in my wheelhouse BUT I have a bunch of ideas and songs that the Ninjago fandom should use + some ideas that yall can totally use (@ me or send them to me though if you do cause I want to see them)

Always Gold-Radical Face: Is literally a perfect song for Wu and Garmadon, like it's literally about two opposite brothers treading wildly different paths like what more could you want

Brutus- The Buttress: Yall please I am begging that someone does something with this song relating to Morro's hatred/jealousy towards Lloyd because this song is absolutely perfect for it! Lines such as "-and if you want I'll call you king but why do I lie awake each night thinking "instead of you it should be me"" and "Please know my actions are not motivated only by envy, I to have a destiny" there are so many more but I'll let yall do the rest of the work (Also you could kinda do it with Wu and Garmadon but ehhhh)

Human Enough- ONR: This could work for multiple of the characters if you ask me but if you ship anyone with Zane or Pixal the song could totally work those two them specifically cause it talks about the singers partner/love interest being "made perfect" and idk we need more Pixal content soooo. Honestly any of the characters that get de-human-ed (for longer than one episode) would do great with this song, like Cole in his ghost arc, Nya after Seabound or Garmadon at like any point in the story. Line examples: "Cause you are made of perfect stars and I was built from broken parts" and "I'm not human enough to love yo right now/ I'm not human enough to cry or cry for" are my personal favorites.

Laplace's Angel (Hurt People? Hurt People!)-Will Wood: Lloyd, Sora or Wu (Specifically the young version of him from the Spinjitzu Brothers books) song about the weight of the world being on your shoulders and not knowing what to do and like the consequences of actions and fun stuff like that

Easier- Crane Wives: Misako, like seriously so many Crane Wives songs work well for this woman because A) her whole attempt to change destiny or B) Her failure as a mother and you know the whole kinda cheating on her husband thing, but this one specifically cause it's a song about leaving someone behind and feeling bad while also not being able to stay. Lyrics such as "If you woke and I was gone from the house that we made our home would it bend yo, break you, overtake your heart?" and "I won't move but I can't stay here. So what the hell am I supposed to do?" and "If I were someone else, would this be easier?"

Stranglers Fig- This could definitely be a Cole (specifically relating to his father and dance backstory) or Kai song, many of the lyrics involve someone being pushed to do more and more and finally snapping because they've done everything they can and there's nothing left but their desire to be better. Lyrics "You bult your kingdom around me, now I'm trapped within your walls and all I want is to be free" and "Climb me to the canopy, higher, higher 'till there's nothing left of me." and "You're the culprit so don't blame me."

HIIIIIII life update: im gonna be taking a bit of a hiatus from writing fanfiction for who knows how long, probably until the fixation hits again and i cant be controlled, but truthfully my job era has made me realize that i CANNOT be working retail for the rest of my life. so, ive decided to write something original and do something with it. hopefully publish it. im nervous to say that out loud because i feel like im overestimating my abilities, but ill never know until i try. im hoping to be able to build a future doing something i really genuinely love, but i REALLY gotta lock in on writing it so it. because i have a hard time actually finishing things.

i wont be posting it anywhere online because that would make getting published hard, which is the end goal, and id hate to delete it after having it up. man idk that just doesnt sit right with me. im kind of sad my feedback will be limited due to this choice, and also because i REALLY love sharing my writing and im impatient. but hopefully the end goal will be well worth it.

On the topic of school, I also participate in band! I did summer marching band last year, and hopefully will continue to do so until I graduate. I am a percussionist, and my favorite instruments to play are bass drum, vibraphone, and this one specific marimba we have in class (no seriously, I could rant about how nice it sounds for HOURS). During marching band, I played second bass drum.

I just finished doing the Fishuary art challenge!! I plan to do MerMay and Goretober as well (yall BETTER hold me to that, I still haven't finished last year's Goretober).

Once I smashed my knee between a boat and dock at 8am bc I was running off of hot cocoa and 5 hours of sleep and thought my knee was a good cushion for the boat that was coming in at the wrong angle. Don't do that!! Hot cocoa induced decision making is bad! And boats are still very heavy even if they're very slow!!
