I have been watching/playing a lot of movies/games, and I’ve come to the realization of that there is absolutely zero “character x reader” content for them ANYWHERE… I know what I must do.
Prepare for stories including, but not limited to:
BASEketball: Joe “Coop” Cooper, Doug Remer
The Outer Worlds: Felix Millstone
Encino Man: Link
Bio-Dome: Bud, Doyle
Evil Dead (franchise): Ashley Williams, Pablo Bolivar
And many more💕
(Hopefully)
I will try to make as many as I can, but between school and trying to find inspiration it might take me a while.
Thank you! 😚❤️

At the End of the Day
Felix Millstone x Fem! Reader
Warnings: Smut.
Word Count: 2.3k
“I’ll always do everything I can to make it back to you guys...to make it back to you.”
Tumblr media
“Come on, ADA. Tell me a joke!” Felix persuaded the automated computer inside the navigation room.
“I am only authorized to take orders from the captain.” She repeated for the third time in her usual monotone robot voice.
Nyoka, Parvati, Ellie, and Felix had been left on the ship while the captain was out with Vicar Max and SAM. Felix hated being left behind on the ship. There never seemed to be enough to do. Sometimes he’d “redecorate” the kitchen upstairs to occupy his time or maybe even attempt to get Parvati to let him explain the complicated rules of tossball. Unfortunately, everyone left on The Unreliable were busy doing their own activities and chores. This left Felix to his own devices in terms of entertainment.
The captain had been gone for a couple of days, which wasn’t all that unusual, but the crew tended to worry the longer she was gone. There was no guarantee that she and whoever she took with her would make it back to The Unreliable. He was more than a little concerned now, but he was doing everything he could to not panic. He tried not to be so protective over her. She was a tough woman and independent as hell. But he couldn’t help it. He cared about her too much not to be worried.
So this is how he ended up trying to convince ADA to speak to him for the last ten minutes. He had overheard the captain ask ADA to play music or tell her something funny, so he decided to give it a whirl. He had to hand it to the late Alex Hawthorne...he programmed one stubborn assistant.
“I don’t think she’d mind if you told me just one joke. Please?” He begged.
After bantering back and forth for a few more beats, ADA responded;
“Okay, Felix. Transmitting a joke,” Felix tensed up with excitement, eager to hear what she’d say; “I used to hate math but then I realized decimals have a point.”
Felix’s brows furrowed. What kind of joke was that? Truth be told, Felix wasn’t always the brightest bulb in the box, but even Max (who tended to be the smartest) would have to think on her punchline for a moment or two. ADA needed some serious work on her stand-up comedy. Not wanting to hurt ADA’s feelings, Felix replied quickly;
“Oh...good one, ADA!” He complimented with a fake cheeriness to his voice.
Before she could detect his lie, the door to the ship opened and closed again, signaling the captain’s return.
“Welcome back, Captain.” ADA greeted.
A giddy feeling rushed through his body at the sound of three pairs of shuffling feet by the entrance. Felix rushed to the doorway of the navigation room to welcome them back. She was just taking her helmet off of her head, her hair shifting from being tucked inside. Her skin was glistening with the tiniest bit of sweat, giving her whole appearance a certain glow. Felix felt his heart skip a beat upon seeing her so stunning.
“Beautiful...” He said in a whisper under his breath.
She could really have him at her mercy. He was crazy about her. He almost felt like crying upon seeing her returned with perfectly good health.
“Good work, SAM and Max. You guys are good for the night.” She praised, dismissing them of any more duty.
“Thank you, customer!” SAM recited as he walked away behind Max to go clean whatever he felt like cleaning.
She finally looked in Felix’s direction, flashing him an award winning smile. He felt his body get warm as she approached him.
“Felix,” She began with a warning but amused tone; “Were you harassing ADA again?”
She stood in front of the navigation terminal, ready to get the hell off of Scylla. She hated Scylla. Between the primals, the raptidons, and mauraders, it was not an enjoyable place. She decided to have the ship be en route to Stellar Bay’s landing pad so that she’d be there by morning.
“I’m a comedy fan! I just wanted her to say something funny...which she sort of did.” He explained.
She laughed at his antics. For the longest time, Felix was a little spooked by ADA. He didn’t like the idea of the entire ship being controlled by a computer that could do whatever it wanted. Now he never seemed to want to leave ADA alone. The captain exited the room to the lockers just outside, putting away her gear. Felix followed suit and he leaned one arm on the lockers. His dark eyes refused to look away from her, fearing that she’d disappear if he did.
“How were things here? We ended up being gone for longer than I had originally planned.” She spoke.
He was really relieved she was back. He wanted nothing more than to scoop her up and hold her until he was fully sure she wasn’t going anywhere. She had yet to sense his worry melting off with each passing second. She was still winding down from a busy last couple of days herself.
“Ah, you know. It was the usual. A little boring, but productive.” He claimed.
She nodded with understanding. She knew how monotonous and bland the ship could get. Cabin fever was ten times worse on a spaceship if they didn’t get out enough. This is why she tried to let everyone tag along with her an even amount, much to Felix’s disappointment. He wanted to go every time she stepped foot off the ship. He believed that he should get extra outside time since he was her boyfriend. As a captain, however, she had to be fair to her crew. So Felix had his days of staying on the ship like everybody else. No matter how much he protested it.
“Good,” She said closing the locker in front of her; “You weren’t too worried that your favorite captain was gone for so long, were you?”
While she was purely joking, not really thinking he was concerned, he took her question will full seriousness. Honestly, he was about to have a breakdown if she hadn’t returned when she did.
“Let’s just say I’m glad you’re back, boss.” He said leaning to kiss her.
She ducked his lips and laughed sheepishly;
“I wouldn’t do that. I’m sweaty and...kind of gross.” She admitted.
He scoffed and rolled his eyes. He had seen and touched way worse. He persisted and kissed her deeply. This was odd. She could feel how desperate he felt. She was beginning to notice something was up.
She went about her nightly routine. She checked the engine room, made sure the rest of the crew was squared away, and tended to any housekeeping things. The entire time she was doing these things, Felix followed like a lost puppy. If she took two steps, he took two steps. If she turned to the left, he turned to the left. He didn’t dare be away from her for longer than a few minutes. If he kept his sights on her, then he was assured that she was safe.
It had been a long day and the days before it were even longer. She needed a decent night of sleep and just maybe a day off. She had never desired her bunk and a few moments of peace more in her life. By the looks of it, she’d be having an overnight guest. Not that she minded. It was a win-win to snuggle up with her favorite guy and perhaps get caught up on the latest tossball scores. However, based on the way Felix was acting, she was sure he had something else on his mind.
He was just a step behind her as they trudged up the stairs to the captain’s quarters. His hand was interlaced with hers, something that he didn’t do very often.
“The bed is going to feel so good,” She stated as the door to her room hissed open; “I’ve never been so happy to see it.”
Felix laughed genuinely;
“I know what you mean. You’ve gotta be exhausted.”
She let go of his hand to sit on the mattress to unlace her boots and toss them aside. Oh. That simply wouldn’t do. Felix practically ran to the bed himself and sat next to her, the sides of their legs touching. She paused, looking at his nonchalant expression. She raised a brow, because something was seriously up.
“What?” He asked as if he hadn’t been on her tail for the last hour.
“You care to tell me what’s going on?” She asked, leaning forward to rest her forearms on her knees.
Felix thought of denying anything. He didn’t want to admit he had been afraid. But he also didn’t want to lie to her. That wasn’t fair.
“Boss, I’m gonna be honest. I was real scared while you were gone,” He confessed; “I know sometimes things don’t go as planned, but the longer you were away the more freaked out I got.”
She was a little stunned at this revelation. She didn’t realize how much Felix dreaded her being away and him not being there too. She stayed quiet and listened as he went on;
“A million things were running through my head. What if primals took the three of you down or what if a group of mauraders snuck up on you?” He asked with a shaky voice; “If something happened to you out there and no one was left to come back...I’d never know what happened.”
Her heart ached at his words. She didn’t want him to concern himself with this. She took this job...or at least she was given this job because she was more than capable. She could handle yourself. Felix did have one valid point. Anything could happen at anytime.
“Felix, I had no idea you felt that way. If something were to happen, you would know. You don’t have to worry about me.” She said carefully taking his hand into hers.
His calloused fingers stroked her hand, he shook his head;
“Can’t help it. You mean so much to me. I have to worry.”
He could feel the growing pressure in his throat as he felt tears beginning to make their way to his eyes. He didn’t want to cry and make her feel guilty that he felt this way. It wasn’t her fault. He blinked his eyes rapidly to force the hot tears from spilling down his cheeks.
“Listen to me. Don’t think for a second that I don’t do everything in my power to make it back safely when things get dangerous,” She encouraged sweetly; “I’ll always do everything I can to make it back to you guys...to make it back to you.”
While Felix was beginning to feel comforted by what she was saying, there was still that tug in his chest that kept him feeling worrisome. He couldn’t wait any longer. He kissed her abruptly, the quiver in his lips a testament to his desperation. His hands cupped the sides of her neck to keep her close to him, her lips soft on his. She fell into his frame, knowing how much he needed to feel her physical form.
It wasn’t long after that she was on her back, Felix’s lips were hot on her neck as he left the most tantalizing kisses. He was going much slower than usual. He wanted to take his time with her and really marvel over her. The pressuring ache between her legs was growing rapidly, but she didn’t say anything just yet. she knew he needed this glacier pace.
She did, however, go ahead and unzip his pants to somewhat get things moving. He did the same, throwing her pants on the floor with her boots. His hand lingered around her heated sex, his finger wrapping around and pulling her underwear down.
“Felix...” She breathed out, her patience running thin.
She rested one hand on his right shoulder, her other hand being pinned above her head. His voice was like silk in her ear;
“I know,” He almost whispered; “I got you.”
He finally pushed into her entrance, the most satisfied moan drawing from her lips. She felt her walls take him in as he filled her in the most delicious way. He pulled himself out so sensually, just to push back in again. Every time he felt so good. It was hard not to scream for him to go faster. His head was in the crook of her neck, still leaving a trail of kisses.
“I’m right here,” She said in her most angelic voice; “I’m not going anywhere.”
His thrusts sped up at her words, a whimper escaping from his chest. He adjusted himself so he’d hit her sensitive spot each time he went back in. He was so grateful that she was here. Safe with him. He returned to a more normal pace, her end approaching quickly as he continued to slam into her.
“Oh Law,” She moaned out, hr legs instinctively wrapping around his waist.
He knew that was a signal for her high coming up, he thrusted even harder, his own self twitching. Her vision went white for a second as she rode out her climax, Felix’s own finish coming as well. His movements slowed and he collapsed on top of her half naked body. Their breathings were fast and deep as they recovered. She let a hand drag through his hair, stoking his soft tufts of darkness. His head rested on her chest as he listened to her heartbeat, another confirmation that she as fine.
“Felix,” She said after a few moments; “You’re okay. I’m okay.”
He nodded, kissing her once again.
“Yeah,” He said finally feeling the first sense of real relief; “I know.”
That’s when he knew that things were okay now. She as there in the flesh, alive and well.
That’s all he could ever want.

Fic Rec: Felix Millstone/Reader I
Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy by @glasswingsndreamz
[Completed series, 5 chapters] You just want to deal with the problems on Monarch so you can move on to the next task Phineas has for you. Let's just say your crush, Felix Millstone, flirting with the local bartender from Stellar Bay is not helping you feel any less cranky about the situation you're in. Don't worry though. Nyoka has an idea on how you can catch his attention.
Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
This is adorable as hell. Morosexual is right. Felix and the reader are both STUPID idiots throughout this fic and it is entertaining as hell to read about their pro gamer moves of love. This is just a really sweet, sweet fic to read.
Assimilation by chaoticamanda
[Ongoing series, 3 works]
Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
I don’t actually know how to describe this series. The Captain (Reader) is named Evie, and their personality sits squarely in the realm of normal-person-suddenly-forced-to-deal-with-all-this. There’s a lot of commentary on how strange Halcyon’s customs are compared to Earth’s, and a lot of the captain reflecting out loud on how out of place they feel with... just about everything. All three one-shots are good-sized Felix Millstone/The Captain fics and worth a read.
sugar water by lectrolamb
[Ongoing series, 8 chapters] This is a story about two people growing up - a process which is often messy, difficult, painful, and stupid. Especially when you're on an outlaw spaceship fighting oppression and restoring justice at the behest of a mad scientist, extra especially when things like love and friendship get involved, and super extra especially when everyone has guns. Lots and lots of guns.
Graphic Depictions of Violence
If you’re looking for an in-depth character-study of both Felix and The Captain, then you’ve come to the right place. The Captain is an incredibly multi-faceted character who’s past just keeps unfolding, and Felix is as earnest and brave as he ever is. I’m having a lot of fun taking my time reading this fic, and honestly, it’s a 10/10 so far.

The Vicar's Tiny Dancer
vicar max x f!reader
word count: +3k
Tumblr media
warnings: 18+, NSFW, unprotected sex, p in v sex, creampie, exhibitionism, biting, slightest blood mention, a vicar doing very un-vicarly things😌, porn without plot, smut under the cut
a/n: it's here y'all. going undercover as a bijous performer? wearing skimpy clothing and provoking a certain vicar? that mans fucking you behind the curtains? i think so😌 he's hot in this gif, not me listening to my burlesque playlist while writing this, i knew there was a good reason to make it✨
Tumblr media
You were in your captains quarters, door close behind you as you stood before your desk holding the article of clothing that consisted of straps of fabric. It was shiny and bold, the costume intimidating you yet at the same time excited you. Your next job needed you to do undercover at Bijous and to say you were nervous was an understatement. Though you were doing your best to keep it at bay, you were still the "stoic captain" of the Unreliable, but you digress. Tonight was the night of the job, and you were excited though also terrified.
Putting on the rather confusing outfit, you eventually manage to get it on. You look yourself over the best you could without a mirror, from what you could see the straps really accentuated your features, your nerves jolt at the thought of really wearing this in public. 'At least I'll be paid..' You put on a long coat, there was no way you were walking around the ship let alone Byzantium in just this ridiculous custume, besides you were starting to get a bit chilly. You left your quarters, gathering Felix and Max, who are to be your makeshift bodyguards, and headed out into the bustling city.
You felt like you had some dirty secret under your coat as you walked through Byzantium, and in a way you really did. You shivered as a breeze blew through your coat, "Who the hell designed these outfits. I can't even consider them clothes, they aren't even covering anything." You grumbled in annoyance, pulling your coat tighter around you as you spoke. Felix laughs at your visible discomfort.
"Oh come on boss, I'm sure you look great. You should get over your fears and walk around the city without the coat, you know, to get the confidence flowing." He teases you, you throw him a halfhearted irritated glance though an amused smirk grows on your face.
"You wish." You retort, turning back ahead of you, keeping your arms crossed tightly around your midsection.
"What do you think Max? Or would that be too 'un-vicarly' of you to watch." Felix pokes at Max who stayed quiet on your other side as the three of you kept walking.
"Very funny Mr. Millstone." Max spoke quietly, voice strained as his eyes stayed glued ahead of him, you notice his somewhat uncomfortable states.
"Lay off him Felix. I brought you along to play a bodyguard so you're going to have to be able to act like one, which means staying quiet." You smile smugly back to Felix next to you who gives you a defeated look but says nothing, pursing his lips in response.
You arrive at the club, entering the grand establishment filled with lights, people, and music. Dancers were up on the stage, patrons mingling and drinking, bartenders keeping busy. This place would be a nice place to visit if you weren't trying to con your way through the establishment to get backstage. "Alright boys, it's showtime." You mumble to Max and Felix on either side of you as you made your way to the guarded doors leading to the backstage halls. You approach the men standing guard next to the backstage access, grabbing their attention as you stepped closer.
You watch the men turn to the three of you, they eye you expectantly, "I need to get back there, my show starts in ten minutes and I still haven't done my hair." You say, motioning to the stage and yourself as you spoke. They followed your motions then looked at each other as if to decide whether to let you in or not.
"Alright, but just you, your men stay out here." One of them say sternly, standing his ground as he spoke. You let out a sigh before continuing.
"Actually I'm gonna need them to come with me, I can't trust the people around here, you know that." You lean in for the last bit, looking around you as if hoping to not let anyone passing by hear. The men look to each other once more, one nodding before the other who had spoken turns back to you.
"Only one." He says in simple words, a clear statement that he would not be changing his mind. 'Well one if better than none.' You thought to yourself. You turn to Max nodding before looking to Felix.
"Stay out here." You tell him, motioning to Max to go in first, "Keep an eye out." You murmur to Felix who gave you a subtle nod before you left, following Max past the doors.
The halls leading to the back were surprisingly empty as the two of you walked through them. You were glad you were able to convince those guards from earlier, you didn't want to have to fight through anyone in the ridiculous outfit you were hiding under your coat. You find the main stage entrance easily, you lead the way, sneaking behind the curtains to the dressing rooms in the back. As the more people you passed, the more evident it became that they found you out of place. You noticed their stares and so did Max, you almost cursed yourself, you knew it was how you looked and you knew the only way to blend in was to reveal your dreaded costume.
You head towards another set of curtains near the end of the stage around the corner, out of view from anyone working back stage and on stage. You sigh before turning back to Max, "Sorry." You apologize meekly in advance before you begin to undo your coat.
You see Max tense slightly, "Of course- I uh, no worries." He stumbles on his words as he watches your movements intently. He watches your hands slowly work to unravel your coat, more and more of your body exposed with every second. Your coat falls from your shoulders, revealing every strap along with every ounce of skin that had been left unclothed by your costume. Max couldn't help but trail his eyes down your figure, every inch of you was exposed, the fabric truly leaving nothing to the imagination. He swallows hard, his eyes glossing over every dip and curve of your body before he snaps them back up to your face.
You noticed him stare and you couldn't really blame him. The costume really showed too much, it was impossible to not look though that didn't stop your cheeks from flushing faintly. His eyes lift back to your eyes in an instant as if he'd caught himself, realizing he was ogling for longer than he should of or if he should at all. You see him open his mouth in an attempt to apologize, though he stammers on his words, his own cheeks tinging pink. "It's fine," you begin, tucking the coat aside on the floor next to the curtain, "I mean you can't really avoid it can you?" You chuckle softly, shifting your eyes away from his as you begin to feel intimidated by his gaze.
"You look good." You hear him speak quietly, almost like he wasn't meant to say it aloud. You look back at him, you notice how his eyes have glazed over as they now travel across your body shamelessly. You could see the way his resolve to stay mostly respectful had began to falter in the way his body relaxed as if lost in a dream. Your blush crept up your neck, drowning in his gaze as you stood practically bare for only his eyes to see. His words of admiration had left your stomach flipping, the way he watched you even more so.
Max took a few steps towards you before he caught himself, stopping in his tracks before snapping his eyes back to yours. "I- My apologies. I don't-.." He fumbled on his words, his own mind conflicting with itself as if trying to decide whether to look away to give you privacy or to keep eye contact to be polite. You found his stammering endearing though you knew the thoughts running through his head, he wasn't too good at hiding them. You couldn't blame him, in his defence you were nearly nude before him.
Slowly growing more comfortable with your situation, you step forward, your own self confidence growing too bold for your own good. "Like I said," you begin, trailing your hand delicately down his chest, "it's alright." You purr lowly, peering up at him through your lashes. He lets out a strangled whine, the last bit of his self control crumbling within your touch.
As if on command of your assurance, Max's hands fly to your waist, grabbing your bare skin before his lips are on yours. His lips move against yours hastily, stepping you back against the curtains as he kissed you roughly. Your back hit the wall that stood behind the curtain, the fabric of the curtain enveloping the two of you as your hands roamed each others bodies. Your shared kiss a mess of lips and tongue, teeth biting flesh, moans and groan swallowed by one another.
Your hands come to cup his face, pulling him impossibly closer as Max pulls your hips to his. He stands between your legs, nudging your centre with his knee eliciting a whimper form your lungs. You grip the collar of his shirt pulling him down to your level as you grind your hips against his thigh. Max's hands are quick to work on his pants, undoing them just enough to free his hardening erection from its constriction. He holds his cock in his hand giving it a few pumps as the other fumbles with your costume, struggling to figure out how to disentangle you from it. "How the fuck does this thing work." His voice is gritted against your lips as he pulls away from your kiss, peering down at your garment.
With an irritated grumble, Max pushes the fabric aside, exposing your cunt to the cool air before he's aligning himself to your entrance. A groan escapes him as he pushes his tip past your folds, pressing his body against yours as his cock slides into your slick cunt. His hand pulls at your neck, bringing your lips back to his as he begins to buck up into you. His grunts are muffled against your lips as he kisses you sloppily, melding his tongue against yours and shallow breaths escape your lungs against his mouth.
Your quiet whimpers are masked by the booming music of the club and the bustling noise of chatter. Moan after moan is pulled from your tongue as Max's drives his cock into your intoxicating pussy, his own pleasure causing him to quicken his pace desperately. You sling one leg around his, tugging him closer as he fucked you up against the curtain. His hand comes down to pull your thigh higher, stepping a leg forward into you with a harsh thrust of his hips causing a moan to rip from your throat. You'd hoped no one had heard but then again this was a burlesque establishment, perhaps this kind of thing happened more often than not.
You throw your arms around his shoulders, squeezing him between your thighs. Max seems to catch on to your indication, his other hand reaching down to hook around the back of your thigh, kissing your deep before he scoops you off the ground. With a mewl you hook your legs properly around his waist, your weight pushing you down all the way down onto his cock, pushing him balls deep into your cunt. The two of you moan in unison, your hands gripping into his hair as Max readjusts himself, shoving you harder into the cushioned wall.
Max pulls his lips away from yours as he pounds his cock mercilessly into your cunt, a throaty groan vibrating in his chest as he works harder and faster. His hands are rough as they grip your thighs, another frustrated groan leaves him before he's stilling his thrusts just enough to move his arms. He makes quick moves to lift of your legs before his arms are hooking under your knees, pulling your legs up to rest at his elbows. Your feet dangle outwards, his hold on your spreading your legs wide as he resumes his quick, rough pace.
Your arms around his shoulders and neck tighten as he pounds into you, the new position allowing him more leverage to fuck you deeper and harder. Your moans and mewls are incomprehensible, a mumbled mess of cries as his cock drives into your abused cunt senselessly. Your sounds are reaching louder and louder with every thrust, Max's mouth coming down to seal over yours as he swallows your moans. He attempts a kiss, "Shh.." He hushes against your lips, pulling back just enough to watch you attempt to stifle another moan, your eyes boring into his with furrowed brows as he continues his thrusts. "Fuck-" Max says breathily with a sharp snap of his hips.
The way you looked as he fucked you, the way you looked at him, the expression on your face, the feeling of you in his arms squeezing around his cock. It was almost all too much. Max bared his teeth, jaw clenched as the pleasure coursed through his body, his balls slapping against your ass and he bounced you on his cock. You felt so vulnerable in his hold, unable to move, unable to go anywhere besides further onto his cock. Max had full control of you in the way he carried you, in the way he fucked you. He had the power to pull you off his cock any moment, or perhaps keep you on forever.
Your grip on his neck tightens once more, clinging to him as he pumped himself fiercely into your numbing cunt. His rough thrusts surely bruising your cervix, who knew if you'd be able to walk once he was done with you but that was an issue for later. Your pussy clenched him with every hit of his tip breaching your womb, the angle of which he held you giving him too much of an advantage to ruin you. With every thrust Max's pubic bone hits your clit, the combination of pleasure from your bundle of nerves and your cunt almost bringing you to tears.
You throw your head back against the wall, your hair surely knotting into a mess against the curtain with every pushing thrust. You stifled your moans the best you could, throat tight, hurting as your mouth hung open from the pleasure. The pleasure builds in you core, every sensation sending you closer to your release. "Law! Fuck, Max!" Your poor excuse of a sentence fell from your lips, one word every thrust as you watched his face contort in bliss.
The sounds of cheer and laughter beyond the curtains filtering out of your senses as Max fucked you into the wall. His hips stutter, cock throbbing and prodding inside your sopping cunt as his glossy eyes rake over your poor state. He could see the way his cock was pumping into your cunt, see the way his cock filled your insides from the surface. A subtle bulge forming where his cock bottomed out inside you with every thrust, your little cunt completely stuffed full of him. The sight sending his mind reeling, he couldn't think straight, the sight and feeling of your too much to bare.
Max falls against you, mouth latches onto your neck as his sloppy thrusts buck into your ravished cunt. His teeth bite into your shoulder, you feel his quick hot breath fan across your skin as he clamps your delicate flesh between his teeth, hard enough to draw blood if he'd wished. Your fingers rake up his hair, gripping and pulling hard as his cock pummels your hole. Your pleasure engulfs you sooner than you expected. You catch yourself, doubling into Max as he fucked you through your orgasm, every thrust hitting your sweet spot, perfectly dragging in and out of your convulsing cunt.
Your clenching edges Max into his release, his choked cry muffled into your skin, his moan guttural and raw in his throat. His orgasm erupting from him in waves of white hot pleasure as he snaps hard shallow thrusts into your cunt with every pump of his cum. Max presses his chest against yours as he empties his balls within your worn pussy, shooting his load into your cunt like it was the last thing he'd do. You mind goes blank, eyes clenched shut as the final waves of your crushing orgasm washes over you. Your grip in his hair loosening as you come down from your high, feeling Max's cock throb within you as he regains control of his breath. Your heartbeats pounding against one another, quickened breaths echoing in each other’s ears.
Max slowly pulls out of you stringing a squeal from your lips as his head pops out of your oversensitive cunt. The pop is wet, a mix of your slick and his cum squelch with the movement making you whimper. He gently slides your garment back over your pussy, placing your legs back down next. As your feet coming back in contact with the ground, his hands hold your waist in caution while you stabilize your wobbling legs. Tucking himself back in his pants, his hands eagerly come back to your sides, brushing your skin gingerly. His lips come to your cheek as your hands fall to his arms holding you, he places a soft peck on your warm skin as he slides your hand into his grasp. He holds your hand delicately, "As we were?" A soft smile creeps to his lips as he steps away from you, hand still holding yours.
You attempt a step forward but your knee buckles, your grip on him tightens. "I might need a minute." Your cheeks flush as you smile sheepishly. Max chuckles, carefully beginning to guide you to an empty dressing room.
"As long as you need." He says, pressing a kiss to your temple.

Felix is a good boy. He says his Hail Mary’s when told to, he sits in his pew every Sunday, and he walks the straight and narrow. He knows he isn’t perfect, no one could ever be, but he tries his best. Despite his lashing tongue and his judgmental heart, he is a good boy.  Felix knows this is wrong. There is no way to avoid it. No matter how many deluded lies he paints to himself, this is wrong. He shouldn’t be entangled with you, so soft and innocent, staring up at him like he builds the world with his own two hands. Somehow, he finds himself falling into temptation. You look so soft, laying under him on your pure white sheets, the picture of chastity and virtue.
I confess to Almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters...
The desire to feel the flesh of another is almost carnal. When the feeling takes, it devours the mind of its rational and sinks its teeth into you with such enthusiasm that it burns. Felix can’t pinpoint where this urge comes from, maybe some part deep in his instincts, beyond his control. Despite his baptism, perhaps it is the original sin still coursing through his veins. Or, maybe he is weak, crumbling to the hands of desire, entangled in the lust, suffocating in the warm aura of your body. Part of him feels guilty, ashamed of the shivers that ravage down his spine at your soft moans. It is impossibly hot in this room (when did it get so hot), and his head is thumping, the blood rushing out of his brain and straight down to his cock.
That I have gravely sinned.
Your eyes are watery, lips blooming open, breathing heavy and ragged. You mess with the buttons of his shirt, the soft white fabric feeling like heaven under your fingers. He lets you fumble with them, popping each off with a satisfying sound, exposing his tanned skin to your hungry eyes. “Lix,” you whine, voice soft and achy. “Please, please touch me.” He observes your form beneath him, top completely exposed, leaving just your small skirt and panties on. He reaches a hand into your hair, feeling it beneath his fingers. He gives a light tug and feels his breath tighten at the moan you let out. “You’re so sensitive,” he whispers, mostly to himself. He gulps as his hand falls lower, brushing across your face, feeling your skin burning up under his fingertips.
In my thoughts and in my words…
He squeezes your face softly, testing the waters. When he pinches it hard, you gasp. Something deluded inside of him is satiated at your groans of pain, filling him with a sadistic pleasure that makes him shake. He lets his thumb caress your lips softly before plunging behind them to your eagerly waiting mouth. Your tongue swirls around him, looking at him with exaltation, making him an idol in your little paradise. He removes his thumb, letting your slobber dribble out of your mouth and onto your jaw. You look so stainless, even as your innocence is slipping away from beneath you. His hands trace down, brushing from your jaw to your neck, before wrapping his fingers around your pretty little throat. He can feel your pulse pounding against his hand, a mixture of fear and excitement painted in your pupils. “P-please,” you choke out, drooling like a stupid little puppy at the lack of oxygen flowing to your brain.
In what I have done, and what I have failed to do…
His culpability weighs on him heavily. He can’t help but think to the Savior’s command, “but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” He seals his fate as he removes his hand from your neck, bringing his mouth down to it. He lets his tongue lick and suck your soft flesh, gnashing his teeth into your collarbones as he works his way down. Each tender mewl pulls from your mouth with ease, a choir of heavenly sighs filling the confines of your bedroom. He reaches your breast, glancing through his messy hair to look at your expression.
Through my fault, through my fault…
He brings his mouth to your roused nipple, spurred on by each gentle sob at the flick of his tongue. Your hands tangle in his hair, yanking at the locks with reckless ardor. There are plenty of words to describe the way you feel beneath him, but he can only think of heaven. He always had a mind bound for the Kingdom, but somehow he feels the flame licking his heels. He moves to the give the other breast the same treatment, sucking up each whiney pant leaving your lips. Your thighs rub together in expectation, your essence drenching through the silky fabric. The feeling of his mouth against your chest is almost so pleasurable that it pains you, the transgressions of your pleasure almost forgotten with the flick of his tongue. He lets his mouth free with a satisfying pop, smiling up at you through his dark lashes.
Through my most grievous fault.
“Should I stop?” He whispers, voice filled with trepidation. As much as his guilt rocks through his body, Felix knows he could never stop now. The Garden of Eden must pale in comparison to the landscapes of your body, the Forbidden Fruit a mere rotten apple to the one lamenting out his name. The words leave your lips before you can think them, “Never stop.” Just as Jesus listens to the ordination of a Virgin, Felix complies with your words. He continues to kiss down your body, reaching the waistband of your skirt. Each time his lips touch your skin, you shiver the feeling, every nerve in your body alive and well.
Therefore I ask the Blessed Mary Ever-Virgin…
You had heard about the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, that the body of believers was the closest you would ever get. Maybe you hadn’t known that in full until his hands are pulling down your skirt, exposing your soaked panties into full view before him. How amazing must it feel to be reunited with your Creator if his tongue gliding along the fabric feels like ecstasy? Is this what paradise feels like? You want to contemplate more on the mystery of faith, but you are distracted by the feeling of Felix’s tongue working through your panties. You grip the sheets, letting a ramble of his name fall off your tongue like a prayer.
All the Angels and Saints….
He reaches down, hooking his fingers through the fabric and pulling down with an agonizing pace. Each touch against your skin dithers your composure more, pulling you further and further into a delirium of pleasure. When he finally spreads your legs apart, you wait for the years of humiliation and shame to overflow your senses. The Catholic guilt burned into your very being should be all you can think about, but your body is overtaken by the feeling of his tongue diving between your folds. Your body is so uncorrupted, all the new sensations making you twinge in sensitivity. His tongue explores your stainless cunt, claiming the flesh all for his own.
And you, my brothers and sisters….
The feeling of Felix’s tongue ravaging your cunt is enough to push you close to the edge, dancing on the edge of pure bliss. He swirls his tongue around your little clit, making you jerk against his face. He works between your legs as if he is oppressively thirsty, desperate for the living water. As the coil building up in your core threatens to snap, you reach a wanton hand out, desperately to feel something to hold you to gravity. His hand finds yours, locking fingers in an iron grip before your orgasm finally crashed over you. The pleasure radiating over every inch of your body travels in waves, brain melting into a beatitude that leaves you numb. He stops when you begin to jerk away from his touch, agonizingly sensitive in his hands.
To pray for me, to the Lord our God.
As you lay next to him, melted in a puddle of bliss, Felix’s eyes drift to the Crucifix hanging on the wall above your bed. The initial feelings of apprehension are returning, suffocating him with guilt of his actions. The weight of your corruption finds itself comfortably on his shoulders, settling into his bones and moving into his consciousness. He stares up at the ceiling, crucified with shame and guilt.
I confess to Almighty God...

Felix Millstone x Fem. Reader
Warnings: Language
A/N: Not many Felix fics on here...
Word Count: 3,308
“Baby, you’re one of the damn finest captains to ever run a ship.”
__
“Welcome back, Captain.” ADA’s computer generated voice rang out in the entrance of The Unreliable.
The captain groaned under her breath as she closed the airlock of the ship behind her. She said a silent thank you to whoever was listening that she made it back in one piece and in relatively good health. She was a little banged up, but nothing a shot of adreno wouldn’t fix. It was her duty to save Halcyon...or at least get it going in the right direction. She knew this very well. Dr. Welles wouldn’t have woken her up from a 70 year hibernation if he didn’t think she had what it took. But this last mission had been a rough one.
Initially, she wasn’t sure if she could afford to spend time on this mission. It was out of the way and where they would have to go was deep into the Monarch wilderness. However, Nyoka had been so hesitant to ask for the captain’s help which showed her how desperate she actually was. This was even more obvious considering that Nyoka hadn’t known the captain very long to be asking for personal favors. It was important to her to visit Hayes’ grave and try to find the rest of her old hunting squad. So, the captain figured it was worth the trip. She knew how important closure could be.
The captain, Nyoka, and Ellie had hiked a ways into Monarch and into the old cave that Nyoka and her previous team had made into a base camp. Sadly, they only found the dead bodies of her beloved friends and ended up putting them to rest once the rogue mantiqueen was taken care of. It was hard on Nyoka especially, but it even got the captain thinking about the current situation. Here she was, a Hope colonist who was thrown into a space pod by some crazed scientist for all she knew with the task of saving an entire colony. She had been asleep for the last 70 years and now she was supposed to hop between planets to save them from turmoil? It was insanity. She was only human and could only handle so much. She was thankful that she had been able to assemble a team along the way.
She met Parvati first. It was just the two of them for a while. She was the first friendly face the captain had met on her journey. She saved Parvati from the destruction of Edgewater and their crooked mayor. The captain desperately needed her engineering skills as well as a sharp mind to keep the ship in order. She was nice company and always willing to lend a hand. She never let her forget how grateful she was.
Vicar Max was a challenge in the beginning. She didn’t like the fact that this esteemed priest had asked her for a favor the moment she met him. She wasn’t sure if his spiritual counseling skills would be beneficial to the team. After all, she needed a gang of intelligence and physical combat skills. Max proved himself through his computer hacking skills which wasn’t something she would’ve expected from a vicar. He grew on her quickly and she was happy to have him around.
SAM was actually the last person she recruited into your party. Honestly if she hadn’t taken the time to deeply search through the late Alex Hawthorne’s spaceship, she never would’ve noticed him. He was stashed away in one of the closets upstairs, so at first she thought he was just used for parts. Once she took the time to get him fixed, he was up and off to work. She didn’t really ask him to be a part of the crew. He sort of just got started on his own. He didn’t say much, but he was a good fighter and kept things spiffy and clean.
At the time she met Ellie, she was in desperate need of a medic. She could only do so much, so having a doctor around was helpful. Ellie had the most secretive background of everybody. She came from one of the wealthiest families in Byzantium and really could’ve had it made. The captain commended her for living the life she wanted to live, even if it meant risking having her own flesh and blood disowning her. She was often the one the captain turned to when she needed to talk, because Ellie would tell it to her straight. She never left a conversation with Ellie still wondering how to handle something.
The captain tended to think that she saved Nyoka’s life. She was a drunk living in Monarch. She had been burned one too many times by the evil things of the world. Captain never judged her for how she chose to cope with her hurt and losses. She had a fiery passion for helping others and bettering the colony. The captain admired her worth ethic. It was her family and friends above all else. She was very loyal to those she cared about. She rarely questioned her captain’s decision making and always backed her up through it all.
Then there was Felix. Oh, wow. When she first met him on Groundbreaker, it was the first time she had stopped in weeks. He had been standing near the landing pad, arguing away with one of the mardets about something sketchy he had done. She had taken the time to stop to speak to him. She immediately noted that he wasn’t shy when it came to a fight. He wasn’t shy when it came to violence. Truthfully, Felix had kind of brushed her off at first. He didn’t seem very interested in joining The Unreliable. So, she moved on.
She completed a few favors for Groundbreaker’s main engineer Junlei Tennyson. Once the business was settled there, the captain decided it was time to set flight. As she was leaving, she saw Felix standing by the entrance of The Unreliable. She was surprised to see him, considering he hadn’t seemed too impressed by her before. He complimented the ship, claiming that she needed him to join her team.
She already knew she was going to say yes. However, she wasn’t going to be seen as a pushover. Because she wasn’t. He was delighted that she had given him a chance. He read his list (literally) of reasons as to why she should hire him. She was amused by him. He interested her. So of course she hired him on the spot.
He was like a kid on Christmas when he set foot on The Unreliable. She later learned that he had never been on a real spaceship. As a matter of fact, Felix had never even left Groundbreaker before. He was born and somewhat raised on Groundbreaker, living in the Back Bays all his life. It was all he knew. He was going to see space for the first time and get to explore new planets. She was his golden ticket to a more exciting life.
It wasn’t long after Felix joined that she grew closer to him. She felt wrong for a while for being so drawn to him. She was his “boss” as he always called her as well as his captain. But at the same time, she was really just his friend that happened to be in command of the ship he now lived on. They were the only real night owls, so they spent a lot of time into the late night hours just chatting. Getting to know each other over a bottle of spectrum vodka and strengthening a personal connection. Soon enough, they were sort of the equivalent of a modern day couple.
The rest of the crew sensed that something was up, but they had yet to officially say anything. The crew didn’t mind. They all agreed that she deserved someone loyal like Felix. They knew she would never favor him over anybody else, because she was always fair.
So, here she was now. She was just plain exhausted and needed some time to wind down. She had originally planned on leaving Monarch and docking at Groundbreaker to get some drinks before turning in. However, the mission had taken longer than expected, so she decided to stay in Stellar Bay and hit up Groundbreaker in the morning to give everybody a day off. They needed it. She entered the control room to deactivate ADA:
“ADA, we’ll head for Groundbreaker in the morning. You can shut down for the night.” She ordered the PC system.
“Docked in Stellar Bay and shutting down, Captain.” She replied before her screen went black.
It was ironic that you always had to tell ADA when to turn off. She couldn’t really turn off, because then the whole ship would go dark.
The captain felt relieved to have made it back safely. For there were a few moments where she had her doubts. She left the control room and climbed the stairs. Everybody was sitting around the table, Nyoka and Ellie looking especially tired. The captain’s eyes flicked over to Felix who was fiddling with the tossball that he always kept in his pocket. He flashed his girlfriend a grin, however it faded into a sympathetic frown when he noted how drained she looked. Everybody else looked at her upon noticing her standing in front of them;
“Hey, guys. Change of plans. We’ll leave in the morning for Groundbreaker. It’s late and quite honestly, I don’t feel like traveling,” She admitted; “Take it easy tonight. Tomorrow will be our off day to piddle around Groundbreaker. Get some rest.”
Everybody agreed happily to a day off and dispersed into their respective sleeping quarters. She rubbed her eyes to keep herself from getting too tired. She still had a few things she needed to do, so she wouldn’t be turning in just yet. She made sure to turn SAM off for the evening. SAM could power down on his own, but he often had the tendency to roam the ship freely during the night. Parvati had been spooked one too many times by SAM walking into her room unannounced.
She felt a hand on her shoulder as she went to approach the stairs to go back down. She looked up to meet Nyoka’s gaze. She had a certain gleam in her eyes past the fog of sleeplessness;
“Thanks for today. I really appreciate it, Captain,” She gratefully said; “I can rest easy now knowing they’re at peace.”
“Of course, Nyoka. Anything for you,” The captain returned with a smile; “Get some sleep. ADA will wake us in the morning.”
Nyoka returned to her room and the captain went back downstairs to her room. Truthfully, she wouldn’t be able to sleep even if she didn’t have work to do. She had too much on her mind. She sat at the long desk across from the bed, thumbing through files and papers that Alex had left behind. He had left piles and piles of reports about all the planets in the colony. She could just ask ADA, but these were personal notes and maps. They were useful, but detailed. It took serious time to go through them. Soon after she had sat down, she heard a voice from behind her;
“Hey, Boss,” Felix said gently tapping on the doorway; “You got time for a nightcap?”
She turned to see him standing there with two cups wrapped in one of his hands. She felt a warmth creep over her at the sight of him. She needed someone to talk to.
“Always,” She said, accepting his request to enter. A goofy smile appeared on his face as he entered and he handed her one of the cups. She thanked him before scolding him; “I told you that you don’t have to call me Boss.”
He shrugged as he took the chair adjacent to her for himself;
“It’s got a nice ring to it. I save Captain for special occasions.” He said sipping whatever was in the cups.
Speaking of, she peered down into the ceramic mug to see a familiar purplish liquid bouncing back your reflection. She smiled softly as she raised the rim to her lips, letting the sweet liquid grace over her taste buds.
“I hope you don’t mind sharing the portion. I know we usually get our own but we’re low on purpleberry juice so I split a bottle between us.” He said sliding down into his chair slightly and entwining one of his legs with hers.
“Oh, that’s totally fine. I’ll be sure to pick some up tomorrow,” She stated, taking another sip; “How were things here today?”
Felix rolled his head from side to side in an attempt to work out any kinks. He laughed shortly;
“Ah, the usual. SAM cleaned every square inch of the ship. Parvati spent all day writing a message to Junlei. Max had his nose in a book all day,” He explained; “I, on the other hand, was actually productive.”
He reached into his pocket, pulling out a carton of cigarettes that he picked up on Scylla. They weren’t his favorite Spacer’s Choice brand of smokes, but they would do. He offered her one first, lighting it for her, and then picking one for himself. She raised a brow at his previous statement, hiding her unconvinced smirk behind the cup;
“Is that so?” She asked for elaboration.
“Yeah! I organized all my tossball cards from my favorite to least favorite. It took me almost all day!” He clamored.
She laughed heartily. Only Felix Millstone would consider that to be productive. However, considering he didn’t get into any actual trouble, she would take that any day. She watched as he brought the cigarette to his lips that were upturned into an amused smile.
“Well, I’m glad you have your priorities straight.” She said sarcastically.
His eyes brightened;
“Hey! At least I didn’t get in a fight with ADA this time. I minded my business,” He defended; “But enough about me. How did it go with Nyoka and Ellie? You ladies seemed extra worn out.”
She sighed, her smile disappearing from her face. His heart did a quick pang in his chest when he saw her demeanor change so quickly. He had wanted to go with her on Nyoka’s detour mission. The captain had told him no, considering he had just gone on the previous one. He always felt that he could save her some grief if he went along on difficult missions.
“It was long. It was hard...mentally and physically. Especially for Nyoka. She was expecting to find at least one of them alive. They were all dead.” She said recalling the overrun cave.
Felix winced at the thought. He had grown up in the Back Bays of Groundbreaker. He had seen his fair share of people get killed, but nobody he really cared about. She took a long drag of her cigarette. Letting the smoke fill her lungs completely.
“Marauders?” Felix asked referring to how they had died.
She shook her head as she released the puff from her chest through her nose.
“We don’t know for sure. We think it was mantipillars. Nyoka seemed sure that there was no way marauders could’ve found that cave.” She explained.
She had agreed with Nyoka’s theory. It had taken some serious navigation to get there and even with Nyoka’s help she still got turned around. She took another sip of her juice, hoping that maybe she’d get sleepy soon. She didn’t want to put her problems onto Felix, because that wasn’t his burden to bear. She knew that he enjoyed listening to her. He cared about her a lot and he was thrilled to hear about her thoughts...even if he didn’t get it. He was more than willing to help where he could.
“How do you feel about it? Now that you’re back and the job is done?” He questioned, leaning forward to be closer to her.
She looked down into her cup, swirling the juice around the sides and letting it splash back into the center. She didn’t want to look at him. That’s when he could really see through her. She felt so vulnerable.
“I feel lost,” She admitted; “I don’t know what I’m doing, Felix.”
He furrowed his brows, cradling his cup in both his hands with his cigarette between his index and middle finger;
“Do any of us really know what we’re doing? I thought you told us to take things step by step?” He asked.
“Well, yeah. I still believe that, but I mean me personally. I’ve been tasked with saving Halcyon from completely falling apart by some man that could be a total fraud for all I know. I feel so incompetent.” She confessed.
A blank stare crossed Felix’s face. Law bless him. He didn’t have the best range of vocabulary.
“I feel like I’m not good at anything I do.” She said defining the word she had just said.
Felix looked shocked at her words. That was crazy. She had been busting it the last several months trying to accomplish her bestowed goal. He had seen her at her best and at her worst. She took everything in stride and gave everything her best shot. She was friendly and kind to those who had good intentions and stone cold to those who took advantage of innocent people. She was a blend of warm and tough. She was the perfect person in his eyes.
“Are you kidding? [Y/N], you’re not at all incontinent.” He said using the wrong word.
She snorted at his horribly wrong use of the word. If only Felix knew what the word he had just said actually meant.
“Incompetent.” She corrected.
He chuckled. She could be such a smart ass.
“Right. Anyways, you’re great at what you do. I’ve seen it myself.” He proclaimed.
Her gaze averted downwards again, not feeling convinced.
“You’re just saying that because you like me.” She said half joking.
“Well, you’re not wrong. I do like you. A lot. But I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it.” He said truthfully; “Baby, you’re one of the damn finest captains to ever run a ship.”
She finally looked at him, taking the cigarette from her lips;
“This isn’t even my ship, Felix. It was a total accident that I ended up on this thing.” She argued.
“It is your ship,” He retorted; “You were assigned to it. You made this ship your own. You gathered your own crew and your own life here. So, you’re wrong. This is your ship.”
He had a point. She did take over the ship without a second thought. She improvised. She was quick thinking on her feet. She overcame. Isn’t that what captains are supposed to do? She finished off her cigarette and the last of her juice. He had gotten through to her enough to make her feel more comfortable. The whole 70 year hibernation had done a number on her emotions.
“It’s my ship,” she repeated; “I am the captain.”
He smiled proudly;
“Damn right you are. I’m proud of you. I’m glad to be your right-hand man.” He beamed.
He kissed the back of her hand, guiding her out of her chair. He disposed of his own cigarette and he tore her away from the desk. Soon enough, she was in bed, curled up next to him. His arm was wrapped around her, keeping her warm and comfortable. He kissed her temple, rubbing her back gently. He wanted her to get a good night of sleep so she could enjoy their day off tomorrow.
“Goodnight, Felix.” She whispered just before falling asleep.
He rested his chin on her head, watching the stars outside the observatory window and into the endless space.
“Night, Captain.”

A Team Matter
__
Felix Millstone x Fem. Captain
Warnings: Language

“This is our mission. You just happen to be the captain of it.”
__
Her team was like family to her. From the young and youthful Parvati to the auto mechanic SAM, every single one of her crew had a special place in her heart. Truth be told, none of the missions she had been on so far would’ve been possible without their help along the way. The Captain admired their hard work ethic and their loyalty. It was rare for any of them to question her judgement or decision making. Whatever she would do or say, they would be there to back her up. That was truly special to her.
That wasn’t to say that they didn’t bump heads with each other every now and then. That was life in a nutshell. It was impossible to get along all the time. 6 different people and 1 robot...all with completely different personalities. It was inevitable for there to be tension and disagreements at times.
The person who had grinded the Captain’s gears today was none other than the esteemed priest himself. She respected Max a lot. She put a lot of faith into him. He had an interesting backstory that had a couple of holes in it. She knew he had been to prison, spent a huge portion of his life searching for...well, that as the part she never quite understood. He was a trained hacker and served as an important asset to her team. That was why she had no issue with deciding to help him with a favor. She traveled with Max to Fallbrook to find an old scholar friend of his. Although, once she arrived and located him, she discovered that “friend” was not at all the case.
She was able to detect during the conversation that Max had lied to her in order to be sure she’d accept the task of his favor. She did not take kindly to lying, especially when Max knew what the bigger objective at hand was. It was her decision to make whether Max’s request was worth taking the time to do. The fact that he had fibbed in order to manipulate her decision did not make her happy. It infuriated her beyond description.
She scolded Max and expressed her anger for what he had done. He seemed genuinely sorry, acknowledging that he let his own personal feelings get in the way of what was important. She chewed him out royally and even made him cower a little bit. Thankfully, the Captain had brought Parvati along and she was able to fizzle things out before the Captain did something she’d soon regret. She seriously considered firing him on the spot and leaving him behind in Fallbrook. In the end, she decided that wouldn’t be right. She couldn’t leave anybody behind.
Still, she made sure that he knew if he ever pulled anything like that again then he’d be gone. The trek back to The Unreliable was quiet. Not even Parvati dared to say anything to try and ease the mood. Usually, Captain tended to avoid being spotted by raptidons and go around them. However, she had some serious negative energy to burn off and she made it a point to shoot at every single one they passed.
Eventually, Captain entered the ship, closing the door behind her selected crew. ADA greeted them per usual, her voice echoing through the ship. Parvati was quick to climb the stairs to the upper level because she could barely handle the tension anymore. Max knew that the Captain had nothing more to say to him and that she likely didn’t want to see him for the rest of the night. So, he returned to his bunk and called it a day.
She usually would huddle with her crew to wind the evening down and discuss the game plan for the next day, but truthfully she just wanted to be alone for a little bit.
The rest of the crew was upstairs sitting around the kitchen area. They found it odd that Max didn’t stick around to chat, but it all made sense when Parvati explained in a hushed voice.
“I would leave Captain alone until tomorrow if I were y’all,” She advised; “She’s madder than a stuck primal.”
This surely got everybody’s attention, especially Felix’s. He always worried about Captain. Even more so now that they were an item. He knew she could handle herself and anything thrown her way, but he still didn’t like it when she was upset about something. Nyoka, who was standing at the counter, chimed in soon after;
“Why’s that, P? What happened?” She asked for Parvati to elaborate.
Parvati looked to make sure Max wasn’t in the room before continuing;
“Mr. Vicar lied to her and she found out. She hollered at him and I was sure she was going to let him go. She went straight to her quarters when we got back just now.” She said, taking a seat next to Felix.
Ellie let out a low whistle. She was standing at the head of the table, arms crossed and brows raised;
“She always checks in before turning in for the night. That must’ve been some lie to make Captain that upset.” She stated.
Felix was fiddling with the tossball that he always kept in his pocket. The wheels in his head were turning. He knew how Captain felt about traitors, liars, people who abuse their power. She wasn’t a fan when someone told a lie for personal gain, but even Felix knew it was peculiar for her to be this frustrated over it.
“I’ll say. That’s not normal at all.” Felix claimed.
Knowing that there wouldn’t be a team meeting, the rest of the crew scattered into their own rooms just to start the day over tomorrow. Felix, on the other hand, decided to pay her a visit once he knew she had some time to mellow out. He crept quietly downstairs, careful not to wake anybody up who might have been asleep. He could be a bit heavy footed and he had his fair share of being yelled at for activating SAM in the middle of the night. To avoid this, he was sure to remove his shoes to soften his footfalls.
He came to the Captain’s doorway, peeking his head in to see her standing at the long tabletop, leaning against it. He watched intently as her eyes gazed over the planet in front of her, deep in thought. She eventually noticed his stare which prompted him to offer a bright grin.
“Hey, Felix,” She said in a rather monotone voice; “I’m guessing you’re here to check on me.”
He shrugged. She was half-right. He did indeed want to check on her, but he also just wanted to see how her day went. Although, based on what Parvati had said, he was sure it didn’t go so well. He took that as an invitation to enter and approach her. He stood next to her, his hand finding the small of her back;
“I just wanted to see my favorite gal,” He said cheekily; “And to check on you.”
She knew once Felix figured out that something had gone awry that he’d come bopping in to see what was up. Truth was, she was relieved to see him and to have someone who was always willing to listen.
“You know the situation I’m in,” She began; “The situation I’ve dragged all of you into.”
“I think it’s fair to say we brought ourselves into it. You didn’t exactly ask me to be a part of this crew...I asked you for a job.” Felix corrected.
“But I didn’t tell you my mission until after I hired you,” She retorted, moving across from him to sit on the bed; “I’ve been tasked by some crazed scientist for all I know to save the colony. I wasn’t given a lot of instruction other than to take this ship and keep in touch with Phineas. I don’t even know what the endgame is gonna be.”
Felix was listening closely. He turned from the window to face her, leaning back against the table. It was all starting to make sense now. It was simple. She was stressed and the pressure was beginning to get to her. He let her go on;
“I’m the one who’s got to save Halcyon. To be successful, I need our crew to be honest with me and all on the same page. I need to be able to put my trust in this team,” She said; “That’s why I got so upset with Max today. He lied to me to ensure that I would do something that he wanted. It didn’t affect anything too bad, but that was a serious blow to my trust in him.”
Felix understood where she was coming from. He believed that honesty was extremely important, especially with the way things were now. He saw both sides of the coin. He saw her position as a captain with a life changing goal ahead, but he also understood how much finding Reginald meant to Max.
“Max didn’t mean any harm. He understands that he should’ve handled it differently,” He suggested; “The mission wasn’t affected any. We’ve still got time.”
Felix had a point, but she was still irritated. As the captain, she was the one who had to decide what was worth their time. She got to decide what they had time for. She never minded doing something for someone in your beloved crew, but she still had a big mission hanging over her head.
“I know that, Felix, but what’s going to happen when I set us out on a mission that does affect what I’m trying to do here?” She said with your voice having a slight edge to it; “Then the colony’s fate is destroyed just because I thought it was a good idea to let the vicar have a fucking book translated.”
He would admit, he would never want to be in her shoes. That was one hell of a weight to carry alone. He was just fine being a crew-hand. However, she was perfectly able. She had what it took to save Halcyon. She had a badass squad, a family, by her side to help the cause.
“What’s this ‘I’ nonsense I keep hearing? This isn’t your burden anymore. This became a group matter the second you hired the first person of this crew,” He said with a sense of urgency. He couldn’t let her go on any longer thinking this was all on her; “This is our mission. You just happen to be the captain of it.”
Her heart was warmed by his words. That was unbelievably comforting. She needed their help, each and every one. She couldn’t do this alone. She knew this. Phineas knew that when he brought her from her 70 year hibernation that she’d be able to find companions to assist you along the way if she wanted it.
“You're saying if I go down with this mission, then you’re going down too?” She asked semi-joking.
He smirked, raising and settling his brows quickly;
“Damn right we will. It’s all or nothing, boss. We’re in this together.” He said moving to join her on the small bed.
“Thanks, Felix. I needed that.” She admitted; “And I thought I told you that you don’t have to call me boss?”
Felix smiled proudly. He knew he could lift her spirits. She was sounding like herself again. He leaned back onto her pillow and stretched out. Looked like he’d be staying the night here. Not that she minded.
“I like calling you boss. Even if you weren’t my captain, you’d still be the boss of this relationship.” He laughed heartily.
She playfully smacked his leg, a little offended at his statement.
“You calling me bossy?” She asked with a giggle.
“Yeah, I am actually,” He confessed; “But I wouldn’t want you any other way.”
She blushed. What a guy. She was thankful that she ran into him that fateful day on Groundbreaker. There’s no way this mission would still be afloat without him and the team she’d built. They’d be by her side no matter what.
For that, she was forever thankful.

Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy (Felix Millstone x Reader)
Fandom: The Outer Worlds
Summary: You just want to deal with the problems on Monarch so you can move on to the next task Phineas has for you. Let's just say your crush, Felix Millstone, flirting with the local bartender from Stellar Bay is not helping you feel any less cranky about the situation you're in. Don't worry though. Nyoka has an idea on how you can catch his attention.
AO3 Link
You tried to ignore the growing cluster of emotions that made you feel sick to your stomach, you really did. It was even more difficult to ignore the root cause behind it. Still you did your best to keep your mouth shut as Felix shamelessly flirted with the bartender who was way too into Tossball. You think she said her name was something like Ness… Wait no it might have been Nell? Not that it really mattered to you anyway. You were just going out of your way to solve a murder and maybe get a few bits out of it. You were not here, however, for your companion to waste time flirting with some random girl who happened to share similar interests with him.
It was ridiculous how fast Felix seemed to become enthralled by her when he found out how big a fan she was. As if there weren’t any other female fans of Tossball. It wasn’t your fault that you’ve been frozen for decades and weren’t caught up on all the sports teams out in the galaxy right now. You had things to do and there was no time to waste on something so irrelevant. There were people to help and bits to earn. This had nothing to do with the growing envy you felt with each passing moment the two spent time talking it up with each other. Nope that wasn’t jealousy you were feeling at all.
Really how oblivious could she be too? Even you had noticed by now how often his gaze slipped down to her lips. Was she really that oblivious to his attraction or was she just messing with his feelings?
“Well since the two of you are so busy I’m gonna deal with this Elijah bastard myself,” you finally interrupted. Without bothering to see if Felix was following or not, you exited the bar.
“Wait up boss!”
You could hear Felix telling Nell he’d stop by another time before hearing him call out your name. You didn’t bother to stop and wait up for him. Maybe it was petty and dumb to let something like this get to you but you couldn’t really bring yourself to care right now.
“I said wait,” Felix said, grabbing you by the arm and bringing you to a halt. More than a little annoyed, you yanked your arm out of his grasp. “Jeez what’s your problem?”
“Well shit Felix I don’t know. We saw a dead body not even ten minutes ago and instead of helping me take care of the problem you’re flirting with some stranger. Somebody is dead and we need to do something about it,” you said. It wasn’t entirely false, but it was a bit misleading about what was really bothering you at the moment. You hoped Felix wouldn’t catch on.
“She’s not just a stranger, and besides, she seems pretty cool. Nell’s the one helping us out in the first place. If it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t even know who to go after,” Felix defended.
You really really hated that he had a good point.
“You’re right. I’m sorry. Can we just deal with this guy and move on?” you sighed.
“Damn right I’m right. Now let’s go kick some ass,” Felix said.
---
It’s a minor annoyance how Sanjar complained about you dealing with the murdering fiends in his district. It wasn’t your fault that Eijah and his lackeys attacked and refused to back down. As if he would have confessed to the person in charge that he killed someone over a money issue. At least Sanjar handed over some bits for the trouble you went through to deal with the murder in the first place.
The whole ordeal left you cranky and more tired than you would like. So you were highly relieved when you got to return to your ship.
---
A couple of days had passed when Nyoka confronted you.
“You are way too obvious.”
“Huh?” you looked up from the terminal in your quarters and caught her eye. The hunter closed your bedroom door behind her before inviting herself in and sitting back on your bed. “I’m sorry Nyoka but I’m not sure what you mean by that.”
She gave you a disbelieving look.
“I heard from Felix about the girl he met on Stellar Bay,” She said.
“Yeah, she seemed really nice,” you said, voice tense and no doubt giving away how you really felt about the situation.
“And you’re not going to do anything about it despite how you feel about him?”
“I don’t know what you mean…”
The look she gave you was not one of amusement.
“Okay. I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m a mess Nyoka. I know I have no right to be jealous. I mean we’re not even a couple and he doesn’t even know I like him. It’s not fair for me to be upset over something like this. It’s so dumb, and I don’t know what to do,” you broke down, breath coming out fast as you rambled on.
“Woah, woah hold on there and get a grip,” she said in an attempt to get you to calm down. “I know what will help. Let’s get some drinks in you and talk it out.”
“Nyoka, please,” you said.
“What? I promise I’m not suggesting it to only get drunk. I have a plan I promise,” she winks.
“What kind of plan are you talking about?”
“I mean you could always make him jealous too. The bar’s the perfect place for you to find someone and get laid,” Nyoka explained.
“You can’t be serious,” you said in disbelief.
“Well are you gonna confess to Felix or not?
“.....”
“Yeah that’s what I thought,” she said. “Look, captain, I know you like him and all, but he’s not exactly the brightest. There’s plenty of fish in the sea and if you don’t plan to reel this one in then you might as well start looking elsewhere.”
You hated that she was right, but you still couldn’t help but feel minor guilt. It was ridiculous to feel even when you weren’t dating him but somehow it still felt akin to cheating.
The memory of Felix flirting with Nella hardened your resolve.
“Fine we can go out, but that doesn’t mean I have to hook up with anyone right now,” you said.
“Great! So you’re paying for drinks tonight right?”

Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy (4)
Fandom: The Outer Worlds
Pairing: Felix Millstone x Reader
AO3 Link
Summary: After a few miscommunications, both you and Felix come to realize what you've been missing.
“Can I ask you something, Captain?”
“Of course you can Parvati. What’s up?”
The young engineer nibbled on her bottom lip nervously as she debated whether or not she should confess what she learned last night.
“Well, uh, I was wondering how your date went and all. You seemed awfully nervous when you left and I didn’t get the chance to ask about it when you came home last night,” she said.
“It wasn’t bad, but it’s been a long while since the last time I’ve been on a date. Grimm was pretty sweet. He offered to walk me back,” you said.
“And? Did anything else happen? It sounds like you really like this boy.”
“Well he did ask to kiss me, and I did let him, but it felt a little weird y’know? He said he’d like to do go out again sometime, but I told him I didn’t think it was a good idea. I feel bad for making up excuses to say no, but I think it would have been worse if I told him I wasn’t actually that interested. Sure he’s cute and all, but he’s not….” you trailed off, not sure how to put your thoughts into words.
“He’s not Felix?” Parvati offered.
“The thing is, he was almost too much like Felix. He talked about Tossball for almost the entire date, explaining everything about it from the rules to his favorite teams. The way Grimm acted was just too similar and every time Felix would slip back into my mind. I felt so guilty that I was thinking about someone else the entire time we were on a date. It wasn’t right and I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to try and move on this way,” you explained sheepishly.
“That’s great!” Parvati mentally cheered. There was still hope that things could work out between you and Felix. “I mean- I am so sorry things didn’t work out.”
“It is what it is. Maybe it’s just a sign that I should give up on romance,” you joked. Perhaps it would be best if you actually did give up on the idea of it. It would certainly make things easier with less distractions and emotions getting in the way of what you needed to get done. After it was all over and things eventually settled down then maybe you would take a chance again.
“No!”
You startled at her response, giving her a questioning look. It wasn’t like her to act so strange and she did seem weirdly nervous.
“Please be honest, Captain. Do you still have feelings for Felix?” she asked bluntly.
“Huh? Well I uh- um, yes I still do,” you said in a hushed voice, hoping Nyoka wouldn’t overhear. You might have told a little white lie that your date went great so that she would get off your back. Not that you had meant anything bad by it.
“Pardon my bluntness, but I think you ought to tell him how you feel.”
“I don’t think that’s such a great idea. I already know he has a crush on Nell. You should have seen the way he looked at her. Besides, I don’t want to make things confusing for him. I know he looks up to me and I don’t want him to feel like he has to date me because it’s what I want. I’m worried that’s something he might do. That would be even worse than being rejected,” you explained. It honestly was so much worse to think about. Picturing Felix kissing Nell may have hurt but you didn’t even want to imagine him agreeing to date you out of fear that you might kick him out or that he might lose your respect or praise otherwise. He was a follower as much as you hated to admit it. If you were going to date him you wanted to know it was his choice.
“You don’t need to be worrying about Nell. You’ll have to trust me on this one, Captain,” Parvati said, not wanting to entirely spill Felix’s secrets.
That wasn’t the most encouraging thing to hear, but you really did trust Parvati. She was the first to join your crew after all. She’d been there by your side ever since you landed on Terra 2 and wandered into Edgewater looking for a power regulator. There was no one you trusted more on this wild journey you’ve begun.
“Okay, okay you’re probably right,” you sighed. “I’ll probably never get over him otherwise.”
She gave you a thumbs up as she reassured you that everything would work out okay. It didn’t do much to convince you or lessen your worries.
---
Normally you didn’t mind the openness of the ship. All your crewmates were close by within shouting distance. It made it seem like you were all one big family sharing a space. It also made you very aware of the others eyes on you as you made your way to Felix’s room. After learning that maybe your feelings weren’t as hidden as you thought, you felt a lot more insecure about how this looked.
“Hey Felix, do you mind if I talk with you privately?” you asked, hands already growing sweaty.
“Sure Boss, what’s up?” Felix asked.
Fully aware of the curious crew members, who apparently couldn’t mind their own business, you shut the door behind you. Unfortunately, you made the mistake of looking him in the eye. Just as quickly you turned your gaze down to the floor, already feeling your face heat up from embarrassment.
Oh boy this was going to be harder than you thought.
“Boss?” Felix seemed concerned.
“I’m sorry, it’s a little hard for me to say this,” you said. Honestly you wanted to run right back out the door. It was almost ridiculous how much you would prefer to be fighting a Mantisqueen at the moment instead of telling the guy you cared about the most that you were in love with him. The latter seemed far scarier at the moment and had your heart beating fast.
“Oh no, you’re not firing me are you?” he asked, sounding panicked. “Did Parvati tell you what I said last night?!” He couldn’t believe that one of his closest friends had betrayed him like that. It must have been an accident, right?
You blinked in surprise, taken aback by his words. What had the two of them talked about that would make you fire him? Why hadn’t Parvati mentioned anything about it when she spoke to you earlier?
“Please don’t get rid of me. This is the only home I have now,” he was practically begging now.
“Woah calm down there,” you said, placing your hands on his shoulders. “I’m not going to fire you- wait this isn’t even a job technically. You’re part of this crew. I’m not going to be kicking you out unless you do something really bad like kill one of the other crew mates.”
“So you’re not upset with me then?” he asked, looking slightly less concerned.
“Why would I be?” at this point you didn’t know who was more confused.
“I know you just went on a date with someone else. I don’t mean to pressure you or anything. It kinda feels like a dick move. Damn, I can’t believe Parvati told you,” Felix said, feeling unsure.
“Felix, I’m sorry but I genuinely don’t know what you’re talking about. Parvati didn’t tell me anything,” you confessed, wondering what the hell was going on. As much as you would like to know what he was talking about, you didn’t want to misguide him like that. Although you were starting to put together what was going on. It made sense with how Parvati suggested that you confess. There were some implications behind what Felix had just said too. Even then you didn’t want to bring your hopes up only to be wrong.
“Oh, then nothing boss- I was doing nothing. Everything is all fine here,” he quickly changed the subject.
Fuck it.
Feeling more confident than before, you leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. Okay so maybe you weren’t feeling as brave as you hoped.
“Boss?” he stared at your flushed face when you pulled away, but you couldn’t seem to meet his eyes. “But I thought you said Parvati didn’t tell you anything. Does this mean you feel the same way about me?”
“Wait a minute. Just hold on a second. Are you saying you have feelings for me? Like romantic feelings for me?” you asked, voice cracking.
“Do you feel that way about me?” he asked in return, his heart racing as he waited for an answer he never expected to get.
“Yeah. I like you a lot Felix,” you said shyly. He was quiet for a moment.
“Then why did you go on that date with that one moron?”
Shit. You forgot about that.
You breathed deeply. “Okay if I tell you please promise not to laugh,” you muttered.
“I swear it on my life. I would never. You can trust me,” Felix said, perking up at your answer.
“I’ve liked you for a while now. A long while,” you admitted shyly. “Nyoka knew about it and I guess pretty much everyone else on the ship knew too.”
Felix’s heart raced at the small confession. He had been by your side for at least months now. Part of him wondered if you had been watching him the way he watched you while traveling the galaxy together. Had he just never noticed? You were so damn beautiful he couldn’t even begin to imagine how someone like you could have fallen for him and even kept those feelings over a period of time. That in itself was a miracle considering you’d seen him do some pretty stupid things. Of course you’ve seen him do a lot of awesome things too, but how the hell did you still like him after all the embarrassing things he’s done right in front of you?
“Why didn’t you say anything?” he couldn’t imagine that the captain was being shy. They had done so much in such a short amount of time. They lived the way he had been dreaming of when he was still on Halcyon. They were strong and fierce when the situation called for it. They were mature and more than ready to take on the galaxy.
“I thought you weren’t interested in me like that. It definitely seemed that way when I saw the way you were with Nell. I figured you liked her and that I should probably start getting over the way I felt. Nyoka was the one who suggested I try dating someone else. That’s why she asked Grimm to go out on a date with me. I promise I’m not into him,” you said.
“It’s funny actually. I had to turn him down at the end because I kept thinking about you. I felt so bad about it you have no idea,” you laughed in an attempt to brush off the sinking panic. Maybe you shouldn’t have added the last part. You had meant to reassure him that he was the one you were interested in, but after saying it out loud it felt awkward.
It was overwhelming. Felix really didn’t know what to say. There was too much to confront. Like the fact that apparently you had a crush on him at the same time he was head over heels in love with you and neither of you noticed. That wasn’t necessary to point out since you both were in awe at the lack of awareness. He couldn’t believe you went through so much trouble just because you were jealous of how he talked with Nell. Honestly it was really flattering. He may have been envious of Grimm before, but now he couldn’t wait to flaunt you around in front of the bastard.
Actually he was kind of pissed off.
So much time wasted when he could have been with you for months instead of pining from afar and fantasizing. There had been a lot of fantasizing in those months, many of them involving him saving you from disaster and you reward him generously for it. Now that he knew you returned his feelings there was no reason to waste anymore time.
It was such a rush when he pulled you close and practically slammed his lips against yours. It felt as if he had been waiting for this moment long before he even met you. Felix swore he could feel sparks. It was nothing like the sweet, teasing, little peck on the cheek you gave him earlier.
You were unsuspecting, unprepared for the sudden attack. The shock slipped away just as quickly, replaced with eagerness as you returned the kiss and wrapped your arms around his neck.
Feeling a rush of excitement, he settled his hands beneath your ass before heaving you up in his arms and pressing your back into the door. Instinctively you wrapped your legs around his waist as you let out a small yelp. Felix had never been so grateful for his previous job and the strength he gained from lugging all those heavy boxes around. He was so pleased with himself for pulling off such a good move just like he’d seen when things began to get steamy in the serials he watched. Mentally he gave himself a high five.
“Felix is everything alright in there? I heard a thud,”
You could hear Parvati’s voice clearly from the other side of the door. In an instant there was a blush blooming on your cheeks.
“Y-yeah everything’s fine!” he called back. “Don’t worry about it!”
Both of you waited for a moment, listening until her footsteps faded.
“Maybe we should continue this another time,” you suggested.
“Fuck yes,” he said enthusiastically before carefully setting you down.
Next time you’d make sure to do it in your quarters when the rest of the crew members were off the ship.

Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy (5)

Summary: You and Felix finally get to act out what you've both been waiting for.
NSFW
If the tension between you and Felix wasn’t obvious before, it certainly was now. It was practically tangible, electrifying the room. Which made it that much easier to get the rest of your crewmates out of the Unreliable when you stopped at Groundbreaker for a well deserved break.
You didn’t waste any time at all getting Felix into your room.
The confidence and excitement that had taken over earlier faded as soon as it really hit you that you were alone with Felix and this time no one would interrupt. Sure you had other experiences within the week, exploring the new relationship and enjoying the way his lips felt on yours when you had short moments of privacy.
“Are you sure you still want to do this with me?” you asked nervously.
“I’m pretty sure I should be the one asking you that,” Felix said.
“I want you, Felix.”
He inhaled sharply, the words alone making him grow stiff in his pants.
You looked so serious and the way you spoke left no room for questioning. It was clear you knew what you wanted. He just still couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that you wanted him of all people. He was sure you could have anyone else you wanted. After all he could easily picture you as the type who could easily seduce anyone into your bed. With that golden tongue of yours that you utilized often during missions. It was the hottest thing when your personality switched to serious and confident as if you didn’t give a fuck about what anyone else said or did, with the exception of your crew.
It made his heart flutter knowing that he mattered to you, that you genuinely cared about what he thought and wanted his input.
“Good because I want you too,” he said, mind racing with all the possibilities he could act out right now. What would be the best in this situation? After all it would be your first time together and oh boy did he have plans to make it memorable for the both of you.
He had imagined quite a few positions he’d love to take you in. His absolute favorite were the fantasies when you rode him. When you began to slow down he’d come back with a surprise, gripping your hips and thrusting up into you brutally. There were several expressions he imagined you’d make when you came around his cock. With your nose scrunched up cutely and mouth parted as you reached your orgasm. The ones that made him finish the quickest were when he pictured you staring down at him with pure desire and love.
It was probably best that you took the lead in the end, gently pressing your lips against his. It was soft, as if you were still questioning whether or not he wanted to take things further. Felix was quick to reassure you.
His hands instinctively fell to your waist as he eagerly returned the kiss. With his body pressing against yours, you could easily feel how excited he was. Your mouth watered at the thought of feeling his cock pressing inside you instead.
“Please,” your words were muffled between kisses as you tugged on his clothes. “Take this off.”
“Wow you really do want me badly, huh?” Felix teased as he began pulling off his clothes. “Well I can’t say no to you, Boss.”
“You can call me by my actual name. I think we’re well past using titles,” you said, watching as he stripped down to his underwear.
“How about next time you call me boss instead. That’d be pretty hot don’t ya think?” Felix suggested, growing interested in the idea. He’d definitely like to try that out in the near future as long as you were okay with it too.
“You’re really thinking ahead aren’t you,” you smiled at the idea of there being more than just one time. That there would be more to come.
“Is that alright? I’d like to do this more than once,” Felix said admittedly.
“Yes, please. We better get a head start now then,” you suggested before beginning to remove your own clothes. Felix was more than happy to assist, helping you pull your top over your head.
“Fuck,” Felix openly stared at your body as you stripped down to your underwear. “Can I touch you?”
You nodded, moving to pull him in for another kiss. That was all the confirmation he needed to start letting his hands wander up and down your body. They lingered especially on your chest, giving you a squeeze which drew a soft moan from you.
“Fuck,” he groaned against your mouth when his hands slid around to grab your ass. “You’re fucking perfect,” he said before pressing a kiss against your neck. The sweet noise you made in response had him grinding against you, the palms of his hands pressing against your ass to push you up against him. It was overwhelming just thinking about the fact that there was barely anything left between your bodies.
He was practically a mess by the time you slowly managed to pull him towards your bed. However, he was clear-headed enough to voice his protests when you gently pushed him down onto the bed and climbed on top so you straddled him. Well he would have protested if you hadn’t effectively shut him up with another long kiss. More than anything he wanted to take his time, lavishing your entire body with kisses. Fuck he wanted to spend hours just between your legs, tasting and teasing you with his mouth.
He decided, when you began stroking him through his underwear, that maybe he could wait a little bit before doing that. Instead he return the sentiment, slipping his hand between your thighs.
It was a little difficult from the angle he was at, especially with your own hand in the way, but somehow he managed to slide his fingers past your underwear. For a moment he pulled back from kissing you, determined to watch your face as he traced a finger along your slit before dipping between your folds.
“Felix!” you gasped, freezing at the sudden intrusion.
“Yeah? You like that?” he asked, feeling rather smug at your reaction as he stroked your inner labia. “Fuck you’re really wet.”
You gave his dick a squeeze in response, rubbing him harder.
“Tell me if you need to stop and I will,” Felix promised, hesitating a moment to allow you the chance to reject him before prodding around for your entrance and pushing a single finger inside. It was a struggle to really push in far with the way your underwear managed to get in the way. He did his best, curling his middle finger up into you the best he could.
For a moment he was worried that it had been too much when you stopped to get off him. His concern was quickly put at ease when you pulled your underwear down your thighs. To his absolute delight, he noticed the large wet spot that had formed on your underwear due to the arousal dripping between your legs. Without his consent his dick twitched at the sight, most likely staining the inside of his own underwear with the precum that leaked from his tip. As much as he wanted to tear off the remaining clothes that kept him restrained, he decided it would probably be best to wait just a little while longer. In reality he waited too long to get them off, instead taking the time to stare at your bare body until you finally got back on top of him, hips hovering directly over his own arousal that pressed tightly against the fabric of his boxers. Felix didn’t hesitate to plunge his middle finger back up into your cunt.
Instantaneously you were rewarded for your efforts as he pushed his finger in down to the knuckle. You let out a low moan when he pulled it out only to press back inside and curl it. It went on like that for a while, the two of you pleasuring each other with nothing but your hands. It took only a few suggestions from you for Felix to improve his technique and really have an effect on you.
In the end you couldn’t be sure who became more impatient to move on.
Perhaps it was you, desperate for more when you pulled down his boxers to fully access his dick. You didn’t get a chance to really take the sight of him in, instead eyes closed as you focused on the way he felt and the way his mouth moved against yours.
It easily could have been Felix as well with how eagerly he kissed and fingered you. Before you knew it he was adding a second finger. There was barely any pain from the small stretch and soon he was thrusting them inside just as quickly as before. Each curl of his fingers brought you closer and closer to the edge.
“Felix,” you tried to warn, breaking away from his lips. You were barely able to get the words out before the coil tightening in your stomach burst and you came with a moan.
“Holy shit did you just cum?” Felix asked, equally delighted and surprised.
“Yes, so now I’m pretty sure it’s your turn,” you answered while attempting to catch your breath.
Felix was fast to take advantage of your vulnerable state, flipping you over so that you were the one now pinned beneath him.
“Oh, no, I’m not done with you yet,” he said. Fuck he hoped that had the intended effect on you.
It was hard not to smile at the way he said it, as if mimicking something he heard from some kind of cheesy porno. The amusement left your face when he took a moment to remove his boxers completely.
This time you really took the time to admire his body. He had already been decently toned from his previous job. He’d certainly gained more muscle mass after joining the crew. It made sense considering one of the main weapons you gave him was a grenade launcher. He really must have gained muscle hauling that around while running from pissed off mantisaurs.
“Please come fuck me now,” you blurted out before covering your mouth. At least it earned a pleased grin from Felix.
“Anything for you,” he said before returning to his place above you. “You good to go, boss?” he asked once he used a hand to position himself at your entrance. It was difficult to get out an answer when he began rubbing the head of his dick against your slit.
“Yes, yes, please-!” you cut yourself off, moaning as he slowly pushed inside. Without meaning to, you held your breath while digging your nails into the sheets on the bed. Even with the preparation, he was still a bit of a stretch. If it hadn’t warmed you up earlier it might have been more painful.
Felix could hardly hold back. You felt so tight and wet and so so so fucking perfect around him that he couldn’t help himself from bottoming out almost immediately, pushing inside faster than he probably should have. However you made no noise to protest, to tell him to stop and that you never wanted to see him again. That was a good sign.
He did feel bad when he noticed the way you seemed to be holding your breath and trying to concentrate on anything but the pain. Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to your lips in an attempt to distract you. It seemed to work well enough, as your body slowly began to relax as you kissed him back. It wasn’t long before you were urging him on with a roll of your hips up against him. That had him biting down on his lip to keep from crying out at the sudden movement.
He began slowly, desperate to last long enough to make you cum a second time before he finished.
However, that did not last very long. Not with the way you clenched around his dick.
“Fuck you feel so good,” he groaned as he found a good rythm. He wrapped his arms around you tightly in an attempt to ground himself as he bucked into you.
It was getting a lot easier to handle with each stroke. It made it even easier to ignore the stretch when you pulled him into another kiss. It felt like heaven, being even more connected when your tongue brushed against his. Soon enough he was pulling back to press open mouthed kisses along your neck.
You did your best to move your hips up to meet him, biting down on your lip to keep from making any noise. One particularly hard thrust made you gasp.
“Felix!” you moaned out his name.
Just hearing the way you said it had a strong effect on him than he would have liked. Already he could feel himself reaching his limit.
“Fuck- please,” he moaned before slipping his hand between your bodies. Desperate to make you cum one more time before he finished, he rubbed at your clit. Mentally he begged for you to finish too. More than anything he wanted you to come around his cock.
“Please,” his voice hitched when he said your name. “Please, please cum.”
It really helped bring you close, the way he furiously rubbed at your clit. Hearing him say your name was enough to push you over the edge. Felix could have cried with pure joy when he felt you squeezing impossibly hard around his cock. He was able to thrust inside two more times before spilling out deep inside.
Felix was panting heavily when he finally pulled out and rolled onto his side next to you on the bed. He couldn’t even try to force the smile off his face as he admired you.
“You’re so fucking perfect. I can’t believe how lucky I am,” he said, leaning in for another kiss which you eagerly returned.
“Well the feeling’s mutual. I absolutely adore you,” you smiled back at him.
You couldn’t wait to tell Nyoka the good news.

Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy (3)
Fandom: The Outer Worlds
Pairing: Felix Millstone x Reader
AO3 Link
Chapter Summary: To Felix's disbelief, you go through with your little 'date'.
“Wait, so you’re telling me that the captain is out on a date?” Parvati asked, glancing in Felix’s direction. There was a look of surprise on her face, as if she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“You heard me. That’s why they left a little earlier,” Nyoka said.
“That does explain why they were so nervous lookin’. Oh I hope they’re alright,” Parvati said, brows scrunching in concern.
“I can’t believe they’re actually going through with it. I thought it was a joke,” Felix joined in the conversation. Both of the women glanced at each other, sharing a knowing look before returning their attention to their fellow companion. His tone of voice did nothing to hide his displeasure.
“I thought they’d be going out with you. I didn’t know they were on a date with a stranger instead,” Parvati said.
“Huh?”
“Oh! Nothing- I just thought…. Oh well it’s nothing. Just forget I said anything,” Parvati said, shooting up from her chair. “Would you look at that, I just remembered I needed to be fixing up something on the ship,” she said, exiting the dining room before Felix could question her further. He only leaned back in his chair, feeling even more confused than before.
“I don’t know why you’re so upset. He’s kind of cute. Besides, the captain really needed to get laid. I’m sure they could use a good fuck after all the shit they’ve been dealing with lately. I mean it’s been like, what? Over seventy years since they’ve been at it with someone, technically, if they have at all. I know for a fact they haven’t had the chance to fuck around with how busy they are,” Nyoka said with a shrug. “I’m happy for the captain. They deserve a break.”
Felix was momentarily taken aback by her words.
“You don’t think they’ll actually do anything, do you?” he asked, sounding uncharacteristically quiet.
Nyoka snorted, taking another swig from her drink. “I sure hope they do.”
Felix slammed his hands on the table, shooting up in a panic and nearly making Nyoka spill her drink on the table.
“But what if he’s actually a bad guy, pretending to need help to make the boss trust him? I bet he was hoping they’d agree to go out on a date with him so he could get closer and attack them without us to back them up. It’s all going according to his plan,” Felix spoke more to himself than his companion. “Shit, Nyoka, we need to find them now before it’s too late!”
“Are you serious right now? You gotta calm down. Don’t forget, I’m the one who suggested they go on a date in the first place,” she reminded him.
“Maybe…. Or maybe that’s just what he wants us to think! It’s all part of his evil plan and he was just manipulating you. We better head out before anything happens-”
“Look- Felix,” she interrupted as he stood up, more than ready to run to your rescue. “Are you really worried about them or are you just making excuses because you might actually be jealous and want to ruin their date?”
“Jealous?” He scoffed. “Why would I be jealous? I’m just looking out for the boss.”
She couldn’t be sure. There was no real way to know with Felix. Nyoka wasn’t sure if he’s jealous and doesn’t realize it or he’s really being this dumb right now. She desperately hoped it was the former option.
“Well, even if you were right, we don’t need to worry about them. You and I both know the captain can take care of themselves without a problem,” that was all she could think of to say. She hoped that was enough to convince him to stay out of their captain’s business because she doubted there was anything else she could come up with right now to deter him. Currently she wasn’t in the mood to be chasing after Felix to stop him from ruining your date. She’d need to be a lot drunker to deal with that.
She doesn’t get to see what happened next, instead choosing to head back to her room to get another drink from her stash.
---
Well if Nyoka wasn’t going to help him save the boss, then he’d do it himself. That’s what Felix decided as he exited the ship. He couldn’t even begin to understand how she couldn’t even be bothered to worry about you. Felix didn’t trust that Grimm guy, and there was no way in hell he was going to let the bastard hurt you! Not on Felix Millstone’s watch. Well, and Parvati’s watch too. At least she seemed to care about your wellbeing. She had even insisted that she come too, but Felix wasn’t complaining. It never hurt to have back up in cases like these, or have someone to watch him beat up the bad guy.
Honestly he really tried to wait it out. He barely lasted half an hour before he couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted to have faith in your abilities, he did believe in you, of course! However, the sight of your tear stained cheeks kept showing up in his mind, reminding him that you were more vulnerable than he thought. That reminder is what eventually made him cave in and follow his instincts.
“Felix, do you even know where they went for their date?” Parvati asked, following behind.
No, no he did not.
“Well… Not exactly? I mean, they talked about going to a bar. There’s like two bars here so it shouldn’t be too hard to find them,” Felix admitted.
“Are you really sure we should be doing this? Don’t you think our captain might be upset with us for spying on their date?” Parvati asked, sounding slightly anxious. Although she didn’t entirely want to get involved with the situation, she didn’t want to think about how your date might escalate if Felix got involved. If you really were getting over your feelings for your crew member then she didn’t think it was best for Felix to interrupt. Of course he had only the best intentions for you. He looked up to you more than anyone and he always followed you around like a lost puppy. Personally Parvati found it adorable, but it did make her wonder why you were the one who seemed to be head over heels for him instead.
“We’re not actually spying on the boss. We’re just making sure nothing goes wrong. You never know what might happen. What if some marauders sneak in and decide to go berserk? Whatever happens, we’ll be ready for it.”
That only made her grow more suspicious. She hadn’t meant to do it on purpose, overhearing Nyoka and Felix’s conversation after she left. Okay so maybe she was trying to look out for her friends, but she didn’t mean anything bad by it, honest! It seemed odd for him to come up with a different reason to protect you, especially when he had been so persistent that Grimm was such a bad guy.
It didn’t change that there was no turning back now. Felix was too riled up that Parvati was convinced there was nothing she could say that would make him back down from this frightening plan. She’d do her best to keep things from going in a bad direction.
With how bright the streetlights were, it would be a little difficult to blend in with the shadows. Felix mentally cursed at himself for not thinking of bringing disguises. Stupid! It was too late to head back to the ship now. They were close enough to the bar near the landing pad and where Grimm was stationed near. That was probably a good spot to check out.
It turned out to be a good choice, as he quickly caught sight of you through the window. His eyes narrowed when he saw Grimm.
“Look at that bastard. He even looks like he’s up to no good. What good guy wears an eyepatch?”
“Felix, I don’t think it’s really fair of you to judge someone based on how the way they look,” Parvati scolded him. She stood to the side of him, far enough away that no one would get a peek at her if anyone paid attention to the window.
“Shit, they’re getting up! We have to hide,” Felix warned, pushing Parvati so they were right around the corner of the building.
“Thanks again for tonight. I really appreciate it,” they could hear you say.
“It was the least I could do after all the trouble I put you through,” Grimm said in response. There was a moment of silence before he spoke up again. “Let me walk you back to the lift- I mean if that’s alright with you!” he laughed nervously.
“Thanks.”
Both crew members peered around the corner, just enough that they could get a peek at what was going on. Cautiously the two followed behind, staying far enough away that they wouldn’t be spotted.
“See, nothing bad happened. There was nothing to worry about,” Parvati whispered as they arrived in front of the lift that lead to the landing platform. Felix remained silent, watching the couple with suspicion.
“Why aren’t they getting on the lift? They’re just standing there, talking. Do you think he might be threatening them?” Felix asked, eyes narrowed.
“Maybe they’re just- Oh…” Parvati cut herself off when Grimm leaned in to peck you on the lips. Quickly she looked away, feeling guilty for intruding on such a private moment. It was then that she noticed how tense Felix was.
“This is wrong. We shouldn’t be watching this,” she muttered quietly, tugging on his jacket as she attempted to pull him away from the sight. The look on his face nearly broke her heart.
It looked like she and Nyoka might have been wrong after all.
Without another word Felix slipped past her, heading right into the bar he had been scoping out not even ten minutes ago. Biting her lip, Parvati looked back towards the captain only to see Grimm heading her way and the lift rising up with you on it. Trying her best not to bring attention to herself, Parvati followed Felix into the bar.
“Can I get a drink over here?”
Parvati cringed at the defeated sound of his voice as she sat beside him on a stool at the bar.
“I’m sorry Felix…”
Words weren’t coming easily. It was hard what to know what to say in these kinds of situations. She didn’t know how their captain managed to handle all kinds of situations. You’d know exactly how to cheer him up. Too bad you were the reason Felix was so heartbroken in the first place.
“What are you sorry for?”
“You really like the captain, don’t you?”
Felix didn’t answer, instead chugging the drink the bartender set in front of him.
“But we all thought you had a thing for Nell instead.”
That got a response, Felix nearly choking in the middle of his drink.
“Nell? I mean she’s pretty cool and all, but she’s nothing like our captain. It’s nice to talk about Tossball with someone else who gets it, but the boss is something else. They’re strong and kind and always doing what’s right. I don’t think I’ve ever trusted anyone else as much as I trust them. They even took me into the crew and I didn’t even have to do an interview or anything. They accepted me with no questions. There’s no one better than the boss... No offense,” he said.
“None taken. I understand Felix. The captain’s done a whole lot for me too. If it wasn’t for them I’d still be back in Edgewater and I never would have met Junlei. I owe them a great deal too,” Parvati nodded in understanding. “I didn’t know you had feelings for them. I thought it was all pure admiration like the rest of us feels for them.”
“Of course I admire them! They have all of my respect.”
“Then why didn’t you confess?” Parvati asked, wondering if the whole situation could have been avoided in the first place if one of you had been honest about your feelings. However, she couldn’t really blame either of them, not when she didn’t have the courage to confess her own feelings to Junlei without the captain’s encouragement and support.
“I don’t know if you know this about me, but sometimes I screw things up real bad. The boss has done so much for me. I don’t want to screw that up. What if they kick me out? There’s not really any place I could go. The Unreliable is my home now,” he confessed.
“Oh Felix, they would never do that to you! You’re part of the crew. We’re like a family. I doubt the captain would be forcing you out if you confessed to them. You know how understanding’ they are.”
“I guess it doesn’t really matter now anyway. I missed my chance,” Felix sighed and took another drink from his beer.
“Not necessarily…”
“Huh? What are you talking about? We just saw them kiss.”
Well she wasn’t entirely sure how to dispute that. Sure it was true, but she at least had some insight on what was really happening behind the scenes. The only problem was that it wasn’t really her place to share the captain’s feelings. That would be up to you. Felix probably wouldn’t even believe it unless it came directly from your mouth.
“It’s only a first date, and you know how nice the captain is. They probably didn’t want to let Grimm down. I can’t imagine it being so serious with how little they’ve interacted. I’m sure you mean a whole lot more to the captain than Grimm does.”
“Thanks Parvati, it almost sounds true when it’s coming from you.”
For now she would have to figure out another way to get you two to confess to each other. At least she hoped you still had feelings for Felix or this was not going to be a fun ordeal.
---
He spent longer than he probably should have at the bar. It took a lot of convincing to eventually persuade Parvati that he was alright and that he’d make it home okay. It was getting late and she looked a lot more tired than she was letting on. Felix didn’t have plans to head home anytime soon. Right now he needed some time to clear his head and figure out where to go from here.
In the end he found himself at the sports bar after finishing his fourth drink.
Nell was kind enough to spend her break listening to him talk about his problems.
“I just wish I knew what to do, y’know? Do you think they might be interested in me if I kick Grimm’s ass? I could totally do it too. He wouldn’t stand a chance against me,” he continued to ramble on.
“I think there’s something I could do to help,” Nell said, leaning in closer.
“Yeah? What’s that?” he asked, genuinely curious about her suggestion. At least he was until she pressed her lips against his.
That only confused him more.
“I don’t get it. How is that supposed to help me?” Felix asked after pulling away.
“I was thinking you could make them jealous. It would at least get their attention,” Nell explained, slightly disconcerted by his reaction or lack of one really.
“Nah, that sounds like a dumb plan. I doubt it would work. Anyways, thanks for listening, I appreciate it. Have fun watching the games tonight,” he said before waving goodbye. He didn’t even bother to look back as he stumbled towards home.

Jealousy Only Breeds More Jealousy (2)

Pairing: Felix Millstone x Reader
AO3 Link
Chapter Summary: You're having a real rough time. At least Nyoka has put her plans into action. You're just not sure how you feel about it.
“Wow, I didn’t know you would be that bad at flirting. I thought you were kidding,” Nyoka snickered to herself as she recalled all the failed attempts you had at the bar. Just thinking about it sent her into another fit of giggles.
“Please never bring that up again. I don’t even want to think about that,” you said with a groan as you helped lead her back to the ship. You’d never be able to show off your face at that specific bar again.
Perhaps you should have listened to Nyoka and had a couple of drinks to help loosen up. Then it might have gotten rid of your nerves and you might have avoided embarrassing yourself when somebody tried hooking up with you at the bar. He was even a cute fella which only added onto your nervousness. The guy was even sweet enough to buy you a drink and continue a conversation with you as you fumbled with what to say to him. Then you just had to accidentally spill the drink he purchased on his lap. Nyoka was already having the time of her life laughing at your misfortune, only for it to turn into hysterics when you embarrassed yourself further by accidentally elbow the guy in the face and give him a nosebleed.
Yeah it wasn’t a good experience.
So it was an understatement to say you were relieved when you finally made it to the ship after hauling Nyoka all the way there as her support.
“I promise I’ll help you next time,” Nyoka said, when you brought her back to her room.
“Jeez you both look like a wreck. What have you two been up to?” Ellie said, catching sight of you and Nyoka.
Nyoka did her best to stifle her laughter at the question, absolutely replaying what happened in her mind again. You could feel your face heating up in embarrassment as Nyoka explained what happened at the bar in between her fits of giggles.
“Wow, I didn’t think you’d actually go after someone else.” Ellie said, a hint of amusement on her face. At least she didn’t laugh out right in your face at how badly you managed to fuck up.
“Huh? What do you mean?” you asked.
“At least half the crew knew about your little crush on Felix. I’m just glad you’re over it now. I never really got why you were interested in him in the first place.”
“You have to be joking. Please tell me nobody else knows about my crush,” you practically beg, hoping it’s all an elaborate prank.
“Wait. Don’t tell me you still like him.”
You couldn’t look her in the eye.
She sighed as if disappointed. Your lack of a response was enough of a confirmation to her. “Y’know, I really don’t understand it. At least go through with it and confess to him or something. We’re all getting sick of the way you look at him like a lovesick puppy. It’s disgusting.”
Well that certainly did nothing to help ease the uncomfortable feeling that had been lingering for hours now.
“Ohh forget about her. Don’t even worry about it. I have a plan. I have a plan for you. It’s gonna be fantastic,” Nyoka reassured you, slapping you on the back. The fact that she was drunk did not ease your fears in the slightest either.
“Yeah, thanks Nyoka,” you said as you lead her to her bed. She fell back on the bed, nearly passing out immediately as soon as most of her body was on top of the surface. With a groan you fixed her legs so she was laying horizontally on her bed instead of nearly falling off. By that time she was already deep in sleep. Gripping one of her boots in your hand, you tugged back on it and slid it off her foot and set it beside her bed and did the same with the other boot she wore.
Feeling even more worn out than before, you turned off the light in Nyoka’s room, shutting the door behind you and finally returning to your own quarters on the ship.
You barely had the energy to slip off your clothes and change into something more comfortable to sleep in. It was a relief when your head finally hit the pillow and you pulled the covers up to your chin.
Tomorrow you would brush off today’s events. Tomorrow you would move on and it would be a better day. At least that’s what you hoped for as you drifted off to sleep.
---
The next day was not much better. In fact it was a far worse, but in a very different way.
“Wow, I’m glad we didn’t stay for lunch,” Felix said as you, Nyoka and him exited the house, blood stained on all of your clothes. It nearly took all your restraint to keep the bile from rising in your throat. You swallowed back the burning acrid taste of it.
It wasn’t the first time you had killed a human being. Far from it at this point.
We killed a family.
Sure they were cannibals. Sure they were even going to feed you human flesh without any of you knowing. Most likely they were going to kill and eat all three of you two if you hadn’t killed your way out of it. Even if you hadn’t discovered the body upstairs.
They would have killed us if we didn’t fight back.
You take deep breaths as you try to block the images of the gruesomeness of it out of your mind. Their children seemed to be innocent for the most part. That’s what made it so much worse. It was as if the son had no clue what was going on. Fuck.
Fuck.
“Boss?” Felix is the first to notice. His voice was soft, cautious and the way he’s looking at you makes you feel crushed. He looks alarmed, almost a mix of fear and shock. It’s then that you notice the wetness on your cheeks.
“Hey, hey, you’re alright,” Nyoka said, moving to your side and gently rubbing your back. “It’s okay. We didn’t have a choice...”
"Yeah, who knows what might have happened if we just left them," Felix joined in, both companions now crowded around you. After all, it was a rare occurrence to see their captain so vulnerable.
It was meant to be reassuring, a comfort to hear, but you knew it was a lie. You could have just gone out the other door that lead to the balcony. You could have retrieved Braxton’s ID and left. Even then you would have been haunted. The question of whether or not they would continue to kill others and eat the evidence. It had to be stopped and you chose to end it before anything else could happen. Still the voice in the back of your head nagged at you, asking questions that made you want to scream. What if you could have done something different? What if you could have convinced them to stop?
It didn’t matter now. You had made your choice and you would have to accept the consequences that came with the blood on your hands.
The tears wouldn't stop no matter how hard you tried to keep them at bay. It was the first time your crew members had seen you cry. In fact it was the first time you've cried since you left the Hope. It wasn't just this situation that caused you to break. Everything that had lead up to this point crashed into you. This was just the last crack in the wall that sent everything crumbling.
---
It took a couple day to push down the events from the other day. It was enough for you to collect your bearings and return to your duties. There were things that needed to be done whether you were up for it or not. Besides you had faced worse and lived through it all the same. This was no different. It was almost strange how much easier it was getting to handle the horrible situations you kept running into. The crew all seemed to pick up on your emotions, once you returned to the ship, each of them offering their support in their own way. Both Nyoka and Felix kept a close eye on you, doing their best to cheer you up and keep your mind off of things. They probably thought it was only because of the other day since you didn't bother to explain the mental breakdown you had in front of them. Their kindness was more than what you could ask for.
Now you were ready to move on and most likely bottle everything up again until the next bursting point came along.
“I’m so sorry,” you said when you returned Braxton’s ID tag to Velma and explained what became of the worker. It was a horrible situation which made you feel even worse for what you were about to ask for next.
“I know I mentioned this before and I’m sorry to ask, but could we get that poster Grimm has been asking for?” you asked in a rush, already feeling anxious about having to ask for it after reporting her friend’s death.
“Yeah, yeah. I guess it’s only right after what you did,” Velma said.
Inwardly you cringed at how defeated she looked when she handed over the poster you had been trying to get your hands on since the moment you landed on this headache-inducing planet.
Awwwww, poor Nell, you thought as you tried to conceal your smile. It was petty but you couldn't help but feel giddy that you had actually bested her in the situation. Besides, from what you had heard, Grimm seemed much more desperate for it considering how persistent he's been. Besides, you agreed to help him out first anyway.
"Hey Grimm, we got your poster finally. Sorry it took a while," you said once you found him near the landing dock. It wasn't difficult considering he was almost exactly in the same place you first met him.
It was cute how excited he was when you handed it over.
"Wow! I really can't thank you enough," Grimm said ecstatically. "Here, you've earned them."
"Actually," Nyoka interrupted before he could finish pulling out his bit cartridges. "I think there's something else you could do for the captain," she said, giving you a wink.
Oh no.
"Oh sure. What can I do for you?" He asked with a kind smile. His gaze landed on you expectantly, as if you knew what the hell Nyoka was talking about.
“Why don’t you take our lovely captain out to the bar tonight and spend those bits on them there,” Nyoka suggested innocently.
“Like a date?” Grimm asked.
“Exactly!”
“Well I get off around six, if you don’t mind waiting until then. Did you want to meet there?” he asked you.
“Y-yeah that sounds fine,” you said, taking a moment to respond as you struggled to form words. Of course Nyoka would have something like this planned, and in front of Felix too! It would feel too rude to say no now after he already agreed to it. You hadn’t even been the one to ask Grimm out and yet you still felt guilt creeping into your gut. There was curiosity too, chanting for you to look and see how Felix reacted. The idea that he might not even care at all is what kept you staring straight ahead.
“Woah boss, you’re really gonna go out with someone who made us do his dirty work?”
Looks like you wouldn’t even have to guess how he felt about it after all.
“Huh? It was just a poster, Felix. It’s not a big deal,” you said, genuinely surprised by the outburst. When you turn to face him, he seems not at all pleased by the escalating situation, but he doesn’t add anything more to the conversation.
“I’ll see you later then,” Grimm said.
Fuck, his smile was really cute.
“I’ve gotta say captain, it took you long enough to finally get a date,” Nyoka joked when you all made it back to the ship, earning an unamused look from you.
“I still don’t know why you agreed to it. The guy’s a moron,” Felix said.
You decided to ignore the irony in that.
“I don’t know. He seems like their type,” Nyoka smirked at you. “He’s cute, dumb, and nice enough.”
“Sounds like they have bad taste.”
Nyoka burst into laughter at Felix’s comment. Turning around, you headed towards your quarters as you attempted to force yourself to stop blushing. After all, you had a date to get ready for later.
