My grandmother tried to kill me so she could make a "perfect" grandchild

Hi magical side of Reddit. I know people usually come on this side to ask for help with spells and stuff, but I need to vent and it's magic-related, so...

For context, I (14F) am the daughter of a fashion designer(40F) and businessman(42M) that run a fashion house together. I also have an uncle(41M), a second cousin(41M) that is married to one of my mother's best friends(39F) and his mother (my great-aunt), and grandparents on both side of the family. Now, since I was about three, we have been NC with my paternal grandparents. I didn't know why, and I didn't really question it- all I remember of them was that my grandma was really friendly, but my grandpa was super cold and apparently both were super controlling.

Earlier today, I was helping my father wash dishes, talking about his childhood. My mother has a lot of funny stories from her childhood but my father- thanks to controlling parents- didn't have any funny stories. I was wondering about that since my grandma had seemed fun-loving and my father casually dropped that she tried to kill me when I was three.

So...fun fact, apparently, my grandparents apparently found a magical artifact that could make monsters and people. Apparently, they were meant for warriors, but my grandparents decided to make kids with them. Apparently, my great-aunt had been infertile for a long time and my grandma didn't like my father because he was more like my grandpa instead of her. So she used the artifact to make her perfect child, my uncle.

Anyway, my father had to deal with that whole mess into high school when he met my mother. My mother, for a short while, had a massive crush on my uncle and my grandma encouraged that, believing that they were the best match. Things fell apart (my father didn't explain this but he did mention something about sausage hair under his breath) and my mother ended up dating my father and got married to him.

My grandma then tried to convince them not to have a natural child and instead let her make the perfect grandchild. My parents, who were not detached from reality, refused and had me. After that, said my father, she calmed down about the perfection stuff...

Until one summer when they found her trying to drown me.

Apparently she wanted to give me a swimming lesson, ignoring the fact that I had been taking swimming lessons since I was a baby, and got annoyed when I wanted to stop. Father thinks this was a BS excuse for her to try and get an opportunity to make a "perfect" grandchild.

My father kept my mother from killing her. Apparently he regrets that.

Ok so I'm currently writing a Fanfic thats a Marinette x Felix. Which I get is not a popular ship I get it but I need some cute wholesome moments for them to have and I'm asking for ideas. Okay so I can’t be the only one who thinks this....it’s just a thought but

What about a au or fanfic of Felix like visiting again or something, and like having to stay for like a month or two for whatever reason. And so like in the first two weeks or so he has been around Adrien and all his friends around school and whatnot, not many akuma attacks but Adrien manages to get away and not revel his secret and so on....

So in this time Felix has like developed a crush on marinette bc marinette isn’t fumbling around Felix and basically shows her ladybug side more in front of him instead of Adrien. So then like Felix try’s being nicer to her or whatever and has trouble trying to deal with the feelings.

But meanwhile marinette starts to think that felixs attempts to flirt with her or something remind her of chat noir. And so...(spoiler to new season 5) like she talks about it with alya and so then alya is like get close and see if he reminds you of chat noir...

And so you can kinda imagine more on that but I have a few other scattered thoughts on this au thought, but like or repost and I’ll come back later to discuss more on this au.

Au where felix found out marinette was ladybug

Felix ran into ladybug while she was detransforming and now marinette has to make sure hes OK everytime there's an akuma attack so her secret wont get out and when hes in paris she does his errands in exchange of him keeping the secret cause he's smug lol

During an akuma attack she carries him to safety princess style and they're arguing the whole way.

"Isnt there a more efficient way to carry me!?" Felx complains with his arms crossed.

Ladybug rolls her eyes, "would you rather ride piggy back your highness?" She asks sarcastically.

"Leave the attitude for your fight, which youre losing. Maybe you'd fight better if I were on your team." He shot back.

Marinette scoffed, "No way."

"Youre just scared id be better then you."

"Bring it on Blondie!"

Felix faked laughed, "Hah! I could take you down faster then you can defeat an akuma!"

Chat Noir notices how much ladybug saves Felix when hes around and how much they banter.

When Felix visits Adrien, adrien notices Marinette running around him.

"Who are you texting?" Adrien asked his cousin.

"No one." He smiled.

Meanwhile Alya notices Marinettes melancholy expression. "Whats up girl?"

Marinette smiled, "sorry, I'll see you later, i forgot i have to uh, go do something... Um... Okay bye!" And she ran off.

Felix was at the Agreste manor gate when marinette arrived running and out of breath.

"Here... *gasp for air* your stupid... Ice cream..." She held the cone up to him while she was bent over catching her breath.

"Its almost melted now, i dont want it."

She stood up straight, "you texted me if i didnt get you an ice cream in 15 minutes you'd tell adrien my secret! Im here, it's 14 minutes! Take the ice cream!"

Felix smirked. "You did good for a servant. I want a croissant instead."

"What!?"

"In about 10 minutes?"

Adrien notice from the window the two outside shouting at eachother. "When did they get so close?" He felt a bit down.

Low key Adrien tries to get closer to marinette in a subconscious way to keep her away from his cousin to keep her safe.

Felix starts having fun arguing with marinette all the time and being able to keep her close.

Felixs loves teasing her about how clumsy she is as marinette and not as ladybug.

He starts visiting Adrien more just to be able to see marinette and watches her from afar when he can.

When marinettes having fun with Adrien Felix gets annoyed and texts her to go do an errand for him to get her away from Adrien.

Felix tries to keep her from seeing luka at all cost and luka notices

Luka confront felix at some point

Ladybug gets hurt trying to get felix away from danger and he instead carries her to safety so she can detransform and recharge.

Felix is a sassy bebe.

Here I am....just doing my civil duty by reading miraculous fanfic....and this author has the audacity to make me cry by writing fifty chapters of felix/marinette only for felix to die in the sequel and have adrien become the next chat noir..........
