there's a big french terf manifest (manifesto? i don't remember the name in english) that was published 2 days ago and it's absolutely terrifying bc they define themselves as "human female" and ik it's sometimes used in english but in french it's one of the most degrading ways to refer to a woman.
and another thing is that female (femelle in fr) is the noun and human is the adjective, so it's "femelles humaines" which puts femelles first (and most important part) and considers humaines as kind of a bonus. idk how they think this is feminism. they're so obsessed with detaching themselves from trans women that they'd rather use mysoginistic, harmful terms to define themselves. it's kinda pathetic
