speaking of concept art one of my favorite tidbits is that an early draft of nero was the idea of making him a "sherlock holmes-type character who would sip tea while fighting demons" and i genuinely think that if a dmc6 is made they must reuse that draft for a new character because the idea of a terminally british or perhaps even chronically french version of nero is too fucking good

can you imagine nero and french nero fighting femons together and nero's like "This one's yours!" before french nero goes "I shall now pull me Devilé Triggeré!" as he pulls out a violin with red queen's color scheme and plays a demon to near death before transforming into a version of himself with a monocle

if SDT distorts the world around dante and vergil, british/french nero would turn the world into 1800s london and cover the battlefield with a horrible stench with his devil trigger

nero's devil bringer for a lot of dmc4's development was yellow instead of blue so i assume british nero would have a tea dispenser arm

I always adored how much the director of dmc4 was inspired by rodins's the gates of hell and thata why beta nero and dmc4 is Like That. Also this post made me laugh in class and i had to explain french nero.

Honestly, I'd love to see a canon character/oc very similar to the concept. PoC plays a lot with the concept of devil hunter guilds and although its obviously not canon, it would be cool to see rival hunters working with the main crew like that. There WAS a concept of there being a hub style where there were a bunch of other devil hunters in dmc5 and the designs go hard.
