Mel’s hips were grinding furiously against Grayson’s thighs, her breathing sharp and rough as she chased her high. 6) Favorite title you used

I feel like it might be Heart-Shaped Box, which is very on brand of me, I know, but I have a soft spot for the absolutely ancient twitter beef Courtney Love and Lana Del Rey had over the symbolism of that song and it just felt very appropriate given the contents of the story.

12) How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?

Okay, so I definitely have three that I'm very set on finishing. If we include half-snippets that I thought might become fics one day that I doubt I'll ever actually get around to completing, it's closer to seven or maybe nine.

19 What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

I'd love to write more of the female characters beyond Rebecca, and I have a slight hope of actually doing something for femslah february this year, although I'm still not sure if it should be a pairing I've already written or maybe something a little more out of left feel like Sassy/Keeley or Rebecca². And I'm not saying that one of the WIPs I was talking about that I want to complete is a beard/jamie fic but it's a beard/jamie fic.

8. Who gets jealous easier?

There’s a jealous streak in both of them, but Mel’s tendency to get jealous is bigger than Grayson’s. Maybe it’s the age thing, or Mel’s own - very well and deeply hidden - insecurities. She’s so happy with Grayson, but all these feelings are also overwhelming for her and thus she can sometimes get caught in some jealousy. There’s a younger colleague of Grayson’s who can cause that, or the Piltover’s finest at parties when they try to suck it up to the Sheriff/Mel’s partner. It’s never very serious though. On particular occasions Mel would simply butt into the conversations, planting herself at Grayson’s side, making sure their skins touch lightly - because that’s calming too - but generally she just waits until Grayson meets her glance, those honest eyes always reassuring her that everything is well.  

For Grayson the biggest spout of jealousy arose when Mel was dating Jayce. She’s ashamed about it, but it got under her skin pretty bad - all passive aggressive of course. She’s the queen of passive aggressiveness. Mel didn’t notice for a long while, but Jayce felt the hostile vibes. He was quite intimidated by her for a while. 

And of course, things always get particular spicy when either of them felt jealous... you may ask about that if you want ;)

6. Who’s the big and little spoon?

Without a doubt Grayson is the big spoon! She’s not above allowing Mel to spoon her from time to time, but she prefers to be the one protecting her precious love.

7. What are their favorite things to do together?

Honestly, mostly it’s mundane/boring things, like sharing at least one meal together, or doing their less important paperwork side by side. They also enjoy their shared silences, for example: Grayson reading a book while Mel paints. (Mel also loves to sketch Grayson whenever they’re doing separate tasks in the same room). They don’t share a hobby as such. Mel is an artist and philosopher, whereas Grayson is more of a garden and great-outdoors-lover. But their interests cross paths, so they’re favourite things to do outside the walls of their home definitely include exhibitions (history and art), eating, and going to Grayson’s cabin in the woods.

8. Who’s better at comforting the other?

They’re equally good at it.
