[Commissioned by @crazytrain48​. This is an Arduin-adjacent monster. It didn’t appear in any “official” Arduin book, but was written by Dave Hargrave for the All the World’s Monsters series, a collection of three mimeographed books of monsters, many of which had previously appeared in Arduin products. They’re very charming. The wazoon’s entry makes references to “rasslin” and “fermented bungleberry juice”, so it’s pretty clear it’s supposed to be a fantasy version of a Comedy Hillbilly. Pathfinder already has evil hillbilly stereotypes as monsters in the ogre, so it felt right to connect the two. Less Texas Chainsaw Massacre, more Snuffy Smith. And tredlocity’s art definitely captures the Li’l Abner vibe.]

Wazoon CR 4 N Humanoid (Giant) This oversized humanoid creature has scaly yellow skin, blank pink eyes, and long purple hair. It wears no armor, but carries an enormous sword.

A wazoon is a boisterous, bold type of giant found in backwoods and hill country. Their own creation myth holds that they are the descendants of a tribe of ogres that were transformed into creatures with more sense, intelligence and a clashing color palette by fey, following some unwitting good deed the ogre performed for the fey. Different clans have different ideas about what that deed was, and what kind of fey was involved, but all of them feel deeply indebted to fey creatures. As such, wazoons are exceedingly friendly to gnomes, halflings, and anyone else under three feet tall, in case they are fey or fey in disguise. Elves, on the other hand, are typically disliked for being snooty and condescending.

Wazoons like physical sports and games, particularly those that rely on muscle over agility. Wrestling is their favorite, and wazoons will often challenge anyone or anything vaguely humanoid to a wrestling contest as a way of making friends or settling disputes. These are typically nonlethal affairs from the wazoon’s end, but if a foe insists on drawing blood, a wazoon will do the same. Wazoons are literally fearless, and may enter a rage if injured—a raging wazoon doesn’t back down, and often fights to the death.

The most important thing to a wazoon is its clan, which is usually sprawling and consists of several intermarried families. Wazoon clans sometimes go to war with each other, sometimes come together for marriages or festivals, and often have established wrestling rivalries, complete with team colors and songs. Wazoons love food and drink, and have a remarkable tolerance for poisons. Most toxins affect them with mere drunkenness instead of illness and death, and wazoon cuisine often contains poisonous berries, mushrooms and other stuff that would kill or debilitate a non-wazoon. Wazoon moonshine is coveted as an intoxicant by the foolhardy and to sterilize medical equipment by people with more sense.

A wazoon stands between seven and nine feet tall. Males and females both wear their hair long and braided, and armor is seen as a cowardly choice. Their teeth, fingernails and bones are green in hue.

tudo bem, vou deixar as ideias aqui, caso alguém tenha interesse. só não falarei sobre o plot baseado em ano hana, porque tenho ciúmes dele, e sobre hp... acho meio difícil ter uma ideia original sobre, porque já teve de tudo na tag, mas quem sabe. enfim, veja depois do cut!

teatro e circo : seria basicamente locais prestes a fechar, porque as pessoas não se interessam mais neles, mas com a chegada de X, tudo parece mudar, os funcionários já estavam em fase de aceitação que tudo acabaria, mas X trouxe magia a tudo novamente, acendendo a vontade para que continuassem naquilo.

vejo como um nxn com papéis pre definidos, mas sem estipular gêneros, todos tem alguma ligação já. se fosse uma comunidade "aberta", quem sabe englobar várias áreas do entretenimento, com uma produtora caindo aos pedaços, poderia dar certo.

soulmates : não sei se tem muito o que mudar, da pra seguir o estilo do anime koi to uso (com um aplicativo governamental que decide quem é seu par após idade x). tatuagem/marca que remete a profissão ou hobbie do par, enxergar cores... são inúmeras possibilidades, conseguindo encaixar o tema, tudo certo.

acredito que funcione em nxn ou em comunidade aberta, só acho que devia ter um balanço entre os gêneros, porque alguém sempre pode acabar sozinho ou coisa assim.

F1 ou rachas : competições, equipes, um torneio mundial. muitas ramificações dentro desse mundo das corridas. sabe o filme carros? com a copa pistão e tals, da pra se basear nisso também, segue o fio. um cara rico quer se divertir, então cria uma corrida para pilotos "legais" e "ilegais" onde o prêmio final é ser patrocinado pela empresa dele - que é bem reconhecida -, ninguém sabe se ele vai montar uma equipe ou ter apenas um vencedor, é tudo um mistério. vários tipos de chars, aqueles que querem o patrocínio por estar começando ou estar retornando, aqueles que só querem dinheiro fácil ou desejam ajudar a família, e claro, os que só querem a adrenalina.

nxn é a minha primeira opção, por tratar-se de competição. nessa ideia, acredito ser bom um sistema de pontos básico e muitos eventos/tasks para desenvolver todos os participantes, muito além das pistas e sim, como pessoas.

espiões : uma agência secreta que trabalha para o governo ou para pessoas bem ricas, os espiões trabalham em times de até quatro pessoas e quem se destacar mais, ganha um tipo de "promoção" podendo ter casos que valem mais dinheiro - e ao mesmo tempo, mais perigo.

nxn, pois não vejo a dinâmica em comunidade aberta, talvez algo bem pequeno para desenvolver bem. os times sempre mudam, ter um sistema de pontos simples, alguns níveis (tipo de artes marciais, mas no lugar de faixas, quem sabe, broches?) e uma gama de missões das mais simples para as mais complexas. nesse tema, acredito que seja legal no discord para usar o bot do dado.

bandas : um festival ou que foque em três bandas, cada uma em seu estilo e que vivem competindo entre si. eles podem ser contratados por algum lugar badalado e existe uma escala para os dias que cada uma vai tocar, só que o dono lança um desafio, onde as bandas precisam mostrar autenticidade e a que mais o surpreender, vai ganhar mais um dia na escala.

nxn ou comunidade aberta, não sei. teria de ter um sistema de pontos justo que contasse desenvolvimento e outras coisas, apenas para alimentar uma competição saudável entre todos. para dar uma vibe mais amigável, talvez todos os membros das bandas se conhecem, foram amigos de escola, faculdade ou vizinhos, então sempre torcem um pelo outro e sem sabotagens (ou quem sabe).

como disse, a tag já tentou de tudo (que eu lembro), mas acho que ficaria legal uma comunidade ou nxn que usasse o universo como base, mas criasse algo diferente em cima, em outro tipo de ambientalização, fora de hogwarts (ou escola), ainda mantendo os bruxos e talvez as casas, não sei ao certo.

A bunch of titles I made up (apologies if they've already been done bc some of them are cheesy) and the vibe behind them (tho u can twist it around a bit that'd be fun). I'm physically incapable of writing good fanfic so you can have them <3 (also some of them are long don't come at me)

Drag me down underwater (then tell me that's how you were raised) -- I suffered why shouldn't they mentality vs. I suffered so they wouldn't angst. tbh i think this would be a chapter title rather than an overarching one.

Mountains out of Molehills and Roses out of Daffodils -- Misunderstandings fic, A thinking they're misreading B's flirting and getting mixed signals. A thinks it's all platonic and their love is unrequited.

if my lies are beautiful, then my truth is ugly -- A has been holding onto a relationship-breaking secret since they met B about themselves. Then the truth is revealed (i specifically thought of the merthur dynamic for this one if that helps).

Apologies and w(h)ine -- Insincere drunk apologies that are so bad that they end up not being apologies at all. Instead all they do is whine about how character B HAS to forgive them. Yeah, A or someone else has to be an asshole for this one sorry peeps

Flourish and Bloom -- Like Flourish and Blotts, meant to be a HP-related fic. Just a cute little title for a meet-cute + slowburn combo.

Hey Sweetie, I'm Sour -- Character A is working (literally any job that requires human interactions) and are getting hit on/being called pet names at work by creepy ppl. Either Character A gets fed up with it, or B gets fed up with it.

Honey: The Bee's Knees -- A soft, fluffy breakfast fic involving either pancakes or waffles. After breakfast though, they have no syrup, and the couple is actually running low on stuff. Oh well, guess there'll just have to be a whole scene where they go to the grocery store and are silly with each other being super cute and domestic.

Lights and Baubles -- Okay I know it's like March, but this is specifically a CHRISTMAS title. Definitely a fluff fic involving decorating for Christmas.

Love Taps and Love Notes -- Fluffy fic about the dynamic between the gift & physical touch love languages. I think this could work with pre-relationship or established relationship timeline.

Candy Apple of My Eye -- The setting is a fair/festival with obviously: candy apples. I think I was thinking of a meet-cute with this one.

First steps with Halloween Sophia (my build in FEH)

So, the [Tempest Trials+] for Oct/2021 started today and I've been grinding it until 15k, but had to sleep and go somewhere outside in-between plus look for more SNES music, because I never have enough. 🙂

Anyway, I've just managed to get both copies so here's her current build, with [Pact Blooms+] on the wait list, she'll get it once I get 20k [Hero Feathers]. So, here's the build I have on her for now:

What can I say? I really like Sophia, so of course I went all out for her with whatever I had to spare, most noteworthy my only Plumeria. 👁

Either way, I'm happy with how she's turning out to be: a powerful magical tank.

As for the [Accessory] I've given her, it's Owain's [Wings of Darkness], they're just pretty cool and match Sophia's color palette so well in this version, her sprite is really cute and charming too.

Well... this is certainly not what I'd have hoped for, considering what's her OG form like, then again, she has a low defence growth and thin-paper defence in Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals, so this statline should make more sense, still, it feels a tad generical, too focused on her magical tanking ability, and fliers aren't exactly the best options for tanking in general, with some exceptions, but Sophia will do a great job at soaking magical damage, even with base kit alone, she's also our first blue tome flier obtainable without [Orbs], making her somewhat special.

Also, the only super asset she has is HP, but there's like, no reason at all to take it, DEF and RES are super flaws, so since you need to choose a bane, SPD is overall best... still, the lack of proper super assets is kinda disappointing...

Even though her statline is not what I wanted (perhaps slightly better DEF in exchange for some RES), I'm still happy with her alt and will make her work somehow.

Anyway, should you need more units from her home game, and particularly someone adept at a role like hers, she'll do nicely, make sure you don't miss the free copies regardless!

I rate this statline: 7/10

Artwork

I have to say it, it's too beautiful and adorable, bringing the best of her charms while complimenting her design's color palette creatively and in the right season of the year. She may not be fond of scaring people but she's still enjoying the festivities and shows happiness in her special artwork.

I've noticed the reblogs to my artwork post and can say we can collectively agree how cute she looks in the new artwork and attire.

Speaking of her attire, I get strong "goth bride" vibes from it, but of course I know it's a dress for the "harvest festival", I definitely like the creativity on both it and the whole concept in this alt, revolving around spiders and cobweb as "spooky" elements that are part of the Halloween thematic like we're used to see.

Even her srite is that amazing.

And the spider plushie is cute as a button, I like the animation when Sophia throws it in the air before grabbing it back.

I rate her artwork: 10/10

Quotes

Gosh, both her quotes and voice clips are so lovely, giving us a good idea of what's she like: a calm and gentle girl usually exhibiting shyness, the unusual kind of personality you'd expect from people that practice dark magic.

Still, I feel like her voice overall went a little farther from her persona, Wendee Lee still does a nice job voicing Sophia, that's for sure and I do recognize her talent... it's just I think the best and closest feeling of Sophia you'll get throughout voice clips is most likely from the VA's work in 2017 with Sophia's original version, in which she sounded slightly higher pitched and soft-spoken, at least to me, that feels more in character.

I rate the voice acting and quotes: 9/10

Overall satisfaction and final considerations

From my POV, I consider she was really well done overall, despite the minor "issues" I've found, nothing I'd really complain about (unless something was done terribly wrong).

As a character, she's really precious, and, as a unit, she can become a strong magical tank, she may not be the best but you can be sure you can rely on her, plus being easily attainable really helps.

Btw... planned build

I'll focus on her key stats, which are attack and resistance, some of her skills in this planned build are already down, but I don't possess [Mirror Stance 3] and [A/R Far Trace 3] sources for now, fortunately though, Hapi was just added to the regular blue pool, hopefully she'll spook me, because [A/R Far Trace 3] is such a great skill like the rest of the {Trace} family, though they're somewhat hard to come by.

I also want [Close Ward] on her but it's not necessary, it'd help her with facing dragons, which would be nice.

I'll also think of something that might work for player phase, part of the reason why I've chosen ATT for stat asset, I think it's the most flexible and useful choice overall.

Hey, congratulations on your first game going so well! I've been DMing for over a decade now, and it always makes me really happy to see new people getting into it. Would you tell us a bit about your party, and your first session? (Also I would totally be a sounding board for you if that's ever something you need!)

Thanks! As nervous as I was/am about DMing I hadn’t a lot of really fun playing experiences, so I wanted to create that for my friends. Happy to share a bit about my characters. So they are a bit of a mixed bag, which I am really looking forward to learning more about them and how they’ll interact as a group. I gave my players pretty free reign on character choices since we were heavily restricted our first time playing because the DM wasn’t too keen on learning anything new - so there is a mixed bag of races. Firstly the characters:

Valorin - she is a Kalashtar cleric, think a more chill Jester with a 90s emo kid vibe (though definitely has the begrudging healing down). She’s about 30 with no memory beyond the last 10 years. But does have a penchant for hard candy.

Garlan - an Aasimar druid (also playing as a Hollow One), he’s the son of a noble, so he’s got a bit of a pretentious vibe at the moment. But seems like the type of person that sees the value in helping people. Definitely daddy issues.

Marco the unremembered - he’s a Leonin barbarian (oh the backstory this man has). There is tragedy upon tragedy in his past - a lot self inflicted. At the start of the campaign though he is serving as a slightly unfit, drunken bodyguard of Valorin (he’s gotta get money for ale somewhere).

Delphira - a half-elf fighter (her player is the newest to D&D and was mostly looking for simple initially) not much is known about her past yet, she’s keeping things mostly close to her chest. Though she definitely seems to like having control.

Larora - she’s a Tiefling rogue who multi-classed into a wizard at the first opportunity (we’re working together on how that’ll fit in her backstory & how to make that work for her in general). Also keeping things pretty close to home so far. But did help Valorin steal some candy, and seems to quite like it a lot herself.

First session had the group meeting at a Harvest close festival held in Felderwin. Lots of food was had, and games played. Though all were keen to get to the new event this year, a battle royale was being held for adventuring parties with gold as the reward. The Starosta’s son was home from the Soltryce Academy and was able to conjure creatures for battle - so the first two rounds the group fought a handful of lesser demons each round.

They were cocky going in - given the opportunity to plan and discuss strategy they instead sat around drinking. Leaving the battle with single digit HP each got them to wise up pretty quick. The third round was against another group (I loved getting to use my old PCs levelled down for this - also monks are the shit and my little Shifter monk NPC stood toe to toe with the barbarian for a long while, and went down grinning. She might be a recurring NPC for the group, the barbarian had a bit of interaction with her after the fight as well.

After winning, they were ushered off to speak privately with the Starosta who needs their help in tracking down his runaway daughter. A drunk in town has been spouting end of the world predictions with the gods supposedly returning. Apparently she might have taken that seriously and has run off - for what purpose? The party is not yet sure. But after a night to rest and recoup they’ll be heading north in search of her.

I don’t use the bus on my way to school or back home, but tonight was different. I had to take it because... Vivian needed a helping hand.

Kyle is seated at the back row of the bus and Vivian is seated next to him, with her head laid on his shoulder. She’s fast asleep and her breathing is soft and calm. Kyle smiles at her then looks out the bus window, recounting what happened earlier.

Usually when I see people being sad or crying about something, I do my best to comfort them and help them, at least, smile a little. I don’t want them to end up like me, who has gone far down in despair. But Vivian... she was different. I have to make sure that she always smiles.

Fifteen minutes earlier, Kyle spotted Vivian quietly singing inside the auditorium, with her voice cracking from sadness. Kyle rushed towards the redhead and tried to comfort her.

Kyle: Vivian...?

Vivian turned to Kyle in surprise, with tears.

Vivian: Kyle... 

She wiped her tears.

Vivian: I thought you went home...

Kyle: I had to go to the boys’ restroom first.

Kyle placed a hand on Vivian’s shoulder.

Kyle: Is everything alright...?

Vivian nodded and faked a smile.

Vivian: Yeah...

I know a fake smile when I see one. If Karen and Sam can figure it out, I can do it better.

Kyle tucked a strand of Vivian’s smooth hair behind her ear.

Kyle: No, you’re not, Vivian. I can clearly tell...

Vivian looked at Kyle for a moment before gently tackling him into a tight embrace. Kyle slowly wrapped his arms around the redhead and strokes her smooth hair as she broke down again. 

Vivian: It’s just... 

Kyle: Sshh... You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to yet. When you’re ready, I’ll be there for you.

Vivian nodded and slowly relaxed in Kyle’s arms. After a few seconds, they pulled away and looked into each other’s eyes.

Vivian: Thank you...

Kyle smiled and nodded. He offered his hand.

Kyle: Come on. Let’s get you home.

Vivian smiled sweetly as she took the boy’s hand.

Her touch is just as soft and warm as her embrace. And there it goes again, my fast heartbeat. I did not pay attention to it. I had to bring Vivian home safely. After we held hands, I pulled out my phone and texted Karen that I’m going home late.

After putting his phone away, Kyle looked back at Vivian with a smile before they took off. The boy unlocked his bike from the bike rack and joined the redhead on her way to the bus stop.

Vivian: You don’t have to come with me. I’m fine on my own.

Kyle: I know, but I feel like you needed company.

Vivian giggles.

Vivian: Well, you do give a more positive vibe, Mr. Collins.

Kyle: Pfft, yeah, right...

The two shared a laugh before getting into the bus, bringing them into present time, as Vivian slowly laid her head on Kyle’s shoulder before falling asleep.

A few minutes pass and Vivian wakes up just in time to spot her house from a distance.

Vivian: Oh, we’re here.

She gets up hurries to the front of the bus. Kyle follows while carrying his foldable bike. They step off the bus and stop at the front yard of Vivian’s house. The redhead girl turns to the brunet boy.

Vivian: Thanks, Kyle, for everything you’ve done tonight.

Kyle: I should be thanking you as well. I’ve never smiled genuinely for the past months. Clearly, you’re something special, Vivian.

Vivian blushes and looks away.

Vivian: Y-You really think so...?

Kyle: Yeah. I’m glad to have met you.

Vivian looks at Kyle again as they smile at each other. The redhead walks to her house while waving goodbye towards the boy. Kyle waves back before making his way back home with his bike.

It’s true. She truly was something else, like no other. I want to spend more time with her. I really hope that she was cast as Quinn while I’m cast as Casey. Though I’m not sure as well. Do I... like her...? Well, I’m about to find out soon enough.

Kyle arrives home and sees Karen and Lucas in the dining room, eating dinner.

Kyle: I’m home.

Lucas: Welcome back.

Karen smirks.

Karen: Sooo? How was--

Kyle: Quiet.

Kyle looks unamused towards his sister and takes a seat by the dining table. Karen laughs as she and Lucas continue eating dinner. Kyle joins them and the three shared their stories for the whole day.

Lucas: Glad you’re making progress, Kyle. I’m proud of you and grateful towards Vivian.

Kyle: Thanks.

Karen: Eeek! I’m so excited how this will turn out!

Kyle chuckles at Karen’s excitement but he quickly turns sad.

Kyle: But...

He then tells them about what happened after the audition.

Karen: Oh no...

Lucas: Looks like you’re not the only one going through something, huh?

Kyle: Guess so...

Karen stands up to hug her twin brother while Lucas places a hand on his shoulder.

Lucas: Kyle, don’t forget; there are times where two people are like pieces of a puzzle. They complete each other.

Kyle nods and smiles. The three spend the rest of the night having a great time before going to bed.

Meanwhile, Sam goes home to his house. As he enters, he spots his father on the phone. His father then returns the look.

Sam’s Father: We’ll continue this later, Peter. Goodbye.

Sam’s father drops the call and turns to his son. He greets him with a serious, yet calm tone.

Sam’s Father: Welcome back.

Sam: Hey, dad.

Sam heads to the dining room.

Sam’s Father: Why did you come home late on the first day of class?

The blond boy rolls his eyes.

Sam: We had casting auditions for the city’s Film Festival.

Sam’s Father: What about your football team?

Sam: We had some new members. There’s this particular freshman that caught my attention. He could be a useful goalkeeper to us.

Sam’s father is heard going upstairs.

Sam’s Father: Well as long as this Film Festival and your girlfriend does not disrupt you of your potential, you must win this season’s tournament.

The man then closes the door to his bedroom and Sam grits his teeth in annoyance. The blond boy ends up having a text conversation with Karen to calm himself and feel a bit better. The couple started to plan a sort-of date for Kyle and Vivian on the weekends. This is how the conversation went...

Karen: Btw, I need your help with something. :)

Sam: What’s up? 

Karen: I think we should try to hook Kyle and Vivian up. <3

Sam: Oooh, interesting. I’m all in! :D

Karen: This weekend. I’ll invite Vivian in secret but do NOT tell Kyle about it.

Sam: You can trust me, Dear. <3

Karen: Really? You’re not very good at keeping secrets. -_-

Sam: What do you mean?! o_O

Karen: Kyle’s “surprise” birthday party two years ago? xD

Sam: ...Good point.

Karen: This is serious, Sam. We need to do this for Kyle.

Sam: I promise, Karen. Don’t worry.

Karen: Good. I should be off to bed. We’ll talk more about this tomorrow during lunch break.

Sam: Sure thing. Good night, Karen. I love you. <3

Karen: Good night, Sam. I love you too. XoXo <3

The two set aside their phones and go to sleep soon after.

The next day of school, Karen and Sam lock their bikes on the bike rack and go inside building while Kyle is still locking his bike. The brunet boy finishes but then spots Elizabeth enter the school gate with a sad look on her face. She still hasn’t accepted the fact that Kyle, her crush, might be cast as Casey and Vivian as Quinn. Kyle runs up to Elizabeth.

Kyle: Eli?

The black-haired girl looks up in surprise to see a concerned Kyle in front of her.

Elizabeth: Oh, hey, Kyle...

Kyle: Anything wrong?

Elizabeth tries to wipe any possible tears that might fall from her eyes.

Elizabeth: It’s just... I’m scared that I might not get the part in the film...

Kyle places a reassuring hand on the girl’s shoulder.

Kyle: You’ll get it for sure. Don’t worry.

Elizabeth shakes her head and avoids eye contact.

Elizabeth: That’s not it, Kyle. I might not get the part that I wanted... I might be cast as someone else in the film...

Kyle becomes somber but continues to encourage her.

Kyle: Eli, whatever happens, whatever role you might play as, you have to do your best. There are times that even supporting characters shine than the main character. For example, look at Alan Rickman as Severus Snape in the HP films.

Elizabeth: What do you mean?

Kyle: What I mean is that; even though you may not play as the role you wanted, if you stand out and act with all of your heart, like what the others did yesterday, then you may catch the attention of some people or maybe someone who you want to notice you.

Elizabeth considers Kyle’s words for a moment. Being the shy girl that she is, she’s been having difficulty standing out, especially when Kyle is involved with something she is taking part of. And so, on that day forward, she nods and has decided to break out of her shell and be a better person than she once was. Her first step is a quick, simple but a meaningful one. She takes up the courage to pull Kyle into a tight embrace, something that she was too scared to do. But now that she was given the opportunity and the pep talk required to do so, she did it. Kyle was taken by surprise but soon hugs back his friend.

Kyle: Feeling better now?

Elizabeth: Yes. Thank you, Kyle.

Kyle: You’re welcome, Eli.

The two pull back and smile at each other. Elizabeth runs ahead and waves at Kyle, thanking him once again.

Elizabeth was easier to talk to since her problems aren’t too personal, unlike Vivian’s. That redhead girl always had me curious about her. Though, Elizabeth is just as important to me as any other friend. She may be shy, I can tell that, but she is a good person.

As Kyle enters the school, he spots Karen and Sam having a suspicious conversation. Sam takes a quick glance on Kyle and quickly ends their chat. He gives a quick peck to Karen before going to the gym. Karen turns to see Kyle and just wave at him shyly before rushing to the Story & Film club. Kyle squints his eyes then pulls out his phone. He texts his mentor, Mr. Ross, that he will be late for Arts Club before rushing to the gym. On his way, he texts Max about interrogating Sam for a secret he’s hiding. Mark texts back that he’ll prepare their secret weapon.

Those two are definitely hiding something that will involve me. Whatever it is, it’s something that they’re keeping close to the chest, especially Sam, since he’s not really good at keeping secrets. But getting them out of him isn’t hard. Mark and I have done it before lots of times. And we got just the thing for absolute results.

Kyle arrives at the gym and waves at Mark. Sam spots the brunet boy and tries to make a run for it.

Mark: Danny, get him!

Danny, confused, does what Mark exclaimed without question as he vigorously wraps his arms around Sam, keeping him in place.

Sam: Damn it, Danny! Let me go! That’s an order from your captain!

Kyle: Don’t let him go, Danny. He’s hiding something.

The three boys take the blond boy into the boys’ locker room and have him sit on a bench, with his hands eventually tied up by Mark.

Sam: I’m not gonna tell you anything, Kyle. I promised Karen.

Kyle: I know. Which is why I’m not going to ask anything.

Danny sets an open laptop, with a Youtube Video ready, in front of Sam.

Kyle: I’ll let this video do the talking.

Sam scoffs.

Sam: Whatever you’re trying to do, Collins, it won’t work. I am as tough as an Aggron!

Kyle: Suuuure.

Kyle, along with Mark and Danny, puts on noise-canelling and plays the video.

The second the video starts, Sam’s confident look quickly falters and he starts screaming.

Sam: NO!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!! MAKE IT STOP!!!

Kyle: What?!

Sam tries to run away but Mark keeps him seated.

Sam: ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!! I’LL TALK!!!

Kyle reads Sam’s lips and grins as he closes the laptop. He, Mark and Danny take off their headphones.

Kyle: Alright, talk.

Sam: ....Karen and I are planning on having you and Vivian go on a...

Kyle: A what?

Sam: ....Some sort of a date....

I fucking knew it! I knew they would do something like this behind my back!

Kyle remains silent before storming out of the locker room and makes his way towards the Story & Film club. He knocks on the door and Karen walks over to it. She thought it was Elizabeth when she opened it.

Karen: Hey, Eli--

Karen’s eyes widen at the sight of Kyle and screams.

Karen: --EEEEEKK!!!

Kyle: What’s your plan, Sis?

Karen fidgets while she slowly backs away from Kyle.

Karen: Wha... what are you talking about...?

Kyle: Sam told me, Karen.

Karen: ....You know, as much as I love him, I hate him too...

Kyle: I know, full well.

Karen shakes her head and composes herself. She looks at Kyle in a serious manner.

Karen: Sam and I just want you to be happy.

Kyle: What do you mean?

Karen: I can clearly tell, Kyle, from what happened yesterday. You’re starting to like Vivian. She could be THE ONE.

Kyle remains speechless from his sister’s words. He sighs.

Kyle: You really think so?

Karen: I know so.

Kyle takes a seat by the table and thinks about what he’s about to go through.

I didn’t want to rush things yet with Vivian. I was afraid that if I did, she might eventually push me away. But instead, Karen and Sam rushed things for me. If what they say is true, that Vivian is my ‘special someone’... then I’m willing to take this dive to the unknown sea. This time, no more second thoughts.

Kyle turns to Karen.

Kyle: Did you ask her already?

Karen: Not yet...

Karen smiles.

Karen: ...But why don’t you do it yourself?

Kyle’s eyes slightly widen.

Kyle: I...

Karen: If you really like her...

No more second thoughts...

Kyle smiles back and nods. He stands up and rushes out of the club room, trying to look for Vivian.

Meanwhile, on her way to sign up for the Music Club, Vivian is walking in the halls. Suddenly, Kyle steps in front of her and and stops, placing his hands on his knees and panting.

Kyle: Vi...vian...

The redhead girl is startled and looks at Kyle with concern.

Vivian: Kyle? Are you alright?

Kyle takes a moment to breathe and composes himself. He points at Vivian in the same way she did when they first met and smiles.

Kyle: Vivian Richards...

Vivian: Y-Yes...?

Kyle takes a deep breath and, with confidence, he asks the important question.

Kyle: Would you like to go out on a date with me this weekend?

Those very words struck Vivian like Cupid’s arrow as she is left stunned.

I know now what must be done, to see if what I, and my family and friends, think is true; to know if Vivian is the one...

The person who will have a place in my heart...

Pokemon, Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, or A:TLA Originals; MxM or FxF

My name is Jupiter, I'm 21, and I'm looking to roleplay original characters in HP or Pokemon with someone who is 18 or older, preferably 20+ as well. I'm fine with side pairings of any gender combination, but I'd prefer the main pairing to either be MxM or FxF. As a preface, I write a lot on average, so my post length varies between novella or multiple paragraphs. Third person, generally past tense, but I can do present tense as well if that's what you prefer. Doubling tends to be my default (but not a requirement!), so let me know off the bat if that's not what you usually go for!

  Since losing the password to my previous email, I've been revisiting some of my favorite feel-good media, so here I am! I'm all stocked up on Harry Potter partners for now (though I won't wave you off if you're looking to roleplay OCs in that universe), so this ad is for Pokemon, Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon. Or Stardew Valley, since I've heard it's basically the same as HM but I haven't gotten around to it. I will soon! Basically just feel-good farmer in a small little town. Asterisks for what I'm most craving!

  ***For Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, I don't have... a real plot, honestly? Nothing beyond the general vibe of "farmer inherits farm and begins life in a small town on the brink of failure either by lack of business or magical means and brings said town back to former glory". Which has a lot of room for improvement/specifics as a plot. I've never roleplayed anything within this vein, but I think it'll be really fun! I don't want to step on any toes in taking inspiration from others' ideas, but I've seen someone mention in previous posts looking for HM partners of doing something very close to the games, like having heart events and character gift systems and festivals and the like, which is extremely charming to me.I've never really run into many people who are huge fans of these games in the roleplaying sense and never really thought to do so, so I'd really love to do this! This universe has so much potential for charming, small-town lives and pining and romance. It's a huge favorite of mine and something I'm craving the most to roleplay. :)

  For A:TLA, I'd like to do something with one of our characters being the Avatar and having a duo or little Avatar team of our own! Bonus points for any non-benders in the mix. The setting would either be before Aang's time or post-LoK, either one would be fun. Maybe something drastic and serious is going on for the Avatar and co to tend to and set things right? I've got a few ideas, but I'd love to go over things with you and come up with a plot of our own.

  **For Pokemon, I'm open to practically anything. I typically prefer darker, larger plots in general, so we could go that route, but I'd also for sure be up for a light-hearted, feel-good adventure roleplay! Pokemon's great for either of those vibes. I'd also be interested in working with characters (or at least one character! I'm all for variety, lol) who use Pokemon in their daily lives or for a profession other than battling.

  As far as smut goes: it's cool with me but not required, so again, let me know if you'd rather not have it involved. My limits are the basic sort: nothing with underage characters/pedophilia, incest, noncon, bestiality, gore, mpreg, A/B/O, toilet kinks, things of that ilk. I also prefer to play switch characters in bed. I've spent way too many years playing with partners who only play bottoms in smut scenes, so I'm a bit burnt out on that.If you're interested, tell me who you are, if you want to do MxM or FxF and if you want to double or not, if you have a plot or want to explore anything I've said or would like to brainstorm, what your limits are, your favorite sorts of characters/tropes, stuff like that. Just give me a solid idea of what you're looking for and what you're all about, please! No one liners or only a few lines of text that basically just say "hi I'm interested in roleplaying with you."
