I walked into the elevator last night with my crutches (obviously) to go grab something off my bike in the parking area and there was someone dressed up on their way to a Halloween party... as a disabled person. As in being a disabled elderly person with a "cane" was their costume.

I was so mad but the abashed look on their face when they saw an actually disabled person with crutches that are rainbow coloured and bedazzled and clearly super functional (as opposed to scraggly, not at all functional, bent piece of wood they had) was priceless. I just stood there in completely defiant silence the whole elevator ride as they tried to hide their cane behind their leg and jacket. That was... definitely an experience.

I didn't mean to come off as passive-aggressive. I would rather not name and shame people and stir up more trouble. I just feel there is a group of people on here, some who have reputations for stealing and some who have reputations for elitism. There is probably a few you don't know or haven't heard of on here as the writing community is a big place. No doubt there is ones you do know.

The followers question wasn't aimed at you. There is a few people on here with a lot of followers who look down on other writers and passively-agressively critique them by vague-posting. Recently I seen a couple of besties complain about medieval OCs not being feminine enough by sewing with other women, and they downgraded OCs who were unfeminine and used swords. I am sure they enjoy shitting on other people's ideas as they did for the Harry Potter fandom and anyone who likes writing Dornish OCs. If you don't enjoy something, why waste time making other people who do, feel bad about it?

Also, I stand by my opinion that people who steal OCs have now moved on to an elaborate way of stealing by using AI scraping.

My question for you is why are you coming to me with this?

If it bothers you that much, don't follow those people. Don't read their work. It's that simple. Instead of coming to my ask box to make accusations and complaints. Curate your own experience.

Do something productive or something you actually enjoy instead of putting so much thought and effort into what others are doing. Why do you care so much? Just block and move on.

The only person I know that has a reputation for stealing is someone who has had multiple people come forward (not on anon) with different degrees of proof against them (including proper dated screenshots). If you're thinking of someone else, maybe someone who multiple anons have accused of stealing but have never shown viable proof (including screenshots), then you're likely wrong and just either trying to cause trouble or are believing rumours without actually looking for proper evidence for the claims.

But we've already been through this. I should not have to keep making this point.

This reads like you're in the same group of anons that have previously contacted me to complain about me or others I know, but you're just trying to be subtle about it to keep me from reporting it as abuse.

If you don't like something or someone, don't engage with them. You have that choice. Just like you have the choice to come into my askbox on anon to complain and I have the choice to respond or not.

Maybe make better ones.

don't let your priorities get out of whack. don't go out and buy luxury items or a fancy new car if you have other things to do like make sure your health is right (regular checkups, full panel bloodwork, the dentist, etc.), getting your dream body, paying off high interest debt, working on your career and education, and investing aggressively (especially if you're in your 20s, this is the best decade for compound growth). it's very tempting to buy things for instant gratification (speaking from personal experience!) but the joy you feel doesn't last long. If I could do it again, I would use big ticket items like bags, nice clothes, silk scarves, huge extravagant trips, cars, jewelry, etc. as a reward for when I hit other milestones, such as graduating college, getting a job that skyrockets your income, hitting a certain number in investment accounts or business profits, hitting your goal weight, etc. and trust me, you will value it a lot more when you have put in the work to set yourself up for success.

one time someone asked me “are you sexually open-minded?” and i immediately saw through that and said “i’m adventurous. but i know what i like and i won’t do something just because someone else wants me to” and sure enough, he ghosted. that was not “oh, we’re both doms, looks like we’re not compatible,” that was “i want to take advantage of someone with sufficiently low standards or experience that she’ll go along with whatever i want, and you won’t let me get away with that”. his was such an underhanded, leading question because no one wants to say they’re closed-minded, but having different desires from someone else is not being closed-minded. you’re allowed to be uncomfortable with or uninterested in trying a sexual act. i wonder how “open-minded” he would have been to my desires. be careful. even if you’re a sub who likes pleasing—especially then—don’t let anyone manipulate you.
