I do so love the backs. When you can see the coloured thread I use It’s an artwork all of its own. I am curious to see if I can create one with just stitching though. The Poet's Flower. Veronica Aldous Made very slowly and with great care, of reclaimed and vintage fabrics that I collected. Stumpwork Corsage or brooch of handyed ruched embroidered silk and rayon with velvet, lace, beads and unusual yarn. I used to do some plant dyeing and so the outer petals are of silk over dyed with various natural dyes.
