Okay so the thing is, I personally am not happy with this sketch, I am stuck in an art block and was really struggling. So I thought that I would give my thoughts on this. I realized halfway through that I would not be able to get the result that I wanted. But instead of stopping and hide it in a sketchbook I remembered the saying #finished_not_perfect. So instead of agonizing over what was wrong with the drawing, I decided to focus on improving my skill in my hand colouring; since I often only colour digitally. No matter what; there is always a learning result by things that did not turn out as you wanted. Also the reason for all the pics is to show that if you want to get into an art program, many instructors will approve of process pictures and such. Just a bit of a hot tip if you didn't know that. So yes not perfect but finished.

#inktober 21...i really like portrait sketching but I don’t do it very often. the troubling thing about this one is that I first sketched it and the pencils looked so nice; it really looked like Bilbo. The pens didn’t work as well. Give me a week or two and I’ll probably look back at this and think, eugh.
