i had never once mentioned it and honestly i don’t know why but my production of urinetown had puppets. we learned how to use puppets for a show about piss. my off night puppet was the best looking one cause i got my connections (me and the techie making the puppets are friends)
okay but actually more about the puppets because they were so cool
-the character who used the puppets the most were the poor character and poor ensemble
-the whole thing with the puppets was that it was like physically showing how the poor were like puppets following orders from the rich
-bobby had this really big puppet where u could control the hands
-at the end of follow your heart hope KISSED the PUPPET and then bobby like became free from his puppet
-it’s showing how he became his own person cause this is when he gets the idea for the revolution yknow
-and then at the end of look of the sky is when all the poor ensemble (minus little sally) shed off their puppets
-because!!! bobby convinced the poor the join the revolution!!!! its showing the rich losing their power!!!!!! its cool trust me
-also don’t be the bunny had puppet choreo which is was the coolest
-also side note while the rich and cop ensemble didn’t have puppets they were like their own thing
-rich people were real life marionette dolls who all dressed the same
-cops were robots
-yes barrel was also a robot
-this does technically mean that lockstocks only friends were a robot and a child
-anyway back on the puppets
-so about little sally!! her thing with the puppets was so cool
-so!!!!! with the puppets basically all poor characters would talk through their puppets. like when they speak the puppet also speaks. opening their mouth and everything
-but!!!! little sally doesn’t control her puppet
-lockstock does
-HEAR ME OUT so basically every single time little sally says a line lockstock is somewhere with the little sally puppet controlling it
-but little sally would give him the puppet!!! like willingly
-it shows how lockstock was like manipulating sally but she was letting him yada yada
-so like whenever lockstock wasn’t on stage and little sally wasn’t yapping she held onto her puppet like a teddy bear
-yes a puppet of herself was her teddy bear dont think too hard on it
-anyway so little sally was the last person to become free from her puppet
-basically during act one finale when she says to lockstock “this may not be a happy musical but its still a musical! and when a little girl like me has been given as many lines as i hav theres still hope for dreams!” is when she SNATCHES her puppet out of lockstock hands
-she SNATCHES her own free will guys!!!
-yeah so the puppets weren’t used to much for act 2
-but!!! during the end of i see a river is when everyone (even rich and cop people) pull out a puppet
-we had this whole ending scene with all the puppets in the sky
-AND MALTHUS OR WHATEVER HIS NAME WAS
-HE WAS THE TRUE PUPPET MASTER
-we have like this balcony thing on the top of our stage and one of the techies went up there to be malthus
-also!!!!!!!! at the end of the musical when everyone gets their puppet back lockstock gets sally and sally gets lockstock!!!
-they’re both manipulating each other!!!
-healthiest father daughter relationship

i feel like ive posted this before but fuckkk i need to write a billdip hunger games au so badlyyyyy
#i cant watch the movies normally anymore bc the entire time im reworking the plot to make it a billdip au#thats how invested in this au i am#i can never decide if i'd want it to be with them from different districts or if i'd just remove the 'one male one female' rule#to just be two young tributes. both bill and dipper from the same district.#whenever i imagine it as the second option it's always dipper volunteering when mabel got called.#if it was the first i genuinely cant decide if dipper/mabel would be from a lower district or if bill would be#(ignore the rest of these tags theyre just rambly ideas)#i could see dipper and mabel being from districts 3 or 7 for obvious reasons. 3 is very techy and higher up ( i hc the pines as being middl#class/upper middle class based on their location and the 2 seconds of their childhood house we see)#7 bc... trees. lol#meanwhile i could see bill being from districts 1-3 or district 12.#anyway.

Actually it is SO weird to me to remember that I was an engineering student and that later on I had been pursuing a minor in statistics
I may be a IT & com person in the end, but I do have the foundations of engineering and statistics in my brain too. Wild !
#speculation nation#if i hadnt liked coding so much i probably wouldve still been an engineer.#like my school does a first year engineering track where u learn the basics and then explore different engineering options#so by ur second year u choose your official track and that decides the rest of your schooling.#and id been thinking about computer & electrical engineering. often goes hand in hand.#guys i couldve been an electrical engineer. honestly that wouldve been so cool. wasnt meant to be tho 👍#i took a coding class my 2nd semester. first experience with coding. it was in C. i LOVED it.#and it got me comparing computer engineering and computer science and i decided that i wanted to do computer science#but well the intro course for that fucking sucked. didnt wanna go back to engineering either bc i hated engineering lol#im smart enough but it's fuckin soul sucking man.#eventually tho i found my way to my current home. im a techie :3 and im happy with that.#anyways do i seem like the kind of person who was into engineering and statistics? sometimes it's weird for me to remember.#but i did spent Years assuming id end up as an engineer. my grandpa was one. my dad was studying to be one b4 he dropped out#and my sister is one. just kinda runs in the family i guess. & so i was So Sure that was where i was going.#took. an engineering class in high school and everything. taught me some good foundational skills in modeling#also was the class that let me develop my signature. bc we had a notebook we had to sign the top of every day#so me doing my signature over and over again. i decided to use it as an opportunity to make it My Own. rather than just my name in cursive.#so yeah im a techie that talks good but i do have that math brain. engineering basis. statistics knowledge.#kinda feel like a jack of all trades (master of none) with it all. but see thats a good thing for companies (i hope)#ive got foundational knowledge of many things. and i am Adaptable. they can teach me the in depth shit i need to know themselves.#and i Also have my work experience in management... which i hope will help my case when applying to companies too.#aaaahhh!!! so many things to think about!!! but at the end of the day i am smart & educated and i will be a good asset to any company i join#i just need to convince them of that 😂 but i can probably figure something out. something !!!#i will graduate college and get some kind of IT job that pays decently & work my way up to maybe someday being an IT manager or smth#i can finally start. truly growing up. instead of being stuck in forever college unable to drive myself anywhere.#have my IT job and a car and the ability to do Whatever i want.... god i want it so bad.#im just daydreaming by this point. god im so excited to finally graduate college.

Anon from a few weeks ago will be happy to hear we're finally playing Process of Elimination, btw
I didn't even get all the way through the demo before I was compelled to buy the full game, it had me hooked so fast
#we're on day 3 I believe. Mystic Detective is in on Wato's supernatural abilities and Holmes is being.. less helpful than she should be lol#I love p much all of the characters but#Doleful is one of those characters that I instantly clocked as My Type as soon as I figured out what his deal was#and therefore he's the tentative fave. I just love me a timid self-sacrificing hero boy#Armor is also good and is the only person in this mansion I fully and completely trust with my life#really the entire initial group before Ideal first shows up are just so fantastic and I want to learn more about them#Downtown and Workaholic are both so complex and I respect the way their brains work so much#and Rowdy is just a fun character with fun abilities#as for the rest they're taking more time for me to warm up to them but we're getting there#Mystic just made leaps and bounds forward on my faves list by outing himself as chronic Team Dad and an edgy gamer to boot#and I WANT to trust Holmes but she is making it SO HARD lmao#anyway no idea how long this game is or how often we're going to get this much time to play it but it's good so far!!#thanks again for the rec Anon!#Tyto plays PoE#EDIT: *Rowdy AND Techie are fun characters with fun abilities#don't know HOW I left him out but in my defense it's 4 a.m.

Spoiler warning, not that you're going to head it lol
Astrid and Thyme's relationship basically starts with Astrid walking on Thyme reading her version of the Book of Dragons. She thinks Thyme is pulling a Heather and trying to steal their Book, and Hyper knows that Thyme has had that book forever and wouldn't try to steal anything. Insert Astrid and Hyper arguing with increasing intensity.
...Y'know, until Hiccup and Fishlegs walk in with their Book of Dragons, and then someone has some explaining to do.

my roommate hasa to get a phone today because of storage. i cant wait to see how much i want to kill myself by the end of this!
