big ole rant ig about moosic n my problem with Media Consumption (mainly 5sos ok) so don't click under da cut if u simply.. donut care :o

literally i have a Nasty Habit of refusing to consume media til it's "'''OLD""" - i think it's cuz when something is fresh and new and shiny cuz it was JUST released i feel this pressure to consume all of it as fast and as deeply as possible to be able to participate in all the discussions, fan interactions, etc but once the hype has died down i feel like i've missed out on the train and since i was simply "too slow" i am no longer allowed to talk about whatever media i was interested in??

also i'm the type of person who needs to consistently interact with whatever and the SECOND i get distracted or deterred or whatever it's like. Gone. dropped outta existence for my four corner world. so like. yk.

N E WAYZ the main point is i'm finally listening to 5sos' C.A.L.M. album from 2020 and it sure is something!!! it sounds p groovy so far, p modern, p poppy ;333 but i sure do miss the lil sprinkle of punk in their punk pop moosic ._.

it's okay tho!!!! times change and subsequently so does a band's/artist's sound and that's okay!!!!! what is the point if not Growth? growth is change baybee!!!!!!!!!!!!! but yeah it's like fun and def something i would put on the car if i had a Guest in the car or something n i was Not So Sure about their music taste so this album would be sosoSO good forsomething nice n catchy n neutral but it's not super duper ~spectacular~ ig =/ but like. i like it!!! then again i like a lot of things so ofc it's not BAD but i'm def one of em lame-o fanboigurlthemz that prefer their old stuff over the newer ¯_(ツ)_/¯ so,, yk
