The Nanny
Tumblr media
Pairing: Father! Eddie Munson x reader
Warnings:
Summary: Years ago you and Eddie used to be friends. After you graduated, you two fell out of contact. After years of not speaking to each other, Eddie offers you a job you can't resist; be a nanny for his little girl.

" Rose! Where are you, Rose? " A loud voice shouts from one of the nearby isles. " Come on, this isn't funny anymore! "
A small black-haired blur shoots past my legs. Surprised, I stumble back and drop the handful of plastic bags I was putting away.
" What the fu- " I catch myself as my eyes land on a pair of wide brown eyes.
A little girl with dark curls stares up at me, watching every movement. A light giggle escapes the mouth of the toddler who's enjoying the chaos she's creating. She tightly hugs a well-worn bunny to her chest, her wild hair bouncing around as she waves up at me. " Hi! " She greets.
" Hi. " I greet back, a small smile crawling onto my face. " Are you Rose? "
The little girl shakes her head quickly. " No. " Her smile betrays her lie.
Over the register, I spot a figure dashing between the isles. The store's fluorescent lights bounce off of the man's black leather jacket.
" Well, not Rose, I think your daddy might be looking for you. "
The little girl shakes her head. "Nuh-uh. "
I chuckle slightly at her sassy attitude. " Well, how about this. If you come out from under the register, I'll give you this cool sticker. Does that sound good? " I show her a small roll of shiny animal stickers we keep for kids who come into the store.
The little girl ponders the offer. Finally, she agrees, crawling out from underneath the register. " Okay. "
I hand her a small sticker before turning towards a figure that comes out of the isles again. " I think you might be looking for this one. " I gesture down to the small child who's attempting to stick the sticker onto her shirt.
" Oh my god. Thank you so fucking much. " The man rushes over to us. He quickly snatches the kid up from the floor, holding her tightly against his chest. " That wasn't funny, Rose. You can't run away from Daddy like that. You almost gave me a heart attack. " The man lets out a sigh of relief as he presses a gentle kiss to the toddler's head.
Not aware of the stress she caused her dad, Rose proudly shows her sticker to her father. " Daddy look! " She giggles while sticking the small lion sticker onto her father's cheek.
" That's cool, baby. " The man mumbles. He still looks stressed out.
My eyes widen as I finally take in the man's appearance. His long curly hair nearly perfectly matches the little girls'. His hands are covered in rings, some more familiar than others. " Eddie? Eddie Munson? " I ask in shock.
The man snaps his head to me. " Yeah? " For a moment he looks slightly more tense. That quickly dies away as a flash of recognition takes over his features. " Oh my…Y/N? "
I smile over at the man. " Yeah! Oh wow, it's been…years. "
Eddie returns to the smile. " Yeah…how-how have you been? I thought you moved out of Hawkins. The last thing I heard was that you moved to Chicago with your boyfriend. " Confusion takes over his expression.
I nod. " Well, I did. For a few years actually. Ben got a job at some firm in Chicago and we thought it would be easier for me to move with him instead of doing the whole long-distance thing. About two years into living out there Ben got the bright idea of sleeping with his assistant and we broke up. " I shift uncomfortably at the memories.
The last thing you do is walk in on your boyfriend fucking his new assistant. long-term. It's not a fun thing to deal with.
Sympathy flashes through Eddie's eyes. " Oh shoot, that sucks. I'm sorry. " I shrug. " It is what it is. We were moving too fast. I shouldn't have moved with him. I was so eager to leave this place I didn't think about how things could go wrong. " I don't want to turn this into a pity party. " It seems like a lot's happened with you the past few years. " I gesture to the wiggly child in his arms.
Eddie glances down at Rose. " Yeah. It's been a little crazy. " He laughs. " Corroded Coffin ended up taking off and we started traveling around. " Eddie's tone goes silly as he gently pokes the tip of his daughter's nose, sending her into a fit of giggles. " Then this one came along and here we are. "
" I heard about your band! That's amazing, I mean you guys deserve it. I remember seeing your shows at the hideout. You guys know how to entertain an audience. "
Eddie's smile widens. " Thanks. We try. "
There's a moment of silence as memories of the past seem to fill both of our minds.
Memories of how our friendship started in middle school and began to fade after I graduated and Eddie failed his first senior year. How we went from hanging out almost daily to barely managing once a week during DnD. It wasn't either of our faults. Right? We were bound to grow apart at some point. I mean, I was in college and Eddie was still in High school. Suddenly getting by with cramming for tests the night before wasn't cutting it. Suddenly I needed to put in more work to earn the grades I wanted and needed. And then Ben came around and our weekly hang outs basically fizzled out. We were lucky to hang out once a month.
Ben just easily got jealous and I didn't want to stir the pot. We had something good. Or at least I thought.
" Can I ask you something? " Eddie's voice drags me out of my thoughts.
" Yeah. Go for it. " I say, moving towards the register. I begin to wipe down the machine, trying to keep myself from getting sad over the way our friendship ended. I'd spent enough nights with regrets bouncing around my mind, I don't need to spend a day on it too.
" Why are you here? "
I glance back at the man. " What do you mean? "
Eddie nods towards the store. " Why are you working at Danny's Grocery? Weren't you planning on becoming a teacher or something? "
My heart drops at the question. That had always been the plan. But things change. Sometimes plans don't always work out. " When I moved back to Hawkins I had 100 dollars to my name. When I was with Ben I got too comfortable. I'd always planned on going back to school and finishing my degree but something always happened. My records didn't come in on time for me to apply for the upcoming season or my dad died. Something always delayed it and eventually, I just pushed it off. When we broke up I used everything I saved up to get back here. I don't make enough to pay my way through school and afford rent, food, bills, whatever. I've tried getting multiple jobs but I just can't seem to land one that doesn't pay barely minimum wage. " I let out a small sigh in frustration. " I'm gonna go back to school eventually, I just need to get my sh-sorry, life together first. Save up a little. " I glance over at Rose, hoping she didn't hear my slip-up.
Eddie is silent for a moment. I feel his gaze on my face which makes me shift slightly.
" I have an idea. " He begins. " I've been looking for a live-in nanny for Rose for my upcoming tour. I just haven't found anyone I trust yet. I'll pay for everything. Your room, your food, tickets. I'll also pay you to watch Rose. "
My eyes widen. " What? "
" Is 50 an hour good? " Eddie's voice is serious.
" Oh my-Eddie! $50 dollars an hour? That's- I can't take that much money from you. On top of paying for my room and everything…that's too much. " I shake my head in disbelief.
$50 dollars an hour?!
" My kid is important to me. I'm going to pay good to make sure she's taken care of. And…I trust you. I mean, you've always been good with kids. "
That's true. I used to babysit Dustin Henderson and a bunch of the other local kids all the time.
" But $50 is insane. " I say, still in disbelief of his offer.
Eddie shakes his head. " It's not that bad. I promise. I wouldn't be offering if I couldn't afford it. "
Corroded Coffin really must've taken off. I should keep up with the news more.
" Please, Y/N. You'd be doing me a huge favor. I've spent months trying to find a replacement nanny and I only have a few weeks until we leave for tour again. I can't leave Rose by herself. " Eddie's eyes are filled with hope.
Should I do this?
The money is tempting. I could do so much with money like that. I could finally move out of my aunt's basement.
I nod. " I'll do it. "

Third P.O.V.
Castiel:
Age: One Hour Old
" I told you, Josephine, I don't want it! " A man yells.
" What do you expect me to do with it then? Huh? This is both of our problems, okay? Both of our problems! "
The voices grow louder as Castiel nears the end of the block. The dim streetlights and light glow from the houses' porch lights send a nightmarish gleam and vibe through the street.
" Can't you just leave it with someone? Leave it at a fire station! I don't care. Just get it out of here! " The man orders.
" Ryan, I can't keep...it! I can't do this thing! Do you know what my parents will do to me? Huh? I've kept it in me for nine months! I can't take care of it anymore! Look, Ryan, I spent three hours in a rest-stop bathroom, pushing this thing out! I don't want it. You take it. " The woman, Josephine hisses while shoving a bundle at a dark man in the doorway of a house.
" I have a life, Josephine. I can't just drop everything to raise this, this abomination! I am not giving up my life for it. No, you take it somewhere and dump it. I don't care. Goodbye. " With that, the man slams the door shut on the girl.
The girl growls loudly in frustration. " Ugh!! " She looks at the bundle in her arms in frustration and looks around.
Castiel watches the girl wander down the street, hiding in the shadows. He can't just let this girl take whatever's in her arms and dump it. He needs to make sure that the thing in her arms remains safe.
" I'll just leave you...here. " The girl says unemotionally before dropping the bundle into a garbage can behind a Chinese restaurant. The entire time the girl had been holding the bundle, she'd been holding the bundle as if it were poison.
The girl looks around before running across the street in the dark.
Castiel makes his way over to the garbage can which releases a whine. A soft whine. " What is that..? " Castiel peers down into the garbage can. The bundle wiggles around. It starts crying loudly. " A child? " Castiel picks up the bundle. The baby, wrapped in a dirty t-shirt, wiggles around. The baby's teary Brown eyes look up at Castiel. " Shh, shh, child. It's alright. " Castiel looks around for a moment, not sure what to do with the crying baby. " Okay, okay, uh, you're okay. " Castiel gently brushes his fingers on the baby's forehead. The baby's cries die down and turn into sniffles. The baby snuffles into Castiel and slowly falls asleep. " What do I do with you? " Castiel asks softly to not disturb the baby's peaceful sleep.
" I think I will keep you. Yes. I will. I will name you...Y/N. " Castiel smiles slightly as the baby lets out a content grunt. I shall protect Y/N with everything I have.
Dean:
Three Weeks Old
Dean takes a sip of the cold beer in his hand. He boredly flips through the pages of a lore book. Sam walks into the bunker with grocery bags.
" Hey, Dean. I'm back. " Sam announces.
" Okay. " Dean pushes the book in his hands aside and looks down at his phone as it dings.
Ex. Mariah
 -We need to talk.
Dean's eyebrows furrow. He hasn't seen Mariah for...months. Ever since their nasty breakup.
Dean
Why? So now you text me? After months of ignoring me?
Ex. Mariah
This is...important. Are you in town?
Dean
Yeah.
Ex. Mariah
Good. Meet me at the park we first met at, okay? Do you remember which park that is? Do you remember the spot?
Dean
Yes. I remember.
Ex. Mariah
Okay. See you in twenty.
Dean sighs. Mariah was too much drama to handle. The last time they saw each other, she accused him of cheating with almost every girl he's ever met. She could never leave anything alone. She was also weirdly possessive.
Dean pulls on his jacket and finishes off his beer before standing up. " Sammy, I'm going out. I'll be back in a little while. " Dean yells into the hallway connecting to the kitchen.
" 'Kay! " Sam calls back.
Dean hops in his car and drives down the street to the park where he meets Mariah. He pauses before turning his car off. Should he do this?
What does Mariah want?
Dean sighs and prepares himself for what's to come while dealing with Mariah. He slowly gets out of the Impala and walks towards the bench he met Mariah on. Dean shoves his hands into his jacket pocket when a cold gush of wind blows through the air.
A small cry fills Dean's heart. Dean furrows his eyebrows. Who would keep their baby out at this hour, especially in this weather? This kid doesn't sound very old.
Dean continues walking towards the bench, only to discover the crying getting louder. Dean pulls out a gun he brought with him just in case and points it to the ground while cautiously walking towards the cries. Dean quickly puts away his gun when he sees a tiny baby in a basket that's covered by a thin F/C blanket. " What the...? " Dean looks around confusedly.
Why is there a baby here? Where are its parents?
A vibration from Dean's phone distracts him from the baby. Dean looks down at the long text.
Ex. Mariah.
I'm sorry you had to find out this way. By now, you have probably reached the bench and discovered the baby. It's yours. I don't want to look after it. I have a life, and I'm sure you do too. Feel free to do whatever you want with it. Take it to a church, sell it to someone, I don't care I just can't spend my time watching it. The baby's one month old, you'll find the birth certificate and all the other important forms you'll need in the basket. It's yours to do whatever you please with. That's all I needed to tell you.
Ex. Mariah blocked you
Dean stares at his phone with his mouth dropped wide open. He re-reads the message over and over again. Dean glances down at the basket and hesitantly pulls a corner of the blanket off the basket. A tiny baby peers up at him with watery Brown eyes. The baby cries and reaches for Dean. Dean stares at the baby. " D-do I pick you up? " Dean asks cluelessly.
This earns a whine as a response from the baby. Dean gently picks up the baby. He holds the baby awkwardly while picking up a stack of pages that Mariah mentioned. There's a birth certificate, as Mariah had said there'd be, and other papers.
Dean gently rocks the baby in his arms, not sure what else to do. Dean sits down, very overwhelmed. He sets the papers back in the basket and turns his attention to the tiny human in his arms. The baby wraps Y/G's tiny finger around Dean's thumb.
At that moment, Dean's heart melted. He didn't care about another other than the adorable child in his arms. " H-hi, kiddo. " Dean says nervously, which is something very strange for Dean. He's rarely ever shy or nervous. Dean's heart fills with a strange love and feeling. " I guess I'm your dad...it's nice to meet you. "
The baby replies with a sniffle and tired whine.
Dean laughs slightly and leans back against the park bench with the baby in his arms, already sure that this baby is going to be in his life.
Sam:
Newborn
" Here's your baby, sir. Y/G's gorgeous. Looks just like you, Mr. " The nurse gently hands over a tiny bundle to its father, Sam Winchester.
Sam stares down at the baby in his arms in awe. " Hi there, sweetie. Hi. " Sam brushes his finger over the cheek of the baby. " I'm your daddy. " Sam says softly.
" There. You have your daughter. " Seraphine, the ex-girlfriend, and mother of Sam's child state annoyed. " Can you get out of my room now? I have to get rest. I plan on getting back into shape as soon as I can. "
Sam ignores the anger bubbling in his chest and glances back at Seraphine. " What is wrong with you? How can you be this way? To your child? "
Seraphine made it clear that she didn't want the kid when Y/G was born. Heck, she hadn't even wanted to carry it full term. As soon as she found out, she planned on having an abortion. Sam found out and was crushed. He'd wanted this baby. Sure, he'd never really been around children before, nor did he really like kids, but the thought of having one of his own brought a joy he wasn't very familiar with to his heart. Sam had managed to convince Seraphine to carry the baby full term and give it to him to take care of. It didn't come easy though. He had to promise to leave her alone after the baby was born and pay her a large sum of money.
" I don't care, Sam. I never wanted it. So get it and yourself out of my room, please. " Seraphine pulls out her phone and starts typing away.
" Y/G is not an ' it '. Sam seethes protectively.
A nurse walks towards him. " I'm going to take this cutie to the infant nursery. You'll be able to see Y/G in a little while after I get Y/G all cleaned up and ready. " The nurse softly takes the small baby from Sam's arms and slowly walks out of the room, towards the door.
" Yeah...whatever. I don't care. Just get out now. I will call hospital security if you don't get out. " Seraphine says stiffly as points to the hospital room door.
" Sir, I am going to have to ask you to leave. " Another nurse says to Sam as she walks towards Seraphine.
" You're rotten, I hope you know that, Seraphine. I'll have someone come in here with the papers for you to sign. " Sam walks out of the room with rage burning through his body. How could anyone refuse their child?
It doesn't matter. I'll always be there for Y/G.
" Where's the nursery? " Sam asks a passing nurse.
" Down the hall, sir. " The nurse smiles while pointing towards the nursery section.
Sam nods and thanks the woman before walking towards the nursery. Sam shoves his hands in his pockets and scans his eyes over the small babies before his eyes land on one. The baby is wrapped in an F/C blanket. The baby's E/C eyes are closed as Y/G quietly sleeps. Sam's rage slowly calms as he looks at his child in adoration.
" Which one's yours? " A man asks as he glances up at Sam.
Sam's eyes widen in surprise. He was so busy thinking, he didn't know that anyone was standing next to him. " Oh, Winchester. Right...there. " Sam points to the tiny child.
The man smiles. " Cute. Mine's over there. Williams. " The man points to a little newborn boy wrapped in a green blanket.
" Oh. He's adorable. " Sam compliments.
" Thanks. Is Y/G your first? " The man asks.
" Yup. And yours? "
" Yeah. My wife and I've been trying for a little over a year. " The guy holds out his hand to Sam. " Jake. "
" Sam. " Sam nods.
" Sammy!! " Sam turns when he hears his name being called. Sam smiles at his brother and the group of people around him.
The guy, Jake, waves his goodbye before he walks off with a nurse.
" Hey, Dean. " Sam greets.
" Where's my Niece/Nephew? " Dean asks. " I brought a few things. " Dean nods to a large number of objects in his arms. Toys, stuffed animals, and of course, a pie. And a tiny baby pie.
" A little? Dean, it looks like you bought the entire aisle at a store. " Sam jokes.
Dean shrugs. " It doesn't matter how much I got. Now, where's my Niece/Nephew? "
Sam rolls his eyes but smiles and points to the newest edition of the Winchester family.
" Dang. Y/G's so adorable! " Dean says happily while looking down at his new Niece/Nephew. This is very strange. Dean normally isn't so...this way. " Tell me again, are you sure this is your kid? " Dean asks Sam.
" Oh, stop it, ya idjit. " Bobby slaps the back of Dean's head.
Dean mutters an ' ow ' but remains looking at the baby.
" Oh, Sam, Y/G's so cute! " Jo smiles as touches the glass. She chats cheerfully along with Dean.
" Good job, Sam. " Ellen compliments. " Y/G's a beautiful child. "
" Thanks, Ellen. " Sam smiles.
" Did you talk to Seraphine? Did she change her mind? " Bobby asks.
Sam sighs. " No. She's still the same selfish woman she was when I met her. "
" That bit-" Dean begins but Ellen cuts him off.
" Dean Winchester! " Ellen scolds.
" Dean, don't swear. I thought that we were working on this. You can't keep swearing anymore, especially now that Y/N's here. " Sam says sternly.
" Y/N? That's a nice name. " Castiel says, finally speaking up. He seemed to have been in deep thought the past few minutes.
Sam smiles. " Thanks. Y/N Y/M/N Winchester. "
" Beautiful. " Ellen smiles. " That's a beautiful name. "
Sam nods.
I'll stay with you, little N/N. Even if your mother doesn't.
Crowley
Half a Year Old
" Send the hounds. " Crowley says dismissively as he boredly flips through a magazine on his throne.
" Yes, sir. " Crowley's demon servant, Marvin, nods before hurrying off.
Crowley spends the next hour on his throne, trying to amuse himself. He throws darts at his servants, prank-calls random demons in different tones, and even spies on the Winchesters.
" S-sir? " A demon says shakily.
" What is it, Marvin? Can't you see I'm busy? " Crowley asked rudely while pointing to the empty air around him.
" S-sorry sir. " Marvin stutters.
After a few moments of silence, Crowley rolls his eyes. " Did you just come in here to stare at the ground? My ground? I don't have time to waste just watching you stare at my ground. "
" I am so sorry. There, um, there was a problem with the hellhounds. " Marvin mutters.
Crowley leans forward. " What? I can't hear you, Marvin. No one can hear you. Who are you talking to? Me or the ground? "
" There was a problem. " Marvin says louder.
Crowley waits for the demon to elaborate. Nothing happens. " What was the problem? " Crowley asks. He's getting more and more annoyed by the second.
" The hellhounds killed Margot Lylard as you ordered, but, " Marvin sighs. " There was a complication. "
Crowley gestures to Marvin to continue talking.
" There was a child there. " Marvin spits out.
" So..." Crowley asks. " You came to me why? There have been people with children in the past. "
" That's the thing...the hellhounds wouldn't...attack it. They just...left. Left the child alone. And...no one here wants to...take it out since..well, the hellhounds didn't kill it. " Marvin gestures for a woman to walk in. She holds a child away from her body as she walks into the throne room. The woman places the baby in the middle of the room on the rug leading to the throne and quickly leaves.
" Bubdahmha. " The baby gurgles while patting the ground under Y/G. The baby giggles while looking around the room. The baby starts crawling towards Crowley, babbling to Y/Gself with small squeals and giggles along the way.
Crowley looks down at the small child with a blank face and cold eyes as it nears him. " Stop. " Crowley commands at the baby.
The baby makes a face and ignores Crowley, still crawling towards the King of Hell. The baby grabs at Crowley's pant legs and pulls. " Dapuhama. " The baby frowns when Crowley does nothing but stare. " Dapuhama!! " The baby frowns and dismisses the king.
" Just so you know, you filthy little human, I am the King of Hell. You cannot just simply walk..well, crawl I suppose, in here, and touch me with your filthy hands. " Crowley growls.
The baby looks up at Crowley with a small grin. " Gaga goo. "
" Humans these days. They think they're free to do as they please. " Crowley rolls his eyes. He looks up at Marvin. " Go make yourself useful and find something to do. I'll find something to do with this...human. "
" Yes, sire. " Marvin runs out of the room without a second thought.
Crowley looks down at the baby. " What's your name, little one? Huh? You're very sassy, and I do not like the way you look at me. As if you're greater or something. "
The baby doesn't respond but leans back against Crowley's legs. The baby shoves Y/G's tiny fist in their mouth.
" In a strange way...you're kind of adorable. " Crowley lifts the child who looks at him with a cute little grin. Y/G's sparkling E/C eyes crinkle slightly when they smile. " I think I'll keep you. You seem like an interesting child. If I don't know your name, I shall name you something. How about...Dylan? No. Too...not my type of name. Marley? I don't like that for a first name. Y/N. Perfect. You are now Y/N Y/M/N Crowley. Wonderful. We shall conspire together once you grow up to an appropriate age. Yes, we will. "
We will have so much fun planning together.

Girl Reader's P.O.V.
" Look who it is, the girl with no friends. What's her name again? Winpester or something? " Lucinda Mills, one of the meanest people on earth snickers with her friends as I walk past her.
I keep my head down, hoping she'll leave me alone. I've only been here a few days, but she decided to make my life miserable. Dad and the boys have been trying to track down a nest in the local area, but they're having a tough time finding it. The longer they take trying to find where the nest is, the longer I have to stay here at this school. I don't want to be here any longer.
I'm all alone in this new school. I haven't made any friends, not that I'd be able to keep in contact with them if I did. We move around way too much for me to be able to keep friends for long.
Sammy's in the high school that's a few blocks away and Dean doesn't go to school anymore, so I'm all alone in this middle school. I wish I was older and able to go to school with Sammy or help hunt with Dean and Dad. I just have to get through this day.
" Hey, Winwhatever, come here. " Lucinda orders.
I try walking away and pretending I didn't hear Lucinda, but she walks up behind me and yanks my arm back.
" Look at me when I'm talking to you! If I tell you to do something, do it! " Lucinda yells, attracting unwanted attention.
I blush ferociously and look down at my feet. It's the end of school. I've had a long day, all I want to do is go to the motel and hang out with Sammy and Dean. " What do you want? " I ask nervously.
" Look at me. "
I hesitantly look up at Lucinda.
"Oops. " Lucinda ' accidentally ' bumps very hard into me. I lose my balance since I'm on the school curb and drop my binder onto the ground. My study flashcards fall to the ground and land in a muddy puddle. All the loose papers I had in my hands started blowing away in the small gusts of wind. " Pick everything up. Now. " Lucinda leans back on her heels and folds her arms as she nods for me to pick up all my dropped papers.
I nod stiffly and rush to pick up all my spilled work. I grab everything, but mostly all of my papers and flashcards are either sopping wet or crinkled.
" Looks like she obeys, that's good. Hmm, I like your jacket. " Lucinda says as I walk back to her. She pulls at the black jacket that Dean gave me earlier this week. " Give it to me. "
This entire time I've been silent and doing everything Lucinda says. I don't want to give up my jacket! No! " N-no. " I say sternly but shakily. I won't let her have my jacket.
" What was that you little pest? Did you say no to me? Did I hear that right, girls? " Lucinda asks her squad.
" Ooh, you heard that right, Luc. This brat doesn't want to listen. " Makenzie shakes her head at me.
" I thought I did. " Lucinda moves towards me. " I said, give me your jacket! " She orders.
" N-no! " I shake my head. " No. You can't have this jacket. No. " I stubbornly look up at Lucinda.
" Fine. I guess I'll have to take it then. " Lucinda pushes me back and I fall onto the hard, wet concrete. She rips my binder out of my hands and tosses it to the side. Her friends hold me down as she tears my jacket away from me. She picks my binder up again and drops it onto my lap. Her friends abandon me and stand back. While holding me down, they also messed up my hair and smeared mud onto my neck and face. I look terrible. I feel terrible. I just want to go home.
" You see what happens when you don't listen? Next time, it will be much much worse. " Lucinda warns as she looks at my jacket. She pulls a piece of leaf off the sleeve and tosses it to the ground. She puts on my jacket and turns around to show off to her friends. " Doesn't it look way better on me? Oh, I can't bear to see such good clothing wasted on losers like Y/n "
I wipe a stray tear that falls down my cheek. Why does this have to happen to me?
She glares down at me, a cruel smirk growing on her face. " Don't cry, you big baby. " She looks down at my binder. There's a stack of papers that are stapled together in the front pocket. " What do you have right here? Your paper is done? Wow, " Lucinda snatches my school paper on baseball player, Toni Stone, and flips through the pages. " you got that done fast. Hmm, I like it. I think I'll take it from you. " Lucinda starts ripping up my paper painfully slow. It was handwritten because I worked on it during study time and lunch...I was going to go home and transfer it to my computer...now I have to do it all over again! Lucinda drops the large pieces of my paper onto the ground. " Oops. What a shame. Such hard work...oh well. " Lucinda smirks.
" Hey! You! " My head snaps around when I hear Sam yell. Same never yells. He's usually the calm brother.
I see Lucinda's eyes widen. Her friends start mumbling about how cute my brothers are as they angrily walk towards us from across the street where Dad's Impala is parked.
" What do you think you're doing? " Dean asks Lucinda with a dark glare as the boys get closer.
" Um, nothing. Who are you? " Lucinda asks.
" It doesn't look like nothing. It looks like you're bullying my little sister. " Sam wraps an arm around my shoulders after helping me up.
" Y-you're related to Y/n? " Lucinda asks. Her eyes are glued to Sam.
I raise an eyebrow and shove my hands into my pockets because they're cold.
" Yeah. " Dean says in a ' duh ' tone. " She's our sister, as Sam said like three seconds ago, kid. Now, we've been here a few minutes, and we've seen what you've been doing. Let me tell you this, I don't like it. You don't get to mess with innocent little girls and get away with it, you hear me? " Dean spits.
" Um, we were just messing around? " Lucinda asks more than says.
" Were you? Really? Because messing around doesn't look like you shoving down Y/n, having your goons hold her down, and then ripping off her jacket. No. You were harassing and hurting our little sister. " Dean turns to Sam. " Now, I'm not tripping, right? This punk was messing with Y/n, right? "
" Yes, she was. " Sam nods in agreement.
" Y/n, what's this kid's name? Huh? " Dean asks while looking down at her threateningly.
" Lucinda. " I reply quietly.
" Okay, Lukillma or whatever, pick up the papers you so ruthlessly dropped. " Sam gestures to my torn-apart paper lying on the ground.
" W-what? " Lucinda asks.
" Pick up the papers. I mean, since you were the one who threw them on the ground, it's only reasonable that you pick them up. " Sammy replies innocently.
Lucinda looks like she's about to protest but she listens and embarrassedly picks up my torn-up paper.
" Now give it to me, please. Lukarmakiller. " Dean holds out his hand for the papers.
" Um, okay? " Lucinda hands the papers over to Dean.
" Look here kid, I don't want you messing with my sister, or taking any of her things ever again. If I find out you're giving Y/n any trouble, any trouble at all, even bumping into her on accident, I will turn your life into a living nightmare. Okay? You got that? That goes for all, " Dean gestures to every kid in the courtyard as he speaks. " of you. Every last one of you. I don't care if you accidentally drop one of Y/n's pencils, I will make your life terrible. Sammy, " Dean pats Sam's shoulder. " and I will make your life terrible. You got that? "
No one moves or speaks.
" Do you understand?! " Dean asks louder.
Mumbles, stiff, 'yes's' come from all of the kids.
" Good, now, I see you still have Y/n's jacket. " Sam says while eyeing my jacket that's still on Lucinda.
" H-here. " Lucinda tries to quickly take off the jacket but Dean stops her.
" No, we'll get N/N a new one. We don't want her catching anything from...what's your name again? Lucrazima? Lunightmare? Whatever, well, we don't want Y/n catching fleas or rabies or something. " Dean shakes his head.
Sam rolls his eyes. " You get rabies from a bite, not from sharing a jacket. " Sam points out.
" You know what I mean. Who knows what these kids carry around with them these days? " Dean points at Lucinda who blushes again. " We don't want Y/n to catch anything that could hurt her. Now, we've spent enough time here. Let's get going kids. "
I blush at my brothers' words.
" Yeah, c'mon Y/n. " Sam keeps his arm around my shoulder as he walks with me towards the Impala. Dean tosses my backpack and binder into the back of the Impala.
I look out the window after bucking up. All the kids are watching us, waiting to see what happens. Lucinda is dying in embarrassment.
" Why didn't you tell us that brat was messing with you? " Sam asks.
I shrug.
" Don't shut us out now, Y/n. That isn't how this is going to work. No. You need to tell us whenever those punks mess with you. Every time. We will make whoever hurts you, pay. I promise. " Dean glances back at me in the rearview mirror.
" I didn't want to...to bug you guys. You're busy looking for that nest, and I didn't want to bring you into my school problems. It was no big deal, I-I was doing fine by myself with those kids. " I mumble. I've always been a shy and quiet girl. I tend to be shyer and quieter when I get in trouble though.
" Look, you're not in trouble, kiddo. You just...I want you to tell us when kids are messing with you. That's not okay. Your problems are our problems. When one Winchester is messed with, all Winchesters are messed with. " Dean parks outside of a gas station/restaurant. " Will you tell us the next time someone's hurting you? Please? "
" Yeah..." I nod without looking away from my hands.
" Look me in the eyes and promise, Y/n. " Sam turns to me as he talks.
I sigh and look up at my brother. " Fine. I promise, Sam. I promise Dean. "
" Good. I love you, N/N. " Sam smiles.
" I love you guys too. " I smile. It's nice to see that the boys stood up for me. They didn't stand by and watch as I got bullied. They stood up for me even though I didn't ask them.
I love my brothers, and I don't know what I would do without them.
" Who wants some pie? "

Reader's P.O.V.
" Come out, come out, wherever you are, y/n. " A sinister airy voice calls. " I will find you! Wherever you are! Your brothers and dad will never be able to save you. They'll never help you. They'll forget about you. " The voice cackles and a shadow runs past my hiding place. I curl up tighter and whimper with tears in my eyes.
" Leave me alone! " I whimper. " Deany! Sammy! Daddy! " I scream as a dark head peer down at me. The eyes are a glowing red and the teeth on the creature are a mixture of white and sickly yellow.
" They can't hear you, N/N. " The creature laughs. " No one can hear you. You're mine now. "
Shivers run down my back. " H-how do you know m-my name? " I whimper in fear. What is this creature? How does it know me? What did I do to it? Why does it want to hurt me? Where's Daddy?! Where's Deany and Sammy? I want my family!!
" Oh, I know everything about you, Y/n. Everything. I know that you hate life on the road, that you don't like switching schools every week so your father can hunt my kind and others. I know you wish at times that you had a normal family. Oh, but you can't have a normal family, can you little girl? Such big thoughts for a tiny child. " The creature rushes towards me. Before it can grab me, it stops a few feet away with a wide evil grin. " Oh, what the others would do to get you, a Winchester. You and your family have been nothing but a pain for us these past years. You're going to grow up to be exactly like your father and brothers, and that I will not let happen. We don't need more of you in this world. That's why I'll be taking care of you now. Oh, child, this is your end. Your bloody, horrific end. " The creature lets out a sharp whistle that hurts my ears. I wince and my eyes widen as I see other creatures start to appear. There are shadowy creatures, like the one that spoke before, and many many other creatures. Vampires, Skinwalkers, werewolves, and more, all wanting to eat me.
I scream as they laugh and lunge at me. " No! Stop! No!! Daddy!!! Dean!! Sammy!! Help me! Help me!! "
" Y/N! Y/N!! Wake up! Wake up, kid! Come on! Y/N! Wake up! " I hear Dean's voice over the screeches of pleasure coming from the monsters.
" Help me! " I scream. My body is shaken wildly. My eyes snap open as the creature takes a large bite out of my neck.
Dean stares down at me, his eyes wide with worry and confusion.
" Don't let them eat me, Dean! Don't let them eat me! " I beg while sobbing. Big tears drip off my face and onto Dean's shirt as I cling to my older brother.
" Shh. You're okay, Y/N. You're okay. Calm down. You're okay. " Dean soothes. He pats my back comfortingly.
" Don't l-let them eat me. " I hiccup. " Don't let them eat me. "
Dean runs a hand through my hair. " Don't worry, Y/N. They can't hurt you. Nothing can get you. You're alright. You're safe here. "
" Dean? What's wrong with N/N? " Sammy asks sleepily as he stumbles towards us.
" Nightmare. " I hear Dean whisper.
" Oh. " Sammy climbs onto the bed next to me and Dean. " Are you okay Y/N? "
I whimper and shake my head. " N-no. They're after me. "
" What happened in your dream? " Sammy asks.
" Monsters. " I sniffle. " They ate me. And, and you, you guys didn't come. You didn't save me. Y-you didn't save me! " I cry.
Dean sighs. " It's just a dream, Y/N. Sammy and I are right here. The monsters aren't here. Okay? You're okay. "
I nod and pull Sam into the hug. " Don't leave me. Don't let them eat me, please. "
" We won't leave you, Y/N. We'll always be here to protect you. That's what older brothers are supposed to do. " Sammy smiles softly down at me. " We'll always be here to protect you. "

Want To Hunt
Tumblr media
Pairing: Brother Sam & Brother Dean x platonic!younger sister reader
Warnings: Very cringe and short. I wrote this when I was in middle school. Originally from Wattpad.
Summary: You want to go hunting but your dad won't let you.

********
Third P.O.V.
" But Dad! I wanna go! Come on, dad. I'm old enough now. You said, once I turn eleven, I could go on hunts with you and the boys! Come on, dad! I'm mature now! " Y/n yells annoyedly. Her dad, John Winchester, had said she could go on a hunt as soon as she turned eleven like Sam and Dean both did.
" Mature? Ha! You still watch Barbie and Friends on TV! That's mature. " Dean teases Y/n while ruffling her already crazy hair.
Y/n glares at Dean. " Dean, no one asked for your opinion. "
" Ooh. Sassy. " Sam chuckles, also ruffling Y/n's hair.
" Y/n, " John sighs. John rubs his temples. " for the last time, no. You're not going. That's final. "
Y/n huffs. " Daddy! You promised! Pinky promised! That's the most special kind of promise! What's the big deal?! You let Sam and Dean start hunting a little when they turned eleven! C'mon. I promise I'll be good. I'll do everything you say. I'll even listen to the two buttheads. " Y/n gestures to Sam and Dean. This isn't fair. It just isn't fair. What do Dean and Sam have that I don't? Oh, that's right. They're boys.
" Hey! We're not buttheads! " Dean and Sam say angrily at the same time.
Both John and Y/n ignore the boys.
" Forget my promise, Y/n! I don't want you getting hurt. This hunt is going to be dangerous. Very dangerous. Your brothers are more experienced, that's why they're going. Maybe next hunt you can go with us. Just not this time. " John pulls on his jacket and stands up before looking at Y/n. " I don't want you getting hurt. "
Y/n rolls her eyes. " It's not like I'm going to be taking on this thing by myself! You three will be there to protect me. "
" We can't spend every minute we're hunting, worried about you, Y/n. Next time, okay? " John pats y/n's arm before walking towards the motel door. " Come on, boys. Let's go. "
Y/n frowns. She never gets to do anything the boys do. It's not fair.
" Don't be sad sis. " Sam smiles gently as he looks down at his younger sibling. " When we come back, I'll teach you how to exorcise a demon. 'Kay? "
Y/n sighs and retreats to one of the beds. " Fine. I expect you to tell me every detail of this hunt when you come back though, okay Sammy? Dean-o? "
Dean nods. " Of course, N/N. "
Y/n watches as her dad and brothers leave. Sam pokes his head into the motel room before he closes the door. " Remember to keep this door locked. Don't answer it for anyone. Not even us. We'll use the key to get in. Keep the curtains closed, and stay here. "
Y/n nods. " Okay, Sammy. I know what to do. Bye. "
" Bye. "
Y/n flips through the TV channels, knowing that this hunt will take a long time.

after the genocide in Palestine ends, people who survived will be traumatized for the rest of their lives, they won’t be able to live in their homes anymore because they no longer exist, they won’t be able to be comforted by the people they love because they have been burned alive, raped, shot, or starved to death.
the genocide will end one day, Palestine will be free one day
however, for the sake of your humanity, don’t stop sharing about Palestine, these people suffered for so long, the least we can do is making people know that they exist and that they have never been safe with Israel’s existence
and that you are NOT and never will be free if you aren’t enough to stop a literal genocide, you are just a number in the population register

Hey guys. I don't watch the news very often, I probably should. I had heard a little bit about what was going on in Palestine but I had no idea just how horrific it was. As I've been reading through different sources all day, I have the strong urge to say something. I need to make it clear that I do not support Neil Druckmann and his zionist views. I'm still not completely sure what a zionist is but from what I read, it sounds very harmful.
I support Palestine and I will be participating in this strike which I just learned about today. I hope you will too. I hope that if you don't know much about what's going on in Palestine like me, you will continue to learn and we can both grow to understand the situation fully together. This author @elliesbelle has been such a helpful resource for me. I have been able to learn so much while looking through her page and I recommend you look through it as well.
I am still learning and would appreciate any information and education anyone has to offer to me.
yes, the global strike for palestine is over. HOWEVER, there is another one taking place from february 18 to 25.
for what to do for the second strike, here’s a reminder:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
if you didn’t hear about the first strike? okay. that’s fine. not everyone is always online. i hope that you’re still doing something in your own way to rectify that.
but this time? there really should be no excuse. you have weeks to prepare.
you have time to figure out how to get out of work or school (if you can).
you have time to prepare prior so you don’t buy anything while it’s going on and can help disrupt the economy.
you have time to spread the word and raise awareness to your friends, family, co-workers, etc.
and if, for some reason, you can’t do any of the things above? you’re at least aware that from february 18-25, it is a total media BLACKOUT unless it is about palestine (exceptions are obviously other global atrocities like what’s happening in congo and sudan and pakistan and etc.)
no “harmless” selfies you took in the bathroom. no vacation photos. no posting of stupid little memes. no retweeting about some insignificant. irrelevant hollywood feud. no reblogging of cutesy animal pictures. no fun little inside jokes on your finsta.
don’t care if your account is small or private or “unpopular.”
instagram, tumblr, twitter, facebook, all of social media.
if you aren’t even capable of that?
hell is hot and i hope you burn.

nooo pls make more parts for knock knock
Sorry I'm just not sure what to put on the next part. I left it on a cliff hanger type thing so you could add your own ending to it. Do Ellie and reader end up together or does someone mess up the date?
I struggled to finish the second part. lately my imagination just hasn't been very good. I have a hard time finishing multi part series. If I come up with some inspiration for a bonus part, I'll make sure to post it.
Ty for reading!

ABC List Stranger Things Master List
*****
People are evil. They truly. When things get rough the worst parts of us tend to leak out. Maybe it's from fear, maybe it's from adrenaline. Whatever it is, the worst parts of us tend to leak out, forever changing us.
Three days after the virus hit Hawkins my family was killed. A group of blood thirsty survivors tore through my parents' house, killing everyone. Well almost everyone.
I managed to get out. I'm not sure how, but I did. I ran until my lungs hurt. Until I felt like I would die if I kept going.
Flashes of Jason Carver, the athlete turned cold blooded survivalist leader, killing my parents running through my mind. The lack of emotions sent shivers down my spine. How can someone take the life of another and not feel anything? Not feel guilty or disgusting. Somehow the previous three days turned the cocky pretty boy into an emotionless killer.
The personality change is terrifying.
I managed to find a house away from the inner heart of Hawkins. Away from the people. Thankfully, whoever lived there left behind a good amount of food and water.
Unfortunately, food and water can only last so long. I knew this day would come. The day where surviving off of the pantries of nearby homes wouldn't be possible anymore.
Frankly, I'm not sure how I've made it 6 months on my own. I still struggle to kill the zombie things out there. I hide away whenever they come out, hoping they don't hear me move around.
I tuck the last few remaining bits of food into my backpack before pulling the heavy pack onto my shoulders. I do one last sweep around the house, making sure I have everything I need.
I tightly grip onto the kitchen knife in my hand. Hopefully I don't run into a hoard. There's no way in hell I could survive if I do.
I close the front door of the house I've been borrowing for the past half a year. I feel anxiety bubble up in my stomach. I'm scared. I can't deny it. What if I get bitten? Or kidnapped by Jason Carver's pack of assholes?
I have no choice.
The sound of crunching leaves beneath my feet and wind are the only sounds I hear as I step onto empty street. It's silent, the way it has been for months. The last time I heard something was when a small group of zombies wandered through the the neighborhood, managing to somehow stumble into every garbage can possible.
Any sign of human life is gone. The lack of animals is terrifying. Is everything dead? What if I'm the only person alive.
Will I be alone forever?
It's been hard being alone for so long. There's not much you can do when you're by yourself with no access to electricity or running water.
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss my fucking job. At least there I got to talk to people, even if it was a forced greeting.
I finally make it out of the neighborhood. Even though I haven't been this far out in months, I remember every road. I know exactly how to get to the center of town.
There has to be some place with food, right? There's no way Jason Carver could have gotten absolutely everything.
As I pass another neighborhood, I immediately spot the smashed in doors. Windows are shattered and belongings from inside and thrown around the yard. People have raided here.
In a weird way it gives me some sort of hope. Maybe there are people besides Jason and his friends that are alive. Maybe they'll help me.
Not everyone can be evil, right?
Not everyone is a murderer.
A few cars litter the roads, rotting people sitting inside. Some have turned and others are still, their bodies decomposing.
I finally make it to the entrance of main street. All of the surrounding buildings are smashed in. I pass a four car crash in the center of the road, dried blood staining all around.
The loud sound of groans fills my ears. A shiver runs through my back.
There's a zombie somewhere out here.
I turn onto a nearby street and immediately regret my decision. Dozens of zombies wander around the street.
" Fuck. " I mumble, fear crawling it's way towards my throat.
The heads of the zombies snap towards me, their dead grey eyes piercing into my body like a knife.
They have fucking super hearing or some shit. I'm fucked. I'm fucked.
I quickly turn to run down the street. The sounds of shuffling feet follows behind me. They're not super fast, but there's no way I'd be able to run for miles with them behind me. If I stop running they'd easily catch up.
Clenching the knife in my hand, I run as I fast I can off of main street. Maybe I can make it back to the house? Fuck fuck!
Fuck me. The side road is blocked by another group of zombies. My old neighbors, people I used to talk to every day, quickly turn their hungry eyes on me.
I'm so screwed.
I have two fucking hoards behind me.
I turn onto another street, hoping there's not another group on this street.
I'm so caught up in panic that I don't register the sound of a speeding car and gun shots.
A brown and white van speeds in front of me. The door opens as it quickly halts to a stop a few feet in front of me.
" Get in! " The man yells. His eyes trained on the group behind me. In his hands is a large shot gun.
I hesitate. What if this guy fucking kills me?
" Earth to girl, get in the fucking van! " Another man in the drivers seat yells, shooting the pistol in his dirty hands.
Fuck it, being killed by them might hurt less than being eaten alive.
I scramble into the van, immediately noticing the pile of tools and weapons laying around.
The man at the van door slams it shut. He clutches onto the back of the passenger seat in front of him as the driver speeds down the street. He turns his attention to me, immediately raising his gun towards me when the van stops jumping around.
I push myself against the van wall, fear coursing through my veins. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe I should've just gotten eaten. " Please don't hurt me! " I keep the knife in front of me, hoping it'll help somehow.
Who am I kidding, a fucking knife won't save me from shit.
" Drop the knife. " The man grunts. His face is covered by a short beard. His long frizzy hair is tied back into a bun, his head covered with a battered hat. A small scar runs down the left side of his face, near his eyebrow. His eyes look familiar but I can't quite place it.
Deciding it's probably best if I listen, I carefully set down the knife. " Okay, okay. " My breath is shaky.
" Check for bites. " The guy up front barks, glancing back at us from the rear view mirror. His skin is covered in splotches of dirt and grime, his eyes are covered with a pair of dark sunglasses. His hair however, reminds me of someone; Steve Harrington. It's neatly put up, only a few stray strands framing his face.
I don't have time to question the looks of the man up front before the guy holding a shotgun speaks to me.
" Show me your arms and legs. "
I don't hesitate to shrug off my bag and jacket. I pull up the ends up my sleeves, turning my arms back and forth before pulling up my jeans. I let out a small wince when I notice a large gash on my ankle. I have no idea where I got this. Maybe I scraped it against something? "
" Where did you get that? " The shotgun man asks, nodding down to my leg.
" I have no idea. I had no idea I was bleeding. "
" Tie them, E. " The man up front says nonchalantly.
My eyes widen. " What? But I haven't been bitten! I swear to god, I haven't been bitten. I-I'll take everything off and show you! " I offer, terrified about what these men are going to do to me.
Guilt flashes in the shot gun holding guys' eyes. " Look, until we know you're not dangerous or infected, we can't take any risks. If you're clear, you'll be out of this in no time. " The guy pulls a handful of zipties from his pocket. " Please give me your hands. "
I hesitantly hand his my hands, seeing no way out of this.
The guy quickly ties my hands and ankles before putting anything sharp in my reach in a locked box. He pulls a small red bag out of the box and scoots towards me.
I try to scoot further into the corner of the van, tucking my arms into my body.
The guy notices. " I'm not going to hurt you. " He pulls out a Band-Aid. " I'm gonna clean your cut up. If it's not infected with the virus, it's going to get infected by some other shit. The last thing you need is an fucked up leg. " His tone is slightly softer than it was a few minutes ago.
I allow him to take a look at my ankle. His cold hands pull my ankles onto his lap before he begins cleaning up my cut. The anti bacterial wipe stings but not bad enough to cause me to wince.
" Good news is it's not deep. Probably a branch or wire that scraped you. "
I take this opportunity to study the mans face. Small dark bags rest under his brown eyes. Over grown bangs droop past his eyes, pushes aside by him every once in a while.
Up closer I notice the shirt he's wearing. It's covered in dirt and blood, making it nearly impossible to tell it was once white. My eyes trace the familiar design. The Hellfire Club.
I was never apart of it, but I'd heard of it. I'd thought about joining back in high school but I was too scared. I worried they wouldn't let me play since I'd be the only girl in the group or think I wasn't good enough to join. I let my fears get the best of me.
" Eddie Munson? " I ask, my eyes looking up at the mans' face.
His eyes meet mine, widening in confusion. " Yeah? "
A little bit of relief fills my chest. I was never friends with Eddie, but I'd worked on a couple of assignments with him growing up. He was always kind and for the most part, did his part of the project. I'm not exactly sure why he got held back. He was smart, he just didn't seem to want to put in the hard work needed to graduate. It was like he didn't believe in himself.
" I'm Y/N. You probably don't remember me, it was so long- " I'm cut off by him.
" From world civ! " His lips curl into a small smile. " I remember you. "
My heart jumps a little. I'd always had a small crush on the dark haired boy. He was one of the reasons I wanted to join Hellfire. He'd talk about it sometimes during our projects, making it sound so fun.
" Is that Steve Harrington? " I ask, glancing to the driver.
" It's me. " Steve replies, his eyes not leaving the road. " Sorry, I don't think I remember you, Y/N. "
I nod. " I was 3 years older than you so we never really crossed paths. " I feel slightly more safe knowing I at least semi know the people I'm with. " Did we lose the zombies? "
" Yeah we lost them a while back. " Steve nods, his eyes glancing back at the rear view mirror every once in a while. " We're going to need to stop for gas soon, Eddie. "
" Fuck. " Eddie sighs. " Of course we are. "
" Should've filled the tank up when I told you. " Steve rolls his eyes.
Eddie finishes bandaging up my ankle before gently fixing the positioning of the ties around it. " I was busy grabbing bullets. "
The van pulls to a stop and Steve shuts off the engine, making sure to take the keys out of the ignition. " Grab the tube. "
Eddie grabs a small bag. A small tube pokes out of the top of it, quickly disappearing when Eddie shoves it down. " We'll be back. " He reassures me before opening the back doors and jumping out.
I quietly lean against the van wall.
" Let's just cut them free. " Eddie's voice is muffled slightly .
" No fucking way, Eddie. I know you know them, but we still have to follow protocol. We keep them tied for at least a week. Until we know they aren't infected. Besides, we don't even know if they're dangerous. They could slit our fucking throats and steal our supplies. " Steve's voice is stern.
Eddie sighs. " They wouldn't do that. I know they would- "
" When was the last time you saw them, Eddie? High school? It doesn't sound like you guys were friends when they graduated. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to recognize them faster if you were. " Steve points out.
" Well, yeah but they're a good person. They wouldn't do that shit. " Eddie defends me, making my heart jump a little.
My stupid fucking crush is back.
" It's been years Eddie. You don't know them. It's been 6 months since shit hit the fan. People change, especially after all the crap that's been going on. They probably aren't the same person they were years ago. Look, nobody's going to hurt them. We just have to keep the ties on until with get back to the lab. "
Eddie gives up arguing. The two return and Eddie tosses the bag on top of the tool box. The van slightly fills with the scent of gasoline as Eddie and Steve close the doors. The source being the tube.
Steve rolls down the front windows, letting air filter through the van.
Eddie sits across from me, his shot gun next to him. " We're going to help you. " He reassures me. " We just can't risk that you aren't infected. As soon as we're sure you can get those off. " He glances down at the zip ties.
I nod. " I understand. Thank you for saving me. "
Eddie smiles. " Of course. Couldn't just let you die out there. " He leans back against the van wall, crossing his arms. " We've got a bit of a ride, sit back and relax. "

" You fucking narc. " Venom drips off of Ellie's voice. Her eyebrows are drawn together, anger splayed across her face.
I hold onto the door handle tightly, staring at the girl on the porch. " I told you what would happen if you didn't shut your little party down. I'm not playing. Williams. " I try to keep my tone cool.
" I'm not either. This isn't over. " With that, Ellie storms away. She slams her front door, mumbling to herself in the process.
Serves her right.
------
" I'm going to kill Ellie Williams. " I huff, burying my head into my hands.
Loud, music vibrates off of the walls. Dina rolls her eyes. " You just keep making things worse by pranking her. She was pissed when you sent 50 pizzas over and she had to pay. No wonder she's throwing another party. "
" She'll easily make the $300 back. She sells fucking drugs, she makes more than I do. " I mutter.
" Maybe try talking to her again? I mean, if it's bugging you that much, it's always worth another shot. Just don't piss her off this time. " Abby suggests, her eyes not tearing away from the medical anatomy book in her hands.
" She's pissed off by everything I do. I literally asked to borrow a pencil once and she told me to fuck off. " I sigh. " But I guess it's worth a shot. Are you guys seriously not bothered by the constant noise? "
Dina shrugs. " Not really. I mean, we live on party row. Of course people are going to throw parties all night. "
I just want some peace. At least like an hour.
I push myself up from my spot on our couch. I'll just try asking nicer.
Once again, I find myself wandering through Ellie's house trying to find her. Eventually my eyes land on the brunette. Her head is tossed back from laughter, her blunt loosely hanging out of her fingers. She's manspreading on the couch, a guy snorting what I assume is coke next to her.
Her eyes eventually find mine as she scans the room. A small smirk makes its' way onto her face. She breathes in another puff from her blunt before releasing it in my direction.
God, even through the smoke she's hot.
" Look who's here guys, the cockblocker. " Ellie teases. " What can I do for you, babe? "
My stomach tumbles from the pet name. I can't tell if it's from nerves or from excitement.
I ignore the feeling, trying to focus on the reason I came over here.
" I wanted to see if we could work out a deal. " I stand a few feet away from the brunette, my eyes not leaving hers.
Ellie's eyes break contact as they scan me up and down. " A deal? " She leans forward, her full attention on me. " What kind of deal? " her eyebrow cocks up in curiosity.
" The kind where we both end up happy. You get to throw your parties and I get a full nights' sleep. "
Ellie stands up, taking a step closer to me. The faint scent of cologne and weed fills my nostrils. " Go on. "
" I'll pay you 100 bucks a week to shut the parties down at 10. Please. "
" No. " Ellie's voice is cool.
I furrow my eyebrows. " No? " I was really hoping she'd take the deal. I mean, who doesn't want free fucking money. The only thing she'd have to do is shut down the party. " What? Um, fine. I can probably do like 10 bucks more. But barely, I'd have to pick up a few more shifts. I- "
Ellie interrupts me. " I don't want your money, Y/N. "
" Then what do you want? " I ask, desperation in my tone. " I can't stay up like this anymore. I've-I've tried earplugs, white nose, everything. Fuck I- "
" I want you to go out with me. "
Ellie's words surprise me.
I search her face for any sign of a joke.
Her expression is serious. Her eyes stare into mine. A glinter of what I think might be worry or nervousness shining at me.
" What? "
Ellie repeats the words. " I want you to go out with me. I'll stop the parties if you go out with me. " She shrugs, pulling the blunt up to her slightly chapped lips.
My eyebrows furrow. " But why? "
Ellie rolls her eyes, a smirk playing on her lips. " Because you clearly want to. Don't think I haven't noticed the way you check me out. Not that I have an issue, I think you're hot too. "
I feel heat burn against my cheeks. " I do not check you out. "
Ellie nods mockingly. " Sure you don't, babe. What I said still stands. If you go on a date with me, " She shrugs. " I'll stop the parties. "
" Completely? " I ask.
" Completely. " She confirms.
I'm silent for a minute. Ellie continues to look into my eyes, her confident exterior seeming to grow slightly less confident as the time goes on. She looks a little nervous. I've never seen her like this before.
" Fine. " I finally talk. " I'll go out with you. "
Relief flashes across Ellie's face. " Alright. " She grins. " Friday sound good? "
I nod. " Friday. "
Hopefully this is worth it.

" Fucking hell. " I groan angrily, smashing my pillow over my ears. Why can't they just shut the fuck up?
Why the fuck did I decide to move into frat row? Every building that isn't a frat is a party house.
Deciding enough is enough, I force myself out of my bed. I make my way to the living room where my roommates are all gathered.
" Did they wake you up too? " Dina asks with a yawn, rubbing her temples.
" Who didn't they wake up? The entirety of Jackson has to have heard them by now. " I mutter, pulling on my coat.
" Where are you going? " Abby asks.
" To tell them to shut the fuck up. Some of us actually needs sleep to survive. " Usually I'm fine with parties. It's college, I've gone to some and I probably will go to more in the future. The problem is, our new neighbors just never seem to shut up.
I make my way across the lawn, sleep slippers squelching in the damp grass. Ignoring the way water is slightly seeping into my shoes, I step around a passed out frat boy.
Empty and nearly empty bottles of booze and other unidentified objects litter the porch. I loudly knock on the door. Within a few minutes the door is opened by a giggly girl. Her half lidded eyes scan my body, a grin sprawled across her sweaty face. " Hey, you here to party? " She asks, her words slurred badly.
" No. I want to see whoever's in charge here. "
" That would be Ellie. "
Of course it's Ellie Williams. The campus' infamous dealer and partier. I had no idea she moved in here. The last time I had to deal with her was in my history class last year. Absolute hell. I got paired up with her for an assignment and ended up doing majority of the work while she spent her time at a local bar, hooking up with the bartenders.
The girl slightly sways to the music, her mind trailing away from our conversation.
She's not going to help me. She doesn't look far from a blackout.
Deciding to take things into my own hands, I push past the girl to get into the house.
" Hey! " She squeaks, trying to balance herself.
The pungent smell of weed and alcohol fills my nostrils. Clothes and red solo cups litter the ground and staircase. I step over a nasty looking puddle, trying to locate Ellie.
" Where's Ellie Williams? " I ask a group of stoners sitting around a cluttered coffee table.
A guy with dark hair looks up from the joint he's rolling. " Who's asking? "
" Me, the fucking person who lives next door. Where is Ellie? " My frustration grows. Along with not being able to sleep well the past few days, I'm overly stressed with some upcoming tests. I can't deal with this right now.
The guy, obviously sensing my pissed off attitude, nods down the basement. " Down there. She might be with a girl. "
I push past a couple grinding in front of the basement door, trying not to touch anything. I'm pretty confident this place hasn't been cleaned in a while and I don't doubt there's some new species growing around here. I'm pretty sure I saw a condom on the TV stand.
The basement is dark, the only light coming from a couple of string lights that are hugging the ceiling. Loud, muffled music bounces off the walls. Immediately I feel slightly better at the lack of people.
The room is fairly clean except for a small pile of clothes near what I'm guessing is the closet. It looks more like a bedroom than a basement.
On the bed I spot a familiar pair of converse shoes. Straddling her is a long haired red head, who's only in her bra. She lets out a small moan, neither of them realizing I'm here.
" Ellie. " I spit, standing at the base of the stairs. I cross my arms, glaring at the pair.
The girl on top jumps from surprise, pulling away from Ellie. She looks back at me, her lipstick and her mascara are both badly smudged.
Ellie's head pokes out from behind the girls' body. Frustration is clear in her expression. " What the fuck do you want? "
" I want you to shut the fucking party down. It's 3 in the morning. Some of us, who actually give a fuck about their future, have to go to class in the morning. "
" I'm gonna go... " The red head gets off of Ellie's hips. She quickly gathers her clothes. " Later, Ellie. "
" Wait you don't need to- " Ellie trails off into a frustrated groan as the girl rushes upstairs. " Fuck! " She sits up, her eyes glaring at me.
I shift slightly, uncomfortable with the angry glare she's sending my way. I can't back down. I need my sleep and I'm going to get it.
" This has been going on for days. Can you please just shut off the music? Just until like...I don't know, tomorrow morning? "
Ellie rolls her eyes. She reaches towards her night stand, picking up a joint. She lights it up before finally responding. " Sounds like a major you problem. Besides, who the fuck throws a party in the middle of the day, cock blocker? " She smirks slightly at the nick name.
Anger courses through my veins. She's getting more and more on my nerves. " Can't you be a little considerate? You aren't the only fucking person who lives on this planet, in case you've magically forgotten. The world doesn't revolve around you. "
Ellie leans towards me slightly. " Oh really? " She asks in an obviously fake surprised tone. " That's news to me, baby. Look, if you want an invite next time, all you have to do is ask. " Ellie gets off of her bed, probably in effort to intimidate me.
She's hot.
Fuck, I'm angry at her. I'm not supposed to be attracted to her.
But the way her tank top hugs her body...The strands of hair framing her face...No. I'm angry. Stop fucking eyeing her.
" You're an asshole. " I shake my head, crossing my arms. I force my gaze away from the woman in effort to stop the flock of butterflies in my stomach. " If you don't do something about the music, I will. "
Ellie chuckles. She steps towards me, only stopping inches away from me. She leans towards me. " You know, you're pretty hot when you're angry. " She whispers into my ear. Her hot breath fans over skin, sending shivers down my spine.
I take a step away from her. I don't like the way she makes me feel. " I guess I'm going to have to do something than. "
Without looking at her again, I hurry up the basement steps. I make my way over to the blasting speakers. My body seems to vibrate with every step towards the speaker I take. How has someone not broken an eardrum yet?
I yank out the cords connecting the speakers and suddenly the house is quiet. People around me stare in surprise.
Ellie pushes past the same couple I had to pass to get into the basement. " What the fuck are you doing? " She asks, clearly pissed.
" I asked you multiple times to turn off the music. Since you didn't do anything, I did. " I toss the cords onto the ground. " Keep it off or I swear to god I'll call the cops. "
I'm not narc but at this point, I'm on the verge of losing my mind.
" Fine. " Ellie says, making me double take. " We'll keep it off. "
" Thank you. " A small breath of relief slips through my lips. I make my way towards the front door, passing Ellie on the way. Before I leave, I look back at the girl.
Something about her expression sprouts a seed of uncertainty in my stomach.
" Good night, CB. " She smirks slightly while following me to the door.
" Good night, Ellie. "
She closes the door behind me, leaving me in the quiet outside. I don't know what she has up her sleeve, but I know she's up to something.
I make my way back to my shared house. My roommates thank me for dealing with the neighbors before we all hurry back to our bedrooms.
I lay down in my sheets, closing my eyes. I feel my eyes grow heavy.
Maybe I was wrong? Maybe she really is going to let us sleep tonight.
A loud muffled guitar solo breaks through the silence. The few moments of quiet are quickly replaced with the sound of blaring music.
My eyes fly open. I throw off my blanket, storming towards my window. I peer over at Ellie's house. She's smugly standing on the lawn, smoking what's left of her joint.
Our eyes meet, sending anger through my body.
She slowly flips me off, laughing at something one of her friends near by says.
It's on.
I tear myself away from the window. I turn on my phone, dialing the three digits I really didn't want to dial tonight.
" 9-1-1, what is your emergency? "

Jacket
Tumblr media
Warnings: Use of Y/N. I just wanted to let you guys know that in this fic the reader can fit in his jacket. I don't describe if they fit comfortably or if the jacket is tight on them, I made it up to the reader's mind so that everyone can feel included in the story.
Summary : The night Chrissy went over to Eddie's trailer, you went to. I mean, you weren't going to let Chrissy just go to a strangers house without back up. Unfortunately, when things go wrong, you end up on the same wanted poster as Eddie. Together, you're forced to run away.
Eddie didn't get held back in this. He and reader are both the same age.

" What the fuck? What the actual fuck! What the fuck! " Panic courses through my veins. I begin to pace around the Munson trailer, my eyes planted on the girl only inches away from me. " Oh my god, Chrissy! "
It happened so fast. One moment Chrissy was talking to Eddie, the next she fucking flew into the air.
The horrible sounds of her bones cracking echo in my mind. I almost don't here Eddie's voice.
" What do we do? Shit, what the fuck do we do? You saw that, right? "
I manage to tear my eyes away from Chrissy. Eddie has distanced himself from the two of us. Like me, he paces near his door. A ring clad hand is anxiously running through his hair, panic flooding his face.
" We're fucked. " I whisper.
Chrissy and I had known each other since grade school. Our friendships was one of the longest I've ever had.
Part of me wants to grieve, to cry and scream and freak the fuck out. The other part is scared. What the fuck happened to Chrissy and is it going to happen to us?
" We have to call the cops. " I turn in the direction of Eddie's landline.
Eddie rushes to stop me. " We can't! We can't call anyone. Fuck, do you see how she looks? That doesn't-that doesn't just happen naturally. " His voice is filled with worry. " We'll get pinned for whatever the fuck happened here. "
" But we didn't do anything wrong! " I protest. " Maybe they can help us! Maybe they can figure out what killed her... "
Eddie shakes his head, and lets out a frustrated laugh. " Do you seriously think they'll believe us? A metal head freak who happens to run a club called 'Hellfire' and a quiet loner who's stuck in the shadow of Chrissy Cunningham. No, they're going to assume the worst, trust me. We don't have a chance if we go to them. "
His words hurt, although they are true. Everything I do, Chrissy was able to do ten times better and ten times prettier.
" Well what do you suggest we do? We can't just stay here! I don't know how much longer I can look at her anymore, god it's so awful. " I put my hand over my mouth, trying my best not to puke at the sight.
Eddie thinks. " We need to leave. I-I think I know a place. " He rushes towards the back of the trailer, towards his room. Within seconds he's back with his signature jacket and small backpack. He hurries out of the trailer with me quickly following behind.
" Where are we going? " I do my best to keep up with his brisk pace. We quickly pass his van. " Why can't week take a car? "
" Because they'll find us! " Eddie says, frustration clearly in his tone. " We're going to my dealers' house. Our cars'll give us away if we take them. We just have to stick to the woods. We can make it in an hour or two. "
I stay quiet not wanting to upset him even further.
This is going to be a long night.
-----
I'm really regretting not bringing a jacket or wearing comfortable shoes. It has to have been an hour. It has to.
I don't know for sure. All I know is my feet are killing me and my my fingers are pink from the cool nights' breeze.
It's been silent the entire walk. Both of us wrapped into our heads about what just happened. I want to go home. I want everything to just be okay. I want to wake up and find out this is all just some horrible dream. I want Chrissy to be alive.
" Y/N! " Eddie's voice hisses.
I let out a small gasp when Eddie suddenly yanks me towards him. He holds me tightly behind one of the nearby trees as a loud truck passes on the road.
His body is warm, bringing a small amount of comfort to my freezing frame. His grip doesn't falter until after the truck passes, a sigh of relief passing his lips. " They almost saw us. " His tone is slightly frustrated. He steps to the side to create some distance and I immediately miss his warmth.
" Sorry, I...I was thinking about Chrissy. " I murmur, hugging my arms to my chest.
Eddie shrugs off his jacket, extending his hand towards me. " Here, you're fucking freezing. "
I look at him in surprise. " What? Are you sure? Won't you be cold? "
" I'd prefer if you were alive, and right now, you're cold to the point I think you might die of hypothermia soon. "
" Thanks. " I mutter, accepting his jacket. As soon as I put it on, I begin to feel slightly better. I shove my hands into my pockets, quickly following Eddie out of the woods.
It's creepy in there.
Guilt fills my mind as I watch Eddie walk. His signature black and white hellfire shirt blows softly in the wind but he doesn't seem to be affected. At least he doesn't show it
" Here we are. Our new temporary home. " Eddie leads me towards a house.
" Are you sure we can be here? I think the owners might be asleep. " My anxiety begins to rise. What if his dealer turns us in?
Eddie chuckles. " Reefer Ricks' been in jail for the past two months and he definitely isn't coming out any time soon. I'm sure he won't mind us crashing for a few weeks. "
Unconvinced, I watch as Eddie lifts up the dealers' door mat. He picks up a small key that glimmers in the moonlight.
" That doesn't seem like a smart place to keep your spare key, especially for a dealer. "
Eddie unlocks the front door, letting me inside. " Well, there's a reason he got caught. "
We shuffle around the dark house, making sure to leave the lights off in case any of the nearby homes spot us.
We make our way upstairs when I remember I'm still wearing Eddie's jacket.
" Oh here, I almost forgot. " I begin to take his coat off.
Eddie shakes his head. " You can wear it tonight if you want. It's still pretty cold in here. I don't mind. "
He's not wrong. The house is old and almost every window has gaps where cold air is let in.
Eddie's sweet. I hadn't ever really met him before tonight. I didn't expect him to be so...kind.
" Thank, Eddie. "
I don't know what's going to happen to us in the future, but I'm glad I'm in this with Eddie.
