Allora, allora, facciamo un po' di storytime:

La passione per questa ship è nata dalle bellissime fanart di Anastasia Kim, artista russa, una delle mie dee del disegno (insieme a Kaneoya Sachiko e Loputyn).

Poi vabbé la passione per il mondo di Tolkien è arrivata come un'esplosione atomica nel 2001 con la trilogia di P.J.

L'estetica di Mairon e Melkor, quindi, si basa sul canone dato dalla nostra Anastasia anni fa su Deviantart, ma io ho voluto metterci il mio tocco.

Il concept di partenza per Mairon è il fuoco, la lava, il ferro fuso, così perché fargli dei banali capelli rossi? È una creatura mistica quindi può avere i capelli fatti di fuoco!

L'idea è che Mairon si illumini come le stelle di Stardust quando è particolarmente eccitato per qualcosa (esempio quando è molto felice o soddisfatto) e così anche i capelli seguono questo andamento: più è felice più le fiamme si fanno splendenti e vibranti, più è arrabbiato o giù di tono più si incupiscono, diventando quasi magma e pece.

Altra cosa a seconda delle ere il suo aspetto cambia, sempre più corrotto dal male perde la luce e la bellezza data dalla "purezza" dei Valar.

Sometimes when I think I’ve truly gone insane (well that’s already up for debate), a certain Someone does things that are out of my control, that line up perfectly, that puts a proud smirk on his face knowing he orchestrated a perfect mindfuck for me to cry over (in a good way).

So. Dan has somehow found a small child. A practically newly born ghostling who had literally fallen right on top of him. A ghostling who had practically formed right above him, far away from nurseries and instead above him of all ghosts? 

Him, the Sunkiller? The Worldeater? Jordan Vladimir FentonNightingale-Foley-Manson? Son of Space and War? Bringer of the End?? Seriously, what the hell! Ghostlings shouldn’t even be able to form within other ghost’s Lairs, and he knew for a fact this wasn’t his own ghostling seeing as he wasn’t interested in such things. 

So here Dan is, feeling more confused than he ever has with a newborn ghostling clinging to him and sobbing in his arms about wanting his dad. What even is his unlife right now.
