6) Do you have any strange phobias?I do not! I am just generally afraid of normal things to be afraid of, like heights, closed in spaces, spiders and the crushing weight of knowing that you cannot halt the inevitable march of time.

9) Simple but extremely complex. Favorite band?NOT SIMPLE AT ALL AHHHHhhh. First of all I’m counting single musicians as well because music is music. For like, metal and hard progressive stuff I cannot rave enough about Arjen Lucassen and his various projects including Ayreon and Star One. If it’s cute music that feels like candy in my ears I am and always will be a dyehard for Aqua and Cascada. For Christian music (and honestly nothing gives a better picture of what I believe and hold closest to me) that isn’t actually all just “yay we love God!” but actually has some real spiritual depth to it I cannot, cannot rave about the late Rich Mullins enough. Honorable mentions that I’m super into right now include Fart Barf (don’t let the name fool you they are incredible electronic music) and Pogo (really gorgeous freaking unique soft pastel electronic music)

13) What is your greatest weakness; your greatest strength?My greatest weakness is probably completly the crushing executive dysfunction that likes to masquarade as laziness and keeps me from achieving things and being productive. But my greatest strength is passion! 23) What’s the worst place you have ever been to?Years ago I did some volunteer work at orphanages in the Ukraine. We mostly went to children’s orphanages, and it was a lot of fun working with the kids and getting to know them. But we did a stop in an adult men’s mental health orphanage, where mentally disabled adults were cared for. Children who were mentally disabled never really leave the orphanage system there and generally end up in these adult orphanages. This place was so appallingly run down, the lights didn’t work well, it was dirty and understaffed, and my heart absolutely broke for the conditions in which these people were being kept and cared for. I wish we could have spent more time there, the men there were so happy to see us and so happy for a chance to interact with anyone from the outside world and we brought them pictures to hang on their walls which they were super excited for because the place was so barren of any kind of life and I just. It was a heartbreaking experience but one I will never forget.
